ic IC - Cyberpirates of the Atlantic Basin
Tiffany Korta replied to The Sailor's topic in Rivers, Lakes and Oceans
Blodeuwedd watching everything unfold from her perch above them all. As far as she could tell the Coast Guard were on the level but conditions were far from ideal. And she was more than sure that they could look after themselves if trouble started. “I don’t expect trouble but I’ll stay with you, but out of sight just in case.” Invisible to all she jumped down onto the boat, without even a suspicious ripple, and secured herself ready for the journey to their ship. “I’ll stay in Comm’s contact in case trouble starts.” -
Seattle, Washington State, United States Another Earth, 2nd May 2010, 15:30 PST Whilst Riff hadn’t been on this alternative Earth long he had already had a sense of things being different, right from the start when he’d met Headmistress Jasmine Summers on his arrival to this worlds Claremont. It had meant to be a simple visit delivering an item between Head’s, instead Rift had been drafted into helping them deal with a problem. Within the hour he been coerced into journeying to Seattle, it wasn’t clear if this world had a version of his team instead he had been bundled quickly off of the campus with a young woman he’d never met before. The young Hispanic woman had introduced herself as Malena Simmons, or as she said with a little pride Patriota. She was dressed in a black sleeveless jumpsuit cut off at the knees, which showed off her athletic physique, unadorned apart from a large white Star across her chest. Over the top of that she wore a short white jacket only barely more practical that the pouches that were now out of fashion. As they waited for the transport to arrive in the city she played with a ArchePod apparently setting up a playlist for there mission.

“Oh wow really you think I should do this?” after a rather embarrassing incident before Daphne managed to suppress any kind of Psychic squee “Okay if you think it best I’ll go parley with him.” She straightened up and made herself look as serious as she could. “My psychic link will stay on if you need to call me, I’d suggest you send one of those little camera-bots so these people can see that we’re on the level. We don’t want them thinking we’re betraying them to an enemy.” it was apparent from her tone that she wasn’t being sarcastic or trying to make a point. Once everything was arranged Daphne simply stepped over the wall and strode confidently to the assembled army. She stopped at the head of the army and crouched down to speak with the most important person she could see, making absolutely sure she wouldn’t hurt anyone. “Take me to you leader.”

Despite the seriousness of everything going on around her Daphne couldn’t help but enjoy herself bouncing around, mentally at least, the sky with a little helping push here and there. BUt whilst if was fun to do they really must deal with this invasion so eventually she made her way towards some of the enemies still attacking them. Spotting a group of Antibodies together she flew her way towards them before bouncing her way between the closely grouped enemies, her dense body able to do much more harm than her exterior would suggest.

With a loud boom the woman crashed into the sidewalk scattering the few pedestrians making there way to and from work. She rose up from the impressive dent she’d made in the concret, apparently unconcerned with the damage she’d caused, and looked around at everything that was going on around her. “So this is the fabled Freedom City, I must say I’m not impressed.” She strode purposely to a rather bemused hot dog cart vendor who had obviously seen it all before. “What are you offering vendor?” The man whipped together a dog with a flourish of someone who’d done this kind of thing many times before. “Here try one of my famous dog, the best in the city.” The woman took the dog and took a single bite before her face darkened. “Are you trying to poison me with his horrendous processed meat?” Throwing the offending food away she lifted the man up by the neck apparently aiming to cause him harm.

Black Knight Dazed and Bruised Bovver Boy Toughness Save: 1d20+7-1 9 Dazed and Staggered Give me an IC post, we might be nearing the end of this fight!

Okay sorry for the delay. The creature obviously has a rather unique smell which mean it pretty easy to track. Whilst fatal wounded there no where near enough blood around, meaning it was killed somewhere else. You can't detect any nearby vehicle and you picking up that humans, probably four or more, carried the creature to dump it here. All this suggests that it was killed elsewhere and bought and dumped in the warehouse.

GM Post Noor sipped her coffee apparently working up her courage to ask the heroes a question. Eventually after a moment or two silence she decided to finally speak her mind about what was bothering her. “I wouldn’t normally ask anyone to do something dishonest but we are desperate. Would you stand in for our lost Princess? You would only need to spend the week and accept the crown, after that you could hand it over to her younger sister.” she sounded genuine in her desire to do what was best for their tiny little kingdom.

“Maybe you talk to one of the tech heroes about a voice box maybe? That if you want there are some people I’d prefer keep quiet sometimes.” Blodeuwedd gave a little indication if she was serious or not as she carefully spelt out her name for Hestina “This is my final year here so it’s strange you’ve not seen me around, but I do tend to blend into the background sometimes. I believe you paperworks all sorted so shall we get you all settled into your rooms.” With that you gently began to hustle towards their destination.

After making sure her college would be safe from Antibody attack Agnus took back to the air in a streak of bright white light. As she rapidly climbed every upwards the light grew brighter and brighter until it was almost too bright to look at directly. As she climbed she dodged and weaved past Antibodies and allies looking for a spot where she could safely let off this charge without harming any of her friends. Once she got to the perfect spot she let off the energy she’d gathered in a massive explosion of light.

Agnus unlike Dee was looking forward to the party, work or not, it had been a while since she’d had a chance to cut back a little and have some fun. Still she was aware that this wasn’t all fun and they had a mission to complete. <”Please call me Agnus. And if it helps we can both speak French, though it’s probably pretty common in there.”> As she spoke she gave Dee a little reassuring smile she’d been through similar experiences over the years, just not as Agnus. It still was a little weird how easily she slipped into the memories of the previous hosts sometimes. <I’m as ready as I’ll ever be. And hey what’s the worst that can happen?> the was her usual lightness to her tone even in her thoughts.

If I repeat the attack how many of the remaining Antibodies can Miss Grue catch?
-
In that case YB will fly back up, as far as she needs to be clear (4,400 ft tops), and let off another area blast.
