  1. For someone who’d never been at anything more packed than a school disco this was a whole new level for Cathy. She’d followed the others with a mute wonder as she’d tried to take in everything in at once, she was expecting almost anything tonight but not it seemed for a complete stranger to actually talk to her. Trying to work up the courage to form actual real words of reply she took one of the drinks that Raina had gracefully bought for them, trying to work up a little dutch courage. She’d spent enough nights down the pub to be able to hold her alcohol, in fact the stuff was a little to sweet for her tastes, but it calm her enough to form a few words. “Erm... sorry... what? Oh yes this is my own skin colour, totally natural.”
  2. When you submit an edit request, please do not just submit a new code-blocked sheet for us to copy & paste. You must tell us specifically what you're adding/editing. A code-blocked sheet is not required, but does make it easier on us. So not to clutter things up to much if you do include the sheet please stick it withing spoiler tags.

  4. Having heard most of this before Sitara choose to monitor the feed as it came in, she was still trying to pick up the new language of her home planet. It was strange how every now and then she’d heard a word that came from her own tongue. It was strange to hear the echoes of her world down through the aeon’s. She was still interesting in what this Terran had to say there was a fire in her Sitara had seen many times before in great people. When she got a chance to go back home she’d had to see about paying her a visit.
  5. Daphne listened with rapt attention as Paige described each of the items that they were going to make for today's meal, she’d never eaten anything more fancy than the school's canteen food. “Oh I sometime eat the canteen food, though there’s a theory there that it’s only marginally food. though I’ve had it tested and it seems perfectly normal to me.” she seemed to be quite sincere in her statement “I’ve seen all this food on the TV but I’ve never known what it all was, no one ever seems to actually eat the Thanksgiving feast on any of the shows.” at this was almost bubbling over with enthusiasm, though compared to earlier encounters her psychic emissions were kept quite low “What would you like me to do to help?”
  6. GM Post Even in a school for superheroes the sight of Triakosia(s) sat patiently waiting to see the headmistress seemed oddly out of sorts. The younger Triakosia seemed to have a millions questions that she wanted to ask but for now held her tongue, obviously having a lot of respect for her older self. After waiting for what seemed like forever the secretary gestured that the Headmistress was ready to see them, standing the elder Triakosia gestured for them to remain seated. “I need to discuss something with the headmistress, you two wait out here.” Without waiting for an answer she went through into Summer’ office, leaving the two teen superheroes to wait again.
  7. GM Post Natalia deSouza, 16, from San Francisco. Studying hard to pursue a future career as a Marine Biologist. Natalia seem to be already ready her hair and makeup impeccably done as she sat eyes closed obviously trying to center herself ready for the rapidly approaching first round of the show. Obviously she was paying enough attention to hear the approach of the two hero and call them into her changing room. All without opening her eyes she addressed the two as they entered the room. “Whatcha here for? Not trying for some mind games before we start?”
  8. The plot continues in The Box of Delights.
  9. Lukēkā gā'um̐, Tibet Perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking a breathtaking series of mountains that didn’t quite seemed liked it did flying into the village seemed as classically tibetan as you could get. It seemed almost timeless as if it came fully formed from another century. The locals seemed to be unconcerned with the sudden arrival of stranger as if they see similar things or stranger, than them. It was easy to spot who they were here to see if you knew what to look for her features were the same as Merge, though a more natural beauty. And a lot more conservatively dressed in suitable gear for the cold temperatures of the village, sat at a sturdy wooden table a steaming mug of what smelled like coffee in front of her. Spotting the heroes she gave a smile a stood up to greet them both. “Hi there I’m Nicki. Please take a seat I’m sure you’ve got some questions to ask.”
  10. GM Post With a polite knock Garid entered the Cline's trailer. After calming his kids, who seemed to want to tell him all the stories told to them in rapid succession, he gently sent them back to sit down. "So it seems that one of the elder drivers was spooked but the tremors, and the others won't move until he's happy. But he's been talking in a language that no one else understands, well until now..." he paused for a moment not quite believing what he'd just seen "Apparently there's this giant of a woman who's trying to talk to him. Are you days normally this crazy?"
