Voltage nodded and understood. He realized it would take Danica and Ryder to help Eira understand. It really was a good design, useful for a number of applications, but probably not one for a person like Danica. He didn't touch anything. He didn't need to. He was connected directly to the Lab's computers with his technopathic powers. "While Eira's busy, would either of you like something to drink?" He motioned over to a small fridge in the corner. "We've got soda, water, juice, energy drinks..." "I've known Eira for quite a while, actually. I used to work for her uncle. I still do, somewhat, I'm a contract employee now." He grumbled internally. He was still terrible at talking to people.
-
Voltage was waiting for them to arrive, sort of floating near the door. While he could stand, he didn't like to. He rather enjoyed floating in mid-air because that was just easier. He was rail thin, with a sharp face and short white hair. He gave them a friendly smile. "Hello, welcome to the lab. I'm Voltage. I started my career at eighteen, a bit too old for Claremont." He waved them in. "I know what it's like to be a young superhero. Honestly, I enjoy working on new projects." "I've already allocated some resources to this project." He said. "Once we have a design we can start working on it." He tapped his forehead. "I'm connected to the lab network through my technopathic abilities. As long as we don't go too crazy, we can have some fun with this and put something together."
-
Voltage sat back. The design was certainly impressive. He could see a bit of her uncle's influence in the aesthetics. He took a breath. He needed to be circumspect, to be respectful. Honestly, the design would work wonders for most people. He was a bit worried that a tortoise girl might be intimidated. "From what I gather, Chelone likes a bit of a slower pace. She may find the sheer speed a bit intimidating. I appreciate what you're trying to do for your friend, but we should get her input, too."
-
Voltage leaned forward, pressing his hands together beneath his chin and looked thoughtful. "I wonder what parts of his mind, if any, the drones have. I would imagine an agent of his experience would have some valuable information available. The 'how' is indeed a big question here." "Is the question of 'how' a question of how they got their hands on his schematics? Did they end up with technical documents on Irons' cybernetics? I do wonder how, precisely, they got information on his schematics. Perhaps that's part of the question?" He shook his head. "Empty speculation, would need more information."
-
Voltage said nothing about what he saw, knowing that others in the room were far more circumspect and capable of discussing these things delicately. He respected the greater understanding and wisdom of Miss Americana A factory for building synthetic drones. He knew such things existed, but he wondered if Simmons simply couldn't handle the information. Imagine seeing your own obsolescence incarnate. Or was it an entirely different issue? Whatever the case, it went poorly. Instead, he simply stroked his chin thoughtfully as his computer like mind worked various angles.

Adam laughed with joy and snatched Lulu up into his arms. He tossed her gently into the air and caught her effortlessly. He kissed her (trusting that she'd be wearing smudge proof lipstick) and hugged her tight. "Yes I missed you. I didn't think you were coming." He only reluctantly put her back down after a few moments. One advantage of his strength was that carrying Lulu around was hardly any effort at all. When he finally set her gently on her feet, he smiled. "You look gorgeous."
-
Voltage leaned forward. "Our focus was on saving your life. Our other concerns were secondary. We wanted to make sure everything would transfer cleanly and that you'd function without issues before trying to get information from you. I'm glad to see it's working"
-
"Can we even extract any information from the agents?" Voltage piped in. "Wetworks people, AEGIS agents. They don't seem the type to talk to us about it with us. Doctors don't usually interrogate suspects. Then again...I...I feel like we need to get him up and running and see what he thinks is going to happen. None of this looks good." "How does everything look so far?"
-
Adam strode into the party with confidence. His issues made him very particular about his appearance, so he never had anything out of place if he could avoid it. He wore a tailored three piece suit, with an emerald green vest and a black tie. This wig was neatly trimmed, and he had his eyebrows on. "Hey everybody. Lulu couldn't make it, had some heavy duty studying to do." He saw Elena, the only other person near his height, but saw that she was clearly struggling with the situation. She was new, for one thing, and looked a bit out of sorts. He decided to leave her alone. Best not bug the new girl when she looks like she's having trouble. The music was fine, he thought, not that he planned to dance.

"I'm honestly not sure? I think it had something to do with some kind of weapon, or something. I dunno, but after all that crazy stuff that happened, I doubt it was to borrow a cup of milk. You don't create robot duplicates of heroes and villains to distract them all from something mundane, simple, or good. I can't even imagine the kind of investment it must have been in resources to arrange all that. Those were convincing duplicates, with abilities and powers and personalities and all of that, not just 'robots'. So, no, I'm not sure what the Curator's goals were, but I'm pretty confident that we did the right thing by stopping it."- 20 replies

"What if the Curator wanted something that was more insidious? What if one of the fake heroes got their hands on some really important information? I thought of all sorts of ways things could have gone south. Like, the Freedom League Headquarters. What if someone got in there and got something dangerous? What if they assassinated people? I mean...what if the people who were kidnapped were killed instead? She took a deep breath. "Luckily they didn't seem to be the Curator's goal. That turned out to be something completely unrelated to the fake heroes. Almost as if the Curator figured it could sew chaos and get what it wanted while everyone was busy dealing with the robots."- 20 replies

