  1. With all the dust kicked up by the two giant demons fighting it was difficult to tell who was winning this titanic conflict. For what seemed to be for ever the two titanic hellspawn faught and all that Pitch and her friends could do was watch on at the struggle continued. Unfortunately it didn’t last that much longer. “It seems that despite living among these humans you are still a competent fighter, you might even best me in a fair fight. You should know by now however that I don’t fight fair.†With almost no warning there was the sound of flapping wings and the air was filled with tiny demons, mini versions of Tadyofyla, all swarming around trying to scratch and bite anyone within range. No it was impossible to see anything but these tiny biting creatures.
  2. I think either Young Britannia or Miss Grue would be good for this.
  3. Where Bloody Mess travels Revenant isn't normally far behind . Also Blodeuwedd quite handy for both street level threads and is also at Claremont.
  4. Blodeuwedd looked at Tona, her friend, and was about to say something biting about underestimating her. But instead she stopped and gave Tona a friendly smile. “Sorry I forget that this is you home and thing don’t work exactly like back home in Wales. I’ve faced gods and monsters but they're nothing like this are they?†She glanced around her to get a good feeling for the surround terrain, she didn’t quite know the place well but she’d been in similar situations. “We might make quicker progress if we stay in the treetops. Most people, even drones, don’t tend to look up. But you know this place better so you call.â€
  5. “I remember this place well, you should have seen it in it’s hey day.†her voice sounded a little distant “But that was several lifetimes ago, the owners have really let the place go.†Her ever present aura flared into brightness and she started to float a few feet from the ground. “Look I know it looks bad but Lucy is almost like family to me. I can take the lick so let me try and talk her down, whilst I do you can sneak around behind her in case things good bad.â€
  6. This was getting to be frustrating the woman wouldn’t consider giving up the information so they’d just have to subdue her first. “I really wish we didn’t have to do it this way, but you’ve been asking for all this.†She lept from building to building ready upon landing to strike the very anoying young woman. The leap was perfect, or near perfect, but the landing was less than stellar and possible blow against the woman went well wide as Lucy struggled to regain her balance.

  8. It had been a while but Lucy had played a little card back in the 20’s, though she was more of a whist player, the old lawyers like to show of their prowess with the cards whilst smoking big cigars and drinking whiskey (despite the fact it was illegal at the time). She use to enjoy soundly beating them then and it seemed that things hadn’t change much in the last ninety years. the only danger was that everyone was looking at each other for all those little tells, and in such scrutiny it wouldn’t be long until people started to notice important things. Like the fact that se didn’t blink or even breath. It was difficult to fake such things and concentrate on the game at the same time.

  10. Okay fixed the strike mode, dropped the Auto fire and added a ranged stun. Also added the I am legend complication.
  11. Okay maybe a few refinements here and there but I think she's done. So are there any really glaring errors?
  12. The Traveller Tiffany Korta Origin: Indus Valley, Earth Archetype: Battlesuit Mode of Travel: Spaceship Typical Haunts: Travels around the galaxy It look like she will be joining Thev's Imperial Guard, or you know did a long time ago in the past.
  13. Still thinking through idea for a space based hero. Player Name: Tiffany Korta Character Name: The Traveller Power Level: (10) (150/150PP) Trade-Offs: +/-0 Attack / +/-0 Damage, +/-0 Defense / +/-0 Toughness (or "None") Unspent Power Points: 0 Progress To Bronze Status: 0/30 In Brief: A warriror-scholar who has spent millenia wandering the galaxy helping people. Residence: A citizen of the Universe Base of Operations: Space Catchphrase: "In all mine time wandering the Universe.." Alternate Identity: Sitara Shashikala Identity: Public Birthplace: Indus Valley, Earth Occupation: Soldier, Scholar and Explorer Affiliations: (People and/or groups you work with) Family: Long dead Description: Age: 5,000 Apparent Age: 30 Gender: Female Ethnicity: South Asian. Height: 5'8" Weight: 119 lbs. Eyes: Brown Hair: Black Though her biology has been massively altered by her masters on the outside she appears much as she did when she left Earth all those Millennia ago. She tend to go for simple comfortable clothing normally the jump suit she wears inside her armour. The armour itself if a thing of beauty appearing to be ceramic of some kind it's a sparkling white with fine intricate engraving on it surface in a Aztec or even Celtic style abstract forms, only the faceplate in unformatted just appearing as a black surface. Which Sitara can cause to opaque as needed. Underneath the armoured plates there seems to be a number of fine interlocking cog like mess that seems to move and shift as the armour moves about. Similarly designed the power pike that she carries is similarly designed with the intricate patterning on it's surface the weapon is designed to be split into two parts but the join is so fine that it's almost impossible to tell. Power Descriptions: Sitara has had her biochemistry radically altered to such an extent that's she's not technically human any more. Thanks to these alteration she is effectively