West Gables Housing Unit, North End After the holiday's thing were settling back to normal at school, thanks to so many heroes around Freedom kept running despite the cold weather. And whilst some liked the dark and gloomy weather many in the House had decided they need do something to brighten up the winter and raise some money for those struggling in this weather. So after a quite enthusiastic night of discussion, it was decided to do a fashion show to show off some of the Colleges best designers. The show had been going stunningly well and many of the tickets had already been sold. Casey was in her room one dark and wintery morning when there was a knock on the door and Lola stuck her head around the door, not even waiting for a response. "There a woman in the Common Room to see you, says you know her." from the sound of this mysterious stranger had caught Lola attention.

"We always made sure that those who may one day decide war were those who didn't want to fight, the problem with anything is once you know how to do something it's your solution. Blessed are the peacemakers as they say." She dug into her pudding for a while before adding "It sounds like a wonderful idea and I wish it every luck, but..." she paused and smiled before adding "What's that phrase It's not you, it's me? I want to experience this world and discover my place in it, I want to know if I worth joining such a thing. I may still decide that I want nothing of this world and return to my home never to return."

I think it was these threads from two whole years ago! Freedom League Auxiliary Freedom League lineup and role Not that we obviously have to take them as a given, especially as we've lot a few over that time , but worth bearing in mind.

I think couple of people were discussed for Aux, including maybe Klara, but nothing was really decided.

"At least when my god came demanding sacrifice they could be bargained with instead of a human they might accept an animal or even fruit, they also really liked our alcohol, and mostly they accepted the sick and dying. that's why we knew that the aliens weren't god, they actually asked us nicely!" Among other things those aliens, the now gone mArttik Avata, taught her the art of warfare and how sometimes you needed to sacrifice people to win a battle. Still, it didn't mean she had to like it. "Okay so while they're busy with all this why don't we use the time constructively?"

Sitara had heard much worse than that in her time so didn't take any insults personally, instead focusing on the mission at hand though she couldn't help but adding a tiny comment first. "Trust me I've gotten my hand more than dirty through the centuries when we have the time I'll buy you a drink and tell you some tales of the more bloodier conflicts of the mArttik Avata/Amitra wars." Her piece said she listened to the rest of the briefing considering the options as they talked. When he was done she mused to the rest of them. "Any Praetorian ship would be too obvious, so I guess we'll be taking you. And you ship your rules, so how do you want to approach this?"

With a totally indulgent flourish Blodeuwedd sheathed Dyrnwyn, before picking up the stone and throwing it up into the air and catching it. "Well, we know why they set a guarding here." Blodeuwedd mused in her soft Welsh-accented voice "But the real questions is why is this all here in the first place? If you have any ideas then I'm more than happy to listen to your theories." Whilst she had some training in the occult arts she was at heart a warrior, and so was more than happy to defer to the real experts.

Sitara did her final series of calculations before turning to the others, the options didn't look good right now. "This little ship hasn't got the speed we need right now, and I really don't want to cut things down to the last minutes. I might be able to squeeze more speed or a micro-jump, but it going to take time and we haven't got that luxury right now. If any of you has quicker options to get us to the comet I suggest you use them right now." She deployed her armour, now seemed a good time to ready it as any. It wasn't as fast as many of the others so it wasn't much better than the ship but it could be useful.

At his recommendation, Klara takes a few minutes to examine the dessert options and chooses something suitably indulgent. It also gave her time to consider Mr Murk's comments. "All of my family are warriors since my Great Grandmother, and possibly before though I don't know sure, it's all that we've trained to do. Whilst the city hasn't been threatened in generations it's a job we've taken very seriously." She pondered for a few second before adding. "What the saying they have when all you have is a hammer? I'm not sure you idealistic organisation has the need for a warrior"

Sitara stood back arms folded and watched the other go to work, a thin smile playing on her lips at their efforts. Right now she couldn't add anything, well almost nothing. "We have methods of our own to analyse such things so if you can provide us with the raw data that would be a great help." Whilst not always the most diplomatic, she often let others handle such things, she'd been around the universe long enough to learn a trick or two. "Let me assure you we're here to help your investigation, not take over completely. We'll happily keep you updated at all times and if you wish someone to tag along that's perfectly acceptable."

"My homeland has had centuries of experience of near immortality and whilst we love as deeply as anyone else, though much more enlightened than the outside world. In all that time we've had no problems of anti-social people. I'm proud of all of our achievements, apart from the unwillingness to help the world at large." She chews on the, as advertised, excellent food for a few moments before adding. "Though this world does have a way of getting under you skin, I guess it's much easier to be an angel in paradise!"

Emerald Spider was quiet for a few minutes as she took in the whole scene, the childhood stories of the horrors within this place weren't far off the mark it seemed. She knew magic existed, she was friends with a sorcerer after all, but the engineer in her rebelled against the impossible architecture. Instead, she decided to focus on something she could get their head around and dropped down in front of the computer. "Let me see if I can get this to tell me something about what's going on shall we."

