Unseen and unnoticed Daphne was happy that she had help these girls, and she had one last gift for the girl. Counting to five she clicked her fingers for her little surprise. At that point the little delayed command should have kicked in stimulating the melanin production to give a beautiful golden tan. She’d like to have stuck around to see their full reactions but she had to rush off to stop this man doing any more harm. Going insubstantial again she took to the skies to make her way with some haste to the casino where he was heading.

“Lost? You have no idea!†It was frustrating that everything was just slightly off and she didn’t know exactly what was going on. It was a little like trying to complete a jigsaw without the picture and thousands of pieces. And she couldn’t help but feel that the only possible image she could use was a little wonky. Still right now it was all she had. Bit of a risk but hey any port in a storm. “This might sound a little weird, but I’ve just arrived here from another dimension, care to give me the 5 cent tour?â€

ooc Down and out in Languedoc and Hell (OOC)

Bandit 2 will pull a second musket and attempt to shot Rene Attack Roll: 1d20+5 7. Poor Father Henri will try to return the favour Attack Roll: 1d20+5 12. Bandit 1 will dismount his horse and draw a saber, for now Bandit 2 will provide some cover for his leader. -
Whilst the bandit was obviously concerned about the fate of his friend he seemed to have enough steel to draw a second musket with the aim of shooting Rene. The horse he was riding on must have been much more spooked than his rider for it took a few steps back throwing the bandit’s aim a little wide. The same sudden movement of the horse must have threw off Father Henri aim for his musket ball went well out of the mark. Muttering under his breath the final (standing) bandit dismounted his horse, muttering about dealing with things himself, before drawing a sabre ready to engage Rene in melee.

Thanks for the feedback everyone I've made all the changes suggested and I'll continue to tinker with her over the next month or so. One question I did one to ask is about her name. As she's intended of a expy of Supergirl / Powergirl i wonder about the possibility of naming her after Freedom Cities Superman equivalent and calling her Centuria .

Blodeuwedd considered all the angles as she watched the latest member of the school strut her stuff. With such an obvious and out there hero she would be fairly obvious to keep track off. “When it’s safe to do so we should let her know our suspicions. Maybe lose her helper just in case it’s all connected. It should be easy to keep tabs of her whilst not letting her in on what going on. Much easier than the job you're going to do...†for once she actually smiled. “You get to explain to the Headmaster of our suspicions and what we’re going to do.†To be honest she wouldn’t be surprised if he already knew exactly what was going on.- 34 replies

It seemed Daphne had arrived back just in time thinking fast she had to come up with some way to help them fast. She moved as quickly as she could over the girls as a possible solution presented itself. What if I used my sampling to try and stimulate the skin to shed the chemical? That could be incredibly risky what if you suffered from some sort of feedback? And the chemical could be harmful to Grue. I forbid... As part of her Grue physimony she could analyse a creatures DNA with a simple touch, she couldn’t normally access the information, it only allowed her to duplicate someone to the genetic level, but with a little effort she could use it to simulate the girls own skin. She gently touched the first girl, activating the ability as she did. “You know I don’t think it’s as bad as it looks, I think it’s already wearing off.†Before they could recover their sense she went from girl to girl as subtly as she could helping them slough off the dangerous chemical.

The woman place the glasses as carefully as she could on the table beside the rest of Rene’s magic items. “AYE WELL WE’VE GOT A COUPLE OF MINUTE SO WE MIGHT HAVE WELL. THIS IS AN HONEST TO GOOD HEIRLOOM, THE LANCASTER WITCH.†she gave an exaggerated bow. “BUILT IN THE 19TH CENTURY, SOME SAY STEVENSON BUILT IT HIMSELF FOR ‘T FAMILY.†even through the amplification the pride shone out. “BUT IT NOT EXACTLY CHEAP TO KEEP RUNNING, YOU CAN PICK UP PARTS AT WICKES, SO I GOT TO DO A LITTLE WORK ON THE SIDE. NO REAL VILLANRY JUST HELPING PEOPLE OUT, AND NOT ALL ON ‘T LEVEL. SO WHEN THIS FRENCH TART OFFER ME SO MAJOR DOSH TO LOOK FOR SOME GOTH KID... WHO AM I TO REFUSE? BESIDE THEY REALLY SEEM TO DIG THE ARMOUR.â€- 78 replies

There was a slight pause and the Witch straightened up to her full height, being a good meter taller (about 2ft) taller than either of them. Thin whiffs of steam escaped for whatever boiler that was fuelling this steam powered wonder. It looked for a few seconds that she would would react violently but instead she spoke in a quieter, for her, voice. “LOOK I’M JUST HERE TO DO THE JOB I’VE BEEN PAID FOR, I DON’T WANT ANY PROBLEMS. ALL HE HAS TO DO IS GIVE ME THE GLASSES FOR A MINUTE OR TWO AND THEN YOU CAN HAPPILY GO ON YOUR WAY.â€- 78 replies

The bandit seemed unconcerned with Rene’s display of magic as nonchalantly as they could they turned to each other as they chatted away in English. <â€Look’s like one of those magic using types.â€> <â€Had enough of them fighting Napoleon's lot’s.â€> <â€Even those on our side, those spooky Russian one with there glowing red eye.â€> he surpressed a little shudder. <â€So what you want to do with him?â€> Neither spoke to each other but instead gave a little nod and raised the musket up as one. <â€Kill ‘im.â€> Both musket’s bleached smoke and fire all at once.

