  1. oops, yeah, it is; yeah, no, not at 13 Failing that, Voltage will make a Computers check to identify what one does in the event of a seizure (I have, myself, researched what to do when someone has a seizure online, so...) 44. It will not be treatment, he'll just be making sure he doesn't hurt himself while he has a seizure. In addition, he will contact emergency services to send someone to help the man.
  2. Voltage is going to roll straight Int as well; 26 instead of Medicine.
  3. Voltage fired off a blast of electricity, trying to hit the screaming idiot. Unfortunately, the timely arrival of a space ship threw his aim off, narrowly missing him. "You're going to stop here." He said, watching the world around him. He hoped that this situation would resolve quickly. He didn't need it to get worse than it already was.
  4. Thomas was working in the back of the shop. Sam was watching the front, taking care of business. Of course, Thomas was also so far ahead of scheduler he was beginning to grow bored. He could take a four hour break and still come back to find himself ahead of schedule. PING He staggered back. Well that was unusual. He walked out front and looked at Sam. "Did you feel that?" He asked. "Feel what?" "Nevermind, probably something to do with my powers. I'm going to go find the source. I'm well ahead of schedule, so you shouldn't need me. I'll be back later." He dashed to the back and changed into his costume. Moments later, Voltage appeared in the air, and began searching for the signal...
  5. Thomas grumbled, of course, it would get attacked. Luckily, he brought his costume with him, everywhere he went. He glanced at the robots and let his mind search the web. It found a video, yes, a weakness to magnetic attacks. They were shielded, but, he may be able to figure out how to break the shielding. That would have to wait, however, for now he decided to distract them from the civilians. Better he, in his protective costume, than an unarmed, unarmored civilian. He rushed away and ducked near the stage, making sure nobody saw him. As soon as he was sure he was out of sight, he changed into his costume. He was in a hurry, so he would have to strain himself to make sure he made it back to the battle. He teleported quickly, transforming into lightning and cascading towards the drones. The silvery electrical current coalesced there, transforming him back into Voltage. An arc of silvery lightning flashed through the air and struck one of the drones squarely in the chest. However, the strain from pushing himself threw off his attack, causing it not even to scratch the drone. Still, he was in the battle, and he could help turn the tide.
  6. Voltage; A Funny Thing happened on the way to the office The inevitable, the Inexorable... Pepper's Ghost Shock and Flaw For services rendered Crimson Tiger Incompatible Hardware Instant Action: Just Add Ninjas GM Shadow of the Evening All GM points go to Voltage
  7. Thomas is going to book over near the stage and hide, assuming the commotion will cover him. Then he'll Quick Change into his costume. Then I'll surge him to get a second move action so he can teleport nearer to the drones and then attack one; 27 Assuming a hit, that's a DC25 TOU save
  8. First thing Thomas is going to do is look at them and see if he can find anything out about them online; 41 He's specifically going to see if he can find any weaknesses or vulnerabilities they have. What I do with the rest of his turn depends on what he can find out online.
  9. "Excuse me, thruster unit?" Thomas said, curious. "I know it's none of my business, but that sounds very..technical. What sort of thruster unit?" He almost slapped his forehead. He wasn't sure who this woman was, but he didn't think talking to her was smart. She already looked angered, last thing he needed was to set her off. Ah, well, it was done, and there was nothing he could do about that. He just braced himself for impact, whatever that meant.
  10. Thomas rolled his eyes. This was certainly unusual. He ran into the office in the back rooms of the building. He changed quickly into his costume. Moments later, Voltage teleported into the air above the man with the Eye of Argon, arms crossed. A cursory examination of the name on the internet revealed everything Voltage needed to know. This was bad, very bad. This sort of thing didn't tend to do good things when it was acquired by people. "I don't know how you got your hands on that, and I don't care. You're putting people at risk, and that means you have to stop." He did not know exactly how powerful this man was, but it didn't matter. Luckily, he knew that the Eye of Argon was going to get the attention of someone, somewhere. He just hoped he'd have help if it proved too tough to put down by himself.
  11. Voltage is going to do two Computers checks with Online Research. The first to identify what the Eye of Argon is, and the second to cross reference the weird yelling guy http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3542845/ a 42 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3542847/ and a 30
  12. Did I roll a natural 20? yes, yes I did
  13. Crimson Tiger watched as ten skilled ninja charged in her direction. One after another, they struck at her, swinging blades with deadly precision. Except, of course, for the fact that she dodged them all. "So, budget cuts on ninjas?" She said as she brought her hands to the correct position. She raised her knee into the air, taking the proper Muay Thai stance. It was her turn. She danced, spinning and delivering kicks, knees, elbows and punches. Her body twisted and moved in many different angles and ways, striking here, and there, and there. Ten ninja advanced to attack, ten stumbled back, clutching heads and abdomens, their bodies bruised and battered.
