Lucy kept plugging away with her large wooden weapon having gotten a pretty good grip on the improvised weapon. She faced a few vampire in her time but mostly they were of the western type and definitely nothing like this. “It seems they seem to be in no hurry to explain themselves to us, though I do expect they are the reason why we’re on this little island.” A lot of vampire she’d faced had loved the sound of their own voice, maybe they could encourage this vampire to do much the same thing.

SItara listened to the comm’s traffic of the Praetorians as they faced there enemy in comat with a mix of satisfaction that there plan was working and little bit of sadness that she wasn’t right now in the midst of battle. “Okay this seems to be working let’s keep moving forwards keep you wits about you and we should be fine. I’ll be a step or two behind you all.” She followed up keeping a short distance away, aware that she was the least stealthy of her little groups. Normally she would have led from the front but in this case it would have probably put them in more danger and possibly spoil the plan

Shall recover from as many wounded conditions as I can, with a +11 Con bonus it's more or less a done deal.

Agnus smiled up at the Italian hero as her she recovered a little her aura flared back into life. “If we keep doing this people are going to start to talk. Or at least talk more, you should see the gossip columns about me!” she smiled at the other hero, finding humour in even this possibly dire situation. She gently floated away from the other hero and floated beside her the light surrounding her seeming to glow briefly brighter as arms out her wounds seemed to fade just a little. Hopefully they wouldn’t have to face even worse wounds in the next assault.

Sitara didn't insult the others by explaining the danger of all this, they were all smart enough to figure it out enough. "Doctor contact Gorgon and warn her of the potential danger maybe she knows a way to avoid the threat." she turned to the assembled heroes who she didn't know but trusted them to solve almost any problems "You all among the smartest people in Known Space between us all we should be able to come up with a way to stop this threat to Gorgon and possibly us all."

Lucy didn't overreact but instead replaced her sunglasses and waited for things to settle down, it wasn't the first time people had reacted negatively to her appearance -the eyes tended to unnerved even the most superhero friendly fan. "I actually understand exactly where you coming from, I went from a world of just a few Mystery Men and Women to a world full of brightly coloured heroes and villains." Anticipating the next question she added "For complicated reasons I missed 90 odd years of history." She paused to allow that information to sink in and whether it would effect there working relationship with them.

The young woman was about the same age as themselves and carried herself with some confidence, which was pretty easy with a massively built guard behind you. “Greetings and welcome to the Kingdom of Dakana. I’m afraid King M’Balla is away on matters of state at the moment, so he’s asked me to look after you. I am called Ghaydaa.” she gave a respectful nod “If you like to follow me we have a car waiting to take you to suitable quarters.” she gestured and waited for them to follow her out of the airport.

Earth-Prime, Modern Riff “Very few study dimensional sciences it’s difficult to get practical data, most Superheroes aren't scientist and those that do don’t like to share their data.” there was more a hint of frustration in her voice rather than anger. “But watch what happens when things cross the event horizon, don’t worry everyone will be fine for now.” A taxi rumbled down the road an advertisement on the side for the new bio-doc about Kurt Cobain as it passed the fuzzy purple barrier, obviously unaware of the thing, it passed through. For a few second the taxi seemed almost frozen before carrying on as before, on it’s side now was a advert for a new album by Nirvana, one Riff had never heard off. The people inside the cab seemed unaffected and unaware of what had just happened “Okay I adjust my previous statement this will be really really bad. Someone is trying to overwrite their reality over the top of our, and it seem it’s slower. That going to cause a massive energy release, maybe enough to level most of Seattle. We need to go in there and shut down the device before things go too far.”

Freedom City cops were probably the most difficult to surprise in the country if not the world, but even they had to start somewhere. The older cop acted unconcerned with the whole transformation, but the younger officer jaw seemed to literally fall open. The gave alittle shryg and stepped towards Animal Man. “If you can prove all that then I guess this falls to me, there’s obviously something pretty serious going on here.” He stepped up and offered the hero a business card. “You find anything out give us a call and we’ll do the rest. And thanks for you help so far.”

The detective listened intently to Mirrors explanation then gave the young hero a warm smile her entire demeanor changing in almost an instance. “Good I thought you might be one of those tight lipped heroes who disappear into the night. They really bug me when the do that.” She waved in one of the uniformed cop and met them at the door. “The owner of the shop is missing this hero will give you a description canvas the nearby area, pull any CCTV footage you can find as well. This could take a while do you want to come back to the station to wait it out or do you have a contact number?”

Daedalus Building, Claremont Academy, Bayview, Freedom City Monday 1st June 6:00 am At this time of the year most technology lab’s would be completely silent and quiet shut up as students set their mind on “more important” less scholarly subjects. But Claremont wasn’t you most typical school and various technological devices hummed away of flashed little light in the darkness. Though unusually no one else was working in the lab right now, either from a very early start or still there from the night before.

Claremont Academy, Bayview, Freedom City Saturday 9th May 11:00 am Daphne had a strange relationship with Claremont. Whilst she wasn’t quite a student, she was quite happy studying at Burroughs, she had been attending Claremont's to help learn more about her powers as well as fight alongside a kickass superhero team, when there schedules aligned. But today she’d been asked, by that very nice headmaster, to meet one of the new students another psychic students and help them understanding their powers. Not that Daphne understood her own power completely, they’d just been there since the day she woke up from her birthing pod, it was just natural to her and her powers had only got stronger the more she used them Which she guest was kinda the point.

The giant in questions wasn’t exactly what you’d expect, instead of some massive costumed villain it appeared to be a teenage girl. One over two stories high but an average woman in general appearance. She was dressed in a simple t-shirt, with a billboard sized face festooned upon it, jeans with a pair of rainbow colored sneakers. She was apparently walking purposefully down the street apparently set on a destination paying little attention with anything in her way, like people, trucks or cars, mumbling to herself as she walked.

It could have been any street in Freedom City, or almost any city in the world, a crowd of people making there way to work. In the early morning light everyone looked gray and almost the same, but that was because everything seemed to be in black and white. And there was no sounds the people moved in complete silence and more unusual for a telepath no thoughts or emotions leaked from these people. Apart from the two of you standing there as the crowd weaved around you there was a flash of red of a figure moving against the flow of people.

Sparrow Cafe, Southside It was a quiet day with a few customers, mostly quite happy with there food and relaxed and chatty. Good days like this were few and far between and needed to be enjoyed to their full extent. Of cause that was when superhero shenanigans were bound to happen. Today it was a giant foot, followed by enough walking past the cafe on there way to do something no good. Even though super’s were an almost everyday occurrence people still came out to see what was going on, though some jaded locals carried on with their business.
