  1. For a few second Lucy watched the bubbling and sizzling of her flesh, it didn’t hurt but it did startle her for a few seconds. it could be nothing but it wouldn’t hurt to get someone to check this all out so she waved over one of the white suited technicians. “Excuse me but could you take a sample of this? Be careful though I don’t think it’ll hurt you but it has a rather unfortunate effect on my poor undead flesh.†The whole business with the residue seemed to take all her attention and she forgot to give the room more than customary glance.
  2. S/he is immune to the smoke damage, it helps that s/he breaths all that brimstone . The smoke will provide you with concealment however.
  3. My mind to your mind Mind Readin': 1d20+12 30
  4. Lucy never was your traditional girly, girl, a rather rough time growing up around other urchins had meant that when she fought she fought proper. But she had also learned that when you had to fight dirty you used everything that you could. So whilst her eyes cut through the darkness looking the owner of such prehensile hair, she was already reaching out to grab lumps of the stuff to try and bring it’s owner to them. When she got what she hoped was a solid grip she began to try and drag the owner towards here.
  5. Let's indulge in some hair pulling Attack Roll Attack Roll: 1d20+12 31, and the grapple Hair pullin': 1d20+22 37.
  6. Seeing that all their opponents were currently down Lucy decided that now was a good time to make there more. Noding to Diaz she laid out, her admittedly slim, plan to him. “Okay we’re going to try and get you away from here, follow me and try to stay safe. If I get distracted make a break for safety the first chance you get.†They didn’t make much past the door until that distraction came, it seemed that one of those Battle Brother had poor Fred in his grasp. Signalling from the kid to make his break she nonchalantly clapped her hands together as at a job well done before calling out loudly. “Well that was a lovely way to pass the time, more of a challenge that the fight out here anyhow.†there was a risk of getting the wrong one of the pair, or even both of them, but she was hoping that the right Battle Brother would drop fred and instead concentrate on her.
  7. OKay Lucy going to move out of the room and on seeing Fred in a squeeze try to trick the Battle Bro into dropping him and fighting her instead. And the trick roll is Trick a Bro: 1d20+16 25
  8. Move Action : Use the Grapple Gun to swing and wall crawl into now helpfully open booth. Standard Action : If needed make sure that the Laser Gun and safely shut down, if needed her Disable Device is 23 with Skill Mastery.
  9. Grabbing out her grapple gun, and feeling a small satisfaction that she’d thought to bring it, she used the line to make a rapid ascent into the control booth behind "Tengu", though really now there assumed names were more or less redundant. After first checking that the room was safe she quickly and rapid scanned the control panels in front of her. Whilst it had been a while since she had to disable a control panel, not since she had left the training for what the Order had originally planned for her, but she was fairly confident that she safely shut down the still potentially dangerous laser cannons. Then they could have a look at the other signals and what the could do to help those involved.
  10. Phasing through the tent was no trouble at all but it did mean she couldn’t touch anyone in this state. So she made herself solid again but kept her body opaque to light. In the tent with poor lighting she was almost invisible to all but the more skilled observer. With the con artist obviously read to flee the scene she had no real time to examine her environment or consider her actions carefully. INstead in a rush to find the information about what this chemical could do she moved as rapidly as she could across the room to get a touch on the man so she could read the secrets he was keeping about the cream.
  11. Agnus floated about the foul smelling muck of the fake swamp more than happy that she didn’t have to trapse through the thing. She even tried for a little levity, mostly to keep down the nerve due to what they were trying. “Delusions of grandeur, check, Ego the size of a planet, check, And unexplained love of that litte butt of yours, check. I’m thinking it a given.†she check off the points in her hand as she spoke. “Beside she’ll want the chain back and she know that she’ll have to deal with us for it.â€
  12. Agnes rolled her eye at the wide eyed optimism that the young frenchman had to seem to have. But then again he hadn’t spent the last year or so tracking down murderous gangster, or the time growing up in a city where she was disadvantaged for being the wrong sex and the wrong color. But then again his optimism was something good to cling onto after what she had done on this night. But he still has to learn the beat of this city if he wanted to survive it rough streets. She got out a bundle of note from her purse and count out a suitable amount into the Captain's hand. “Just a little something to for the trouble of letting use revisit my friends cabin.†she counted out some more notes. “And a little something extra to forget that you ever saw us.â€
  13. Another Dyrwyn based attack to one of the Serpent's Attack Roll: 1d20+10 20.
  14. Whilst most of her momentum was now gone, especially as she now had to focus more on defending herself, she still managed to swing Dyrwyn around in an impressive series of moves against her opponent. It would be nice to be able to ignore the foot soldier and go help her friends out of trouble, but she knew if they weren't engaged in fighting her they would just cause them all more trouble. And beside she was confident that her friends were more than capable of getting the job that needed to be done, done.
