  1. As her foe fell Miss Grue jumped off and grew back to her normal size, she would have grown to giant size and maybe snatch people up but she wasn't sure exactly where the ceiling was. It wouldn’t do to make things even more complicated. Magic really wasn’t her thing and even she could tell that what Silver Scream had left was probably a really bad thing. “I think I agree we should leave here as quickly as we can, quicker maybe.” She wouldn’t take the lead, in fact she wanted to make sure that everyone else got away first.
  2. In her many hours of trying to catch up with the ever retreating mass of popular culture she’d come across a phrase that seemed appropriate at this moment Hurry up and wait. Though things seemed to be about to start Luvy would guess, she could almost feel the power being gather above them on the hill. But that still meant they had time to kill before trouble found them, as it always seemed to do, so she thought it best to try to get to know her fellow heroes. “Hello there, Temperance wasn't it? In case you didn’t catch my name I’m Lucy. I thought it would be nice to talk a little to pass the time.”
  3. So the real heroes where here to help Mike out, more than her babblings could ever hope to achieve, she was happy that his friends could help him out. She had been more than happy to just slip out and leave them to it, after settling the tab first, but once introduced it would have been rude. "It's a pleasure to meet you all. I promise you that I'm off duty at the moment, though if you want to contact me later I'll happily pass on my card." she gave them a friendly smile and drain her glass for some Dutch courage. Not that the alcohol did anything for her. "I'm also in the same business as the rest of you, though you've probably never heard of me."
  4. Well time to join the party . I'd like to see both Triakosia and Miss Grue in there costume please, doesn't have to be full body I'll be happy with anything. A suggestion for a possible project it'll be nice to see, but well in the future, is a class shot of this years Claremonters.
  5. "You can do normal you just have to find the right kind of normal, I'be heard a of a couple of heroes who are doctors and nurses. And you sometimes have to choose a time and place to allow yourself to be normal, nobody can do this 24/7." As she spoke she could hear dozen of events going on in the surrounding blocks, but figured right now this was important. Besides Freedom City wasn't exactly short of heroes. "And you also have to remember that likes Cop's we also look out for each other..."
  6. "It does have that benefit..." She gave a smile "But the down side is that you have to actually have to report the stories of quest get asked. I was in Japan earlier this year when than Earthquake happened..." Her smile faded as she remembered that week and she downed he drink before continuing. "I spent the wholt time on disaster relief, even though I was one of the few reporters who stayed on the ground. Luckily I filed a few human interest stories and kept my job, but I'm not going to get off web storier for a while..." She paused and recovered her composure. "But enough about my problem, I'd like to help you sort out yours."
  7. Dancia listened impassively as Mike went by the book in his statement, though it was something heard thousands of time. When if finished she added though in a matter of fact manner. “Seeing as you here and it’s all over the networks i think it’ too late to quote the official line. I believe there are statutes back from Moore to deal with these kind of things.” Her voice softened a little as Mike bemoan his life, and she also arranged a refill for both of them she was hopeful that she could pass them off as expensive. “As a reporter I’m supposed to watch passively and not get involved if people are in danger, but there is no way I wouldn’t try to help if I can. I don’t think a life, even half of one, where I wouldn’t do that is worth living.”
  8. "Here let me get that." Without waiting.for an answer the smartly dressed African American woman slid onto the stool next to him, gesturing to the barman to give her the same "Dancia Devons of the Freedom Ledger" she flashed her press pass "I was in the area and popped in for a drink. Do I recognize you from somewhere... Maybe TV?" In fact she had been flying over the area as Triakosia when the incident went down and even with her enhanced senses it had taken her this long to track him down. "I know a little about living a double life myself, so I thought you might like the company. If you did want to tell you story I can promise to be discreet." In truth she wasn't after the story, she as her to help a fellow hero.
  9. Sure she's large enough that he can cling to her back.
  10. Whilst Lucy couldn’t feel the change in the air, her sense were so dulled by being undead, she could still sense the power flowing through the place. Whilst she waited for Kimber to explain what she wanted people to do she took the time to admire the sheer enormity of the architecture around them. It was almost a shame that soon trouble might sight here, but it was something Kimber needed to do so she was ready to play her part. “It’s an amazing place you’ve picked I almost wish I could visit a place like this and just take in the scenery. But that not why we’re here, so what’s next?”
  11. The first thing that was very obvious was that the bathroom was very empty, thankfully the stalls were all open meaning they didn’t have to go through that unfortunately search. The reason for the lack of robot was soon quite apparent a high up and once secured window was now wide open letting the sounds of the city drift into the room. It seems the robot had outsmarted people again. And right on cue Casey picked up the sardonic tones of Ms. D through the airwaves. It was maybe telling that she thought they might be listening to such frequencies. Do you have an update on you search for the synthroid?
