  1. More Shocking Freedom City, New Jersey 11:12 PM, December 26, 2014 Blodeuwedd had trained and pushed her body as far as any average person her age could, she could have been a world class athlete if she chose, instead she donned a costume to fight crime in Freedom City. But even at her physical best she couldn’t strive of sleep forever and her body was exhausted from several day’s of protecting the city. She’d found a secluded rooftop and had rested her eye for what she was sure was only a second when Errant’s call came through the mental airwaves. Normal she instinctively tried to block mental conversation, but today she expected such thing and let her mental defense down, a little. Freedom Hall, I have eyes on something happening. Not sure what, no one is getting close enough for me to get perfect details. For a few second’s she considered ignoring the messages, she’d deserved the rest after all she done didn’t she? Her body knew better and she had hauled herself to her feet before her tired brain had had chance to catch up. A few second later she was jumping from rooftop to rooftop making her way to the hallowed Freedom Hall. Relying on more mundane methods she arrived just behind Glamazon, but her vantage point allowed her to see the madman Stratos and the only less sane Medea. Launching herself into the air Blodeuwedd somersaulted down to the ground landing defly, and silently out of habit, and sent a series of throwing knives towards the villain. “Glamazon behind you.†With the warning Blodeuwedd kept moving, so not to become a target herself, so had to hope the other girl was okay. Luckily Errant’s arrival divided their attention allowing Blodeuwedd to avoid their attacks. She paused and striking a defensive pose whilst she drew her sword Dyrnwyn, it’s eldritch blue light casting a unearthly glow to the area. Stratos had began to pontificate but she wasn’t really paying attention to what he was saying instead declaring his ranting as crazy, a mistake as it turned out, as she was paying attention to Medea as she avoided her attacks. There was something also about Medea’s body language that suggested that she wasn’t completely happy with Stratos, maybe it was something that they could use they’d only need to ... Lighting flashed across the area and while her suit was insulated to some degree it couldn’t protect her from it all and she, and the other were brought down by Stratos’s attack. For the second time in less than an hour Blodeuwedd considered just staying down and letting the others sort this out, but she was just too stubborn to stay down. Apparently they didn’t trust the heroes to keep down as each was held down with multiple hands. All she could do was lift her head and stare again into Meda’s face. Again there was that look in her face and though later Blodeuwedd could never be sure there was a moment when they exchanged look and Medea apparently made up her mind. “You’re the sea god’s latest bastard right? The royal.†Medea long beef with the Olympians obviously applied to their descendents. “I assume you know what it means to swear on the River Styx then.†The Greek god’s influence had been minimal on the Order, they’d wisely stayed out of there way and instead made deals through the local Celtic deities instead, but the Order still taught Greek myths and legends to it people just in case. “It’s places a tynged, a geas, that we must aid you once when asked. It’s not just a point of honour it would be a mystical bond between us all.†she explained Medea’s term, more for Errant’s benefit than anything else. Her face screwed up in displeasure to be beholden to a villain like Medea was not an idea she was happy wit, it was against the very principles of the Order, but if she refused then all could be lost and there was much greater thing going on than one small warriors ethical conflicts. it was ironic that she could be brought low by a tynged, just like the original Blodeuwedd. “Blodeuwedd tyngu ar y Styx i gynorthwyo pan Medea yn galw.†it didn’t matter on the languaged she used Medea would know that the oath was real. And true to her word medea lowered her bind, as soon as she did Blodeuwedd was on her feet snatching up Dyrnwyn as she ran not towards the machine but towards her ally Glamazon. She knew she could disable the machine but she couldn’t make the distance to the machine even with her athletic prowess. “Thaelia I need a little boost if you please.†the Atlantean warrior knew what to do, they’d practiced it before at Claremont's and she prepared her hand so that Blodeuwedd could use it as a springboard towards the machine, Thaelia not unsubstantial strength providing a powerful boost. As she flew through the air she felt the gentle telekinetic hand of errant making sure that her tumble was straight and true. As she landed she swung the sword around and plunged it deeply into the controls of the drill, disabling it completely. Whilst she did that Errant finally put pay to Stratos, though as expected medea had already fled the scene, and normally that would be it and they could stop to enjoy the victory. But there was still chaos raining accross Freedom City and the oath she was forced to give left a bitter taste in her mouth. Tomorrow she would sleep but for now the city was calling.

  3. Relaxing with a drink already in hand, they staff already knew what she liked, Sitara took the opportunity to enjoy the rest of the conversation as Kharag finally figured out exactly what they’d been talking about all this time. Beaming a smile she turned toward the Praetorian sat next to them and whispered into there ear. “Do you want to be the one to explain to him the concept of a bar tab? Because it could either be an uphill battle or cost us a small fortune.†there was amusement in her voice.
  4. “Sorry to disturb you Doctor we just need a quick look around the place.†she gave him a warm friendly smile “I promise that we’ll stay out of you way to get on with you work.†She honestly didn't expect to find much amiss, but best to look around just in case. but out of courtesy she paused to wait for the doctor to agree before they looked around further.
  5. Lucy looked around at the fallen foes with some concern, not for herself being dead made her immune to their infection, but for the fallen themselves. “Is there nothing we can do for them? Something that doesn't involve fire or beheadings. With what you know someone must be able to find a cure for this.â€
  6. Lucy checked around to make sure that everyone was out, she then moved over to check the crate that contained the artifact. “Remember that this is a guardian creature, I suspect that they planned to animate it in some way. They must have wanted it to find something for them.†She checked around the crate for any possible damage to it or maybe even the statue. “I think we should get this back to it owner before something unpleasant happens.â€
  7. Whilst she’d inherited much from her vampire father-in-darkness an affinity with blood wasn’t one of them, which was one thing she was quite glad about. So wisely she stayed at the back and allowed Blue Jay to do what apparently she did best. If they were all lucky they wouldn’t need much of her help at all, maybe just help carry out survivors. The fact that AEGIS had asked her along suggested that they thought otherwise.