  14. 4...awesome
  15. Thomas' attention was grabbed immediately. Artificial intelligence? Were they using an advanced AI in a way like this? That sounded like using a rocket launcher to shoot ducks. Thomas heard about this man's death, and his legions of fans that were still around. What if the crowd decided that this was some sort of grievous disrespect? Of course, this could just as easily be deliberate, like maybe a double. Either way, he hoped that an audience full of fans, some of which might be intoxicated, wouldn't declare it a fine time to start damaging property or people. Thomas readied himself. If this turned ugly, he'd put his costume on and do his best to help. He was planning on taking a day off of heroics, but, it looked like circumstance might not let him...
  16. 18 on an attack (taking 10) TOU save DC 21 I mean 23 *slaps forehead*
  17. "Officers, would you rather arrest him? Or Archie Avetti? There's evidence implicating him for attempted murder and illegal experiments. In addition, he's responsible for the giant insect and spider attacks earlier today. This young man is a victim of circumstance and illegal experimentation. In addition, I'm certain that he'll be cooperative if you want his testimony. In fact, I'm willing to bet evidence will suggest his rampage was the product of confusion, pain and anger, either that or heightened aggression due to the forced transformation." He sighed, knowing Sam might get arrested anyway, despite his efforts. He did, however, believe that his brother wouldn't necessarily stay in jail, especially if he were cooperative, which he very well should be. He doubted Sam intended to get involved the way he did.
  18. James nodded, but, inside, Thomas wondered who the woman was, and why she was asking for thruster unit, whatever that was. He wasn't sure exactly what those things were, but they certainly sounded more interesting than this man's sales pitches. He sort of drifted over towards the young woman. "I'll be right in, have to use the restroom, sorry..." He said, waving at his dad. His father, James, being a man who trusted his young son, simply nodded in assent and entered the room with the man. Thomas, however, was far more interested in the girl who wanted 'thruster units' and walked over there as casually as he could.
  19. Voltage pulled himself up. He was fairly certain that his everything hurt. This had gone on far enough. "I'm fairly certain I can't beat him normally..." He admitted as he stood up. "I'll have to take a different approach." Instantly, his superhuman mind reached out to the machine, to it's plans, and downloaded the entire thing. In the time it took him to dust himself off, he'd already found exactly how it worked. Energy wavelengths, set to specific frequencies, a whole plethora of scientific terms, it all boiled down to one thing; what they gave him, Voltage could take away. Like a shot he bolted into the air, reaching his maximum speed in record time. Calculating the precise electrical charge he would need to shrink his brother was hard. He risked seriously injuring him. So, he sighed, whispered a silent apology, and let the bolt fly. Sam, for all of his confusion, began shrinking until he was back to his normal self. Voltage, however, not wanting Sam to reactivate his powers, let another bolt fly and knocking the young man on his back, and knocking him out. "Sorry Sam..." He said with a sigh. He knew he didn't kill him, but he couldn't guarantee Sam wouldn't wake up with a monster head-ache.
  20. Okay, Voltage is going to scan the machine, figure out exactly how the energy works, then stunt a nullify off of his blast Attack Roll! OUCH, natural 20 on the Powers check to counter! has to make a DC31 Will save or Powers check Burning an HP to get a second standard action; 18 If the 18 hits, Supergiantboy needs to make a DC25 TOU save.
  21. First Roll new roll Burning an HP
  22. "Oh, this is my son, Thomas." James Morgan said. "I brought him along because he's my right hand man and does a lot of the repairs and services at our store. I also want him to see how these deals work so that, one day, he can take over the store and run it." Thomas smiled politely and offered to shake the man's hand, but, in truth, he was bored. He knew he had to understand how these things worked, but he didn't enjoy the prospect. So, while he listened to his father, he also surfed the internet off of a nearby connection, reading news articles and the like while they chatted. Sometimes, having a built in internet connection was very useful.
  23. Thomas was not entirely happy. Sure, he wasn't upset, but he was a little bit annoyed that he was in a car, driving to a meeting that he didn't need to be at. His dad wanted him to be there so he could see the business aspect, and the fact that Thomas was apparently a little better with technology than his father. Either way, he decided to make the best of it. He was going to see Dawes' building and business, and get a first hand look at the new stuff Morgan Computers would be carrying in the store. That, at least, would be interesting. Ah, well, maybe he'd have more fun than his initial expectations. He doubted it, though, he severely doubted it.