Agnes couldn’t help but call out to the Captain as he left. “I wouldn’t bother right now, there star singer just quit. No one of any merit there anymore...†With that she closed the door and locked it behind him, hopefully buying them some time. She quickly scanned the room, but really didn’t have any idea of where to start looking. So instead she turned her attention to her ally Roi, who seemed to know exactly what and where to look for this object. “So any good idea as to where to start? I suspect we really don’t have to long to find this thing.â€
-
Agnus did something that they probably would have found surprising, she gave them a broad friendly smile. “Thanks a lot you’ve been a great help, stay frosty.†With that her aura flared into life as she lifted up into the air trailing light beside her, she mused that that such a dull and dreary world must rarely see such brightness. This group might have the answers she was after about why she was here, but she wasn’t going to risk civilians on top of that. Specially as they had the feel of being anti-hero and possible something much worse...

The two gigantic demon’s continued to fight each other hand-to-hand, or claw-to-claw in this case, seeming unworried about the smoke swirling dramatically around them both. With the dramatic vista of the desert around them it was hard to think that this was a movie laying out, or an incredibly surreal metal video. Nikki must have still been unsure in her gigantic demon form , having been in human form for some long, for her attack’s were still going wild of the mark. Tadyofyla who had never abandon the demon form was having better luck and manage to strike Nikki, though the claws failed to piece the vivid pink hide.

“Don’t worry I have experience with their kind and I promise you they were face justice.†she was rarely on to boast on anything including this. Blodeuwedd stood up and gave a respectful nod towards the Fae woman. “Thank you for your hospitality and you assistance. I promise you that we will work our hardest to make sure no one else get hurt.†She walked toward the door to recover Dyrnwyn from the hat stand she had left it. She resisted the urge to check its status, instead holding it in such a way to make it difficult to draw in a hurry. “Unless you have any more question Crow shall we go?â€

In her position Blodeuwedd couldn't help but see Meta-Grue's charge to get his revenge, something that left her in a bit of a dilemma. Whilst the Meta-Grue would obviously make sure that those who were involved here wouldn't get away, but on the other hand he would most certainly not hold his hand when meeting them. Someone would have to make sure that didn't happen. There wasn't any choose really. Taking a few steps back to gain a run up Blodeuwedd dived out of the control booth rolling upright the moment she hit the floor of the arena as she dashed towards the elevator shaft that the Meta-Grue had just traversed down.

“You're not causing trouble again are you Subito?†Blodeuwedd spoke into his ear from behind, arriving almost unnoticed as was her general habit to do. It wasn’t even showing off she did it almost out of habit. “I got bored waiting so I thought I’d come and find you.†She looked round at the other and gave a little wave. “Hello everyone, for those that don’t know me I’m called Blodeuwedd. And whatever this lunk here say’s about me is a gross exaggeration.†her tone was fairly good natured if not a little dry. “Has everyone had enough to eat and drink? Because I belive there opening up the dancefloor.â€

Blodeuwedd almost rushed past Crow, they were under a time constraint after all, but she couldn’t leave the boy behind. Beside hopefully the other two were making better progress. So for the second time today she set out to free someone from a trap. So readying Dyrnwyn she bounded up the wall and sliced out towards one of the tentacles. “I really hope that you don’t make a habit of this Crow, after all I won’t always be around to help you.†she spoke in her normal dry tone. On hitting the ground she made sure to shift her position there enemy might now know that she was here, but not exactly where she was right now. That should give some protection against the tentacles.
-
Blodeuwedd is going to try and attack the bounds holding Crow Attack roll: 1d20+10 28.

Blodeuwedd couldn’t help but give a little sigh and roll her eye, luckily hidden behind her goggles, at the action of her newfound allies. She might have been spending too much time with Sam but she was more in favor of the subtle approach here. She turned to Graft the only remaining person on the roof “I’m going to take a look at what’s going on inside that warehouse. You better go make sure that those two don’t get into to much trouble.†She held out her hand which contained a Comm she had borrowed, again, from Claremont. “Can you lock onto this device’s frequency? That way I can at least let one of you know what I discover.â€

ic Sweet Dreams (Aren't made of this)
Tiffany Korta replied to Brown Dynamite's topic in Lantern Hill
So obviously this wasn’t part of the dream! Whilst she could have probably call Mother Unit to pull her out of her REM sleep there was obviously something serious going on, something which could actually cause harm to others. It was something that needed to be stopped and luckily Daphne was here to save the day. When someone dreams they constructed in there mind a version of themselves in the dreamscape. Most humans tended to construct perfect version of themselves, Daphne on the other hand had just copy her waking self exactly. And that included all of her natural abilities. “I’m sorry to tell you that I’m no magician.†she leaned in a whispered “And to be honest I’m not even human.†As she spoke to the Pan’s Labrynth knock off her form shifted to her teen Grue personna, and to make sure none of his minions could follow his order she went insubstantial. “Now let’s talk about this naughty thing you're doing and how you're going to stop it all before you get hurt.â€
