Luckily for Daphne was that red skin didn't show embarrassment that well and she now had her psychic abilities back under control. Which was a good thing as they now had another problem to deal with. Obviously someone was messing around with the rules of how this show, all shows, worked. But she hoped that there was some inertia of the way that show worked and that might give them an edge against the man in front of them. So in an effect that no show like this could afford she grew two extra arms who with her original set began to grow and snake around the killer wrapping him up and hopefully subdue him for a little while.

When she was little Lucy would excitedly read about the various adventuresses and there exciting adventure in the mysterious part of the world. Now few of there names were remembered and those dark places didn’t need exploring after all. But still it was exciting to go on an adventure and even though she probably didn’t need it she patiently listened to them as they explained how the parachute was going to be used. And indeed despite her best efforts she landed badly with a snap as something in her leg went from the shuddering landing. Still her amazing undead body was already repairing itself as she got back to her unsteady feet. “What is it they say about walking away from a landing?†she gave an easy smile “Shall we go see what’s going on here?â€

Agnus stood up and look around trying to look all business like she knew what she was doing. “Okay people you heard the lady let’s do this.†She gently slapped Myrmidon on the shoulder and gave him a smile. “I’ll be your wing girl if you want, I like to think I have some skill I can keep up with the harrier at least.â€

At almost the very moment the question formed on her lips the elder aliens was gone, an extreme reaction to the Communion. there must be something that made him react so badly, if only they’d been able to find out in time. She swore literally and figuratively, loudly and creatively in her native tongue. Still there be time to consider what they’d gained and lost later, for now they’d had work to do. “Okay I want us between the Communion and the Hunters until the planet reaches it destination. I don’t want either touched by them until both are gone.â€- 102 replies

Danica had had a few moments before the rest had arrived to watch the psychic hero works, it was quite peaceful to watch them. Serene even, unless you knew what they up against. When the other arrived she was friendly but there was a certain hardness behind her voice, she knew how serious this could be having faced one of them before, and she still had a niggling feeling she faced a world threatening event like this before. One that they’d lost. “It’s a shame that we’re meeting in such circumstances, but I pleased to meet all of you.†still no need to be unfriendly. “Looks like we get to babysit. And that mean’s we’re going to rapidly find out what we can all do, I’m going to be doing mostly air support.â€

Yeah it sounds like a nice slightly different idea for a thread. You would have to think a little about the the characters and players involved.

Everything was happening so rapidly and it was difficult to keep track of it all, and Sitara couldn’t help but feel that they were tentatively close to vital information about the Communion. Only for the Lelak to leave right as he was about to reveal something vital. She turned to her fellow Praetorians she hoped that they’d trust her judgment on things. “Go help the Hunters get off the planet try to avoid contact with the Communion for as long as we can. I’m going to see if I can catch up with Lelak, he still has information that we need.â€- 102 replies

Agnus gave a frown at the mention of the Blitz, in some way she had lived through that dark time for the United Kingdom. She was also accessing all the reports of this Communion from other’s in the room, a strange sensation to receive it as it happened and not pleasant reading for anyone. “So basically there’s more we don’t know about this Communion than what we do know.†she tried to sound more relaxed than she actually was, but she felt wasn’t even fooling herself. “Look I hold no rank or authority over any of you, though technically I believe i’m a Captain but Captain Britannia sound stupid. But I’d recommend we work some kind of buddy systems, I don’t think it’s a good idea for any of us to go off fighting Communion on our own. So you and you buddy protects our birds as they do there job. And with any luck we all get to come back home, and that home to still be there.“

Tazel had apparently been apparently been sulking during the trip into down town Tokyo but now he sprung into life straining against the confines of his fleshy prison. Can't you feel it the door there protected against our kind, it'll keep me from entering the building. It wasn't the first time they'd faced such things but usually they both knew what to except before getting to close to such dangers. The woman who had been there guide paused and gave a concerned look. "Is there anything the matter?"

"If you plan to try to enter the town then you're both as good as dead, and I have no desire to join you as you ride to you death. So either let me go or put a bullet in my head, you'll be doing me a favor." The bandit leader was defiant to the last apparently more scared of what they would find in the town. Father Henri who had been quiet for a while finally spoke, his voice took on a rather grim tone. "I'm more than just a parish priests and I've dealt with similar situations in the past, but this sound worst I've heard about."

