Triakosia's Notice Roll: 1d20+6 12

Dancia wasn’t a massive sport fan, she’d never found the time since arriving on this Earth, but when the assigned reporter for this story had fallen ill it was an opportunity she couldn’t refuse. Her work on there web site was beginning to get some recognition and she’d even had a few, very minor, articles printed in the Ledger. An article in the sports pages could be the making of her. Whilst she could have flown to Sapporo in minutes but instead accepted the rather cramped seat on the first flight out to Tokyo, though she flew herself the rest of the way, so she could take a very rapid crash course in the rules and terminology off the game. And still she was still probably writing ten times what everyone else was, it helped she could write much fast than most people. Whist she might have been able to get away with her costume she’d gone for a rather more conservative suit, though the costume was nearby just in case. She’d started to wear glasses as well to hide her identity a little more, it couldn’t hurt to be cautious just in case.

How could it be her if this all happened in 1918? She did think she was older than she'd appeared, but yet... If she concentrated she could remember details places that seemed exactly like this places. Maybe this was from her future, or even her past and she couldn't remember it now for some reason. "How long has it been since the city was attacked?" "Just over a year ago, time moves differently here from you own Earth you can spend days here and when you return only a moment has passed.†It was the least of her worries right now but at least she wouldn't be missed from her day job "What happened to... her... after the attack?" "She just left flying off towards the west, no one know where she went, or they don't care to say to anyone. What are you planning to do?" "I'm going to find her and make sure she can't hurt anyone else. wait here I'll be right back." With that she took the air flying rapid out towards the west. somehow she knew exactly where she'd find herself.

GM Post “We’ll see about that let’s get them.†it wasn’t the most original battle cry, but muggers have never been known for their originality. Blodeuwedd sumulsalted into the crowd of muggers and began to attack them, not even bothering to draw her sword. She was apparently enjoying herself. “Coffee sounds like a good idea after a good workout like this. Shall we go back to your place?†The woman gave a little squeal and hid herself behind a trash can, but still within sight of Tona. <â€Are you not Princess Clémentine IV heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Foix? You look so much like her! It is a shame if you not the timing could be most fortuitous.â€>

Erica gave a nervous little wave as Stesha introduced herself, obviously not yet trusting herself to speak. As the conversation moved onto technology and Lucy started to look a little lost that she found her voice. “It’s okay Lucy I understood that perfectly.†“I guess that means we’re all go for a little journey. If we’re all ready to leave that is?†Erica had wasted no time and already had her cell phone and her lunch bag ready in hand. “Hell beats another lunch break in the park. I believe we’re ready Mz de Joie.â€

Sitara stood forwards hands outstretched to show she didn’t mean any harm. She also made opaque so Gorgon could see her face, though it probably wouldn’t make much difference. “We have an alliances of many worlds fighting the Communion on many front’s, even now many brave souls are fighting to halt the Communions efforts.†She knew that Gorgon wouldn’t care about details like that, only that they were fighting the Communion, but she felt that such thing should be said. “We are here to ask if you would aid us on a specific task, one well suited to you significant talents.â€

This wasn't time she’d seen a sky full of attackers and she had a sneaking suspicion that it wouldn’t be the last. Now as always the best idea would be to clear as many of them as she could. Okay let’s try and get rid of many of them as we can before they get to the ground. It’s like a literal giant game of Space Invaders. To prove her point she concentrated drawing all her power into a massive ball of energy that she deftly threw into the advancing hordes of Antibodies. really it was difficult not to hit something , there were just so many of them.

“That sounds like a good idea, though I need to ask you one favor.†as Lucy talked she got up and walked quietly to the offices door before flinging it open. As she did a rather surprised Erica fell through into the room, apparently she’d been listening at the door. “Oh hey boss you’d started talking so rather than disturb you I thought I’d wait outside. Oh look I got you coffee.†Lucy just smiled and offered a hand to offer her up. “I’m trying my best but with so much technology I’m not quite up with everything yet. Do you mind if Erica come along to take a few photographs and maybe record a few things?†The poor girl looked she was going to collapse again.

Supporting Cast Erica North : Young woman who's currently helping Lucy with the mechanical and electronic side of her law practice. As with a lot of people in Freedom City she's a fan of Superheroes and keep up on the news and gossip about them. First Seen: The Grey Areas.
-
Location : The Offices of Lucy Harker, Attorney at Law It wasn’t a massive space you could fit in more than three or four unless they were prepared to get very intimate. With some very creative effort she’d managed to fit in two mismatched desks and a similar chairs. One of the desk belonged to Erica North, who assisted Lucy even though couldn’t pay her that well, and was rather utilitarian with only a laptop and complicated looking phone. Erica was Lucy's connection with the 21st century handling all the task Lucy hadn’t yet been able to master. Lucy wasn’t a technophobe but even without sleep it wasn’t easy to catch up on everything. Lucy’s desk was a little more cluttered, some of her poorer clients paid in goods rather than money and she tended to keep around a few trinkets. An ancient typewriter and rotary dial telephone, though not as old as herself, dominated the desk. But she also had a little statue of Ganesh and a Bonsai tree that Lucy spent many an hour, out of office hours. First Seen: Also See:

“I know a few people we might be able to temporarily house a few at a time for a couple of weeks at a time. I you want I can keep an eye on them and show them the sights, I know what’s it like to arrive from nowhere to this bustling city. Obviously all this won’t be as you lawyer, just helping out. One advantage of not sleeping is that I have plenty of time to help out.†she gave another of her friendly smiles. “I can maybe hurry thing along but we’re still talking month of paperwork and interviews, though we could probably do some of it at Sanctuary if you don’t mind taking people there.â€

Dancia looked with some horror at the devastation laid upon the city below her wondering what or who could cause such destructions. And there was something familiar about the skyline that reminded of somewhere else. "It was 1918 when the stranger arrived on the streets of Freedom City. In a maddened state they rampaged destroying almost everything in their path nothing could stop them, this world never had super's before." "Who was it who did all this?" The woman held up a newspaper from that time with a photograph of the mysterious assailant. Though the photo was blurry she recognized the feature underneath those crazed eyes. "That person was you."

“I’m not sure if you knew this but I’m the daughter of immigrants who fled here from overseas, from a darkness that had threatened my mother. I grew up here in the West End among the immigrants from a dozen or more different countries. I stay here to help though people now as I did when I could back then. I would say you’ve come to the right person.†She gave a smile as she shut the folder. “There have been quite a few cases of people from parallels moving to our’s, I believe one world even sends an ambassador to our own. If there from a here you could even argue that they are already citizen of an United States and are therefore already granted the right to stay. We can begin working on this right away, but it might take awhile, if some of them can’t wait you might want to find somewhere that would house them while the claims go through.â€

Lucy gave a reassuring smile she’d had heard about Stesha complicated divorce, Erica couldn’t stop talking about it for weeks and Lawyers could be as big a gossips as everyone else. She’d wished she could have help her that time as well, she was sure she could have done a much better job. “The last time I tried a big public case I ended up getting murdered.†she gestured to a framed paper from the 1920’s “And don’t worry the whole undead thing doesn’t bother me, in fact the happiest people I’ve met seem to be undead.†to back this up she gave the Stasha a reassuring smile. “We can do things to keep things quiet. It’ll mean late starts and end of the day sessions for a start and other little tricks not to draw attention.â€

Dancia came back round the world around her a bright white, for a second she had a memory of being somewhere else before a shape appeared in her vision the blurry shape resolving into the shape of Sabrina. "I'm sorry I had to do that but we need your help. Let me help you up." Dancia resisted the urge to pull the other woman down and allowed herself to be pulled up, still a little woozy for whatever happened, to find herself in a ruined building open to the sky. "The dimensional transport can be a little disorientating, though you've recovered quicker than most." "Dimensional does that mean I'm on another Earth?" Without replying the other woman gently steered her towards the window. Beyond was a skyline of a city but one that apparently been damaged and never repaired from a great battle.

As Stesha began to explain thing Lucy began to take notes on a large pad of paper with a fountain pen. “Good the world been documented that help, we could use a copy as part of you claim. And I;ll be honest if the records are held by the League I wouldn’t mind a chance to collect it myself. Beside I don’t think poor Erica could make it past the door without exploding from excitement.†She continued to make a few notes for a few more seconds as she considered the possible options. “I think there is something we can do here. It’s clouded in complicated it complicated legal terms but in simple terms we declare you the guardian of the place looking after it’s interest, the fact that it’s not an populated by a foreign nation helps. All we have to prove is that the inhabitants are happy for you to fulfil this task. As funny as it would be for a giant bee to appear in court filmed evidence should be sufficient. †She leant forward slightly hand clasped her face taking on a serious manner. “One question is how big a deal do you want to make about all this? Obviously you know what a big deal anything superhero related, if you wanted you could use that publicity to help you claim. It would probably attract the wrong type of attention to the case and probably Sanctuary.â€

The man gave an embarrassed look at the teens, he seemed almost mortified by his faux pas. “Of cause how remiss of me. I am called Tendaji. If you are the American’s from Claremont Academy I have been asked to take you to someone who can explain why you have been asked here.†As far as they could tell he was being honest in what he was saying.

GM Post There were many unusual reactions that target’s had when faced with a heroes, or even the fact that they were being mugged, but this one was high on the strange list. The young woman looked up at Tona with a mix of surprise and awe babbling away in French. <â€Oh my god Clémentine is that you? Is this where you’ve been all this time.â€> The lead mugger however spoke in a lot more direct manner “Thing is I count ten of us and only one of you I’d say you’re ****ed!†Without any warning there was a clear slightly accented voice, soon joined by a shape crouched on one of the dumpsters. That of one of Blue Jay’s Claremont friends Blodeuwedd. “I’d say you’d better figure those odds out again. Nice to see you again Blue Jay I was on my way to visit anyhow.â€

Rather than stretch this out we'll say the thug goes down and we can get on with the plot. Up to you if Mirror stay's around or not, if he's bailing give me a Notice roll.
-
With a well aimed blast the second thug went sprawling to the ground finally having been taken down. As he did a little murmur went through the watching crowds and even when he did recover he wouldn’t be leaving in a hurry. Almost on cue the sound of sirens were heard off in the distance, Freedom Cities finest would quite soon be on the scene.