"It honestly scared the heck out of me. I mean, did I help one of the robots? Did I know someone who got replaced? Luckily most of the action was over by the time we got back to town, because we had to process what happened. It's amazing it didn't go so much worse. The hero community really stepped up to stop something that could have been a lot worse."- 20 replies

"I punched robots, mostly. The team split up. Two of us went in to confront the Curator directly while the rest of us cleaned up the robots to make sure they couldn't take out the other two. I can't count how many robots we destroyed. I remember tearing the arm off of one. I don't have the kind of technical skills that would have been helpful there, anyway. I did what I do best, I hit things."- 20 replies

"That the Curator was an old Centurion foe, honestly. I'm not the best student of superhero history. I know, I know, I should know more, but, eh, I was a good student because I'm a hard worker, not because I'm extra smart. Honestly I'm still not sure what was going on that day, what the plan was."- 20 replies

"So that day was absolutely insane for me. I was a member of the teen superhero team Young Freedom. They went through several versions over the years and, as far as I know, the name was retired. Anyway, so we ended up in a universe where the Nazis won on a secret mission. Then we popped back in to this universe and we were pretty much right on top of the north pole. I don't understand regular science that well, let alone whatever caused that!" She took a deep breath. "We had no idea what was going on on Earth, our Earth, at the time. When we got back and started getting communications in, everything was in chaos and we realized we were the only notable heroes from around Freedom City that were in any position to do anything. That's when we spotted the Curator. It was at the Centurion's place up there. We didn't know what it wanted, but we knew we had to stop it. I can't imagine it wanted anything good if it felt it needed to do all that stuff to accomplish it's goals. We broke into it's ship, beat up a ton of robots, and drove it off." She was a bit stressed, and that was obvious. However, everything that happened that day, all the bad stuff, ended up evening out more or less. At least, for her. She took a deep breath. "And that's where I was when the Curator attacked, fighting it with the team I was on."- 20 replies

"Well, I've been a superhero for quite a while now. I practice the martial art of Muay Thai, which started in my ancestral home of Thailand. I'm not from Thailand, but my family is from there. Muay Thai is different from other styles because it involves a lot of knee and elbow strikes, body parts that aren't emphasized in other martial arts styles. I try to keep a lot of stuff under my secret identity otherwise."- 20 replies

"Oh I've managed to get past all that." She said. "It was a while ago and I'm feeling a lot more comfortable with my role in what happened that day. If I wasn't comfortable with this, I wouldn't have agreed. Ask me anything. Other than secret ID stuff, of course, yes, I prefer Crimson Tiger." She smiled. "How's Will doing? We weren't exactly close, but we were somewhat familiar with one another, you know?" She started walking towards the interview area.- 20 replies

"I'm feeling good. I get it if I need a little makeup so I don't, you know, look dead. We're here interviewing Crimson Tiger, a zombie that wandered onto the set. How are the brains?" She laughed. "Yeah I don't wear too much makeup, but I know how tv works with that. I'm a bit stronger, yeah, I keep up my training." She looked around. "So, anything I should know before you start asking questions?"- 20 replies

Mali, in costume, stepped out just in time. When they contacted her for an interview, she was more than willing. That day had been quite a day for her, and, in many ways, had helped change her life. She had spent years getting past the trauma of seeing the Headmaster get killed and watching that Nazi boy die and...well, now she was older, more mature, and in a better place mentally and emotionally. She walked with better certainty, poise and purpose than she had when she was a teenager. She still wasn't fond of 'schmoozing', but she intended to have this conversation as an adult. "Hello. I look forward to this." She said. "I'm fascinated to see what you guys do with this information! I love the show, by the way. Seriously. After finding out that the parents of someone I knew were the hosts, I started watching it and got hooked." She nodded. "I'm Crimson Tiger. Nice to meet you all."- 20 replies

Voltage began the download and monitored it carefully. One advantage to having such a computer like brain was that he could monitor data quickly enough to make sure nothing happened. "Transfer is happening exactly as intended." He said. He sat back and monitored it. He realized that the situation had become very precarious. What, precisely, was going on? His social skills were even rustier than before his isolation, and he wasn't exactly on the ball before that. Perhaps he should study up on social interaction, get a better grasp of it. Ah well, nothing he can do now.
-
Voltage was active on Day of Wrath, AND is an expert on technology. Crimson Tiger was actually there on the assault on the Curator, so if there's a convincing cover story she could participate!
-
Voltage sat down and began to do exactly that, creating two distinct data partitions. He made sure that neither were accessible from within the system, and vice versa. Nothing uploaded would be able to affect anything else on the system. He was actually a bit rusty working with his own hands. He was used to using his powers to do so. "Won't take more than a few minutes." He said. He could have gotten it done in seconds with his powers, but the old fashioned way was a bit slower.
-
Voltage popped back in with the equipment, and Eira. He had given just a quick explanation of what was going to happen, and the two arrived with the electronics. He went back, gently explained what was going to happen, and brought Gonzalez back with him.] "Sorry for the abruptness. I figured you'd rather be fast and startled, than slow. I have the equipment." He looked at the patient. "Do we have the facilities to fabricate a new body for him? I can create a data partition to copy his mind into if needed. What's the situation. How can I help?"