  15. It wasn’t often that Blodeuwedd was surprised, or at least it wasn’t often that she appeared surprised, but Errant’s assessment caught her off guard. And to be honest he was dead right, there was a good chance that this wasn’t quite over yet. “Subito won’t be a concern, all I have to tell his is that it’s spy business and he’ll leave me well alone. And it’s a fairly good version of the truth... Not massive on chocolate as a whole but I’m sure I’ll manage.†her tone as usual made it difficult to tell if she was completely serious “So how do you want use to proceed? Please don’t tell me I have to be her best buddy?â€
  16. Though things didn’t seem particularly good it was looking like she had been dumped somewhere else, another Earth or another Time, The fact that she had done both before said a lot about how her life was right about now. “Well Agnus I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore.†despite herself she couldn’t help but grin at that. Luckily her tone was a little more serious when she actually met people from here, whatever her was. She couldn’t quite put her finger on what gave it away, maybe she was just gene savvy, but this world screamed oppressive state in a shabby 1984 way. Which did mean the people would respond to authority figure without questions. Useful for her right about now. “Language!†she put on her best matrony tones “Chessmen... history... now! Unless you want me to take you in...†she scowled and harangued them, giving now time to question why she was asking such questions.
  17. Blodeuwedd couldn’t help but give a little smile at Tona’s efforts to engage in small talk. “We really need to get you out among really people so you can practice your small talk. That way you’d suffer from far less l'esprit d'escalier.†She thought briefly about the first time they had all gone out together enjoyable, but not for the reason they went out in the first place. “Though maybe not as eventful as some of our previous day’s out.†she turned to Mali “So while we wait for this excellent meal do we get the full tour?â€
  18. 30 Nikki Hawthorn, GM, Unharmed 18 Tadyofyla, GM, Unharmed 10 Pitch, 1 hp Nikki transforms to her "true" form and attack's Tad with her claws Attack Roll: 1d20+8 13, so miss. Tad tries to return the favour Attack Roll: 1d20+13 17. Also a miss. So two massive demons taking ineffective swipes at each other, looks like Pitch will have to sort them out.
  19. Nikki gave a grin showing a lot more sharp teeth than she had a few minutes before. “Well let’s focus on one issue at a time shall we. Tadyofyla your old skool demon so fire right out.†She began to grow her skin going bright shade of pink, whilst a pair of magnificent horm curled around her head. Unlike Tadyofyla Nikki was most definitely a female demon, though she choose to cover herself to provide some decency. Carmen had seen Nikki do this before but this seemed to have more energy around it. Springing up as she transformed Nikki, or more correctly Roseus, propelled herself towards the other demon whilst Tadyofyla prepared to block the blow. Whilst it had been a while the two demon obviously knew each others moves and they seemed to be equally match. Lucky Roseus has a trump card in her ally.
  20. I know right an update after all this time. In the great tradition of Chandler I give the Steampunk monsrotiy that is Lancashire Witch. Rene get's a HP for her seing through his illusion and whilst we're not yet in combat such things are possible.
  21. Sometime later at the Pavillion Whilst the gathering was generally for Goth’s Whitby also drew the attention of other groups, including a small number of Steampunk fanatics. Though while both groups like nothing more than to dress up and show off their latest clobber there was nothing like the more extreme’s of Cosplay that you got among Sci-Fi and Super conventions. So the sight of some form of Steampunk armour towering over those searching for a bargain was drawing a few glances. Ignoring everyone around them the hulking monstrosity seemed to scanning those entering, looking for something, or someone. Catching sight of the two French heroes, even in there disguised form the suit pointed a finger in there direction. “YOU TWO THERE STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING.†the voice was heavily filtered but was definitely female and had a strong Lancastrian accent. Ignoring everything in between them the striding colossus made straight for the pair, releasing a shower of black clothing and silver jewelry.
  22. Blodeuwedd turned around to the now assembled little group of heroes, her face still hidden by her hood. Only the green glow of her goggles was visible “Names Blodeuwedd, pleased to meet you all.†her welsh accent had soften slightly after spending so long in Freedom City but it was still evident. She turned back to looking at the warehouses before pointed to the nearest to where they were. “Well personally I wasn’t planning on using the door, I was thinking more of the roof over there. That way we can take a look inside without tipping them off.â€
