ic So You Want To Visit A Haunted Bookstore, Hmm?
Tiffany Korta replied to Heritage's topic in West End
Halloween was probably Daphne's favourite time of the entire year! Yes Christmas and Thanksgiving were great times to sit around and watch television all day, but for Halloween you got to dress up however you liked. Though even she agreed with Mother Unit that some women wore far to little, which showed a distinct lack of imagination. After last year's excitement when she'd heared Grimalkin was doing a Halloween party she could hardly contain her excitement. She'd spent days working out what costume she was going to wear and what would work well whilst wearing her Scarlet face. She'd finally settled on the perfect costume to wear and she'd arrived at the bookshop dressed in head to toe in scarlet, a shapely robe and a wide brimmed witches hat. Her first instinct was to get herself something to drink before looking for anyone she would know. -
With a more stable position and better idea of everything going on Sitara was able to get a better bead on the Spectrum Knights flying around them. Especially as right now she knew her job was to clear space so Amara could get closer down to the help the civilizations. “Don’t worry we’ve got things under control here. Let’s see if we can’t help at least some of them. Let’s just hope they don’t have a problems with the Praetorians, though they wouldn’t be the first.” Tracking a nearby knight she fired a single shot toward them hit, hopefully scoring a solid hit on the humanoid.

Nơi mẹ Restaurant, San Diego It was one of those small out of the way places that only the locals knew about that served possibly some of the best Vietnamese food outside of the country. Blodeuwedd was quite proud that she'd been able to track down the place despite having only been in town for a few hours. Having just finished up some business for the Order and having a few hours before her flight back to Freedom City she thought she'd catch up with her old friend from Claremont Giang Trang. Right now was almost unrecognizable in a well cut suit her hair pulled into a severe bun playing the part of the young businesswoman. To be honest she'd be happy to get out of character into something much more comfortable.

Agnus gave a little sigh and gave a put upon look on her face, it was difficult to tell how much was an act of the real deal. “I really don’t like performing in Dubai, but if I must I shall do my part. I might have to pay my agent a little extra for this, and make sure she doesn’t book any follow up deals.” Of cause she wasn’t quite a vapid as her pop persona appeared sometimes and she added to their mental link. So we’re agreed to basically run this our way, whilst making sure that this lot are happy with what's going down. I think I enjoy this job to much sometimes.

Cathy bought her ice slide back down beside the other students, after a final circuit to make sure things were completely safe from the whoever these yahoo’s were. She wasn’t feeling safe enough to change back from her ice form just yet though. “I think we’re safe for now, there doesn’t seem to be any more of them nearby. Do we want to find out why they were here? And what can we do with them? It’s not like this is really our world.” her nose at that point caught up with the rest of her “And what is that smell?”

Cathy was for a moment a little reluctant to shake the other girl's hands, not because of anything that Phae has said of done but because her skin was as normal cold to the touch. But that was unfair so she took the other girl's hand and shook it warmly, even if her skin temperature wasn’t “It’s a pleasure to meet you Phaedra. I’m Cathy, Cathy Clouston. Would it be a problem if I tagged along with you on the tour?” she looked over at the Headmistress “If that’s okay Headmistress?” It was a toss up between going to study or spending more time with the new girl, but dramatic arrival had peeked her interest.

Sitara took up a position in the air her anti-grav systems keeping her almost perfectly still as she surveyed the entire area around them. She fired off a few shot’s from her power pike but right now it wasn’t her main concern, surveying the battlefield was her main goal and she wasn’t overly happy with what she thought she could see. “Paradigm I think I see civilians down there, this might be a entire Spectrum Knight colony. That’s going to make things much more complicated.” She was going to have to be much more careful now to avoiding hurting any non combatants, whatever the Knights had done it didn’t justify hurting those involved in the fighting.

Cathy stilled looked a little sceptical about the whole makeup thing but the others seemed, apart from Robin, sure that this was a good idea. “Oh... okay let’s go see what we can do with a little makeup.” she gave a little success action with her arms, but didn’t appear completely convinced. “But if you make me look like a clown there be trouble.” she managed an even less convincing smile Then weakly she allowed herself to led away to her makeup induced doomed, clothes were one thing but makeup was a different deal whatsoever.