  11. Hank was as seemed incredibly stressed at the whole things, though he never seemed happier than when things were going bad. “Some old guy’s throwing a fit about something, though nobody seems to know what he’s babbling about.” “Sorry to interfere but I couldn’t help but overhear. I think I can I help.” The speaker looked like a local sat at an outdoor cafe looking onto the square, drinking one of the strange drinks the locals seemed to enjoy. She was rather traditionally dress in clothes suitable for desert travel and was sat with a rather less traditionally dressed young woman who was listening to something as she typed away on her cell phone. “He’s speaking a language you don’t normally see this far south, I happen to understand it if you want me to try and translate?” her english was impeccable without any trace of an accent. “Sure you welcome to try, our translator seem to be at a loss anyway.” With a cheery nod the woman stood up from the table, well more unfolded, she would stand out anywhere being a good head a shoulder above anyone in the square. The local seemed to be use to her prescence but those from the convoy's could help but stare at the woman. Including the old man who looked at her with a measure of wonder and fear and for a few seconds stopped what he had been saying.
  12. No way he can even hope to fool that bluff, plus being very over confident he's going to get hit! Toughness save Toughness Save: 1d20+8 13. And he's out. We'll carry this on in a new thread, The Box of delights, so if you want to give a closing post and we'll move there!
  13. The Duke seemed totally oblivious to Grim’s plan showing his normal overconfidence. Even now he was in the middle of one of his quips when her devastating assault fell upon him. A confused look crossed his face before collapsing to the ground. As he crumpled to the ground all his duplicates evaporated as if they’d never even existed. Then there was silence as Grimalkin began to regain some of her composure, until the very modern sound of Lynn’s mobile phone begun to chirp away. On the other end of the line was a familiar but slightly different voice. “Hello I think I can get you people out of their predicament. Can you get yourself to Tibet?”
  14. Okay the thread in Mongolia for Wayward and the SuperCrime! crew is now up here: Beautiful Poetry of the Earth I've got another idea for you Saithor, not quite as exotic but still involving travel. If you up for it I'll get something up in a bit.
  15. Tögöl aj Akhui, Mongolia, Edge of the Gobi Desert The town was a small place one where people would normally just travel through on the way to somewhere else, but today the town was home to a variable army of trucks. Not by choice though the various convoys should be well on there way to one of the larger cities of Mongolia or even China, but the spooked drivers refused to travel any further, even for the silly money the Westerners were offering. The day had started well until the region they’d travelled into was hit by a number of small, but disturbing, number of earthquakes. A rumble went through the various local drivers and hand that the Olgoi-khorkhoi were angry for some transgression, the famed Death Worms. This was really quite good for the SuperCrime! crowd who had been trying to track down the elusive creature, and the apparently always frazzled producer was trying to get more information from a rather Grizzled Mongolian who seemed to know more about the creature. Wayward’s crew however were talking about the possibility of hiring an helicopter to get to the next scheduled concert.
  16. Sitara had watched the recording almost as many time as Cavalier trying to find anything that could be of any use, especially as she’d missed the actual incident itself. Though she was Terran herself she’d been away from Earth for so many millennia that things still alien to her eyes, and whilst she’d remembered the old tales of those living in the ocean she’d never travelled far enough to see the ocean let alone meet its inhabitants. She was trying to learn about Earth as it was now, even having Cavalier teach her one of the planet’s main languages, but it wasn’t enough to be of any help right now. Technology however was something she did understand, especially Lor technology that she’d struggles for almost a year to get to integrated with Delaztri technology. With everyone’s attention on the view screen she slid beside the clone technician and whispered into her ear. “You're in luck I just happen to have contact with the Lighthouse before, it’s a long complicated story that I’ll happily share with you later. The Terran’s technology is fairly primitive and only uses a narrow range of bandwidth compared to Lor technology. If you narrow down to just these frequences.” she gestured at the panel, not wanting to interfere with Rye-07’s work “Should allow you to boost the power of the signal and maybe even allow bandwidth for some pre-processing to clean things up.” She watched the technician work ready to fade back into the background once it was done, happen to allow the Lor technician to take all the credit.
  17. One of the hottest places to go had no real name, most just called it the Club, and to go you had to know where it was currently being held as it constantly moved location. Lucky Robin knew the right kind of people and it hadn’t taken to long to find the place, an old condemned warehouse it the shadiest part of the Fens. Even though it was still quite early there was a crowd snaking around the block and they could expect a long wait, but they’d been picked out as a couple of pretty girls and allowed to jump the que. Even Cathy’s “exotic” look was apparently a good enough draw to allow her early access, which pleased the young Scot no end. The club was mostly empty space with impromptu tables around the edge of the massive dance floors that were mostly shrouded in darkness with smoke of various types lazy floating around. Slightly less ramshackle was an apparently fully stocked bar that had already doing a healthy business. The dance floor was still a little empty, with only a few brave souls dancing away to the beat, though the floor was light in a constantly changing riot of colors from a rather decent lightling rig. From where the girls stood you couldn’t hear anything over the thumping beat, though from the few in shadows there were places where a conversation could be had.
