T-Rex lunges for the girl who just blasted it...that's a DC 25 TOU save
-
passed his TOU save And he hits
-
Voltage took off the moment she did, and quickly proved her equal in flight. He rarely had an opportunity to push himself in flight, but he proved remarkably fast in the air. That, combined with his teleportation made him an incredibly mobile hero. Normally, it might be a bad idea to go that fast in an underground area with tight corners and little room to maneuver. Voltage, however, could calculate every angle and turn long before it happened, giving him incredible agility in the air as well. "I'm as fast as you, it seems..." He said with a chuckle. It was obvious that, on some level, he was enjoying a chance to really move.

GM He felt that one, he stumbled forward a bit and growled as the blast struck him. He stumbled forward a bit, and then growled menacingly. He turned and charged at Asad, apparently no longer dismissing the other man. Unfortunately, in his blind rage, his swing went wild and missed Asad by a mile. He stumbled forward a bit more, and looked confused. How had he missed a man so close to him? He seemed to say. He didn't look happy, not by a long shot.

27 and the big guy takes his first bruise And he misses with an 8!

Mali stifled a laugh. Naturally, she didn't even realize that Tona was still wearing her boots. The slight heel was a nice touch, something Tona should be able to easily get used to walking in. The purse would help her feel a bit more secure about her lack of pockets, too. She opened the driver's side door of her car and settled in, checked the mirror, and put her seat belt on. She was still very methodical about it, which was really the only sign she was a new driver. Her actual driving skills were indistinguishable from a more experienced driver. Really came in handy when your superhero mode of transporation was a motorcycle. "Alright, are we all ready to go?"

GM The brute grimaced as the strike hit him...and then grinned. Unfortunately, Asad didn't quite muster enough power to hurt him, because he didn't seem to care. His right hand shot out fast, striking Asad in the stomach, causing the other man to stumble back a bit. Whoever this guy was, he was as tough as impervium and as strong as a tank. He moved back to what he was doing, apparently assuming that he had discouraged Asad enough to make him back off.

34 TOU save And a 23 to attack back
-
GM He seemed to consider what Asad had to say. For a moment, he stopped his rampage to glance at the other man. For but a moment, it looked like things might end peacefully. Unfortunately, the large man did not give Asad a chance for a peaceful resolution. Instead, he turned around and slammed his fist into the side of Asad's face. Despite Asad's incredible resilience, the blow struck hard enough to send Asad staggering back a few steps. The sheer sound of the blow audible even to the other drivers, who now seemed to be watching the show.

Dazed and bruised! Asad is up

20 for the thug 16 for the attack roll
-
GM The man turned towards Asad. It was immediately evident...the man wasn't just attacking at random, there was a reason. Unfortunately for Asad, he wasn't in the mood to talk. Instead, he ignored him and kept rampaging. This time, he threw pieces of one car at another, caving in the side. Then he kicked that car until it's side crumpled like aluminum. The six and a half foot giant didn't think Asad was a threat, but he didn't seem inclined to listen, either.
-
He definitely seems angry. though his rampage seems a bit too random to be from simple rage. There's probably some other reason behind it. Once you get home, I recommend initiative.
-
GM The man stood at over six feet tall, broad shouldered and muscular. He gave Asad a bit of a confused look, as if the man's sudden arrival was confusing and odd to him. He turned to a nearby empty car and, with a mighty swing, caved the top of the car in. He wasn't aggressive to Asad, apparently, but that didn't mean he was in a better mood. He ignored Asad, but wasn't in the mood to stop his angry rampage. He reached down and grabbed the bottom of the car. Then, with a mighty heave, flipped the machine onto it's back. Luckily, no one was inside it, because then he reached down and caved the car in, sending pieces of machinery everywhere.
-
That brings him from Hostile (he's in a really bad mood) to indifferent to Asad. However, he doesn't really care either way.

GM August 29th, 2012 6:00 PM It was getting later, with the sun hanging lower on the horizon, threatening to start sinking below soon. It was a warm day, one of the few left in Freedom City. Still, it was a good day. One of the finest restaurants in Freedom City and Asad had a reservation months in advance. Of course, he had a date to said restaurant. He had the reservation before the date, but that was hardly difficult for him to arrange. When you're handsome, rich and charming, it's not hard to keep your date book full. At the moment, it didn't feel so charming. The car was stuck in traffic. His beautiful, expensive car was just stuck. Ah, well, he hoped his date would understand. At least, until he saw the idiot who was slowing traffic down, a big, strong thug with more muscles than brains...

"I'd rather trust the stairs, but that's just me. Elevators are easy to trap and we may not get out in time if it is. Stairs are likely easier to escape if something bad happens. What do you think?" He asked. Dr Green's tendency to lay ambushes and traps was something he was beginning to grow familiar with. This wasn't something he was too keen on walking into again. Still, an elevator was a tactically inferior position, more chances to trap, more chances to ambush. The stairs could be ambushed too, but it looked to be the lesser of two evils. He hoped, anyway.

"I say the skylight. We should be able to drop at least one apiece before they even realize we've hit them. Of course, if they do react in time they're likely to have a good shot at us. Maybe I should drop in from the skylight and you should take the front door. If I blast that skylight wide open and drop in, they won't even notice you coming in through the door. What do you say?" He realized that he'd been teaming up with a lot of female superheroes lately. Miss Americana, Ironclad, Stormbreaker and now this one. He wasn't exactly complaining, but it was an odd coincidence.

Mali noticed that he was checking her out. She didn't mind, really. He wasn't being obvious and obnoxious about it, and besides, he was kind of cute anyway, well, that and she was kind of checking him out too. 'Kind of' in the sense that her assessment was just a bit more subtle than his of her. She had noticed that Claremont was absolutely full of attractive people of both genders. She couldn't hardly turn around without spotting someone at least cute, if not gorgeous. It was kind of weird, but she really didn't mind, nope, not at all. "Yeah, I usually train mornings and evenings. Sometimes I do it at home though, kind of depends on my mood and if my parents need help with anything around the house."
-
He shook her hand and turned towards the building. "That matches the nature of the previous thefts. Whoever these guys are, they definitely have some dangerous tech. If we let any of that tech slip away now, they'll be far more dangerous against whatever they're stealing it for. I don't plan on giving them that chance. Shall we go free them of that burden?" He asked.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Office (OOC)
Thunder King replied to Raveled's topic in Archives
Got a 21...hope that doesn't hurt TOO bad -
"Things are okay." She said. "Ninjas are kind of annoying. They're supposed to be these elite warriors, but they're really not very 'elite'. They're sort of easy to beat up. I had a run in with some bad people a few weeks ago, my dad got put in the hospital. He's okay now, but it'll still be a few weeks before he's completely back to normal." Despite her optimistic view of the situation, it was obvious that bringing it up reminded Mali of something bad. Still, the shadow fled quickly, as it had apparently been easily dealt with. "Training you say? What kind of training were you thinking?"
-
that's a hit...Dazed and bruised At this point, Jubatus probably hears the alarm...which I'm ruling goes off about when YB wallops the T-Rex with a blast. So Jubatus should be up, Cubist.

"Sure." Mali said with a smile. She was always eager to train with people. Either she'd get a chance at watching people spar, spar herself, or teach someone some more about fighting. She found all three of those things to be wonderfully entertaining. Sharl was an odd one. She didn't dislike him, but she also didn't know him all that well. Ah, well, she liked it better at Claremont than her old school. Nobody judged her, and there were always interesting (if weird) new people to meet.
