Instantly, Thomas turned his head towards the stage and watched with amusement. D-Gray was dead, and this was obviously not D-Gray. He'd heard of this little trick before, and thought it was a neat way to bring the dead musician back for a performance. The music itself really didn't interest him, but he found himself watching the performance. After all, he'd never seen a Pepper's Ghost in action before. He wondered what they were using to produce the illusion. Ah, well, might as well watch, he thought. At least for a few minutes.

Thomas Morgan was, for all intents and purposes, just another guy in the crowd. That's how he liked it. He wore a baggy shirt that was two sizes too big to obscure his scrawny form, and, in a rare moment, a baseball cap that did much to cover his prematurely graying hair. All in all, the effect made him look as inconspicuous as possible. Not, of course, that anyone was going to know who he was. Voltage was slowly making a name for himself, but he, so far, was a relative unknown. Still, he preferred to be cautious. He scanned the art booths with a discerning eye, making a note of artwork he liked as he did so. He spotted a crowd gathered around a particular booth. Through the crowd, he managed to deduce why; someone famous was over there, but at that distance he couldn't quite tell who. He debated going closer to determine exactly who, but, decided against it. After all, he was trying to remain incognito, if someone had a camera and caught him in the frame, that wouldn't do. In addition, he felt it would be obnoxious to simply go crowd around whoever that was. Still, he made a mental note that someone famous was at the festival. If it were another hero, he'd like to know who on the off chance something happened nearby. Knowing what his allies could or couldn't do would make handling emergencies or sudden attacks that much easier.

Got an 18 Missed by 1! 9...awesome 13...

I would like Voltage to visit other worlds, so my hat is in the ring.
-
I'm glad to hear it guys, because, well, you guys have to plan meeting threads out First. You have to pick someone your character has yet to meet, and arrange a thread. We can't go into this blind, we have to have some sort of structure.

"I think I'll trust my own powers..." Voltage said, lifting slightly off of the ground. "The facility is quite old, and I don't trust that ladder much. If anyone else has the same distrust I do, say the word and I will teleport one of you at a time down." He did not trust this place, something didn't feel right. Still, he didn't want this to turn into a massive ninja base. Ninjas were like termites. Better get rid of them before they tear the whole place down.

Alright, I want to get this team off the ground. I am not making accusations, but I want it to actually happen before months pass. So, with that said, here's how it's going to work; 1) we're going to start building the team very, very soon, like, within a week of this post. 2) If you are unavailable, well, you may not end up on the first roster. 3) If we've already told you you can join, you can join. We just may end up not including you in the team establishment thread. You may have to join later.

Like a flash, the Crimson Tiger bolted forward. Her target was right in front of her. This would be a simple, straightforward hit. She leaped into the air and extended her knee, waiting for the moment she connected. That moment, unfortunately, never came. She passed by him, missing him by mere inches. She rolled onto the ground and moved away from him, standing back up and balling up her fists. This was not the best way to start her first session in the Doom Room. She needed to treat this like it were real.

GM Guy's head darted back and forth, glancing from foe to foe. He chuckled and cracked his knuckles. "You know you will lose." He said, flatly, to the crowd of vampires. "I am stronger than you, faster than you, and far older and more powerful." He turned around and delivered a quick and brutal kick to the side of one of them. The vampire flew through the air, skidded along the ground, and collapsed, no longer moving. "See? It is as I said."

13! hey, at least he woke up fairly quickly Okay, going to ask these questions now to get it out of the way; What sort of condition is the machine in? Is it usable? Can Voltage use his mental quickness to reverse engineer the machine? Can Voltage use his powers like so? Stunt for an AP off of his electricity Nullify Powers (Supergiantboy's powers, exclusively) in order to turn off the growth? Or can he take the machine, set it to reverse, and blast it wit him again? In other words; how can Voltage shut down Supergiantboy's powers?

17, not bad

"I have to stop him..."In a desperate gamble, Voltage unleashed a blast of electric energy as hard as he could, and it did nothing. The blast didn't even look like it worked at all. "No..." He said, lowering his head. He tried his best, fired the most power he could, and it didn't do anything. His mind raced. There had to be another solution. There just had to be...how was he supposed to stop him? He couldn't just fight him, that wasn't going to work. He'd have to try something else...

Alright, to get this ball rolling, I want people to start brainstorming character meeting ideas. Find someone your character has yet to meet, and propose an idea to them. Blue Rose; I had an idea wherein Stormbreaker and Voltage would end up tracking one of Green's technology theft operations, independently, and then jointly. I have to wait for a thread to free up, but what do you think?

GM The man hardly had time to react as he flipped onto his back. He growled up at the Penitent and, with a sudden flair, twirled around and jumped backward. He backed away from his foe and adjusted his clothing. "I was told that a hero was interfering with our little...ritual. No matter, you may have stopped it this time, but we will do it another night. You, however, will be dead." He crossed his arms and backed away into the shadows. "Get him." Was all he said as he backed into the shadows. The air filled with the sound of rushing wind as five vampires leaped into the air all at once. Guy, with his enhanced vampiric reflexes, leaped into the air with surprising speed. Unfortunately, his target sidestepped his initial strike. One of the vampires rushed at the Penitent, fist clenched. He brought his hand across the Penitent's face, and then stepped back a moment in horror. As strong as he was, the mighty Penitent was tougher.

"Well, let's just say I'm good in a scrap." Crimson Tiger said with a grin. "I can also sneak if that's what we're doing. I mean, it wouldn't be smart to just charge in blindly." She looked at Blodeuwedd's communication devices and nodded. "I don't bring my phone on missions, so that would really come in handy." Well, it seemed as though she wasn't alone in this particular situation. That was always good. Allies would be a major help in the event that she got caught unawares by villains. Glow and Blodeuwedd definitely looked like they could handle themselves should the situation arise. That, and she always liked meeting new friends.