  18. So I'm giong to have Klara have a little jaunt in Mongolia and I'm looking for a couple of international heroes to join her in her little adventure.
  19. “That a very nice thing to do but it’s probably best not to cause too much damage around here, we don’t want you getting into trouble on the first day. Here try using this instead...” There was a sharp drop in the temperature around them for a few seconds and a thick layer of frost formed on the pavement between them. A similar frost was forming around Cathy, though it didn’t appear to be doing her any harm. “There you go that a much less damaging way to communicate. In case you couldn’t guess I’m a cold controller, appropriately I’m called Frostbyte.”
  20. “It’s okay I understand, some of my people have done very bad things in the past. I just hope that one day I can prove to the world that not all Grue are bad, just like my Uncle Pseudo.” Daphne gave a little sigh and looked a little sad for a moment, hanging her head in shame. Then in an instance she was back to her cheerful self help reorganize the kitchen. When done she carefully lifted up Holly with oversized hands to carefully place Mother Unit on the shelf. “I’ve very actually done any cooking, most of my food at home is a perfectly balanced goo. Though I do like an Oreo now and again.” the last part was in a stage whisper.
  21. Sitara was trying her best to be another face in the crowd, just another jumpsuited technician working on systems. It was all carefully planned though with Grand Nauarchus knowledge, through a carefully planned chain of Intel, she was the kind of commander who knew every face in her command. Sitara had meet this commander many time before, she couldn’t help but be cautiously impressed. She didn’t have any problems with the bounty hunters causing trouble, she’d meet many who she’d trusted with her life, but she was curious to see how they would react to this job. To be honest how all of them would react. And thing were going much as expected and that the Grand Nauarchus loved the sound of her own voice.
  22. “This whole region was a mess even before the trouble with the Communion, now it’s even worse. It’s going to be difficult to find anyone hiding out in the region.” As Sitara spoke she was pointing out details from a hologram projected from her arm, finally finished she shut down the hologram storing the data for later. She looked down at the dead Star Knight, Glort she thought his name was, she hadn’t know him very well but all the loses counted. And in her time Sitara had amassed a very long list of name. “If you’re going to try and bring his killers to justice I’d like to be there to help.”
  23. "Looking good Riley, any better I might try to steal you away from Robin." Cathy gave a grin, they both knew it would ever happen for various reasons. She gave the new girl a slightly apologetic look. "Even Claremont has it popular kids, and I'm afraid you lucked into this year's outcasts. Though I'm sure we can pretend to not know you if fall in with throws cool. Though you really should meet Raina, Robin and Winfred first. Oh and Phae you definitely want to meet her, one of a kind is Phae."
  24. The one things you quickly learned about Claremont was the rather dramatic way that people would arrive and depart, and whilst this wasn't as flashy as the last arrival it was still up there on the drama stakes. Cathy who had been outside enjoying the fresh air and practising her power, not something she could do in the dorm rooms, had watched the arrival with some appreciation. When the dust settled she wandered over to the new girl to introduce herself. "Hello there and welcome to Claremont's I'm Cathy." her Scottish burr had softened a little from her time here but was still obvious "Lets get you settled in before the plastic's show up to have a nose around." thinking she added "Not that they're actually plastic..."
  25. The elder Triakosia raised an eyebrow and her tone was one of bemusement. “Alexander the Ape? Just when I think things can’t get any weirder!” The younger Triakosia was obviously more comfortable with this and briefly forgot the weird situation she found herself. “Oh yes he’s a technical genius and runs a nefarious underworld empire. I’m, not sure if he was always an ape, but seems happy with the whole thing. he’s tried several time to stop me from foiling his plan... I guess he succeeded this time.” her perky demeanour dropped from a few second. The older Triakosia took the opportunity to give her younger a comforting hug, a despite what some programs might suggest nothing bad happened to either of them. “Don’t worry some people here in Freedom City travel dimensions like it’s just a daily commute. We’ll help get you home, and maybe stop this Ape?” she looked over to Casey to see what her response would be to the offer of aid.
