  1. Whilst there playing with poor VERA I'd like to spend a HP for Begininer's Luck to gain Medicine. Then if I can take 10 to see if I can work out what's been done, and what can be undone to the Antibodies. Skill total will be 15.
  2. Try to take down a BB Attack Roll: 1d20+12 13, guess not them...
  3. Lucy stood back up and literally clicked her neck back into place her body healed from all the damage, even if her clothes were now completely ruined. “Well that was interesting, is that the best you can do? Hope you’ve got nothing planned because I can do this all day, all night if necessary.†Truth be told the hit had probably done her a little more harm than she would like to admit, she could still feel her flesh and bone re-knitting themselves back into shape. Unfortunately she didn't really have the luxury of time she knew that she could take the damage better than either of the other two. So as clumsy as her attack was it would at least hopefully keep their attention on her rather than anyone else.
  4. West End, Freedom City Lucy woke up with a throbbing headache something that struck her as odd, though right now she couldn’t remember why that was strange thing. She opened her eye’s to see a masked female face filling her vision, now that was a lot more familiar. “Are you okay? You were attacked and I sent them packing.†there was pride in her voice, it wasn’t something she’d done before. Lucy sat up causing the woman to step back, she didn’t quite know what to do this was all still new to her. She might be a hero of some type, her face was covered by a blue handkerchief actual everything she wore was blue and harked back to the classic 20’s style. “I’m fine, just a bump from the fall.†She rubbed a rather large bump on the back of her head. No wait that couldn’t be right? On hunch she felt for a pulse and could hear the steady beat of her heart. She was alive again. “I know this sounds a little weird, but what the day and year today?†The woman looked a little suspicious but answered the question. “It’s May 27th 1926.â€
  5. Chesters oldest patron was stood in one corner trying to look as innocuous as she could, after all this was Bobby’s night not her own. Lucy Harker was dead but that hadn’t stopped her visiting the Club as often as she could, talking to Bobby about old times and enjoying an odd drink and a sneaky cigar as they did. He and this place was probably the last link to her original life and little place where she could kick back and just enjoy herself. And as Jada admitted, once the two had gotten to know each other, Lucy was important to draw customer to Chester. Almost every time she came her there were one or two people who followed Lucy career as a Superhero and wanted to meet her in the flesh. Lucy was always took time to talk to them and allow them to take her picture. Right now she wasn’t sure exactly how to react to all this, she was happy that Bobby was finally retiring and he looked good for his age, but it was another reminder that she wouldn’t ever change whilst everything altered around her.
  6. Chester’s Club Chester’s was finally called well Chester’s since the 1920’s the club had stood on the same spot more or less unchanged. It had survived wars and invasion and the worse that Freedom City could throw at it and through all that there had Bobby Johnson, but now he was finally retiring from running the club and leaving it in the capable hands of his Granddaughter Jada Johnson. The last couple of years Jada had subtly been updating the club whilst keeping the classic Blue Club feel. Whilst some of the old timer’s complained about not being able to smoke, most had been more surprised that Bobby had had time to have a daughter let alone a Granddaughter. The final act was to finally give the club the name that most people had always called it, and to celebrate the retirement of the second oldest of it’s patrons.
  7. Miss Grue'sToughness Save: 1d20+6 9, once can't unfortunately be insubstantial and dense it seems . A little early to be taken out so HP for a reroll Toughness Save: 1d20+6 7 well 17 is better...
  8. Shocked by lightning the last rider on horseback looked almost ready to join his companion in unconsciousness and the fight had seemed to have gone out of him now that there prey wasn’t quite so harmless. The leader of this little bandit group didn’t seem as ready to quit, or intimidated by Rene’s sorcery. Instead he advance on the Frenchman with an apparently deadly intent, wielding the sword like he knew exactly what he was doing. <“I must warn you Frenchmanâ€> he spat the word like an insult <â€That I cannot be killed, in fact you’ll be the only one being killed today.â€> The attack when it came wasn’t particularly fancy or precise, but it was carried out with a deadly intent.
  9. Badit's Toughness Save: 1d20+5 11, so Staggered and Dazed. Bandit Leader will close and try to screwer Rene Attack Roll: 1d20+5 18, that a DC 19 Toughness save.
