  1. Shrinking back down to normal Daphne looked up at Red Moon still trying to workout how exactly she got her ass handed to her. Still she supposed that things could have been a lot, lot, worse. Accepting the hand she lifted herself back onto her feet. A name she supposed she should really have a hero names but she had been having so much fun she’d never actually bothered to think of one herself. “Well I’m Miss... well definitely a Miss at leasts, and erm.†trying to distract from her lack of name she added “And we should probably chase after him before he get’s too far.â€
  2. Smiling as part of the act and because her act was working she whispered in his ear, and hopeful he didn’t notice she wasn’t on tip toes, and whispered in his ear. “I get off in five, just finish this order, why don’t you go wait over there?†She pointed to the staff entrance in the opposite direction from where she planned to take Swish if she had a chance. Talking if which with a “accidental†bush with her arm she tagged his mentally, not something she normally did, in case she had to find him at a distance.
  3. It was sweet how they worried about her maybe it was the whole pale skill all in black things but sometimes they thought she had a deathwish. Yeah she was a little fatalistic at times but that didn’t mean she was planning on dying right now. It was a bit of a gamble but she knew that Dyrnwyn had a link to home that she could use in an emergency. Not that she was planing to use it unless absolutely necessary. But apparently this world wasn’t finished surprising them. “There something coming this way Tona something that doesn’t look friendly. You better have a look at this I’ll drop you a line.†Knowing even Tona couldn’t find her when she wanted she dropped the girl her grapple so she could find the tree she was up.
  4. “More like the vampire equivalent of a little Miss Havisham locked away in the attic.†she gave a little smile “I’m not exactly a vampire but I do have vampire in my ancestry. If you want we can wait until dawn or any of the other tests for vampire, except maybe for beheading and fire especially as they’d affect most of us.†She took another step toward the man showing no fear of the man despite the fact that he towered over her. “Or if you want you can read my mind, I’ll do what I can to allow you access.†her statement was the truth, with no hint of deception in her voice.
  5. Dancia waited until the other guy went to check out the ruined camera before she went into action, taking in everything that they had to say. “Maybe some hero is looking after us, now keep an eye out on them I’ve got get something from the car.†It wasn’t as elegant as she’d like but time was a factor here, she zipped over to the guard by the door and applied a sleeper hold to the guard. She made sure to put him between herself and Marcus in case he was more observant than she hoped. “Look.†she pointed to the downed man “I don’t know what happened but we better move quick before the other one came back.†When Marcus began to move she quickly went to make sure that he wouldn't do exactly that.
  6. Lucy stood up and held her hand up to show that she was no threat to this strange man. Again she was a little surprised at how unshocked she was at the weird and wonderful things that Freedom City threw in her general direction. “Hello there I’m Revenant, but you can call me Lucy if you want, you not in any danger hear you’re perfectly . You’re in Freedom City now.†She was her normal friendly self, not expecting any kind of trouble. Though there was that nagging feeling that maybe he was what the seer was going on about.
  7. Dancia was about a set ahead of Lane as she was picking up a couple of small stones, they’d need a distraction and as they couldn’t be in two places at once she’d have to improvise. “Wait look is that someone coming over there?†she pointed in the completely opposite direction from where the guards were. In that second that he was distracted she moved so she was in a direction away from where they needed to go. Then without pause she launched a couple of pebbles at supersonic speeds towards the camera, hopefully the guards would go off to see where the attack had come from. Before Marcus could even begin to suspect anything she was back behind him with only a slight gust of wind.
