Daphne had managed to stay quiet during the whole exchange still trying to get a handle on this part of Atlantis culture, well any part of it really. There was so much going on in the world that she wasn’t on television and now and again she got a chance to experience such things, it was really exciting. I’m sorry but I think I’m going to be asking this quite a bit today, but what exactly happened back there? She’d asked Mother Unit to try and find out more information on Atlantis culture but it seemed that they didn’t go in for much for blogging or facebook. Anything she did find was either fan theories of fan fic that Mother Unit wouldn’t let her read.

When an young agent was ready to go out in the world the Order would send then through ancient rituals to Caer Arianrhod to meet the goddess that dwelt within that Castle who would tell the young agent about their possible future, there was always much debate among the Order scholars but most believed that they went to see the actual goddess so important to the Order. Blodeuwedd always had the worse of times when visiting Arianrhod having the name of the woman that led to her downfall. Blodeuwedd thoughts drifted to that moment as she saw the symbols of Gwydion scattered around the room, brother of Arianrhod and the god who made the original Blodeuwedd. The Order discourage the worship of the Celtic deities, they had been more trouble than they were worth, but she personally considered Gwydion a guardian spirit of sorts. “Do you see those they’re symbols of Gwydion all around this place, it would explain all the Welsh deities involvement in all this.”

ic Graduation Proclamation: Mexican Standoff
Tiffany Korta replied to Brown Dynamite's topic in Americas
Blodeuwedd gently put a hand on Casey's shoulder and spoke soft and gentle, so unlike her normal voice. “You did all you could but we were just too late.” she paused and allowed the younger woman to collect herself “We need to move on as quickly as possible, others lives are at risk here.” her voice was it’s normal self She stood and stood a short distance away as she waited for Casey to gather herself together, she still wasn’t use to losing anyone but had unfortunately seen enough death to be able to cope when needed.- 10 replies

Penthouse, Henderson Apartments, Downtown Freedom City 04:00 am 19th June 2015, First Day of Ramadan Agnus was gently woken from her sleep, snuggled against Amir, by Taylor declaring another beef about someone. Luckily she didn’t need much sleep and she quickly adjusted to the time zones she skipped everyday. And even she had been all tuckered out by what they’d done last night, probably the last time they’d get to do that for a month. “Come on sleepy head time to get up. It’s you that want’s to have breakfast at this ungodly hour.” It was around nine UK time, but she left that part out. Slipping out of bed she padded over naked to the massive window that gave amazing views over the city, without anyone else being able to see what they were doing. Which was quite useful as INS, Aegis and maybe even the League might want to know how and why she was in the country. She still felt a little guilty that this bedroom was probably bigger than her parents entire house, though they stubbornly refused to let her to buy them a bigger home. “You’ve still haven’t told us where we eating this morning.” she put the word morning i air quotes “I need to decide what I’m going to wear to breakfast, it takes a lot of time and effort to fit all this under a Hijab.” she gestured to her mass of hair.

“When the early Mystery Men came along I admired them because they did what needed to be done, rather than the easy way. That’s why I took the case that led me here.” she didn’t dwell on those events “If you think the best way to help them is without the League's help, well between us we must know people who could help with such things.” “But whatever you choose I’ll help you all the way, though I’m afraid eventually we’ll need to get paid. As some of us need to eat...” the last comment seemed to cut off Erica who was obviously about to same the same thing, obviously it was an old running joke.

Evil Sorcerors Initiative: 1d20+1 21 Demons Initiative: 2#1d20+1 18 5

The sorcerer raised his staff in a gesture of defiance, energy crackling along it’s length. “It is a shame that one of my power has needs of such a base matter, but magical research isn’t cheap and I’m on the verge of my greatest discovery!” there was a gleam in his eyes as he boasted of his future discoveries. “So I’m afraid I must stop you from foiling my plans...” He spoke some words in an, probably demonic, tongue and the two brutish demons turned there rather evil eyes towards the two heros, not before pushing through the armored car's engine block.

“I don’t believe she’d deliberately hurt someone, not very seriously anyway, at least I think so. And you don’t get to see her like I do, there are time when she’s almost like she was before...” She went quiet for a few minutes a began to rub her chin, obviously considering everything Danny had mentioned. “Say I agree with what you say, how would you suggest I go about starting on my own?” It seems that his words had actually got through to her in some way, maybe this hero lark wasn’t all that difficult...

Sitara strolled in fairly relaxed, having all the time did mean she could be tardy at time. “There was a flow irregularity in one of the regulators, the Lor make decent parts but they don’t mesh quite right with our tech. We could do with a cache of Praetorian spares, if such things still exist out there.” With her explanation for her lateness out of the way she pitched in her opinions on how to find the prisoners. “We need to find a weak link in the chain and use them to get to the others. In all my existance most humanoids have three, four for those races that like fighting, needs they tend to indulge. Best place to find one of them is in a establishment that caters to these needs, especially as they’ve been denied them for quite a few years.”

“I suggest we go have a look at what they’re doing inside.” a voice with a soft Welsh lilt came from just beside Temperances left ear. “Eventually at least.” Blodeuwedd then stepped into view of both the other hero and the drone, with only the soft green glow of her round lenses beneath a dark blue hood. “I don’t believe we’ve worked together before the names Blodeuwedd.” she gave them both a curt nod “I assume we’ve all been drawn to this place for various reason, perhaps it would be wise to compare notes?”

