The Weizenstein Manor is a sprawling gothic mansion sitting in the affluent part of Freedom City. Apparently each generation had added to the splendor of manor with there own subtle touches but still fitting into the whole. Whilst Lucy was good at what she did it still took a while to make arrangements to meet with the surviving Weizenstein brother and it wasn’t until late afternoon that she was able to arrange a meeting at the manor. “Okay shall we see what they have to say? This could after all be a complete misunderstanding.”

Maddy walked around her double in what was almost a classic when visiting a duplicate, whilst she was apparently enjoying all this she was also observing everything that was going on. “Did you notice our doubles are slightly younger than we ourselves? I’ve always wanted to ask this, Maddy what year is it?” “Malena and it’s 2nd May 2010.” “So it’s exactly five years difference, world with different time flow have been theorised but few have been visited. It’s the difference in time flow that’s causing pressure on reality.” Whilst Malena might be a bruiser she was in no way stupid and was quickly coming to terms with her differently named duplicate. “Has any of this go to do with him come here from another Earth?” she pointed to the younger of the two Riff’s.

Indeed the British thug seemed to be out cool now surrounded by a pile of fossil bones that had caused you all troubles only a moment before. How a small time thug like Bovver Boy could actually pull off a stunt like controlling a dinosaur was quite obvious and merely glowing away. Sat around his neck was an oversized necklace consisting of a carved stone around a simple leather strap. It wasn’t difficult to tell that the item originally came from, it’s carving was obviously viking in nature with the normal prerequisite runes carved on its surface.

ooc Tales of the Praetorians: We are Legion (OOC)

Sitara took a couple of seconds to assess the situation and came up with the beginnings of a plan, simple but to the point. “Okay let’s go for the basic plan. You two go down and disable the ship's engines, stick to the shadows until you sure but make sure the engine are taken out.” She took the two pieces of her power pike and connected them together extended it, she took a crouched position with the pike over her shoulder. “I’ll stay here and give support, if trouble starts call I’ll be there straight away.”

ic Graduation Proclamation: Sound and Fury
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in Freedom City Stories
As the pair of heroes was preparing to leave the workshop to start the task of the day on of the project left running in the place, and there were often many esoteric devices quietly humming away to themselves, sprung into life. The device was apparently some sort of communication device and the sound coming from it was a strange series of clicking sound, though after a few minutes the sounds started forming into words. Aparently the device wasn’t just a communication device, it must be some sort of translator as well. “Is there anyone hearing us? We’re in trouble and need help!” -
It didn’t take long for the Harbour Master to be summoned and aquest to Animal Man’s request, the fact the he was helping the police only sweetened the deal. In his office the record were brought up on the computer. “Hrm the ship is the Klen Belyy, registered out of Russia. She’s quite a regular visitor coming into port at least once a week.” he looked further and sat back with a little sigh. “She left port a few hours ago, according to our data she’s in International Waters now. If they’ve done wrong there nothing we can do to help you I’m afraid.”

With an almost unnatural sound, perhaps like how a tree would shriek in pain, the plant woman fell unconscious from you combined blows. The cherry tree’s roots gave one last writhe in sympathetic agony before returning to their positions as before, apparently unharmed by their brief period of activity. The Japanese were a little more reserved than the average Freedomite but they still showed their joy at the villain being stopped. Soon the sounds of sirens suggested that the police would still be on the scene. As thing were still working themselves out the star of the show, Sunshine herself, came up to the hero and gave them a friendly smile “Thank you all for you help.” her english was flawless “I’d like you all to attend a small party I’m holding later, I insist and won’t take no for an answer”

Cheers Rav. It's the +1 version and I had to double check but both Frostbyte and the other can use it at the same time, they can even technically control the slide themselves!

