When Mali mention about moving in her face lit up and she sounded excited “I know it’s amazing isn't it! I wanted to stay in one of the towers,you know like...” her hair went golden blond and grew down to the ground “...but unfortunately I was told I couldn’t.” she didn’t sound overly bothered by the whole thing when she talked again. “Oh you really should! Everyone’s who lives there is really amazing, even Tarva’s who’s a little strange.” of the two aliens, a ghost and a Deep One it was telling that Daphne picked out Tarva as the odd one out. “But you should come stay the night and see if you like it, it could be like a sleepover!” Daphne was almost vibrating with excitement at the very idea.

Agnus had no such reserve and took Asad in a full hug, and it helped that she knew she could apply her full strength without any harm, and pulled him in closely. By the time they stopped Daphne had made a little progress on the board, she could just about stay on the board and go along with the wave. This was a small victory but enough for Daphne who until today had only seen surfing on the television, not that she would have been put off by her lack off success. Bounding up the beach, like she'd seen many times on TV, she shifted her wetsuit back to her sensible bikini that she'd worn the water falling off of the space aged material. Her hair however stilled stayed wet as she playfully tossed it around. With most of the others still finishing off there impromptu volleyball game she went over to talk to the late arrival to the beach. "Hi there, Mali wasn't it? I'm think we've been introduced but I've not had a chance to chat with you, the names Daphne I've not long moved into the place myself."

Peri had a unique view on the whole event perched on the edge of one the downtown skyscrapers she was enjoying a rushed breakfast in a bag beside her, sipping on a diet soda. It hadn't been difficult to swing a shift maintaining the air conditioning of these buildings, most of the other's hadn't want to work with so much going on down below, which was helpful as Peri couldn't help but feel that trouble was bound to breakout. In case trouble did start she had worn the Spdr Rig under the very oversized jumpsuit she tended to wear for just such occasions, the other tended to gently tease that they couldn't find a jumpsuit that could fit her tiny frame. Even at this height she couldn't help but miss the events unfolding below, the screens were just that big, but she wasn't paying that much attention to what was actually being said. In Emerald City these kind of events were pretty common and tended to follow a similar script, she suspect many people did the same and just read the twitter headlines about what was actually being announced. On day the city could be renamed Marsville and people wouldn't find out ten minutes later and in 150 characters or less.

Apparently left alone again Daphne shifted back to a more comfortable form, ironically for a Grue her human one, and sat crossed legged before floating a few inches above the floor. She then placed Mother Unit in front of her allowing her to float and lazy twirl in the air. I’m not sure if I’m doing any good here Mother Unit, they just seem terrified of the Terminus. It’s clouding all their best instincts. Well even the Grue Unity wouldn’t touch the Terminus, warnings are hardwired into my black files. I know but they’re forgetting that people might be in trouble, I don’t think I’m doing anything useful here With a sigh Daphne got to her feet and gently took Mother Unit from the air, she was pretty sure her presence wouldn’t be missed.

One thing that the Order had in common with Claremont was that they emphasised the value of teamwork, it was probably why Summer’s allowed her to remain at the school despite their attempt at deception. It was sometimes a little frustrating as she was naturally a bit of a loner, though she had a small circle of good friend. She wasn’t sure which category she’d placed Crow in yet, because he had once been considered a target she’d studied him in considerable detail. Daphne senses told her most of what Miss A had said her empathic senses told her that very few sentient's existed in this city, and they were mostly inside the building. She couldn’t however tell if others were there as well without focusing her senses and that might tick the baddies off about their presence. She was optimistic that she could pull it off safely but she didn’t want to risk the others on the tiny chance that she was wrong. She might be overly optimistic but she wasn’t stupid, a plan to do both formed in her mind. “We should at least stop the machine from broadcasting the signal, that would stop others from being put into danger. I can phase into the building unseen and have Mother Unit shut it down without putting anyone at risk.” She put on her best most determined face and sounded as confident in her abilities as she could manage, which in this case was quite a bit.

Well Claremont has enough people that we could look at there own party. Maybe the storm hit as the party is coming to an end causing people having to spend the right in unusual company. Still considering idea's though, so nothings set yet.

I'm happy to connect the two or we can have both happen around the same time. People could meet at a Christmas gathering only to get snowed in together later, both are really good chances for character who haven't got together to finally meet and maybe spin off into other threads.

I have an idea for a possible Aux story, something the League couldn't admit to getting involved with. Do we want to start by putting the team together, or do we want the team fully formed?

With the holiday just around the corner I thought it would be a nice idea to have three, or more as Freedom City is a big place, Christmas themed social threads. We'd have one fir each city, no Space-Christmas I'm afraid suitable to each cities style and tone, and as such I'm ooen to peoples ideas. Ideally we'd start fairly early, I was thinking the rear end of November to give people plenty of time to get involved.

GM Post “Okie Dokie! Hold onto you hats things might get... weird” She pushed the door of the ballroom open to weirdness... Instead of the expected ballroom the space was filled with a swirling maelstrom of lights and colors appearing to be much much bigger than the space it should have occupied in all three dimensions. In the distance there was a tiny figure floating in the apparent middle of it all as appearing as if they were asleep or floating in this swirling medium, though it was difficult to make out much detail.

Klara gave a glance over at the snowmobiles with a dismissive eye,whilst she could manage on a regular sized snowmobile it wouldn’t be the most comfortable of journey. And whilst she couldn’t have carried on for several more hours some of the other wouldn’t have the same levels of endurance. “I know you keen to get started Doctor but it’s been a long day and I for one could use a couple of hours shut eyes. Maybe you could show us what’s been found out already? It’ll be useful to see what we can expect when we get there.”

Cathy spent a few moments checking that as many people as possible had gotten away before she acted to slow the enemy from getting into the hall, a possibly buy time for help to arrive. Right now she’d even appreciate Riley bear pee arrows right now, even if it would take days to get rid of the smell. Still right now it wasup to her to try and help out she stepped up to do the deed so she created sent created wast barriers of ice over all of the exit she could manage. Hopefully it would be enough.

Daphne couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable in her own skin, she prefered her human form to the natural Grue one she now wore. Only her natural hair, that she wore tied back, differentiated her from every other Grue. She tried her best to look calm, and give out calming thoughts, as she was trying to process everything that was going on here. “I can get Mother Unit to interface with the Grue systems and find out what they’re trying to do, but there’s a chance they might detect our presence. I guess that might be part of the reason they’re waiting here? We should go take a look at least, but definitely avoid the Terminus killjoys” She might be the overly optimistic sometime, but even she didn’t want to go and look for trouble especially as they sounded like a very bad thing indeed.

“Thank’s for that it’s good to know I’m not the cause of all this, at least not directly. But if I’m connected I’d still want to know who’s been using my form for such things.” she gave Psyche a smile, partly from relief and party from genuine someone believing she was innocent. Triakosia’s vision also allowed her to penetrate the mountain and see inside as to what happened she’d seen worse as a soldier, after all her entire world had died at the Terminus hands, but it was never a pleasant thing to view. “I’m not sure you much better being able to see what happened, some thing are better in the dark.”
