For now Sitara was happy to let other take the lead and do all the boring diplomatic talk, she prefered to do her socializing with a good drink or two inside her. That kind of legwork would hopefully come later. “Couple of the convicts could have snuck in without any fuss or the media feeds could be controlled. I’ve lost count of the number of little places that seem perfect by hiding their dirty little secrets.” she explained as a counterpoint to the Aya “The trick is to spot what not being said, just watch how Amara handles this lot.”

Even if her system hadn’t informed of the fact a small star like object flaring into life wasn’t something you'd easily miss. Though right now she couldn’t be sure if it was a good thing or not, all Sitara could hope was that no one got hurt. Besides she had her own problem to worry about, splitting the pike back into two she fired off several shots towards the Spectrum Knight in front of her whilst trying not to become too obvious a target.

“I guess we’re all done here then. Considering things probably best not to be seen leaving the building...” Agnes seemed still pretty relaxed but the aura that surrounded her as Young Britannia seemed to increase in intensity until she was obscured by the light looking like a little glowing star. “We'll call you. Keep in touch!” With a sudden flash the room faded to white and them Vanguard was back in to Haven, all of them standing even if they’d left sitting down. “I love that bit. So where do we start all this?”

Well Grim's been around long enough to know each Duplicator is different, but sure it's a reasonable idea to attempt.

ooc Graduation Proclamation: Honor Society

Blodeuwedd's Initiative: 1d20+15 27 -
"I've been practicing but I can't seem to master flying, but I can leap really high. Enough to clear most skyscrapers, but some of those seem really high even for me." Triakosia blushed a little before explaining the limits of her powers, obviously a little embarrassed at her own limits on her powers. She thought for a few moment before adding about a possible destination. "I think I'd like to go to the top of the tallest building in the city, see the lay of the land as it will." The obvious building were those situated Downtown.
-
Blodeuwedd took a seat and they ordered a few drinks, for now they stuck to soft drinks even if she had ID that would allow her to drink alcohol and could actually legally drink back home. “I’m just sorry I didn’t get to visit you earlier. It’s just that graduation was a little crazy and then I had to go home whilst everyone got to decide what I was going to do exactly.” Blodeuwedd hadn’t often share much on her family from the little she did carried the suggestion that everything was a rather byzantine process.

Whilst she didn’t wear much makeup usually she had done some research on the matter, they did have the Internet all the ways in the wilds of Scotland. So between herself and Hannah they went for a series of light subtle shades to subtly enhanced her incredibly pale skin, she was pretty pleased with the results they’d managed to achieve and ended up with a decent amount of suitable makeup in case this happened again. Still she felt a little nervous as they met back up with Raina and Robin, in case she’d not done as good as job as she thought. “I think I’m all ready now. Do we have anything else to do before we hit the clubs?”
-
Cathy stood back arms crossed as the two talked about sneaking out to patrol the city. She knew enough to try and talk Raina out of anything so reckless, it would only make her more determined to do something so daring. Besides sometimes good things did happen from Raina boldness, it’s how they met Winifred after all, and beside she’d heard from some of the other Student’s that it discouraged but allowed among the students to go and fight crime in the city. Though she was still slightly miffed and the air around her became a lot chillier and a frost formed on the grass below her feet.

“I appreciate the help, I’m sure it won’t be the last time I say thank you to you today.” already she was somewhat relieved to have someone else's help. Even in her worried state she was still observing what was going on around her, skills she used as a journalist and honed doing goddess knows what. And one thing is was very clear about the relationship between Mike and Alex. “And I wouldn’t worry, you’re not really my type.” she tried to put Mike’s mind at easy “Beside it obvious that you already taken. And I’m happy for you, you've obviously got something special there. And on the plus side it means we can just stay drinking buddies.”

With the others busy with other more important things Sitara was left with the three Spectrum Knight. Not that she was overly worried instead she spent a few moments working at the controls of her Power Pike temporally altering its systems to allow for a short burst of energy, she should really spend the time to get the systems fully working again. The pike worked perfectly but unfortunately they seemed to shrug of the the energy that swirled around them. “Well that could have gone better.” she mumbled to herself, before twirling the pike around her. She guessed she’d have to do this the old fashion way.

Triakosia gave a friendly smile and relaxed slightly, actually managing to look a time bit guilty with her over entrance. "I don't normally make such a dramatic entrance but I really need you help to discover my origin. It's a rather complex situation that I really need sorting out sooner rather than later." She gave Mike a smile she was quite impressed that he recognised her, she wasn't sure how but the headband she wore somehow subtly altered her features. Though Mike was obviously one of the few that see through the disguise. "Well I must say that this a step up from my couch." She couldn't help but flash him a cheeky grin.

ic Beautiful People Doing Bad Things (IC)
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in The Theatre District
Daphne’s face brightened, naturally, at Casey’s suggestion her naturally enthusiasm ramped up to eleven. “Oh that’s a really good idea, I’m pretty sure they’d more than encourage us to go interview everyone.” her enthusiasm dip the tinest at this point “But I don’t think that I can probe another telepath, there’s a good chance that they could detect me trying to read them. But we can do this with old fashioned investigation skills.” She turned to a clean page in her note book and wrote something in her cute handwriting. “Do you want to get ready before we go meet the first girl? With got just enough time before the first event starts.” -
Daphne gave a frown both physically and psychically. She felt a little for the Deep One’s if the Atlanteans felt like that, especially as she came for a people that were mostly considered bad sorts. I don’t think you should judge an entire species by a few bad sorts, I’m sure most of them are pretty decent Deep One’s she wasn’t angry, she didn’t really do angry, but she did some irked But we should focus one the problem at hand. She waited to “hear” what the diver had to say for himself, she was looking forward to when they’d have to go down and take a look at the wreck.