Player Name: Tiffany Korta Character Name: Frostbyte Power Level: 10 (150/150PP) Trade-Offs: None Unspent Power Points: 0 Progress To Impervium Status: 0/150 In Brief: A big hero in her tiny community she suddenly finds herself a little fish in a very big pond. Residence: Claremont's Dorms Base of Operations:(Optional) Where the character primarily operates (e.g. Headquarters location), if anywhere. Catchphrase: "Is it me or is it cold in here?" Alternate Identity: Cathy Clouston Identity: Secret Birthplace: Shetland, Scotland, UK Occupation:Student Affiliations: Claremont Academy Family: Lara Clouston (Mother), Mikael Clouston (Father) Description: Age: 16 (DoB: 1999) Gender: Female Ethnicity: Scottish Height: 5'8" Weight: 160 lbs Eyes: Violet Hair: White Even in normal circumstances Cathy could never pass a completely normal, her skin and hair are a incredible pale white colour. Only her eye stand our being a rather vivid violet color. To most people it would appear that she suffers from albinism, though unlike those that suffer from that unfortuante condition she isn't overly harm by sunlight. She tend to dress rather sensibly with many layers of pratical clothing with a dazzling array of chunky knitted jumpers and her signiature (fake) fur lined parka, even during the hottest of days. At will she can transform her flesh and hair into solid ice that appears to have all the quanties of ice as well as being resistant more resistant to harm. Any clothes she's wearing aren't effected, though they do form a thin layer of frost over them. She doesn't current have a costume of her own so she wear the standard Claremont colours, she does wear her parka over the top as a lucky charm. Power Descriptions: By drawing mosture from the air Cathy can form it into ice with a remarkable degree of control over it's shape and form. Whilst it appears to all extent to be normal ice under her control it seems more resiliant to both physical assault and tempatures. Test have determined that her ability to control tempersture this was is some form of natural mutation, stories on the island of Ice Maidens that came with the Norse settlers may suggest that it's some form of genetic abnormality that's been carried down the generations. History: Cathy had always been a quiet distant girl happy to spend hours all by herself, a little cold and some people would later joke. But apart from that she had a happy childhood among the beautiful but stark islands that was her home. All this change when she was twelve during one bitterly cold winter day. One of the small children had gone missing and the entire village was searching for the little boy, as the sunset and the temperature fell the child had still not been found and most didn’t expect that he’d been found alive. Everyone had given up looking for the boy expect Cathy who despite the risk continued searching for the boy. With the temperatures falling well below zero neither were expected to survive. To everyone surprise and joy the pair of them returned to the village the next day, the boy was perfectly fine but Cathy had been changed. Her skin was now a ghostly white as was her hair and she was somehow able to make and control ice. Though she now looked a little strange she had saved the boy's life, by making him a shelter, and was to the village a hero. The next couple of years weren’t much different from those before the rescue, except she learned to hone her powers and when she could help the people around her. Slowly news started to spread about her remarkable abilities, helped by how remote her home was, until it made it’s way to the mainland and far, far beyond. One day an exotic looking woman turned up at the family's home offering to take Cathy to the distant, almost mythical sounding, Freedom City to a special school where she could learn to use her powers to help many more people. Personality & Motivation: Cathy is a quiet thoughtful young woman that unless prompted tend to fade into the background. It's not that she isn't good with dealing with people, quite the opposite, it's just she often lacks the confidence to put herself out into the wider world. It's would be unlikely that she would be a hero apart from one thing, she deeply care about doing everything she can to help other people. Powers & Tactics: Cathy hasn't had much training yet into how to use her powers and instead realies on her own instincts of what will work in any given situation. It just happesn that she naturally has very good instincts in these matters. Complications: Bright Lights, Big City: Whilst she not completely unaware about life in a city like Freedom, they do have television and the Internet, she can still be surprised by things that would seem completely normal to everyone else. Ta Atteri Whilst she can't feel the cold Cathy can't feel the heat either. Even on the warmest day she tends to wrap herself up in multiple layers of clothing to stay warm. Ta Sook: Much of the ice she creates is done by drawing moisture from the surrounding environment. In incredibly dry and arid environment she might be unable to produce as much ice or normal, or in extreme circumstances none at all. “And I didn’t even get my bonus Credits for a swift delivery.” there was a bemused note to her voice “We’ll keep a datalink open to share whatever information we discover. May you prefered deity bless this day for us all Horizon.” Again she turned her attention to how they could aid Gorgon fighting off this threat, ironic seeing how many different attempts had been tried to destroy her in the past. “Captain Voxx we’re going to need to get pretty close to Gorgon to be able to have any effect on her, hopefully she won’t try to eat us again. Doctor Zober you know more about Gorgon than anyone of us here, any suggestion as to how we could proceed?”

