  1. I did the roll for you already Ari, did you go and forget about me
  2. “It’s a little reminder of somewhere I’ve been recently, a few more of these and I’ll might tell you the story.” she didn’t plan on telling him to much , it didn’t help to become a legend in you own drinking establishments. “You know most planet’s have legends of vampire somewhere, I heard a theory from some Lor that it was a memory of a massive galactic war involving massive space vampires. Mass of teeth and curls and could drink like no ones, it was an interesting night that one.” Her instinct made her scan the room when they heard the explosion, how people responded to such things could be interesting and maybe a suggestion of some sort of guilt. Technically she was off duty but this could be something more interesting that exchanging fairy tales. She down her drink and gave the bartender a smile “I’ve got to go take a look at what's happened, keep my spot I’ll be back soon.” She followed the others out, though not close enough to attract too much attention from the others she tagged as trouble.
  3. “Beats me but I guess we don’t have to worry about Faster Pussycat unless she eats her out, and that costume doesn’t have that much give in it!” she couldn’t help but smirk at the situation, this was her new normality now. She leaped from the gantry with an acrobatic twist and landed gracefully and softly on the floor before taking a look at what the laptop is doing. Computers weren’t really her main focus but she knew enough to understand what they were doing, and maybe a little programming... “Let’s take a look at what this is doing, I’m not just a pretty face you know.”
  4. The Traveller's Sense Motive: 1d20+10 13 or Notice: 1d20+5 19. I know which one I'd choose
  5. Whilst Nicki was all stoic and serious on the outside she was suppressing a grin on the outside. The poor lad didn’t know what had just hit him, still it was good practice for dealing with the full on nature that was Merge. “And finally have fun and don’t even think of breaking her heart, it will not go... well!” will a gentle tap on the arm she returned to her seat to enjoy her coffee. Merge however had none of Nicki’s reserve and had a broad grin on her face “Well this is going to be fun!” her smile faded and she added, with some apparent mental prodding “Obviously if you think such things are inappropriate I can keep thing strictly professional.”
  6. “Don’t worry there will enough non-alcoholic drinks for everyone, a lot of people back there are recovering alcoholics or worse.” Agnus was not a malicious woman, well most of the time, and she bore no ill will to anyone. She remembered being a parent enough time to understand the extent a mother would go. She looked over at Amatullah and offered her what she hoped was a friendly smile. “You are of cause welcome to join us as well, after all this is a matter of family now.” she resisted, very hard, the urge to sound sarcastic. This was after all a genuine olive branch of an offer.
  7. Unlike her two contemporaries Klara was in no way reserved in her behaviour, and gave both her hosts large friendly hugs. She offered her coat and cheap but pleasant bottle of wine to give Erik a moment to recover. “What gave it away?” she gave a broad grin “Thank you for inviting me into you home, you have a beautiful place here.” unexpectedly she didn’t have a particularly strong accent, rather she spoke in a measured tone She followed her host to the living room and tried to get herself comfortable, most furniture really wasn’t designed for someone of her size. Though she could endure much worse without much discomfort. “It does not feel like it is yet time for Vodka. Tea will be fine for now thank you.”
  8. GM Post Valeria stepped out of her hiding place, still looking a little sheepish and not looking Sakurako in the eye. She was a good kid but maybe partly that was because she looked so guilty if she’d did anything wrong. She took a deep breath and began to explain her project for the expo, now she did look at Sakurako and her eye’s lit up and she began to talk. It was a little difficult to understand, not obviously the theoretical details for a genius, as the excited Valeria rattled through the project dropping Spanish phrases in her a rapid stream of consciousness explanation. But as she got towards the end something became apparent, at least to Sakurako’s technical bent, she couldn’t manage to generate the power necessary. It didn’t take a genius to work out how she planned to solve this problem tonight...
  9. GM Post Looking up at the ceiling Casey’s mind went a wandering for just a minute, even through the still stabbing pain in her head. For a moment the ceiling seemed almost transparent and she could make out a hazy image of the furniture in the room, before the ceiling looking very much solid again. It seemed almost like she’d imagine it, even though hallucinations weren’t normal in migraines, but thinking she knew that room and everything looked in it’s rightful place. Even from below. It was easy to panic when you head felt like it could split open, but stranger things could happen when you a superhero. Even one in training.