The one disadvantage of being away from the universe for so long was that they knew little about the various new, to them, interstellar powers. She vaguely remembered the Grue as various petty kingdoms battling among themselves over which one of them was the leader. With working on getting the Kavaca back up to spec she'd have little time to read up on how they were now, for all she knew they could be peaceful seekers of knowledge living in cities of crystal spires. Best to give them the benefit of the doubt for now. "Let's give them a warning about the wormhole and leave them be, though park us just above the event horizon just in case." she switched to her rusty Lor <"I apologize for the intrusion we're having some unforeseen side effects from an experiment. Be keep your distance if give off a massive burst of cosmic rays and other exotic radiation as it closes.">- 102 replies

Blodeuwedd wasn't overly concerned what what was happening, she was however naturally suspicious about such things. By their nature many Fae were tricksters and changeling and she had to be sure that her "double" was the real deal. Luckily she had just the method to test his claims, that should work regardless of what dimension they'd come from. Stepping away from the others out of courtesy, she knew that several of them weren't comfortable around it, and drew from her bag Dyrnwyn. It surface flare into light flickering with an eldritch blue flame, it flowed harmless around her hand. It's effect on the unworthy would be much more unfriendly, not to mention that the blade was cold iron. "If you're a version of me you know what the sword would do if you were lying." she flipped the sword and offered him the handle "Prove to me that you who you say you are and I'll try to help you the best I can."

Daphne shuffled a little uncomfortably as Hologram and Fast-Forward, thankfully briefly, arrived. Last time they'd met she'd acted as a complete fan-girl and embarrassed herself immensely, though thankfully things had worked out once she'd settled down. As subtly as she could she put herself as far away from Hologram as she could and made sure her telepathy was kept under very careful control. She carefully listened to Scarab as she laid out her plan to defeat this entity, she didn't have the amount of knowledge about such things as anyone here, but she wanted to make sure she helped as best she could. "Excuse me Ms Scarab but if going against this entity is so dangerous is there not another way to stop its influence? Could we not create some form of psychic interference to try and block it's signal?" she was unsure about her own idea but tried to sound confident.

Almost to the moment Fast-Forward left Triakosia took flight towards Puerto Rico at her best speed pouring everything into getting there as fast as possible. It only took her six minutes to get there and a few more minutes to find Arecibo, whilst it hadn't been long since she was last in the area she didn't know it all particularly well. It was enough time however to think about what she could expect. Ever since she'd heard about everything going on with these Communion she'd expected a call, though not quite how, the League had helped set her up after all. Not that she would have hesitated to help she remembered little but she knew it was in her nature to help. Finally, well for her, dhe found the massive dish and floated down towards Scarab. "The others are on there way. I'm Triakosia what do you need me to do?"

Christmas had been a little weird for Dancia, whilst she had warm fuzzy memories of Christmases past this would for all intent an purposes her first Christmas. But with no family that she know she'd had been looking forward to the day itself alone. Salvation had come in the form of her elderly neighbour, Rosa, who she had formed a friendship when she first moved into her apartment helping the old woman out from time to time. After a few subtle and not to subtle probing about her family the Wiley old woman had invited Dancia to spend the day with her. A rather pleasant day was coming to an end when Fast-Foward came calling asking for her help and she'd rushed to the door before the old woman asked to many questions. "There's an alley just behind the building I'll meet you there." She replied grimly to Fast-Foward, and not giving him time to reply darted back into the house. "Somethings come up at the paper Rosa and I've got to fly, will you be alright to see yourself out?" The old woman folded her arms over her chest and gave a tut. "I might be old but I'm no fool Dancia Devons. Fly is probably the right word her right?" Dancing couldn't help but smile. "Okay you got me, but I really have to go. We'll talk later I promise." It was only took a few seconds for her to get change and float down into the alley above Fast-Foward. "So where are we going today?"