immortal and can fight off any infections in the environment. Her biorhythmic field has also been altered, which synch's up with the armour and pike own power systems, meaning that only she can use the equipment. History: Over four thousand years ago there existed a peaceful race of aliens, the mArttik Avata, who gave there time to peaceful pursuits to expand there knowledge of the universe. Unfortunately in there travels they came across another race, the Amitra, as advanced as themselves but with an interest in only violence and conquest. Unable to even consider committing violence against another creature the mArttik Avata could not bring themselves to fight the Amitra directly, but they knew that if they did not challenge the Amitra they would conquer and enslave, if not destroy, all the other fledgling races that inhabited the galaxy. So they decided that they would form a army from some of the more primitive races who would fight this vital battle for the future of the galaxy for them. One of these planets they choose was Earth. Sitara who lived among the flowering Indus valley civilization had always been curious travelling for many miles from her home city to see what was beyond the next hill. When the strangers from the stars came it was not long before she had travelled to visit these strange creatures from beyond. When they asked for volunteers to journey with them to fight among the stars she didn't hesitate to volunteer, even though she had never raised even her voice in anger, she would do almost anything to explore the stars above her. They must have seen something in the young woman for she was one of the few choosen to serve these aliens. The mArttik Avata took her, along with many others, to there home planet where they radically altered her biochemistry and began to teach them all that they knew. Not only did they train them to fight effectively with all the weapons available to them they also taught them all that they knew about the sciences and the universe around them. Then the were set loose to fight in one of the most brutal wars of that era which took a massive toil on there forces, but they knew that they needed to fight on or all would be lost. Sitara doesn't know how the war was final ended, gravely injured in a battle she was placed in a healing pod. When she awoke thousands of years had passed and there was no sign of either the mArttik Avata her or the Amitra that they fought. After awaking she wandered the universe helping those in trouble where she could learning what she could about the galaxy she was now in, trying to find out what had happened to those she fought alongside. Eventually she fell into another group that were trying to protect the universe from threats and once again she was placed on suspension, from which she has only recently awoken. Personality & Motivation: Even after the millennia of wandering the universe Sitara's curiosity hasn't been sated, she still has a strong desire to explore and discover new things. There is always the next planet where something new can be found. Seeing the worst that the universe can offer has left Sitara a little jaded and slow to full trust others but she had also seen the best of the universe and has a guarded optimism about how things will pan out. She tend to hide her true feeling behind a confident bluster with a thick veil of humour, she lives her life hard as if all those centuries of travel could come to an end tomorrow. Powers & Tactics: Sitara was trained as a soldier and tend to try and break things down into an military encounter always looking for the best tactical advantage before striking. That said she can in the heat of battle become a little gun-ho. Complications: It was here last time... : Sitara has gained vast knowledge about the people and places of the universe. Unfortunately some of her information can be centuries, if not millennia out of date. We have plenty of time : After millennia of existence, plus a push towards perfection, means that Sitara finds difficult to rush things. Even if she has only second to disarm a bomb she will stay until the very last second. Distracted by the shiny: Sitara was taught by the raise that recruited her to find the beauty in the universe around her, sometimes she can get carried away and focus on the beauty, be it a sunrise or an intricate device, to the detriment of more important things going on around her. I am Legend: Those that Sitara fought for, both four thousand and a thousand years ago, have become legends among modern races. In some they are revered as heros, lifted up to god like presence, other however remember them as cruel conquerors or even evil destroying demons. 14. Lucy couldn’t taste the wine to be able to identify it’s form, beside normally she didn’t drink wine, so she politely sipped the drink whilst trying to get a reading on her fellow gamblers. In her younger days she moved with some of the more important people of the city, admittedly doing something that was at the time illegal, but now she spent a lot of time on the street meeting a wide range of people from different places. So no one here was really from any circles she currently travelled, though she’d be surprised if she was the only hero here. She took a stance of a bored socialite waiting for things to finally happen, something she saw a lot back in the day, mostly as a way of saying look at me I’m pretty and important.
  15. Notice: 1d20+16 25 Streetwise: 1d20+11 12 No tactic's, so no idea Sense Motive: 1d20+11 20 So not a clue about anyone! I'm going to deliberately skip the roll on the wine specially as it's probably after her time and she can't smell or taste the wine.