  10. GM Post Al-Kazar’s eye lit up at the mention of his great granddaughter, but quickly turned his attention back to the thing who seemed... Pleased? “Well that’s good this place should be in resonance with those with me blood. Take this ring...” he held up his hand showing rather plain gold ring, not dissimilar to Tolkien's One Ring and maybe just as mysterious “Take it to the elevators and get her to imagine them repaired, as a mindscape it that easy as long as the place is willing to help. And I think we’d know if it didn’t like any of you.” he gently touched Gretchin with his hand “One important thing is to make sure that she doesn’t touch me in anyway, it’s not the only thing that will love a blood resonance.” he looked over at his fellow capture “And one final thing, a personal request and nothing more. This ring is a family heirloom passed down from generation to generation when they got married. If you two ever decide to go onto the next step please consider carrying on the tradtion.” he gave a bemused smile and tapped the side of his head “Don’t looked surprised we’re in a mindlink here. And you weren’t the first generation to invent such things... Ρ᾽οδοπτήχεισ και ἐλικώπιδεσ καὶ καλλιπάρῃοι καὶ μειλιχοφωνοι.”
  11. Sitara gave a little smile, and inwardly a little smile of relief, some of the Praetorians had considered the law the most important things. She’d seen enough conflicts that she knew that sometime you needed to circumvent the rules to save people. It was a little sad that most of those Praetorians had been lost to time, and not all because of such attitudes. And she had to admit whilst she’d had a few run in with the Lor navy she generally wanted to help those people. “Thank you all! And don’t worry the main focus here is saving the Lor, anything else is secondary, not that I have to remind you of that.” she paused to allow this to sink in, she might not volunteer but she knew how to lead sophonts “I have a small craft, the PravaasaH, ready to go right now. She’s not as good as the Praetorian craft but she got it where it counts. Oh and one more thing Tra’Nor...” She scooped up the little grey skinned girl and deposited her in the Lor’s arms “I need you to baby sit for a few hours, don’t worry she’s fairly well behaved and can only lift a couple of tons. It’s almost Asa’s nap time anyway.” she gently gave the girl a tap on the nose making Asa give a tinkling laugh “Do you need to gather any equipment or our we ready to go?”
  12. Sitara lowed to find little dives like this. Maybe it was her simple upbringing all those centuries ago but she felt more comfortable among the simple working folk. In fact she’d slipped out of a rather stuffy do you come down here, she Moon-Moth had agreed to babysit for the night and she knew Paradigm did even if she did roll her eyes at Sitara slipping out of the party. Cause it was also a good place to pick up those tales and rumors that could be useful to the Praetorians as well. She slipped into a much more comfortable jumpsuit that despite the self cleaning nanites was still dirty from today’s maintenance on the Aquilia craft, helping her fit in with the general clientele of the bar, it wasn’t the type of place for expensive Lor dresses or (ugh) Dress Uniforms. Sliding up to the bar she took a seat and caught the barkeeps attention, she been here a few times and had gotten to know quite a few that worked here “Do you still have some of that Rodnak Fire Nectar in stock?” she’d picked up a taste for the stuff when she’d spent some time out there retired.
  13. I know you said two but could you squeeze The Traveller into the mix?
  14. Ironically Emerald Spider still couldn’t get use to flying under someone else's power, swinging miles above the sidewalk was fine when under her own power was fine however. Even she could appreciate the irony of the whole situation. “No it’s fine, beats having to use the bridge at this time of day.” Emerald Spider took a few moments to calm herself as she processed the information from Citizen. She’d looked into most of the tech companies when she’d left University and Ming Xi Vision was one of those. Though there focus hadn’t fitted her ideals of helping people and she’d never followed it further. “Yeah they specialise in almost unbeatable security systems. It’s been heavily implied that they get some of their research from Alien technology.” she paused as she realised that might be insulting to Citizen, definitely something she could understand unfortunately “Sorry non-Terrestrial technology.”

  17. GM Post The phantoms seemed to heed the words and stopped in there progress, seemingly fading back into the general scenery. Whatever she was she obviously had at least some patience, which she must have seeing as they’d both been here and probably active for all this time. “Apparently she considers you friends enough of a threat to allow us a little time. So why don’t you pull up a chair and try some of this excellent wine that I Imagined up.” he filled up an empty glass and poured into it the wine “Then you can explain to me exactly what you’ve done to my place, I’ve been a little to distracted to pay it much attention.”
  18. With few heroes in Emerald City it was pretty easy to keep track of the activity, the local media gave almost hourly updates in their activity being proud of it’s local heroes. Though Emerald Spider hadn’t giving Citizens inactivity much though, what with him also having links with Freedom City. But it did make some sense now that he’d mentioned it, and she was flattered that he’d asked her for help. “Sure I’d be happy to help out.” her voice was slightly muffled by the her face covering “At least let make my own way to the dockside, you can carry me across the river, the bridge would probably add on to much time anyway.” she didn’t normally spend much time in north Emerald, this side of the river was what she considered her territory.
