If the Merge Trois were impressed by Grimalkin’s trick she didn’t show it instead seeming more concerned with other mathers. “Damn do I look good!” the second Merge gave a supportive mum-huh. The second Merge started to worked on the phone accepting the job in hand. “If he’s that keen we should get the details back very shortly.”as nonchalantly almost as aside she added “What do you want to do with the money? I’ll have to take his retainer or he’ll get suspicious, it’s not a massive amount.” the second showed the amount on a tablet an amount in the low hundred thousands “There are a few charities in Lincoln that could do with an anonymous donation, but it’s you call.” Maybe she wasn’t quite as selfish as she made herself out.

Another-World, Teenage Riff Patriota put on her ArchePod some high energetic songs, or bee’s in a tin from Riff’s point of view, but nothing that appealed to the young rock hero. Descending from the transports ramp the pair saw an almost normal street scene, though much of the traffic had ground to a halt to watch what was happening at the Space Needle. The overcast sky however seemed to have a strange purple pink tinge to it that seemed to peminate the air around them. Earth-Prime, Modern Riff Maddie stopped a block or two from the Needle to point out something to Riff. “Look can you see it? You have to squint a little but it’s there.” Indeed with a little effort Riff could see that there was a faint image of some kind of dome forming around the Needle. “Someone’s trying to merge one universe over the other, this could be bad really, really bad.” She mimed a explosion with her hand to illustrate exactly what could happen.

The woman didn’t speak but her face screwed up in pure hate, at Endurance of the hologram she couldn’t be totally sure, and the tree branches around her writhed about in angry agitation. As they shook the leaves began to shed to be picked up by the woman and began to swirl around her. After a few second there was a torment of leaves that swirled around her, until she sent them flying towards Endeavor. A few leaves clipped flesh causing a few small cut’s that suggested that her attack would have been effective, but most of the leaves missed Sakurako fluttering harmlessly away.

The undead dinosaur seemed to shake it’s head as if it was trying to clear it non brain from something, obviously Bovver Boy was somehow connected with the T-Rex on quite a fundamental level. It did manage to recover enough to be able to attack them again. The creature was continuing to weave around in quite a agile manner managing to move it’s bulk around to be able to attack it’s nearest foes. It’s massive jaws snapped but closed on thin air with a massive crack. Maybe the battle was starting to turn in their favour?

The detective introduced herself and Detective Khan and was apparently hiding her annoyance at the whole situation pretty well. She even managed an almosts friendly smile. She strode into the store without seeming concerned about whatever had caused the store to be evacuated. Looking around the store the detective gather all the information that she thought she needed about what appeared to be a simple robbery. “While I appreciate all the help you given us would you care to explain why you asked my officers to leave this shop? This seems a pretty straightforward case of robbery.”

Earth-Prime, Modern Riff Maddie swapped her lab coat for a short denim jacket and grabbed some kind of device from a table. “I got nothing arranged so far until we know more this is just a fact finding mission. If thing get really serious we can always call in support from Emerald City.” from her voice she sounded fairly confident that nothing dangerous was about to happen. “Beside I’m pretty sure we can close the rift without any problems.” Another-Earth, Teenage Riff Malena eye’s narrow and she shot Riff a look as if he’d accused her entire family of treason, or worse. “You have nothing to worry about I’m more than capable of handling myself if trouble starts.” Thankfully before she could go into any more detail the transport landed with a clunk and the rear ramp began to descend. “The two of us should be able to sort out the rift without any problems, as long as you listen to my direction.”

The two Merge’s looked at each other as Lynn explained all about the mirror, looking slightly bored as the conversation carried on. When Lynn had finished Merge gave finally look and carried on. “The contract, which you be happy to hear I didn’t accept, is to steal the mirror tonight as the auction is tomorrow. I’m guessing the short turnaround is why he wanted hired me, as I can provide almost unlimited woman-power.” The second Merge showed the message from the Duke on her tablet phone saying much the same as she’d just explained, though in slightly more flowery language. It didn’t mention the location of the object meaning that Merge had managed to piece this together in just over a single day, not a mean feat it itself. “So how do you want to proceed? I assume you want to protect and maybe recover the mirror.”