  8. This should be setting off a half dozen alarms bells in the real word, Mother Unit wouldn't normally even allow her to have a slightly bad dream. Are you there Mother Unit? I could use you help here right about now. But she wasn't going to wait until Mother Unit replied, time could work a little wonky between the Real and dream world. “It’s called the Saloon and if it the real deal it’ll have those really cool doors, like you said. Can I go first they’ll have that cool thing of the whole place going quiet.â€
  9. "Sexy Bluff": 1d20+6 24
  10. There was no real reason to hold anything back from this guy after all he was one of the good guys right? It was just that since she had got here she had been getting these bad vibes from just about everything. Call it Britannia intuition but something was just off. So whilst she was going to answer his questions she was also trying to remain a little guarded. “Doesn’t every world think it’s the center of the universe? Your is just as suitable a candidate for Prime as any other world, heck for all I know it’s and we’re just the pale imitation.†She was also quite worried about his question about her powers, so she tried to keep the information to a minimum. “Natural, Spirit of the nation, and why can’t anyone here use light powers?â€
  11. For the cab ride Super Hearing: 1d20+6 20 And outside the lab X-ray Vision: 1d20+6 14
  12. Dancia was fairly quiet during the whole cab ride putting on a face of stoic determination. NOt because she was in anyway mad at Marcus, though it didn’t hurt for him to think so, but because she was trying to gather information on the Doctor in way’s he couldn’t possibly fathom. It wasn’t easy to do so, they were both in speeding vehicles surrounded by traffic, but she was trying to listen in on any conversation going on in his vehicle. When they arrived at his apparently abandoned lab both her journalist and hero senses, as newly formed as they were, screamed that this was dangerous, if not an actual trap. “I’m bound to agree with you on this one, let’s keep quiet and keep together we'll be safer that way.†It limited what she could do with Marcus around, but it also meant she could keep a better eye on him and hopefully away from danger. Before they set foot in the building however she scanned as much of it as she could with her X-ray vision to try and see what awaited them inside. “Come on follow my lead.â€
  13. As alway Lucy was ready to spring into action if need be, but she allowed Commrae Frost to take the lead she was after all a very long way from home and knew very little about this part of the world. Then again there were still large part of her own City she didn’t know well, she was still trying to catch up on half a century of changes no easy task for someone, even if they didn’t sleep. There was one thing she knew that this Sixtus, as paranoid as most of her kind, would have done. “She bound to know that we’re here, if not now then very soon, we should hurry whilst we have the advantage.†It wasn’t that she didn’t care about the fate of the poor soldier, far from it, but she couldn't do anything about them until this Necromancer was dealt with. She just hoped it wasn't to late for them all.
  14. As much as this man deserved it she couldn’t let him go alone into danger and most likely physical harm, and if she was to find the whole story she’d need a chance to meet his boss as well. Thinking quickly on her feet, something she liked to think she excelled at, Daphne went with what she thought a waitress in a place like this would do. Chewing invisible gum, because they always seem to do that on TV, she stepped between the two and place her hand on the security guard chest. “Whoa there big guy this chum here just order up a drink and really could do with the tips. I ain’t standing around in these thing...†she pointed at her high heels “... for nothing. One final drink and he’s all yours okay.†She poured on the charm with a cheeky smile, and if that failed touching him she would know if he was about to try anything dangerous. To himself hopefully.
  15. All I have to do is throw in Miss Grue and we have a sequel .
  16. Agnus gave a little smile as she remembered Strings it was almost sweet how she use to tell her that her singing was almost as good as his. She also remembered that thanks to his lifestyle it wasn’t wise to surprise the man to much so she sidled up to him. “Strings it’s me Agnus, though you might not remember me I was about this high last you saw me.†she indicated her height of when she was little “Me and Geri, my mum, use to travel around we you lot every now and again.†she thought it best to leave out Lucy was also normally with the, considering what had happened here. After giving him a few minutes to process who she was and make up his mind whether she was to be trusted she added in more serious tones. “I need to know what happened here what really happened not what you not telling the Old Bill.â€
  17. Dancia ave what she hoped was her sweetest smiles, she wasn’t that brilliant of an actress, and lent in as if she was whispering sweetly into his ear. Though she wasn’t exactly saying sweet nothings. “I’m in. But next time, and from here on in, it’s full disclosure or I promise to do many unspeakable things. And on this full partners or I walk away right now I want my name on the byline. And to save you the worry it Devon’s and Lane, not the other way around.†The truth be told the whole story had caught her attention and she would be following along to keep him safe, as Triakosia she could keep him safe at a distance, but he didn't have to know that.
