  1. "Well, this looks interesting, obviously not been anyone here for a boy. Do you know if it's rented or owned? I assume you know something about who went missing." How they were going to deal with this was something that Dancia had been worried about as well, she wasn't adverse to breaking in if it necessary. But she'd like to avoid it if necessary, and helpful she had a few extra tools that might help them. "Hang on a second let me think about this, maybe we'll get lucky." With a little concentration, she opened her senses, listening for any sounds inside the building whilst her x-ray vision allowed her to look through the walls into the place. She was honestly a little nervous if this would work, she was a little out of practice.
  2. Whilst this might be old hat to Citizen this was all still new to Emerald Spider and voices in her head, those from outside at least, very the latest surprise for her to add to the list. "I'll skip on the horrible threats of torture, for now, how about a nice coffee and a chat instead?” She wasn't waiting around however as she talked she made her way to the vent she'd spotted, working out in her head the perfect moment to dart inside and enter the corporate building. Now they'd find out if their impromptu comms would work inside the building.
  3. Okay Stun Attack on our Kidnapper Attack Roll: 1d20+10 19, if that hits a DC 26 Toughness save.
  4. Sitara was just out for a quiet night of drinking and intel gathering not dealing with a rather blatant kidnapping. So without much thought or effort, she grabbed one of her cylinder like blasters and fired off a shot from the hip. <"Please don't make this more complicated than it should be."> Galstandard seemed the best option for now, her tone should convey everything that needed to be said And she had to admit yeah perhaps this was just as fun as a night drinking, time would tell like always.
  5. It was slightly... irksome, that as this was on spec job she really couldn't claim anything yet on expenses. And boy did she not need to spend any real money right now, it didn't help that she had spent so long on hiatus. She settled on a reasonably priced pastry and a coffee and settled down to wait for a little. "Well with prices like this I hope that the story is really worth it." a smile suggested she wasn't completely serious "Next time I get to choose the meeting place, I know a number of dives suitable for meetings.”
  6. GM Post "Wadda you want, Fireworks?" Zee sounded slightly miffed at their underwhelming reaction to the lifts arrival "If it helps very complicated metaphysical things are happening underneath this all." Merge, or a Merge the first time she'd done that here, gently led Zee to one side promising to listen to her explanations. The fact that she'd been so quiet whilst at the Hotel suggested how much of a strain this must be. "This is our stop, we can't take the elevator back down to Earth. And remember we're half a world away from them so it might be worth arranging something for when they arrive."
  7. Klara's Notice: 1d20+10 27
  8. With so many trips to and from Freedom City, all thanks to the Ministry, she was pretty used to the experience of teleportation. And that wasn't the only time in her long life that used teleportation of various types. So whilst she wasn't expecting the sudden blue flash Klara wasn't completely disorientated by the sudden arrival in City, though it's empty condition was fairly irksome. “Well, this is an unusual way to start the day. Let's go see if we can find someone." She looked to the skyline to try and figure out where she was in the city, aiming to find even the Embassy or the League building, both good places to try and find out any useful information.
  9. Technically Dancia had connections to AEGIS due to the League, but she wasn't sure if the channels were still open after what had happened. Not that she'd expect them to tell her anything, they tended to play things close to their chests. That really left investigative journalism, which was luckily something she had a few skills at hand. "You really need to see the hoops that we have to jump through to keep things on the level to get printed, maybe if this story is pans out we'll see what we can do!" she always enjoyed helping other heroes out however she can. She thought through the options that they could follow before adding. "Let's go take a look at the place, but no B&E unless absolutely necessary, you'd be surprised how good an eye I have for such things."
  10. It wasn't that Cathy didn't get fashion, they had entertainment even in the wilds of the Shetland Islands, it was just that practically tended to win out over looking fashionable. So Raina over the top reaction to Fred's potential fashion disaster made her smile, though she mostly managed to hide it behind a convenient cushion she was holding. And Fred was, rightly so, taking up all the attention right now. "Aye very well indeed. So apart from trying to give Raina a heart attack why have you chosen to visit us?"
  11. Now you've got me wondering which of our impromptu A-Team is which But yeah Miss Grue is always a joy for me to write, so I'm down for this!
  12. I'd like to put forward the teeny, tiny giant lady that will be Voin Zhenshchina.
  13. I'm kind of spoilt for choice but I'd like to volunteer Miss Grue, Merge Trois or if you willing to stretch to PL 12 Triakosia.
  14. Merge got up and began to leave the office, only to pause at the doorway and looked around with a look of "fine then". At times she seemed a like a proper grown up, other times just unbridled ID. And this was apparently better than she had been before. “Thank you for this opportunity, we're going to try our best to do the best we can." Luckily for she had Nicki to balance things out, who seemed to have a much more serious head on her shoulder. Sort of like one person stretched into two, or more, people at a time.
  15. If Merge had one flaw, and truth be told she had quite a few, she was always a curious person. Many would call her nosy, including herself on a good day. She'd tried resisting for a little while busying herself with work, and the mutual ability Gretchen had to irk her, but eventually, she caved having to know what was going down. She plonked herself onto the counter opposite Gretchen, deliberately angling herself so she couldn't see the screen she didn't want to antagonize the person she was trying to get information from. "So do you know anything about the new guy? Is he cute?" her voice was at it's most syrupy sweet.