Sitara sat in the pilot seat carefully bringing the vessel down towards the planet. She wasn’t the best pilot they had but was more than capable of controlling a vessel like this, that she’d been piloting for a very long time. She couldn’t help but keep an eye on the vessels engineering reading, she’d like to know the system were operating within tolerances. Normally she would have handled landing communications, she’d known Lor for longer than they had an Interstellar republic, but for now she was happy to allow Aya to handle the details. “This could be the last time everything goes according to plan, so we should enjoy every moment.”

Cathy choose for now to let Raina do most of the talking, which to be fair she seemed to do most of the time anyway, except to raise a hand and say hi when introduced. Instead she stood back, arms crossed, and listened to the two speaking about things she didn’t quite understand. She was more a practically kind of girl, stories of magical Ice Maidens in her family's past notwithstanding. “This is all really interesting but can we do it inside?” the cold didn't bother her but they weren’t technically meant to be outside after dark “Do you know what dorm you’re in?”

Whenever Dancia had something important to think about she’d like to drift on the edge of the atmosphere watching the world drifting below her. Sometime she would listen to what was going on below only to fly down and help someone, but today she wasn’t listening she was instead thinking about things. For the last year or so she had been having weird dreams that felt as if she was viewing things going on in the real world, and most of what she seeing wasn’t the most pleasant things. This shouldn’t bother her as she knew she wasn’t capable of these kinds of things right now, but she didn’t know about her past beyond waking up a year and a half ago. Had she been capable of such things in the past? Was there a part of her that was doing these things? She needed to know more about her history, her background, how she came to arrive in Freedom City. And she knew just the place to get some of those answers, having done a piece on the place a couple of months ago. Having made her mind up she shot back down through the atmosphere. Normally she’d be more subtle and arrange an appointment in civilian disguise before revealing the truth once inside, but right now the whole situation made her jittery and she wanted answer right now. So she strolled through the door of the AEON building still dressed in her iconic costume, pausing just inside the door to see how security would react to her sudden reaction. She trying not to appear aggressive, but still did a pose with her hand on her hips. Because some things were expected of you after all.

Young Triakosia considered what Miracle Girl had just told her with a surprised look on her face "Jeepers! Pardon me for say so Miss but that sounds like so bizarro pulp story." She finished with a smile and warmly shook her hand "But I can't think of a much better person to explore this strange new world." She looked out at the Freedom City skyline before asking slightly wistfully. "Could we go take a look at the view from there? I'd go myself but I can't fly and I'd like the company."

Blodeuwedd was never one for Halloween. Coming from a small village cut off from the world at large the American tradition had never caught on, beside it was also Samhain when the barrier between worlds was thin and the Order had to stay on guard. And it was when the alliances that allowed the village to be hidden was renewed between the Order and the Fae. Though even she could appreciate that she was spending the night in costume patrolling the streets making sure that people remained safe, though she was quite thankful that no Sexy Blodeuwedd costume were on display tonight. She was hoping for a quiet night of muggings and store robberies, but the news of the theft of the Horn of Taurus was something that needed her attention, especially on a night like tonight. So when Siobhan arrived at the museum Blodeuwedd wasn't that far behind, stepping silently behind her and the staff member unnoticed until she spoke. “I believe I could be of some use to you in this situation.”

Cathy had over the week managed to convince herself that it wasn't wrong that was spying on Raina tonight. For a while she'd been acting weird, well weirder, and sneaking out of the dorms at odd hours. So finally Cathy had decided to find out what was going on. So she was currently sat on the roof trying to decide what Rain a was doing exactly, it was certainly on the odd side but she'd often spent hours back home practicing her abilities where she wouldn't be seen. Lost in her thoughts she'd missed the arrival of the new boy but not Raina's cry of alarm. Without really thinking she created an ice slide and slid down to the floor landing beside her friend. "I can ex... Oh hi there are you new here?"
-
With a friendly smile Blodeuwedd gave her friend a warm hug, of her friends from Claremont she saw Giang the least. Something that she was happy to rectify on this occasion. “It’s good to see you again Giang. And it’s Blodwen now, Cerys was... less than legitimate. Though Cerys will be fine as well, it’s not like we’re not use to alternate identities.” she gave one of her tight smiles Personally she’d always thought herself as Blodeuwedd rather than any of her other identities, though her friends had never quite understood her point of view. “I hope I didn’t throw everything out for you, unfortunately I’m only on the West Coast for a few more hours.”
