Cathy gentle dodged and weaved through the crowd until she got within sight of the room allocations . As she did she wondered who she’d get as a roommate all of the girls she’d met seemed so sure and confident, whilst she felt there frumpy hick cousin with no clue in the world. And there must be other girls who started here that she hadn’t even met yet, who might be oodles cooler that the everyone she’d met. She followed the names down until she found her own listed, Clouston, C (Frostbyte). “I’m with someone called Sanderson, R.”

Blodeuwedd was very good at reading people's body language, a skill she’d honed over the last few years, and she whilst the young girl was coiled like a spring she wasn’t a danger yet. She had occasionally managed non-human’s body language but a T-Rex was a little beyond her skill. “A simple misunderstanding we only wished to guide Kuchuk somewhere where he couldn’t accidently hurt anyone.” she patted the leg of the giant dinosaur “I promise you that we mean neither yourself of Kuchuk any harm and if you need help we’re do what we can.”

Something had been playing on Cathy’s mind all day, well several things sometime it felt like all the things. Life in the big city was certainly a confusing mess for a girl from a tiny village from Scotland. For most people this wouldn’t cause much problem, just a quiet little girl with a wide eyed looked at everything, but when Cathy was nervous she lowered the temperature around her making it pretty obvious to anyone around her. She’d managed to keep herself busy for a while sat on her bed doing her school work in her carefully neat handwriting, she wasn’t the smartest in a school with literary geniuses but she was diligent in keeping up with her school work. Finally she could bare it no longer and worked up the courage to say something. “Erm Raina you okay there?” it wasn’t the smoothest of opening lines.

Cathy gave a little shrug with talk about being normal. Looking how she did no one could ever think of her as normal, it bothered her more in this big city than it did back home. "Well I've been like this for quite quite while so normal been on the strange side for all that time. Though I've not quite got a handle on all my powers. That why I'm come all the way over here from Scotland, though it's nice to be around people my own age with powers." She looked around at he other girls with a smile, she felt that right now she was among friends.

Klara looked over to where Dimitri had gone and for a few seconds was tempted to follow, but she knew that it wouldn’t help any if she did. And whilst she didn’t agree with his political view she knew he had other better reasons to be upset at her, she wasn’t at all happy at what they’d done to others when she left. Instead she decided to stay with the two Americans for a while. after all good alcohol was never something you should turn down. “I have not been active for a very long time now, I stayed at home to raise my three daiugters whilst my wife went out to work. If you wish I have many stories and photography of our lovely talented children.”

“It’s because we’re so pretty! Such is our lot in life.” Agnus looked over at Dee and raised her eyebrow, keeping her tone light. However she added mentally to Dee in a more serious tone. After what we’ve been through the last couple of years let’s get VERA to double check all the facts. Jen I trust as much as you can, but there still everyone else in UNISON. She sipped her water and then added to the general questions. “You know we're always happy to help you clean up the mess, but I assume there’s some reason why you asked us for this help?”

Cathy had spent all of conversation making copious notes of all the information that was being given out, her only knowledge about other worlds being conversations in the pub about the myths of there Norse ancestors. She winced a little at Fred's attitude but she was still catching up to 21st century, it was a conversation due soon though. When a volunteer was asked for her hand shots straight up, even if she didn't have a magic bone in her body. Unless the stories about the Ice Maidens ancestors were true. "I'd like to try please Miss."

ic Graduation Proclamation: Honor Society
Tiffany Korta replied to Brown Dynamite's topic in Unknown Space
Blodeuwedd had spent most of the time in meditation preserving her energies focusing on what needed to be done until the right moment came to take action. Her focus was on surviving day to day just as she’d been taught over all those years. Unlike some she had no powers to call upon to fight the battle, but she’d had trained her body over the years to use fight until she was capable with most weapons or even unarmed. Rather than be dragged around by the guards she stood under her own power and walked with a certain amount of pride and dignity, they wouldn’t break her will that easily. “I just have to go go something for a few minutes, shouldn’t be too long.” As strong willed as she was she wasn’t looking forward to doing this for much to longer.- 13 replies

Agnus appearing confident and totally in control of the situation her feet up on the table sipping from a bottle of water. She literally glowed with her aura of light seeing as powerful as ever and it wasn’t all bluster, she’d grown into her role quite a bit in the last six month. “It’ll be fine we returned it without that many scratches, it’ll buff out with a little polish. Plus who doesn’t like to go into space?” she gave a cheeky grin as she spoke “And I wouldn’t worry about Jen I’ve dealt with her kind many, many times before. She’s just waiting for the right moment to bustle through that door all busy, I wouldn’t put it past her if she was outside waiting for that moment. Shall I teleport out and have a look?” her tone suggested she wasn’t completely serious.

Agnus wasn’t exactly a master seducer but she’d done alright for herself in the past, though she was technically off the market right now. But this was important business for Queen and country and all that so she didn’t have time to go about this the old fashioned way. Okay Dee I don’t want to strike out her, I know it’s a little dubious but can you give me an in here? Hopefully I work my magic from there. As she waited for an answer she struck what she hoped was a seductive come hither pose, she’d considered providing her own soft lighting but that was probably a bit to much.

Cathy hadn’t considered that the rooms would be assigned randomly she’d had thought that they’d consider her “condition” before assigning her a roommate. Would any roommate want to share with someone who could after a rough night cover the room with a layer of frost? She timidly raised her hand to attract Whoop-Ant’s attention before asking if her fears would be realised. “Are the assignments done completely randomly? Are we allowed to swap assignments if it could cause trouble to the others roommate?”

