GM Post As the crocodiles reached the point where the beach began to slope up to the shore they should have smoothly carried on towards the shore. Instead, the heads began to rise slightly from the water and there was a hint of powerful shoulders beneath that toothed maw. These were obviously no normal beasts. Some on the beach were beginning to notice as well, pointing and getting out camera phones at the strange phenomena. No one seemed particularly bothered yet, after all, there were a couple of superheroes to deal with the issue.

Lucy thought for a moment before adding "The 1920's obviously, I never thought that I'd live long enough to have to make the distinction!" But her attention was drawn to the material used for producing a paper, she might have one been a Soldier but now she was committed to be a reporter. That done she turned around to the holo-image, really she should lave this to the diplomats, but that had never been her way. Whilst the rest of the room was focused on the antics of Aquaria a less obvious or no less remarkable woman slipped into the gathering. Lucy wasn't technically magical per se, but she figured that being an undead must count in some way. With sunglasses covering her coal black eyes apart from her very pale skin, she looked fairly normal just a well-dressed, if little old fashioned, businesswoman. Daphne did follow the other down straight away, the others were just as capable as herself if not more so with there varies experiences. Instead, she concentrated, making sure to keep the psychic link open for the others, as she expanded her mental senses to try and get a feeling of the locations of everyone in the nearby area, including any possible foes that might be hiding away. Once she was happy that she'd prepared herself mentally she began to float down from the position she taken to see if she could again help them with what they had found out.

Kamala carefully monitored the fall from her HUDS noting with some pride how the gravitonic field deflects's their counterattacks, though she'd have one hell of a bruise in the morning. At the last minute, she engaged the field to stop her fall flipping up into an upright position, as she did she put one hand on her Scarab's Bite to steady it as she sent a burst of sonics towards one of the nearest thieves. It wasn't quite how she'd planned things but it was quite a good test of the suit's systems as she pushed them to there limits.

Whilst Dancia had been recovering she'd often wondered if she would miss her powers if they did return, and more often than not she'd convinced herself that she was okay without them. But really Dancia had to admit that she'd missed time like this when she really got to let loose with everything she had without a chance of harming anyone. "Are you ready for this? After checking that her path was clear Emerald Spider lowered herself slowly down behind the giant, her legs tucked under her for a better balance. As she dropped down she kept her engineer eye out for an obvious weak point where she could free the giant from his, or she guessed it could be her, bonds. She's worry about getting them out once they were free to move away from the magma. At the midpoint she attached herself to the back of the giant's restraints, taking stock of what she'd discovered to try and work on her possible plan.

As bad as the situation was Sitara couldn't help but feel some relief at having a chance to fly the Kavaca again. With Amara being buried up to her neck with politics Sitara had been handling a lot of the everyday business of the Praetorians, and as much as liked her fellow warriors she was more than happy to get away from CoVic for a little while. "We'll be coming into land soon, is everyone okay back there?" Not being part of the Delaztri Empire she hadn't been out to this region of space for quite some time, but she had passed this way before joining the Praetorians but a lot must have changed in the intervening thousands of years. She was curious how things have changed over the intervening time.

Cathy generally had a good sense when trouble was about, and something right now seemed a little off, but any inkling of such quickly evaporated when Phae offered a hand to go dance. She wasn't the most capable of dancers moving a little clumsy as she started, but as she got into the rhythm of the song she just let go and began to really get into her dance. And a tiny bit of her kept telling herself that something wasn't quite right, but she was having far too much fun for it to worry about it too much.

Lucy smiled and gently sipped the drink that could probably strip paint. "I've known about him for a while, remember I have vampire in my ancestry. We kind of politely ignore the other existence really, though he seems the decent sort. As long as his subject behaves in the West End I leave them alone and concentrate on the bad sort that causes trouble in Freedom. So I guess we're in the same business now!" she gave one of her friendly smiles. "Things have been quiet lawyer wise so I had my assistant do a little digging for you, Bedlams a nasty little place, and has been since almost back in my day." there was a note of concern in Lucy's voice as she spoke about Bedlam.

"Well that could have gone much worse!" she said to herself, drowning her drink and gesturing for another. Not that it really had that much effect on her really, it was mostly for show. Agnus remembered what she was like as a teenager, and hundred of lives before the word was even invented, and she wouldn't have listened to herself back then either. Still, the kid had a good head on her shoulders and should do alright. Still, she'd passed on Connie's details to a few people in the industry and see if she could help things along a little. The teen might not want to talk to her right now, or ever really, but at least she could still keep an eye on Connie. One advantage of having a secret identity really.