  12. Maxi's Initiative: 1d20+4 21, so Blue is going first.
  13. A spider world was a strange on to inhabit, even for a short while, whilst it had good vision most of it’s knowledge came from picking up vibrations from their environment. The ship thrummed with the rumble of the ship's engines, even though they seemed to be idling as the ship sat there waiting for something. Making his way up the ship to the bridge windows, avoiding another spider who wouldn’t take the intrusion kindly, Markus could looking in through his eight eyes at the crew. The bridge wasn’t packed with people only four men seemed to be controlling the ship, the person who was apparently in charge was a bit of a surprise. Strolling the bridge as if she owned the place, which she might actually, was a woman dressed as if she was out for a night out in a black Cheongsam dress.
  14. Either works H, I know it went back and forward a little at the planning stage .
  15. Happy that she’d cleared as many people as she could Dancia turned her attention to trying to work out what exactly was happening here. As a reporter rather than a scientist she was unlikely to find the solution herself, but there was bound to be people attracted to this event who could tell her what was happening. Spotting Hronos among the police cordon she decided he was exactly what she needed and within a few seconds she was standing beside the two of them. “Hello there I’m Triakosia. Do you have any idea what exactly is going on here and more importantly how we can stop it?”
  16. “The fact that we’re not know is something we can use to our advantage, but it’s also going to make things difficult for us. After all it’s been a good few thousand years since I was around this part of the universe.” it was a serious point but there was lightness in her voice. She looked at the Lor and the Star Knight who were a good few centuries younger than any of the Praetorians. “Do either of you know anything about this region of space? What can we expect when we finally touch down on one of these worlds?”
  17. It took Lucy a few moments to realise what Cavalier was talking about, one of the downside of being undead was that most of her senses were deadened. She could barely smell anything wrong about the pond, luckily her eye were perfectly fine. She leant down and gently brushed her hand over the surface of the water, luckily her flesh could recover from most things if this was more than simple water. “I’ve heard that some undead can cause corruption to the land around them, though this might be a cause or effect kind of thing.”
  18. Pretty sure she was out of sight of the creature she shifted her form again, this time into that of the woman that the Werewolf had been chasing. It was a bit of a gamble but she was counting that the beast would be compelled to follow the plot, and that meant chasing her down. And of cause she wasn’t exactly completely harmless, with or without the axe. And if the beast had been placed here to punish the two of them well so much the better. She hoped though that she at leasts go a decent score when the fight started.
  19. Daphne gave a little mental frown, a strange feeling for someone who wasn’t psychic, as she transmitted his surface thoughts. It’s fairly standard stuff for someone who has a honest to Disney Princess turn up on his door. Playing the part of some kind of aide to Glamazon she kept mostly to the background not drawing too much attention to herself. I could push deeper but we’d probably get more if we make him think about what happened.
  20. The warehouse was one of many squat building that loomed out of the darkness with almost no lighting in the area. It wouldn’t be surprising if they were the only people around, most of these warehouse relied more on their anomonity than any security. Only one Merge had occupied them and somehow managed to changed into more appropriate clothing for this heist. Though the platform heels, low cut top and mini skirt weren’t the normal fare, even if they were in appropriate black. She stood one side of the fence then there was a second one the other side. “I’ll got open a door up for you and disable the alarm. If you’d like to follow up at a suitable distance.”
  21. “You are lucky we decided to lead Kuchuk away from the populated areas, rather than deal with her were she arrived. Giant monsters aren't unusual in this city, and they don’t tend to do to well.” there was a scolding tone in her voice, but she gently patted Kuchuk as she talked. With a rather impressive flip she dismounted the T-Rex and landed perfectly in front of the woman. “How about we start with you explaining how you and this oversized pigeon ended up in Freedom City?”
  22. Daphne was danced around on the creature using her small size to, hopefully, avoid the bigger creatures attempt to stop her. The plan was to hopefully keep it occupied and allow the others to do what they needed to do. That didn't mean she was spending all her time dodging the beast as she moved around she also made little feints and blows on the creature, packing quite a lot of power into her current tiny form. Hopefully it was enough to take the creature out of the fight, she had probably taken too long to defeat the thing as it was.
  23. Continue her attacks on the Vashta Attack Roll: 1d20+12 25, that will be a DC 17 Toughness.
  24. Lucy picked herself up and brushed herself down, completely unconcerned about what would happened if the beast hadn’t been stopped. In fact she couldn’t help but be impressed by the mighty beasts power. “It would be a shame to lose such magnificent beasts, however ill tempered they seem to be.” She gently patted the hide of one of the creatures as she walked round to where the rest of them had gathered. “Whatever you plan to do I suggest that we don’t dwell here too long, I assume something must prey on these beasts...”
  25. Blodeuwedd shall draw Dyrnwyn and attack a dog Attack Roll: 1d20+12 13.