Lucy hadn’t known exactly what to expect from the ritual and she hadn’t asked, it was enough that Kimber had asked for her help. So whilst her sudden arrival was a total surprise it wasn’t an exactly unpleasant one. She gave a grin and a wave as the cheerful ghost went off to help the others. “I guess I’ll just finish up here whilst Kimber get’s to play with her new toy.” she spoke out loud to nobody in particular. The moving again at speed she made her way to the one of the few remaining Jotun skeletons trying to use her speed and power to break a few more bones.

Klara resisted the urge to shout something back the old goat was actually right about it not being the time. Instead she swore quietly in herself in her own tongue, though it was pretty obvious that it wasn’t pleasant. Instead she turned to Mary and gave a sad little smile. “So little one I guess you are confused as to what is happening? It is a long sad story that I may tell someday though as you’ll understand when you leave you leave people behind and they suffer when you go. Especially when you leader is a paranoid tyrant with trust issues.” She’d been around long enough to be pragmatic about all this and she didn’t feel like causing more hassle than she’d already caused. “But you don’t want to stand her and talk to me Dimitri tell grand tales of glorious Mother Russia, Talya ones of daring do with sparkling charm and I’m sure the American has Buck Rogers like tales of space. I only have tales of my children growing up and many, many pictures.” she gave a sigh little sign “And this is all he has in the world whilst after this is over I will go home to my wife and maybe talk to my daughters.”

Good to carry on Thev.

"In the Soviet army women were snipers and pilots, everyone worked together to defend the Motherland. Or at least among the common people, though that's an old discussion for another time." She gave a little shrug showing impressive muscles, then gave a little smile at Talya "I have also many pictures and stories of my daughter's to tell, maybe I will be a Grandmother soon! I don't feel anyway near old enough to be a Grandmother." She had never told anyone her age but she hadn't changed at all since they had known her. <"For what it's worth Dimitri I have missed our discussions. I am here remember all the men and women who fought against the Axis, I have a bottle of fine Vodka to toast to there memories. I'd like you to join me if only for old time same. If not we could always give them the fight there worried about!"> despite her time away from home her Russian still hadn't lost her Altai accent.

Klara wasn't really someone who could fade into the background especially as she was a good head and shoulders above everyone else. She had gone for a simple dress, in a respectful black, rather than wear flats she was walking around the museum barefoot. The memories of this time, both good and bad, were a good reminder of why she had left her home back then and why now she was thinking of being a hero again. She hadn't expected to meet anyone from those times but a familiar face from those times got her interest and she went to investigate. "You were lucky with such a name they just called me Warrior Woman." her English was almost flawless with a hint of a strange accent "Though you may call me Klara." She gave all of them a warm little smile, except for Comrade Frost who got a curt little nod.

Miss Grue looked a little guilty for a minute, whether it was all guilt or put on was difficult to tell from the telepathic alien. “Well things kind of ended suddenly and after the time...” she didn’t have to say exactly which on “... I wasn’t sure if I was still welcome to converse.” The two hadn’t spent long together but Casey was aware that she seemed to understand the world as if it was all a TV show, with it’s exaggerated highs and lows. “But I needed someone to help me and I knew you were perfect for this, so I had to get you on board pretty quickly. You see there’s another telepath here and she’s stolen something important, and it’s up to us to get it back.” -
Whilst it appears bioorganic it's not a species or design that Moon-Moth recognizes from anywhere else. It's is however magically fuzzy at the edges as if it's inhabiting more than the normal physical dimensions.

The two aliens looked at each other there heads to one side in the strange way that only insects could do the chittered to each other before looking back at Sakurako. “We are sorry that we are not exciting enough for you. We will endeavour to try harder in future.” the other added more helpfully “We have been in environment like you before, we will be able to cope in the environment.” They stepped out of the ship there feet touching the soil of the forest churned up by it’s impact. “We have something that needs to be kep safe are you able to protect this for us?” One of the insects held a box in it’s main limbs. -

ic Two Duplicators and Grim too!
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in The Realms Beyond
GM Post “You’ve done exactly what I needed and I must thank you for that, though I’m afraid I need a little more from you...” As he spoke the Merge he was touching began to shift and morph until she was dressed and looked exactly like the Duke. --- Back in the shop Gretchen walked into the darkened room the mirror there glowing with a strange anti-light. After a pause she raised the lump of cold iron above her head ready to strike down at the glass. --- Several more Merge’s transformed before the rest were dismissed by Merge herself, though those changes still remained. The normally serene Merge had a look of concentration on her face, it seemed he was still having an influence on her. There was only on place she go where she was safe. She touched the surface of the mirror, which rippled to the touch before she stepped through to the realm beyond. --- The spike came down and struck the glass of the mirror, causing it to ripple only briefly before like any mirror the glass shattered. --- For both mirrors the results were dramatic large shards of glass flew out as if driven by an explosion, the shards glowing with the strange anti-light. Before the glass was sucked back into the mirror itself, until only the frame remained. --- The iron spike clattered to the ground no longer held by any hand, the room now strangely empty. No blood or body remained in the room. --- The warehouse was now strangely quiet as the magical event calm down, it ripples now died down to the normal background levels. Then the original Duke, though you could never tell with the slippery man, and looked at Merge!Grim. “Now here a conundrum to be considered. Who or what are you exactly?”