It was almost becoming boring to shoot these ships out of the air, there was just so many of them that it was impossible not to miss something. Cause it helped a little that the fate of the world was in the balance, but Agnus mind couldn't help but wander a little as she sent another blast towards a Communion needle ship. “Okay can anyone tell me if we’re winning up here, cause I’ve got a date later and I really want time to get ready.” Cause they were probably fight off the invading forces so here was hoping that they could coordinate everything to their benefit.

ic Two Duplicators and Grim too!
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in The Realms Beyond
“Hopefully he’s going to be nowhere near the mirror, it’s just a quick grab and run. I can be where I see so security is no problem.” the sitting Merge waved a hand lazily as she explained “Though it’s a rush job, which makes me nervous, so I’d like you on hand in case trouble breaks out.” the Merge perched on the desk added. “We can plan something more elaborate to catch the little bugger once we’ve recovered the goods, the mirror should flush him out into the open.” finished off the Merge in the doorway. They all seemed to be happy with the plan they laid out, which was basically because they were literally all of one mind, but looked at the others to see they agreed with her ideas. -

Wading Way 10:00 16th June 2015 It was a warm but overcast day and Freedom City was getting on with the important business of getting things done. But being Freedom City things never seem to be able to happen without supers getting involved. And with a flash of anti-light and the smell of sulphur someone who looks like he’s come from a fantasy film or video game, staff and all, appears in the middle of the road which would be dangerous to him if it wasn’t for the two large demon flanking him. With words in a strange language he gestures to an Armored Car stuck in traffic and the two demon make their way through the traffic to do his bidding. Just another normal day in Freedom City.

Eventually the crowd seemed to thin, though they never seemed to stop moving, and the psychic heroes found themselves at the base of a rather plain looking fountain. Perched demurely was a young woman clad in a jumpsuit, the woman in red they’d been following. She had a round friendly face with a rather warm smile. It seemed rather out of place in this grey world they found themselves. “Hello there and welcome to my brain, you can call me Ms Red. I figure you’ve got a lot of questions about what’s going on here.”

ic Graduation Proclamation: Sound and Fury
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in Freedom City Stories
Wharton State Forest A few minutes later GM Post It didn’t take long on to spot where the craft had crashed there was a large gouge carved into the ground. The damage didn’t appear as serious as it could have been from a minivan sized object ploughing into the ground from orbit, none of the surrounding tree were burning from the impact. The craft itself was difficult to see properly as it was both surrounded by a fine spray of dirt thrown up by the crash a faintly shimmering force field that seemed to encompass the impact crater that it was sitting within. -
GM Post Getting late in the day, with only a few hours before closing, the library was pretty quiet with few people scattered around the stacks. The robot was obviously learning quickly, it was avoiding people if it could, but there was enough confused people who forgot the last few minutes to work out what direction he was heading. Apparently where he had gone was in one of the few places that neither of the girls would normally venture without a very good reason, the men’s restroom...

"Congratulations" Lucy was genuinely pleased for the woman, even if it might make things a little more complicated "If you'll excuse us a minute I need a quick word with Fleur." Once they were both out if earshot Lucy began again. "With everything we've just discovered I think we should get them all looked at. I believe the League has suitable facilities, and they a grey area when it comes to interdimensional visitors. Though I've never been beyound the tourist area." "It's true she's literally bought the t-shirt." Erica added with a beaming smile "You do know I meant everyone when I wanted a quiet word?" Erica defensively held up her cell phone "Taking notes like you asked me to boss."

Blodeuwedd had spent enough time around other heroes not to question when they seemed to know something out of nowhere, instead she moved to beside Lynn as if she could somehow see what the other woman was viewing. “Can you give us anything more to go on?” her voice was it’s normal level self No need to draw Dyrnwyn just yet, though she had her hand resting on the sword's hilt. If she’d know there would be trouble she wouldn’t have re-sheathed the weapon. Still you couldn’t expect trouble all the time.
-
I figured a HP would be needed anyhow so no big lost. Righ the way I see this working is that we'll transmit a signal towards Gorgon that somehow tells her inbuilt defenses that the Communion antibodies are a threat that she needs to deal with.

She might not be showing it but she was actually enjoying herself riding high in the head of the dinosaur, not many people could say they spent the day steering a dinosaur around the city. And it must be pretty annoyed with it’s tiny arms it’s had no way to get her off, unless it dropped and rolled and she was ready for that as well. “I know you’re keen to fight this beast but I don’t want to fight a couple of hundred ton of dinosaur with other people around. Let’s jut get it where no one could get hurt.”

So they were villains, well they had as much to lose as anyone else so why wouldn’t they want to help. She like to think that she could be pragmatic and more importantly trusting when the situation called for it. “I’d happily accept the help of anyone up to Omega, as long we don’t have a Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! moment.” She wasn’t sure if it was the length of time they’d been fighting or that she was on foreign soil but she couldn’t seem to muster the power for an massive burst like before, instead sh had to settle to taking out one of there ships.