Sitara had been spending the last couple of months chasing, and mostly sorting out, the various groups that had been taking advantage of the chaos caused by the actions of the Communion. The one that had managed to evade their best efforts had been these “Spectrum Knights”, despite her best efforts they just managed to keep one step ahead of the Praetorians efforts to catch them. After all time in space she was really looking forward to a little shore leave, she was sure she had enough saved up to finally take that visit to the Earth that she had long ago thought lost. If it wasn’t for the respect she had Naram she probably would have bailed long ago to make the journey anyway, in fact she was reporting to Paradigm was the only reason she was around when these so called knights happened to raid where she was currently based. Having driven off the raid her first instinct was to ask Naram to follow them back to there base and luckily she was among the few that had the very same idea. “You know me kid I’ve always got you back, say the word and we’re good to go.” Whilst she’d been working on improving her armours system it’s flight systems weren’t as fast as the other and she was well at the rear of the groups as it arrived behind the fleeing Spectrum Knights. The armour did however looked impressive the ornate pure white armour shining in the light of the gateway they’d just travelled through.

“Well aren't you the modern mum with all her technology and her mobiles phones.” Tracy gave a playful little nudge, than Klara didn’t feel at all. “You do know I come from a more advanced culture than you, we were watching you before the idea was even dreamed up.” there was a note of pride in Klara’s voice. “But only the real world, never fiction, I remember the trouble you caused when they showed Quatermass.” The two women had a good chuckle at the old memory of Klara’s unfortunate mistake. “We have very different idea’s about drama back home, at least I’d learnt by the time that other Science Fiction show started.”

ic Beautiful People Doing Bad Things (IC)
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in The Theatre District
Out of a large handbag, as red as the rest of the clothes Daphne was wearing, she brought out a what once must have been a simple notebook before it has been covered in a riot of colour and various fluff and fur, in colors that suggested they were all fake. As she flicked through Casey could see that the book was filled with various notes, some of which in a strange text that might be Grue, a sketches and doodles of various things that might have crossed her mind at some point. It seemed strange that a telepaths though would be so disorganized and chaotic. She finally found the page and showed Casey the list of names of the girls with her’s a Casey names carefully crossed out. “Okay there are four other girls in the contest, as great Super-Detectives we going to have to interview them subtly to find out which of them is the telepath. We best stay together in case she’s a shifter as well. We should have time to talk to one before the first event is due to start...” -
The little group of travelers made their way inside the Space Needle’s ground level, full of shops and restaurants everything being abandoned mid action, giving the place a strange just abandoned feeling. Malena had taken the lead, despite anyone else's disagreement on that point, and stopped in front of the elevator to the top of the Needle. “The elevator’s would be the quickest way up, but he’s bound to expect us to use it and the small space would be a death trap. Do you think you up to taking the stairs?” Maddy still studying all the subtle differences of this world quickly replied. “Well I not as fit as you but I try to keep myself in shape, I’ll be fine.” “That’s good but I wasn’t asking you!” there was a hint of a smile on her lips, did she actually make some kind of joke?

She didn't normally pay it much attention but Cathy always saw a faint aura around people, but now with an cloud obscuring her view those heat auras were really useful. With a quick sweep around the area she picked out those of here friends and worked out the enemies. With a flourish, that unfortunately none of the others could see, she sent a stream of ice to form around the energy she pegged as the leader freezing up his feet to he ground.

One thing that Cathy couldn't often be accused of was being subtle and normally she would have just slink away as a bundle of nerves. But she was fascinated enough by the whole thing to work up the confidence to try and join in with what ever happening. "Hi guys what's going on?" she tried to sound casual, then slightly shock when she saw headmistress, not that and Summers would fall for an obvious lie. "Good morning Headmistress. And I guess you must be new here?" she gave a friendly smile at Phae