  19. Cathy might have been surprised but she had fairly good instincts when it came to such things, in very stark comparison to her reaction to social encounters. Her flesh took the clear ice form as the clothes she was wearing became covered in frost. She didn’t normally use weapons when fighting, finding her icy fists more than capable, but for the show of it she formed two ice batons and took up a fighting pose. “I’m getting pretty good at keeping fires under control, had lot’s of practice recently.” a cheeky grin suggested it wasn’t a completely innocent “And sweetie the flirting nice but eye’s on the prize please.”
  20. Klara was normally not one to skulk around, confident enough to stand out at her height, but today she was trying to keep a low profile. Her friend had chosen to try, for a while at least, to live a relative normal mundane life. As she had retired for a few decades to raise her daughters she understood the appeal such things, though her distinct height meant she was never truly out of mind. That and her busyness with various teams she’d not had time to visit the Esperades as much as she’d liked. Having made her way unseen to the dojo she made her way up to the entrance of the living quarters and gently knocked on the door. She wasn’t yet comfortable enough being here to just let herself in to there home.
  21. Rosa had been examine the scene with all the skills at her disposal, natural and preternatural, and didn’t seem to recognize the arrival of the new comer or the sudden departure of Slither. The words must have registered as she stood up and looked at Mister Stix with a momentary confusion. “Weren’t you shorter, and female and British?” it was only a moment's pause in her matter of fact manner “Not my place to judge I’m Doctor Rosa Thorne. You analysis sound correct and nicely summarized to the core details.” she had the mannerism of a scholar and talked to Stix like he was her student. “One option you missed was something tasked with a singular job, either magical or technological in nature. This could be as much to hide its presence as to destroy evidence.” she paused and thought for a second before adding “I guess the missing evidence may provide the necessary clues we seek” she gestured to the outline of the missing body.
  22. Klara sighed at the sight of the soldiers, she’d had lot’s of experience of the armed forces and definitely not all for the best. They were always trying to take charge of the situation and normally making a mess of everything, always best for the experts to deal with these things she fault. “I’m going to see if I can get those lunkheads to stand down, see if you can’t work out that plan further.” she gave a other heroes a confident smile, she’d only met them briefly but she felt she could trust them to get things done. She then stepped forwards towards the roadbloak flashing her ministry pass, technically it gave her some pull with even US forces but these things tended to get fuzzy when problems happened. “Unless you have a plan to deal with a giant shark and Atlantian hostility I suggest you let us all through. We’ve got an expert here who can help defuse the entire situation.” she pointed over to Aquaria When she helped with negotiations with the Deep Ones off Cornwall she learned a lot about the different sentient sea dwellers, but most people did know or care about the differences and she was hoping it would help then in this little crisis.
  23. Emerald Spider was trying to take today off. Peri with her grandmother Myung-sook were shopping at some of Emerald Cities finest, if lower end, downtown stores. Granny Pyeng however wasn’t exactly concentrating on the shopping opportunities. <“So what happens if the suit get damaged? Shouldn’t you have a spare suit, maybe something in a tasteful black?”> Peri gave a little sigh, it was nice that she had Granny to talk about things but that did have it’s downside. <“It’s not like I developed all of the systems for the Spdr Rig, besides how am I supposed to afford all the materials for the systems?”> As always Myung-sook had an answer to that as well <”Maybe you could ask you friend from there to help?”> she pointed to an convenient Archetech advertisement <”They must have everything you need and be more than willing to help.”> <”You do know that something happened with the last boss, he had to quit over some happenings in Freedom City. I’m not sure I could totally trust them after that...”> <”Well you haven’t got the best record after what happened.”> Any witty retort from Peri was cut off by a ditty little tune from what she like to call her Spider Phone. It looked like her day off was called off, after making her excuses she quickly made for the rooftops as she answered the summons.
  24. Doctor Thorne wasn’t really a hero in the traditional sense she was a scientist and a detective and whilst others would probably be investigating the Doctor himself, s/he would be better used to try and disentangle the mystery from another angle. Rosa was more than aware that she wasn’t always the best at dealing with people, that was always Liam’s strength. After checking that she wasn’t being watched and with a moment's thought Rosa was gone and Liam was there instead. There was no flashy effects or subtle morphing just one moment she was gone and he was there. Confidently Liam strode to the front desk full of his normal charm and a cheeky smile on his face. “Hello there I’ve been asked to check on Doctor Stoppleman.” he lent in conspiratorially “I don’t suppose you could tell me anything that’ll help me out?”