Sitara did a couple of rough and ready calculation in her head as she pushed the ship towards the comet at its best speed. She'd like to run a few simulations to be sure but she was happy with her initial calculations. "If we get to the comet in good time we should be able to deflect it pretty easily. if absolutely necessarily I can jury rig the Grav-generators to help or even in a absolute emergency send it into hyperspace. I'm afraid you might not get you deposit back on this ship in those cases unfortunately."

Sitara wasn't in the local tavern for once, though she'd scouted the area out if needed later, instead, she stood in the shadow of one of the buildings overlooking the unfolded scene. "Actually the pubs a terrible place to gather intel on such things. And I make a point to avoid politics, religion or the local sports of choice unless I'm looking tom start a fight."" any humour quickly drained away as she turned to more serious things. "Last time I was in these parts I'm sure they were still getting the hand of farming. The name doesn't recall anything from that time so it might be newer than that?" she watched grimly for a few seconds before adding. "Are we really going to let them go through with all this? A few quick stun blasts and we can be in and out before they even know whats happening."

Sitara had traveller untold parsec's in the millennia of her life and had seen many different kinds of aliens in her time, some that were rare then and now populous and others now lost to the sands of time. It might not be as accurate as a database but it was still useful at times. Something about the aliens seemed to tug at the edge if her memories, but it had taken some time to figure out the missing connection. She leaned in to whisper into Ditra's ear what she had realised. "Most of these species come from the same region of space. If that's the case then something big must have happened in the area. Unfortately I can't tell you if it was recent or centuries agom been quite a while since I've been out in this region of space."

The stories go that Navagatrixi were built long ago in most culture pre-history by an unknown race, possibly the Preservers. They were sent throughout the multiverse to be guides and explores but were shut down due to unknown reasons, though occasional tales come up that one or two still survive.

For a DC 10 knowledge (Popular Culture) or (Galactic Lore) to recognise the gynoid as being similar in design as the Navagatrix (original Hero High, p 112 I can provide more if either of you has no access to the book). For ease I'm going to often refer to the ship as Seeker, the ships AI (who you haven't met yet) as Harmony and the android as Sophie (feel free to have Solar suggest this TK)

GM Post The white corridor swept in a gentle curve toward a similarly plain white ovoid room, if the internal dimension were fixed they were at the front of the ship under the nose shield. Near the middle of the room was a feminine looking android, right down to realistic looking raven black hair, cased in a similar white to the surrounding ship. She looked at them with green eyes but did not speak or communicate in any detectable way. Instead, the room filled with a high-resolution hologram showing real-time scans of the three of them in turn. Then apparently she had made a discussion and the hologram showed the Earth and around them was a multitude of screens floating around the planet showing innumerable broadcasts from the planet, as they watched the screens got less and the images black and white until finally there were none at all. This was apparently enough as the gynoid finally spoke in clipped English tones. "Welcome we are the Seeker of Perpetual Harmony."

Emerald Spider gave a little sigh, saving people was easily sometimes the dealing with people was hard. But there were her friends, old and new, and she had to try her best to help them out. "Mars just wants a symbol to parade about and show that he as a pet meta, I could be wrong but he's going to limit what you can and can't do as a hero." she paused and hoped that she wasn't making any sort of false promises "And despite a few mistakes that happened back in the day Archetech seems to be on the level, and we can always talk it out with Citizen, I'm sure he can pledge you case to the boss straight away."

Cathy couldn't help but get that little bit closer to Phae a look of concern on her face. "If our friends are in trouble then we need to do something to try and help. If there a cost..." Whilst she was happy with her life she'd been prepared to sacrifice her life before and she was willing to do it again if necessary. "I know you'll move hell, possibly literally, and high water to get me back safely! I believe in you fully and always." She gently touched Phae's hand and managed a weak reassuring smile. -
Whilst Sitara could easily travel through space she always enjoyed being behind the controls of a starship, especially one that was as well maintained as the Praetorians craft. Which was of cause because Sitara always did it herself, spending hours keeping them in good working order. Even if she spent a lot of time as a glorified taxi service, still there was always much to do once they'd reached their destination. "We're always happy to help wherever we can Counselor, the strange and unusual is our primary focus." she smiled as she spoke, she really did enjoy a real mystery it had kept her wandering the universe for so long.

"Evil might be too strong a word but I've met men like that, shook him by the hand ad allowed them to parade me around as a Peoples Hero. If I had known what he had done I would probably have ended his life there and then!" she sipped her drink to calm herself, even now it was obviously a raw wound. "I thought the Soviets would be better than most, what with it's principles in theory being similar to my home. Most of the people are apart from a few bad eggs, but those eggs tend to be the ones in charge. But I guess I'm getting off track again!she managed a chuck before continuing "If an immortal became a tyrant like that I would do all that I could to stop them, maybe even kill them if possible. But then I guess it comes down to Quis cutodiet ipsos custodes?"

"Philosophy huh! I was always more of a warrior than a scholar but I try my best." she managed a quick smile before becoming more serious "I have not been in this world long but I have seen many people during the war. Some people can be ninety and never have lived whilst someone of eighteen might have lived a full life. Though I admit that might be due to the way that war tends to accelerate such thing. But in the moment I wouldn't spend the time to judge their quality of life I would try to save those that I could and worry about it later."