Daphne felt the creature’s touching her mind, which left a rather nasty tin-like mental taste, but drawing on her reserves she managed to shrug off it’s mental assault. “Ouch bad Antibody that it no more Miss nice Grue.” With so much mental concentration she popped back into her normal form, the actual loud popping sound was probably something she caused herself. She used this to her advantage shrinking as she fell managing to fall squarely onto the creature put a remarkable force to her landing despite her tiny size.

Lucy gave a little frown at the latest set back they’d suffered since landing on the island. As she shifted the weight around to get another hit she considered there options. “Go make sure that Blue Jay is alright, I’ll keep this one busy whilst to do so.” she gave a reassuring smile at Nick “Don’t worry about me I’m a tough old bird, it’ll take more than a hopping idiot to take me down.” To illustrate the point she again swung the tree at the oriental vampire catching him with what she hoped was a fairly solid blow.

I don’t know I’m looking forward to my own Plushie or Action Figure or even my own comic book. Her enthusiasm flowed through the mental link. They finally reached the school Zen garden laid out in a rather traditional manner several large flat rock surrounded by carefully raked sand. With it’s walled surround shadowed by large trees it was an ocean of calm even in the middle of the school. Ah here we are pick a rock and get comfortable, we’ll see if we can strengthen you telepathy. She sat cross legged on the largest of the stone and gestured to nearby stone, somehow she’d not left a trace on the sand even though the rock was more or less central of the garden.

Daphne looked around with a little trepidation, but more excitement at situation they suddenly found themselves. She experimented to see if she could produce colours and once she found up she couldn’t settled on a shade of grey that she thought looked pretty. “You know this happens to me more often than it should. I’ve been in television as well all I need is a video game to complete the set.” she beamed a wide smile, but she was looking around trying to work out were in the plot they’d gotten to having lost her place a little in all the excitement “Do you know where we got to in the plot, I’m pretty sure we’re due a Werewolf attack pretty soon. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to pick him up.” She was curious if movie character had minds to read, would they be simple emotions like animals or just echo’s of there lines?
-
Whilst she could appear Atlantean and speak the language like a native but she didn’t quite understand all culture that well, they unhelpfully didn’t make there own television and few show about there culture existed. And she was pretty sure that Man from Atlantis was the best source for how to act in this company. So she kept quiet and trying to figure out exactly what was going on right now. Okay is this like really bad or something? Cause if you want I could try and really there minds and find out what going on. They wouldn't even know that I was doing it I promise.

“I’m not a true master of occult lore but I do know that sometime things escape ever the most scrupulous esoteric lore. There is a remote chance that it is the ghost or fetch sent to aid or warn you about something. Then again it could be some spirit taking a familiar form that’s trying to tell you something.” her voice had softened as she spoke, make her accent more obvious than normal, being very aware of how sensitive the subject could become. She watched Lynn body language for any reaction, even though she found her body language slightly off from the norm. “Whatever it is it means something magical is or has been about the area, we should be careful about what we see from here on in.”

Blodeuwedd listened to the french woman as she explained the apparently serious situation her little kingdom was under. “Can we have a few seconds to talk this through?” she waited for a few as the woman went to power her nose and turned to Tona “They need our help and you seem to be the best option to help them. And whilst I can’t speak French and I and Noor can talk you through the social bits.” she gave one of her half smile “And you’ll get a chance to enjoy French culture for a week or so, whats not to love?”