  18. “Well by the time I was watching the Western was kinda out of fashion. Though there was this show with a cowboy and all the strange things that happened to him, and I think he fought zombies as well...†she thought for a few seconds and gave a little shrug “Though I could be mixing that up with something else, Westerns weren't really my thing this isn't one of my dreams. Unless Mother Unit is a big fan of the Genre, Do Mother Units dream of electric cowboy’s?†she gave a little giggle at her joke. Concentrating for a moment she shifted her clothes until they look suitable for a Western setting including a wide brimmed cowboy hat and a poncho. She gave a mean gunfighters squint and wiggled her finger above her belt, though she hadn't created any six-shooters, before dissolving into another fit of giggles.
  19. Maybe because she had grown up a world away, literally and figuratively, from such things Blodeuwedd didn’t have the fear of these Drone that Tona did. She knew that she should before coming here she had read all the reports available at the school and Tona had told innumerable story of the horrors they had inflicted on this world. It was a potential weakness that Blodeuwedd well aware off, but it could also be used for there advantage it allowed her to resist any urge to flee from their sight. “I’m going to try and stay here as long as is safe and try to keep you updated. If the worst happens don’t wait for me, hopefully I can make my own way back.â€
  20. You know that she has one of the highest Sense Motive out almost of everyone and yet you pull this on me, that's just so mean . Anyway she can't make it through skill mastery so this time she'll have to roll Sense Motive: 1d20+16 34. Booyah still queen of the motive sensing .
  21. Hope you don't mind SC that I said she'd arranged to meet Harry and Fred to go elsewhere, I can alter if you have another intro idea. And oh yeah tag .
  22. Lucy didn’t have a problem with vampire as a whole, just the bad ones. Once she had discovered how she was created by the meddling of an Elder vampire she had felt that it was her duty to protect people from there sometimes baneful influence. She knew that the vampire had there own society and tended to police themselves but she was also there outside the system to stop those that stepped well out of line. Whilst most vampire avoided her like the plague she had made a few allies among the better examples of their kind, it help that the story of how she helped Nora find an almost normal life had gotten around. THat was the reason why she was here in the Rail Yards a vampire seer had told Lucy that she had foreseen something monumental about to happen on this night, it could be nothing but she thought it best to check things out just in case. Planning on it being a bust she had arranged to meet Fred and Harry here to go off on another of their crazy cases, she tried to keep the two part of her “life†separate but apparently fate had another plan for her tonight. As soon as she saw the flash of light she was racing towards it arriving just in time for some of the smoke to clear enough for her to see the human form. Approaching carefully so as not to startle whoever it was, or incase they were trouble, she knelt down a short distance from the form. “Hello there are you alright?â€

  24. With a little sigh Dancia gave her companion a withering look, she should have expected that he had a story. Fishing out a compact from her purse she pretended to touch up her make-up as she got a look at their apparent target. She didn’t raise her voice but kept things normal as if they were just discussing the weather, though there was a touch of ice in her voice. “You owe me more that a meal for this one, though it’s a lot more interesting that those human interest story I’ meant to be reporting on. So what else o we know about this guy?â€
  25. Daphne was a little concerned by the sudden appearance of the vortex in her dreams it shouldn’t be able to happen with Mother Unit watching over her. She reached out for the comforting feeling of that electronic mind to find only static, someone or something must be blocking their telepathic communication. Apparently she would have to leave her mind so that she could actually leave it, otherwise she was apparently stuck inside her own head... she found it best not to think too hard about these things. As was traditional in these things she held her nose and gave a little leap into the vortex. “Geronimo!â€