  8. It must have been the way he was written because she really didn’t like this character, but then that was sort of the plot. No one wanted to have a like able slasher, that way led to parody. It was obvious that someone else was pulling the strings and they would find out, but first they needed to take this guy down. Keeping her arms extended she whipped them around, deftly avoiding the other heroes, and managed to landed a few, hopefully solid, blows on the character.
  9. Miss Grue's Attack Roll: 1d20+10 19.
  10. Daphne gave a little sigh this wasn’t going well at all, in fact it was a complete disaster. But that wouldn’t stop her doing everything that she could to stop this getting any worse. but first she had to catch up with the action. Jumping to her feet she moved as fast as she could to catch up with the mud monster going over options to try to halt the beast as she went along.
  11. Daphne knew all she needed to learn about a place from her many, many hours watching television and movies. Tonight she’d gone for the traditional pizza delivery gambit. Looking for all the world like a Pizza delivery girl she confidently walked up to the guards. “Hi there I’ve got an order here for you guys, someone named Al Driogo paid for ‘em.†No one would turn down free pizza, even if they didn’t believe the story, plus in thinking of there boss gave her a better chance to learn his location. Them thinking bout him would make it easier as she scanned their brains for just such information.
  12. “It’s the red skin isn’t it? I was thinking for going for a friendlier green, I think it would work much better for me.†she beamed a large friendly smile She didn’t seem right now that she was an evil shape shifting conqueror, but then again that would be what they wanted her to think. “I promise you that I’m one of the good guys. What do I need to do convince you that i’m on you side?â€
  13. “You could say I was born into it.†Blodeuwedd gave a tight little smile “I’ve spent a while learning about various supernatural threats and how to deal with them, I like to make sure that they never become a threat†Blodeuwedd rested her head on her hands and looked at Lynn a little more closely, something about her whole body language was a little off. “Of cause not every supernatural threat is as obvious as the Gwyllgi. I believe you were going to explain how you managed those tricks earlier.â€
  14. Blodeuwedd was quiet for a few minutes as she considered the various options the help Giang, between them they probably had the skill and contact necessary to help out. it would just take a while to put things into action. “How do you want to proceed was this?†The decision here would ultimately come down to Giang.
  15. So apparently these women were ending some sort of turf war, in a rather deadly manner, Freedom City being what it was powered gangster weren’t even that uncommon. Though it still didn’t make what they did right in any way. “So apparently they have some sort of list they’re working through. I’m sure that if you knew where they’d go next you’d tell me, right!†it was framed more as a statement than a question “After all you wouldn’t want me to come back to settle thing now, would you?†she gave a rather wicked smile.
  16. Blodeuwedd spent the time as her duplicate proved himself examining his feature, it was weird to pick out details that was familiar to her own features it was like he was a brother. For someone who’d never had an family beyond the Order it was a strange feeling. in fact the duplicate thing didn’t bother her at all, more a desire to get to know her duplicate better. With a rather relaxed, almost bored voice, she explained to Tona. “These are our duplicates from another universe.â€
  17. I guess getting there attention worked to well . Toughness Save: 1d20+10 14, hp for a reroll Toughness Save: 1d20+10 21. So still in the game.
  18. Daphne had been spending her day filming various animals for her media course, nature documentaries was the project she’d been assigned. Animals were a fascinating anyway there thought were a little fuzzy, mostly just emotions and desires, but sharply focused compared to human complicated twisting minds. She’d been watching one of the Boa Constrictors when the general hue and cry began to echo round the zoo. “I don’t suppose you have anything to say that’s helpful?†she asked the sleeping snake “That’s if you can understand my Parseltongue.â€
  19. Lucy looked grim as Red Rat examine the man she definitely didn’t like the way they were treating this like a game, the next time they’d met she’d be sure to drive the point home. “In matters like this it always does. How fast can you move? Because I could quite happily carry us at a decent rate of speed, though I won’t be breaking any speed laws. Though first we better make sure that helps on the way for this man.â€
  20. Triakosia wasn’t sure how, like many things in her past, but she had some military training in her past. It rarely applied in general superheroing but right now it seemed a good time to attempt to apply some basic tactics. “I suggest we set up some form of layer defense with those of us that can fly trying to stop to many of them getting to the ground. then the rest can mop up an stragglers.†Maybe when this was over she could ask one of these psychic’s to probe a little deep and maybe find out more about her past.
  21. Some people thought forms were magnificent things to observe full of power and glory that shone with the power within, Miss Grue was well just Miss Grue she already had a strong sense of exactly who she was. Of cause it helped that she was a shapeshifter than could look exactly how she wanted. Right now she grew to massive size and reached out to seize one of the drone, her thinking was simple if she looked big she should draw the attention of the the drones. it would give the others a chance to do a little damage. “Come and show me what you can do against me you naughty, naughty little things.â€
  22. Growing to giant size she try to pluck a drone out of the (virtuasl) sky Attack Roll: 1d20+8 26 Grapple Roll: 1d20+22 40
  23. Initiative: 1d20+6 22, Triakosia must be very prepared .
  24. Sounds like you have you team already . If you have a spare slot I'd offer up Miss Grue.
  25. Miss Grue shall attempt to Grapple the nasty man using her elogation! Attack Roll: 1d20+10 22 Grapple Roll: 1d20+20 25