Earth-Prime, Modern Riff The young Doctor went over to a large window of the building which over looked much of Seattle skyline, including the Needle itself. She squinted against the sun at the Needle trying to make out some detail or other, after a few second she gestured for Riff to join her. “Whilst you don’t remember it I think whoevers on the other side is coming to visit whether you if you like it or not. Something is definitely happening at the Needle.” Around the tower at top of the Space Needle a strange purple nimbus of light was forming, faint now but apparently slowly growing in power. “I think we should go give you old friend a little visit.” Another Earth, Teenage Riff The craft they were in did a circuit around the tower as it looked for a good spot to land, casting the inside of the vehicle with a strange purple light. The entire tower was bathed in a purple aura of light that seemed to pulse with energy. Around the top or the tower purple electricity sparked between the tower at the top of the circular structure below. Strangely whilst the rest of the city was overcast the spot directly above the tower was clear and sunny. “We'll be landing in just a minute, then we can find out exactly who’s doing all this.”

Another Merge appeared at the door of the office dressed identically to the first but in tweed was pink, as well as the tips of her hair. “I hope you don’t mind...” said the first Merge “...but I let myself in.” finished the second The second held an oversized cell in one hand and what looked like a catalogue of some kind. “Someone doing an clearance auction of an old storage warehouse and our old Duke apparently doesn’t want to pay for a certain item.” The second Merge walked round and put the catalogue in front of Lynn the page showed a photograph of the item in question, another mirror identical to the one held in the Bookshop. And as any mage will tell you any item identical to another would share the originals power almost by default. It seems someone, maybe even Grampa himself had fitted a backdoor into his pocket dimension.

I guess Blod's going to have to go just to stop the same type of trouble as last time they went!

Seems he want someone to recover an artifact called the Mirror of Al-Kazar. it took quite a bit of digging to discover that Al-Kazar was somehow related to you.” Merge gave a little arms out gesture “And that why I’m here.”

The headmistress thought you’d like to help us stop whoever doing this.” Malena gave a shrug and returned to her playlist, obviously not so bother if Riff wanted to help or not.

He's were things get fun! For reference: Riff-A : Went through the portal and is currently on the other world only an hour or so ago. Riff-B : From his perspective he was unable to travel to the other world, coming straight back through to Earth-Prime. no ones quite sure why they didn't respond but as they didn't answer they didn't try again. Both event are happening at roughly the same time and Malena and Maddie are the same person, adjusting for age like Riff. Some of these will be answered as we go along the rest are due to Science!

Hovering over the city Dancia had to admit a certain amount of admiration for the cowl, as well as some frustration, he managed to somehow evade her senses and despite several sweeps of the city she couldn’t find where he’d gone. It didn’t help that she’d stopped a few time to help in trouble, but she couldn’t see people suffer is she could help. She activated her comm system, a gift from the League, and told it to contact Grimalkin and Net Fly after getting there contact details during the last emergency they’d attended. “This is Triakosia here. I’m not planning to leave unless I’m asked and I think we should look into what caused this earthquakes. Where best to meet you both?”

Sitara shot Moon-moth a subtle are you mad? look, though on reflection she’d seen her share of primitive beliefs, heck she’d even shared in some of them when she first left home. “I don’t believe the ship is haunted it more likely to be an emergence AI.” whilst the ship was the best of Delaztri engineering she hadn’t suspected the ship was complex enough to support such a life form. “I’ve come across similar before some new other’s ancient, we should be safe from harm unless we try to destroy them. I believe there are protocol for such cases, there normally are. My suggestion would be to help it complete it’s digital birth, though that might put us out of business for little while.”

There was always a horrible beauty in space combat the as various weapons streaked silently through the void. The slow dance of death normally allowed a moment or two of contemplation and wonderment. This however wasn’t a moment like this they’d have to act quickly to avoid casualty. “Contact the our forces and have them get out of Gorgon’s way, hopefully they’ll believe us and not try to take shots at her.” Sitara straightened up and looked around the motley little crew. “I know we’ve been through a lot already today, and I promise you i’ll be the first to buy you all a drink. But there are wounded out there that need our help, I need you all just one last time today...”

Lucy gave a little shrug “That you but I don’t think I’ve done anything particularly special, most of the undead heroes I’ve met seem pretty well adjusted, we’ll except one and I believe he has a lot of darkness in his past.” Any details she was about to add were interrupted by Erica bounding back up to them. “This place is pretty amazing, do you think I’ll be able to arrange some vacation time here?” as they made their way to meet the others Erica waxed lyrical about the beauty of the place, until they sat down to meet the survivors. “Well Freedom City a pretty nice place but I wouldn’t exactly call it a paradise.” Lucy gave a broad smile at the comment, which she managed to keep despite the next comment made about her. “I tell you the same thing i told the children, I won’t lie to you in the slightest about anything. And yes I’m one of those people.” she took of her sunglasses to show her black eyes “If I make you uncomfortable I could maybe suggest another lawyer, but few would be able to understand your plight much less argue your case.” Lucy kept her voice level and matter of fact with no anger in her voice or even a boasting tone.