  16. GM Post Almost as soon Casey asked Possie took a few steps back, and as she did the frame of reference seemed to recede as she did, allowing Casey the rare "honor" of knowing what muscles made up a frown. Finally, she was back to her normal appearance, with a worried frown on her face. She gestured to try and get the attention of the Nurse, though Casey couldn't see if Possie had got her attention, seeming taking control of things despite the weirdness of the situation. Though this was Claremont after all! “What wrong? Is something happening? It's okay I'm staying here for you."
  17. Emerald Spider had sat on the wall, which might have been uncomfortable if not for the Spdr Rig, watching as Faster Pussy Cat had been led away. Partly to keep out of everyone's way and party to be ready in case the two villains caused trouble. Once everything settled down she gently bounced down to sit on top of a car nearby. “I don't think it would help if I turn up in court, it might make things worse all things considered." she left any speculation about why at just those hints. “In case you didn't know I'm Emerald Spider." she offered her hand “Do you want to grab a coffee and compare notes on what happened her? I have a craving for marshmallow for some reason!"
  18. Agnus was more than use to Asad by now and didn't really miss a beat as she replied. “VIP, Greenroom call it what you will its still a place where people gather to have drinks, alcoholic or not, and chat among themselves." she kept her tone light, this was all idle banter after all. She was trying mostly to keep out of their way to allow them to converse and general try and form a relationship, hopefully, a good one despite all the years they missed. She'd lived enough lives with such bittersweet meetings much like this, some good and some really bad.
  19. Dancia hadn't heard of such a thing, but she had been out of the country for several months, not that could have told from her constant blogging. Not that she doubt anything like that would happen in somewhere like Freedom City. "I assume you have sources that I can take a look at? And I'd like to avoid too much breaking and entering if we can help it, I have to be able to quote sources and all that. And the owner of the Ledger is a stickler for keeping things honest." And besides she was thinking more about what the legacy of Centurion meant, and that included behaving in a certain way.
  20. In a position like Dancia's, still being a junior reporter, it paid to keep track of all forms of social media. And whilst that including the newest means of telling the news it also included the oldest methods. "Those kind of papers turn up all the time normally those with some message to sell, like X villain is also the hero Y and various other conspiracies." she took a quick look at the menu, wondering if she could claim this one as expenses "So I'm guessing that means that this one is of the special kind? That means there's a story here for both of us, so what's the deal and how we're going to split the lead on this one? I mean I’ve read you blogs it’s good, so good that I should be worried!" she gave a relaxed smile, she wasn't one to claim the big story over the lead from another.
  21. Cathy was caught a little by surprise by the sudden change in Fred's hairstyle, something you couldn't tell with inferred, and without really thinking said the first thing that came into her head. "It's, it's very short." But she recovered fairly quickly as her brain caught up with her mouth. "It looks really good on you though, I've been thinking about changing my hairstyle as well." Her hair tending to clump into dreadlocks when she went into ice form, which she though look good, but she'd been unable to get her fine white hair to do it in her "normal" form.
  22. Whilst Cathy was very much in love with her girlfriend, she still preferred to have a space of her very own, even if it was one corner of a shared room. And she doubted few would put up with her condition, which was a lot better than when she started Claremont, as well as Raina. You could tell that she was in her room as the area around the room was a wee bit chilly, though not covered in a thin frost as it had when she'd first arrived. Right now she was sat on her bed catching up on her homework, all her books spread out in a chaotic yet somehow organized manner that only Cathy could really understand. As normally she wore one of her standard knitted jumpers this one white with a giant eye across the middle. She just happened to glance up at the door so was able to see Fred just before she knocked on the door. "Looks like we have a visitor."
  23. Luckily for them, all Emerald Spider was more than just a pretty face, and whilst computers weren’t her specialty she was pretty skilled in such things. “Yes I don’t think we need for you to have all any of this...” with a few keystrokes she canceled the download from continuing “Or any of these, they aren’t yours after all.” a few more and the already downloaded files were deleted, hopefully permanently. To give her a little warning not to try anything else right now she left a picture of Sekhmet, it seemed appropriate considering. “Shall we try to find out exactly what this is all about?”
  24. Luckily for Peri the defenses were designed for someone trying to break in from the ground, and whilst she might not be able to fly she was still fairly capable in the air. So well above the camera’s she sat on the M and watched and listened to the Sharl’s meet. Luckily between them, they’d managed to work up some communications so they could keep in touch. “You’ll let me know if this is turning bad I’m afraid I don’t speak oegug-in iyagi.” a private joke but it made She then looked around for some way to get into the building without tripping off any of their security, this was their specialty after all!
  25. This really wasn't Dancia's scene, but it was a pleasant enough place and even if the whole thing was a bust she could always write a blog piece on a place she would have been unlikely to get an invite. She'd didn't had time to get changed, well okay she hadn't had anything suitable wear at home, but she was still well dressed from what she normally wore at the office. This and her general confidence made it look like she belonged to a place like this. With a friendly smile at Bonfire, she slid into the offered chair. "I'd suggest the beginning, I've heard it's a very good place to begin!"
