Would the Think Tank include the Steampunk engineer we picked up from Earth Victorian? This might be personal taste but I like the idea of Vanguard being based in one of London iconic buildings, maybe with a portion of it underground. We could hand wave it with being part of the reorganization of the Ministry. The Spires the latest one to be built so it works work quite well, or maybe one Canary wharf with it golden pyramid roof. Or maybe even the Gherkin...

As soon as the shaking started Triakosia sprung into action trying to protect as many people as she could from falling debris. She couldn’t be everywhere or stop all but she tried to do as much as she could, later she could worry if she’d done enough. Once the shaking had stopped her first concern was to try to get people out of the stadium, without any further injury to anyone. To this end she addressed the crowd in a loud but calm and controlled manner. “I need everyone to remain calm and to start to leave the stadium as quickly but safely as you can. If you're able please help anyone who’s confused or stunned, or the walking wounded to leave with you.†Her focus for now was on those from Freedom City, she knew that the Japanese were well drilled in dealing with emergencies like these. Once she was happy that everyone was starting to leave in a safe manner she began to evacuate those that were unable to leave by themselves, starting with those who had been trapped but still alive. Training she’d received long ago from a life no longer remember helped her stay focused and make those unfortunately necessary decisions.

GIVEN SIGHT BEYOND SIGHT BY HGM Time to fine tune Triakosia's senses a little bit. To this end I'm adding the following: Increase Notice by 4 points to 7(+6) [1 PP] For ease I'm spliting her super senses into Hearing and Vision. I'm also adding Accurate and Extended 2 to hearing (Vision is next month ). Lucy crouched down so she was at the same level as the two kids and tried to speak to both of them at once, though it was obvious who would do most of the talking. “Well I’m not but there could have been I was born a very long time ago in 1897. In my world I went to sleep and when I woke up eighty years had passed.†She drew a breath, though she didn’t need to, if she was going to connect with these poor children now would be the time. “When I woke up everyone I knew and care for had gone. My mother, father and all my brothers and sisters.†the sadness in her voice was very genuine.

Black Knights attack seemed to wash over Bovver Boy and his undead dinosaur without any apparent ill effects, in fact all it seemed to do is irritate him even more. “Can’t a bloke nick something from a museum without some poncy knight trying to stop him?†you couldn’t tell if he was being completely serious. To emphasise the point he brought both his hands either sides of Black Knights head snapping them against his side.

“I think he picked you over Britannia because he thought you were a soft touch, guess he didn’t know us like he thought.†Anne gave a smile apparently she was happy with everyone’s responses. “I’m happy that everyone is on message as the young people say.†her tone suggested she wasn’t a fan of the term “It’s going to take time and effort to clean everything up and we need something that people can get behind. What we need right now is Vanguard.â€

With a little encouragement the Lor gave up their uniforms which were designed to adjust easily to the wearer. With a little effort Sitara managed to get the suits HUD system to display its informations, though unhelpfully for the others the information was all in Lor. Following the HUD’s map they did however show safe path up the edge of the valley and towards the base itself. The area should have been patrol or secured but there didn’t seem to be any others around.

GM Post The muggers even with their number weren’t an effective challenge for the two heroes and their numbers were rapidly thinning. “Interesting conversation Blue Jay?†Blodeuwedd had many talents but languages wasn’t one of them. The woman herself though scared now seemed determined to make herself understood <â€I am not from space I am French! Foix is a small kingdom between France and Spain, one of the few true Monarchies in Europe. And it’s just Clémentine you... she is the fourth to hold the name, though the House of Foix may be coming to an end...â€>

Sitara moved down the ramp of the ship and followed a short distance away from Moon-Moth, bright white armour wasn’t the easiest thing to being sneaky in but she liked to play smart at time like this. “I need you to scout ahead a little Myothizar, we need to find something we can use against the pirates. I’ll follow a short distance away if trouble starts hunker down and back you up.†With a little luck they’d find more than trouble up ahead.

I’m not exactly suited to subtly weedling out traitor, whatever I do I tend to stand out from the crowd.â€

As she made her way through the dark a voice came through the tunnels, her voice but it sounded strange to her ears. She knew that people talked about how your voice sounded to others but this was different it sounded like the voice had cracked. "Now, now don't be shy I can hear you coming through the tunnels. Come into my parlor..." She also sounded not a little unhinged whatever she had been through had obviously affected her mind.