  16. Triakosia was about to call it a day and stopped flying around the city looking for trouble, so she could have a little personal time, when she picked up the radio broadcast. All of them reaching back toward where the signal was coming from, she couldn’t hear the radio signal itself but it wasn’t difficult to find the source of the problem, or at least it Earthly source. Oh well she hadn’t had anything to special planned. With a little sigh she flew towards where she believed the signal has originally been broadcast from to try and get to the bottom of this possible problem.
  17. By her natural inclination Blodeuwedd wasn’t as flashy as Scarab’s, she prefered to operate from the shadows. From the safety of the rooftop she watched the other heroes action with some interest, though she suspected that it would be difficult for them as heroes to gather the information they needed. Even as she watched an idea formed, a way of doing things that she had been trained to do what seemed to be so very long ago. “Maybe going in like this isn’t the best idea. Perhaps we should approach this in another way and enter the Youth center undercover?â€
  18. Triakosia Triakosia was a little disoriented, more so than the others, as she stepped out of the cryoenic booth. For some reason she seemed to have a memory of doing something similar in her pass, though it couldn’t have happened in the past could it? Whilst she was still a little disorientated from the process her senses were still as sharp as even and despite the swirling radiation from outside she could still see and hear what was going on in the nearby are of this ship. “I’m Triakosia, though introduction might have to wait for a little while there seems to be someone one coming this way.â€
  19. Ah how could we fight the power of PLOT!
  20. One advantage that Dancia had over the other reporters was that she could hear what was going on stage from the comfort of the Green Room. She’d had been listening to the start of Wayward’s routine and almost straight away realised that something was amiss, especially with the concerned hush among the crowd. The one disadvantage was that she couldn’t reach the stage at the speed that she could have achieved as Triakosia. So officially she only caught the last few minutes of the exchange between Wayward and her manager, though she took a second to check the young superstar for any kind of implants or mind control just instead. She smiled at the other reporter as instead of concentrating on the star she went for the manager to try and as subtly as she could get control of the situation. “If you don’t mind my opinion you’d better make some kind of announcement, and pretty quick as well. But I’d wouldn’t think of bringing that other band back on, maybe there someone else in the City you could call upon?â€
  21. With her work with Vanguard and the surprising rise in interest in her little recording studio, at least one major star was in talk to use her studio, Agnus hadn’t had any time to visit her on again off again boyfriend. In fact if it wasn’t for her manager she would have forgot about this event that they had planning attend what seemed like years ago. If it wasn’t so important she would have probably skipped the event. Being a serious event she had decided to downplay her own appearance, wearing only a pair of jeans and a simple blouse, she even skipped her normal platform for a simple pair of flat shoes. Nothing was designer all stuff she bought from various charity shops around London. She arrived just after Asad had also arrived and as normal they’d almost instantly been caught up in a series of photo but the assembled press, during the first round of photographs she lent in and whispered into Asad’s ear. “You look different, have you done something with you hair?â€
  22. Sense Motive: 1d20+6 20
  23. Dancia took note of all that Gretchen said, though she didn’t plan to use most of it, it was more out of habit than anything else. She nibbled on the rather good cookies as the other woman talked about the store. “Don’t worry I’m not planning a hatchet job on this place, however loathsome that Maddy might be, through the generous store owner is a good angle. Can I quote you on that or would to prefer to be an anonymous source?†She didn't like such sources, especially in more serious stories, as it tended to suggest shady dealings, but was a little uncaring not to offer such things. She drained the last dregs of the coffee and politely asked for a refill, even though the caffeine didn’t affect her much she seemed to survive on such things.
  24. For her part Dancia Devon, the before mentioned Triakosia, was a little torn about this trip. The reporter in her was kicking herself that she would be unable to write about this once in a lifetime opportunity to report on this hopefully historic event. Though on the other hand she was more than happy to help the League after all they had done to help her after her arrival. She sat calmly in the Pegasus waiting for them to be allowed to land, it felt natural to do this like she had been in this situation before. “It’s a shame we couldn’t have flow here under our own power. I assume there is a good reason we couldn’t do such a thing?â€
  25. “Oh I’ve some experience of visiting dreams before, me and a friend sorted out a little problem there.†she gave her best comforting smile. As Daphne stepped forwards she thought about Rene and there little trip into the dreamlands, if it was something similiar she’d have to contact him for his experience. As they hadn’t swapped numbers, she wasn’t sure he even had a phone, she’d have to use her mind to do so. For now she cleared her mind of such things and reached out with her mind to probe this woman to try and find out exactly what was going on here.