For Daphne meeting superheroes wasn’t a big deal, she met them almost everyday, but people that actually appeared on television, well that was a different matter. There current perdiciment forgotten she went full on fangirl. “Ohmygodyou’reFast-ForwardandHologramfromSupercrime!Ilovethatshowandwatchitallthetime.MyfavoritewaswhenyouwenttoRoswellIhavefamilyfromthere,asyoucantell,wellnotfromtherethey morecrashedthere...†she was talking rapidly and with no need for breath she could keep this up all day. With a momentary loss of control she was broadcasting psychically, quietly for now, something that sounded like Squee!

“... and they had a Flight centre at Geneva, but they were going to explode Z-Bombs to stop the invasion. We don’t have Z-bombs do we?†Whilst Agnus sounded calm, telling anyone who would listen how this whole thing was similar to her dads favourite Sci-fi show, but inside she was a bundle of nerves. Normally this was the kind of job the big B Britannia usually dealt with, metaphorically she rescued cats from trees whilst Britannia did all the heavy lifting. But with everything going on Britannia was off doing other thing so Young Britannia had to step up to do the job. “I guess we’re the air support.†she even raised her hand “Unless you have something else in mind Jennifer?â€

High above the floor of the warehouse that Miss Grue called home the young alien hero floated in a lotus position which her main source of information, television, told her was what someone did when you needed to meditate. And right now she had a lot on her mind, could couldn’t even relax with her favourite past time. A couple of months ago she wouldn’t have been able to do this using her mental powers her mental powers had definitely been growing since she arrived on Earth. Could this happen with any free Grue? Because right now there could be quite a few suddenly freed Grue. The Union had actually sent out a message to any Grue informing all of them what had happened to their homeworld. It hadn't taken long for the advanced AI of Mother Unit to discover what was happening with the Communion. So for what seemed to be the hundredth time she was trying to decide if she should go help her own people. She owed them nothing, and by all accounts some of them had done very bad things, but they were her own species and she should try to do something. As normal her mind had began to drift, she really wasn’t good at meditation, and she started to pick up stray psychic signals. Someone or something was tapping into the humans psychic fields and effecting their minds, it reminded her of the “Despair Squid†she had beat this year though the effect tasted different. It only took a few minute to track it to a possible source, and she couldn’t help but smile at the location. Mother Unit prepare Birthing Unit, it’s a little late I know but it looks like an alien is finally going to answer that call from SETI.

In case you are curious what Bloduwedd actually said would look a little like this. "Gofal i egluro i ddefnyddio brodorion yn union ble rydych yn dod?" Never let it be said that I'm not educational .

Blodeuwedd, or Cerys as she reluctantly now reluctantly allowed friends to call her, was more than use to things suddenly appearing from out of nowhere. Not only did she currently live in a superhero school she also came in a hidden village in Wales that was often visited by the Fair Folk. It took a lot more that to unnerve of even throw the young woman off. <â€Care to explain to use natives where exactly you came from?â€> On a hunch she used she used her native Welsh. His accent reminded Blodeuwedd of her home back in Gwynedd, were many spoke Welsh as their first languages. Beside there was something about him that seemed strangely familiar...

Sitara gave a stream of work in her native tongue that would surprise several Sanskrit scholars. She’d really hoped that they’d have more time to untangle the mess that Lelak has caused all of them. “How much time do we have before they arrive? Do we have time to evacuate the HUnger before the Communion arrive?†It might make things more complicated but she wouldn’t risk their lives even if there were pirates, no one deserved to be caught by the Communion. She looked at her fellow Praetorians she had trusted them with her lives countless times in the past, and would hopefully do it many times again. “Unless you have a better idea we’re going to have to fire this thing up before the Communion arrive. Lelak seems like are only good option at the moment.â€- 102 replies

Daphne reached out to shake Asad hand only to be temporarily distracted by the fact that she was now in her Grue form. Was her flesh normally this red? It was a little confusing why however she was in this form right now, with complete control of her body it shouldn’t have happened without her know why. Unless there was something about this place... “Of cause Narrative Causality!†Narrative Causality! Where did you get that from. I read it in a book. And yes I do read book sometime, for fun and everything. “Sorry Mr Asad I am Miss Grue. I think this place work by certain rule’s that you’d expect from a TV show, like when two superheroes meet they’ll be in there costumed form because that what everyone expects.†she gave a little frown “Cause someone massed all everything together somehow so we can’t know quite what to expect.â€