Lucy took a pair of sunglasses that she’d had on her head and put them on covering her eyes as she considered how best to talk with the children. “I think here will be fine it gives them option to walk away if they don’t want to talk, we want them to feel they have control after all.†She walked across to them making sure that they could see her approach and stopped a short distance away from them. She offered them a friendly smile and introduced herself in her normal tones. “Hello there I’m Lucy I was wondering if I could talk to you for a minute?â€

Daphne wasn’t a person who really got angry normally, but something about Silver’s Scream word’s made her upset. She pursed her lips in response, though it made her look cute rather than angry. “You just don’t understand horror do you? It all works because the audience is safe and so can be scared cause they know it only exists on the screen. You need those safe places for other things or it just doesn’t work right.†She struck what she hoped was a pretty decent stance and tried to sound decisive in this matter. “That’s why we’re going to stop what you're doing.â€

The uniformed officers rapidly arrived on the scene and quickly took control of the scene arresting the two thugs in short order. For now they kept a distance from Mirror, some heroes liked to keep their distance from the law until they were ready, especial the cowls of the city. There was something not quite right about it all though they seemed to be looking for something or someone fom the shop that was apparently missing. Perhaps they were waiting for one of the detectives to come onto the scene?

With the tak of the two children her mode soon however turned more somber. “It’s not quite the same but I understand what they're going through, I was a mess when I realised everything I knew was gone forever. If it won’t do any harm I’d like to try and talk with them, maybe I can act as a kindred spirit?â€

Groome Lake Mine, Nevada As Dancia zoomed across the country at speed amazed at how similar but subtly different this United States was from her adopted home. And it still seemed familiar to her somehow, was this her original home was that why she felt like she knew this place, was that why she knew were her double had gone? In a few second she touched down on a salt flat in Nevada, an area could have never entered back on Prime, ahead of her was the range of hills scared with the signs of mining. Apparently, it was abandoned though she didn't know if it was her duplicate or more to do with what else was going on in the world. She did know she'd find out some of her answers in the darkness of the mine. With as much confidence as she could manage she stepped into the mouth of the mine and into the darkness.

There’s a bit of vampire in me with a dash of zombie. My mother was bitten by a vampire and almost turned when she was pregnant with me, they moved to Freedom City to avoid the shame of it all and told me nothing. I thought for a while it might have been Dracula, we’re Harker’s after all, but it turned out it was another Elder vampire trying to improve the breed.†her tone suggested she wasn’t happy with his efforts “I wouldn’t have know anything about it but I volunteered to try a gangster bought in by one of the first mystery men. He got sent to prison but his men got their revenge on me with a bullet to the brain.†she moved up her hair to show a small scar on her forehead “Then I spent the rest of the 20th Century in concrete until some monster attack in 2011 woke me from my slumber.†she seemed pretty calm and fine with the whole thing.

Dancia could normally manage to tune out the sounds normally beyond human hearing, common sounds in modern cities, but the continuous sounds she was picking up was difficult to ignore. It was almost similar to echo location she’d heard in dolphins, and she was fairly sure that there was none here watching the games. Whilst it was irritating, she really had to concentrate to follow this damn game, but it didn’t worry her right now it didn't appear to be a threat in any way. Maybe it was just another hero enjoying the game, but probably not a dolphin. The smoke however was another deal that was someone trying to draw others attention. A quick check with her X-Ray vision showed it wasn’t anything serious like a fire, apparently it was just cover for a hero to get changed (and she didn’t pry into their identity). “Well this could be more interesting than a baseball game, maybe even front page news.†she spoke quietly to herself “But first thing’s first let’s make sure that it’s nothing dangerous.†Quietly backing out of the press box as the other journalists surged forward to see what was going on. Flying down the corridors she quickly changed into her costume, obvious it was wise to bring it with her, and she flew in a wide arc before gently floating down into the stadium as of she happened to be passing by. “Please everyone remain calm, you not in any danger it’s just harmless smoke.†Once she knew it was safe to do so she gently blew the smoke away, hoping it would calm people down before trouble started.

Erica was walking around in little circles trying to take in everything at once. She started to take a few pictures as she took in the scene’s. “That dragon floating around it’s not the same as you told me about boss? I’m sure they tend to keep grudges†“I’m pretty sure that the one i fought wasn’t quite real, just hope I didn’t upset any bee’s.†suppressing a laugh she fell into step with Stesha “She’s a hard worker but one reason I keep her around is how amazed she is by everything in our world. I’m not sure if it’s something with being undead but nothing seemed to phase me anymore. I worry sometimes that I might eventually lose touch with the world and there's not many people around to compare note with.â€

To celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival this year, and not random coincidence and chance , I'm dusting off an idea for a thread set in Japan. I've already got one brave volunteer but I'm after another to get involved in a mystery in Tokoyo. I'm happy with characters in the 8=12 range and whilst Japanese would be nice it#s not essential.