  10. Lucy's first Toughness Save: 1d20+12 16, second Toughness Save: 1d20+12 13. Unconciousness my only weakness , HP for a reroll on the second Toughness Save: 1d20+12 17, so she's fine on that one.
  11. Well the beauty of these kind of things is that they need no real planning. Just a thread and an idea throw them together and viola!
  12. Miss Grue's Reflex Save: 1d20+7 20. She made of stern stuff either that or "what is this thing that humans call love?"
  13. It seems that the girls of the Senior / Junior years are more of less a team anyhow atm, just need a chance to make it official.
  14. Yeah thats where I got the name from, but does that make her 1 or 2? Or is it 0 or -1 time travel makes these things difficult .
  15. Expect the villain to run at some point Lucy had been ready for her to bolt. Whilst she couldn’t make the distance with a jump, sometimes it was a shame that she hadn’t inherited the gift of flight, she could put on a burst of speed that should at least allow her to keep up. And she could keep at that speed almost indefinitely. “Fred get to the car I’ll try to keep up with her.†Taking off after the woman she went for the safest but shortest route that she could take, with the minimal necessary property damage.
  16. Full round movement so about 1,000 ft/rnd for now. As straight line as she can with breaking anything to expensive or load bearing, or to tough for her break.
  17. Even for someone raised in a tough environment the last couple of day’s had been too cold to bear for too long. But now the temperature was a little more tolerable and she had decided now was a good time to do something. Maybe after a few days shut indoors she was going a little stir crazy but she decided that today she was going to clear the snow from the Zen Garden. So after a quick and early breakfast with a few hours before classes began she borrowed a shovel and head out to complete her task.
  18. YB can't fail either. Osprey for a full house? .
  19. YB's Initiative: 1d20+1 7
  20. Daphne examined her nails for a few seconds and then tapped her foot not that she waited to long she wasn’t sure exactly what the he could do. beside an effective situation might help him see her argument. One advantage she had, for now, was that in her dream really was a little more mutable allowing her to do thing that she couldn’t achieve. In this case she could make part’s of her solid whilst still keeping the majority of her body insubstantial. To use this to her advantage she launched herself into the crowd of student’s and mass of whirling hands and feet. She felt a little guilty about attacking her “friend†like this but they weren’t in there right mind right now.
  21. Spend a HP to get selective on my insubstantial and then take 10 to thing out the student's a little.
  22. To keep up with the fleeing woman Lucy had to give a little burst of speed, leaving poor Fred on his own. Still she didn't think the woman would harm a hair on his ugly little head, and besides he could more than look after himself. “Well we we’re looking to recover a Foo Dog stolen from the docks the other night. It was fairly amteaur works, which is why we thought it might be one of yours...†Someone who didn’t flee the moment they could, and instead taunted her foes, had a massive ego something she was hoping to use to her advantage.
  23. Faced with a real challenge Lucy was beginning to enjoy the melee going on around her enough to make her sloppy, which was almost her undoing. Over confident in her own abilities she made a ridiculous over extended attack which would left her vulnerable to an attack by either Battle Brother. Luckily for her she realised what she was doing and, with some creative language at her own stupidness, she managed to snap back round and land on blow on her foe as a bonus. Still she had got luckily, next time things could be much, much worse.
  24. Keep plugging away at that Bro Attack Roll: 1d20+12 15, but not with that. Let's use a HP for a reroll Attack Roll: 1d20+12 16. That would be a 26
  25. “WELL YOU SEE IT WERE NAMED AFTER ‘T TRAIN, BUILT BEFORE THE ROCKET.SOME SAY STEVENSON BUILT IT, OTHER THAT IT WAS BUILT BY ‘T FAMILY. AIN’T MUCH MAGIC HERE JUST STEAM AND ENGINEERING.†To illustrate the point she thumped the breastplate of the suit with her fist. “I SAY THIS ‘BOUT YOU GOTHS YOU AIN’T HALF GOT A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR.†she gave a little chuckle, or it would be if her voice wasn’t so amplified. “BUT YOU KNOW I CAN’T SAY NOWT ABOUT MY EMPLOYER, I’M A PROFESSIONAL AFTER ALL.†even with the amplified voice she sounded slightly hurt.
