Blodeuwedd was all focus and business about now, so had the focus to draw things back to the task in hand. How close can you get us to where the your magic is blocked? We’re running short on time to figure this all out. She looked over at Rave with a concerned eye whilst the woman was a full blown hero, with much more experience than all of them put together, she must have had a long and trying day. but she respected the woman to much to just come out and say that she wasn’t fit to help out. We could use the help if you feel you’ve recovered from the trap Raven.

Blodeuwedd Once inside Blodeuwedd drew back her hood letting her now long hair tumble out, as she did her normal suit morphed itself into a rather elegant gown still in it’s midnight blue. She’d left most of her normal equipment at home if it wasn’t for Dyrnwyn she wouldn’t appear to be suitable for this gathering at all. She smiled at Subito’s comment’s, as usual, he was like a kid in a sweetshop surrounded by his literal heroes. She wasn’t quite as starstruck but she was still impressed at a gathering of so many superheroes in one place. Her tactical mind couldn’t help but notice that so many heroes in once place couldn’t help but but be a massive opportunity for some villain or other. But the league must have taken such thing into to consideration, and even villains could be filled with Christmas cheer. “Typical you’re always thinking with your stomach. I’m fine so why don’t you stock up whilst I circle round and meet up some of these people?â€

Wandering away from the little the rest of the student’s Daphne had taken it upon herself to study the frog’s living in the wetland in her own unique way, she had her head submerged in the water reading there little froggy minds. Even these small little brains were fascinating to her and she loved there color maybe she should try being green for a while? That all changed when she heard the explosion she was instantly out of the water. There seems to have been an accident nearby, I forbid you from assisting it may be... Mother Unit was quitened by being stuffed into her backpack along with all her important notes. Then she altered herself to her natural red skinned form and shimmered to almost transparency before taking to the air and heading towards the source of the explosion. If you’ve stopped sulking I need you to monitor the emergency channels. If they don’t know something is happening then you need to tell them. And fire up Birthing Unit in case we need her.

Toughness Save 27 just squeaked by.

Lucy gave a big grin at Comrade’s Frost and continued to hug, to her, the younger man. “And I can teach you to Charleston like a professional, these modern dances are nothing on what we did in my day.†She gave a little sigh as the call was given for the catering for the event. “That’s the one thing I miss since my return the taste of good food, heck I’ll settle for the taste of average food. I never thought I would but I even miss the taste of Bathtub Gin, the modern stuff tastes of nothing but water for me.â€

Like Foreshadow Blodeuwedd went for Owl as a code name choosing Screech Owl as her moniker, Barn Owl didn’t sound as threatening. As such she had altered her costume to resemble Foreshadows new costume as closely as possible suggesting perhaps that the two of them were related in some way, maybe brother and sister. Lucky few villains were educated in Welsh lore to know that in the legend Blodeuwedd was transformed into a owl. The sword was a little more troublesome she would have like to leave, it was an obvious identifier of her identity, but considering the opponents they were facing the sword was a necessity. The sword wasn’t to obviously her weapon, it was a simple medieval broadsword, but rather the blue flames that flowed around it’s blade. So after a little bit of experimentation, they had had plenty of time, she had managed to alter the eldritch flame that licked the sword to glow a rather more threatening black. She sat in complete silence they’d planned for this event for the last couple of weeks and no more needed to be said until they were in the ring.

If there was one thing Daphne loved about actually being on Earth, rather than watching it on a screen, was actually meeting real people. You must be careful there are some very bad people on this planet. Well yes but I’d know remember we’re a telepath. Hurmph, she actually made that sound in Daphne’s head, trust your Mother Unit on this one. Daphne gave the older man a large smile and a final little wave as she turned away to rejoin her study group. “Well wasn’t he nice? So where do we have to start on today’s project?â€

He finished coming down the stairs and moved to greet Vector and Revenant. "Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! Welcome, welcome! Glad both of you ladies could make it. My name's Gabriel, I don't believe I've had the pleasure of introduction?" “...If you’ll excuse me it seems Santa has summoned me. A pleasure to meet you.†Moving over to Comrade Frost she gave him her best curtsy. “I must confess Grandfather Frost that I’ve been a little naughty, I’ve been dancing a lot with younger men.†She threw her arms around Comrade Frost and gave him a large kiss on the cheek, unconcerned with the cold that radiated from him. “Can you forgive me Grandfather Frost?â€

Lucy wasn’t concerned at least by the questions, in fact she’d been expecting some question of some kind. “I was born in 1897 and died in 1927, though missed the last century being buried under a Hotel on Broadway. I’ve only been active for a couple of year now. It’s a little complicated but it seems that I became a member of the un-dead.†she gestured towards her coal black eyes. “If these didn’t give away the fact. But enough about me we’re here to celebrate Christmas. Why don’t you tell me a little about yourself?â€

Seems that people have been using Orokos as an alternative

Lucy gave the pair of them an easy smile compared to her normal day to day persona she was almost subconsciously projecting an air of relaxed elegance. When she spoke however she still conveyed her normally friendly manner. “Pleased to meet you both I’m Revenant, but to be honest I’d rather you call me Lucy. I’ve never really got the hang of this whole secret identity thing. All happened after my time really.†Lucy made no secret of her being from the Jazz Age, same as the music playing right now as it happened, or that was technically dead. She approached her unlife with the same joy that she had carried out her living life.

Attack Serpent with Dyrnwyn 26. Standard DC 25 Toughness roll.
-
At the moment Blodeuwedd was a whirl of motion not staying still for a moment. her blade Dyrnwyn moved in tight circle trying to confuse the Serpent warrior that she was currently focusing her attention on, before she gave a series of shallowing yet hopefully debilitating cut to the warrior. She mind was so focus on the task at hand because something was worrying her. Whilst she should be worrying about both Giang and Subito equality she couldn’t help but seem to worry about Subito more. And it wasn’t all because he was the Serpent Queens captive.

Over the years Blodeuwedd had shown an aptitude for reading other people's body language something she did without really thinking. People, of all stripes, that she couldn't read tended to fascinate her and when not training or working out details of there cover she had spent ages watching Wraith. Of cause the rest of the group she could read quite well including Foreshadow. She appeared just beside his ear as he returned from where ever he'd been, another thing she tended to do by habit. "Something seems to be bothering you today. Is there something wrong with the training?" as part of their cover she had dropped her natural accent and spoke with an almost perfect American accent.

Daphne’s knowledge of train was a little limited most train she watched growing up were just used to transport people between scene’s. Except the little trains that had faces and talked, but she was a pretty sure that they weren’t real. She was hungry to learn more about these trains, well she was hungry to learn about everything but she could only focus on one thing at a time. “Actually it all sound really quite exciting.†she moved to sit beside him before something struck her. She looked back at the rest of her study group. “But I guess I better get back to our project. But I’d love to hear your stories later.†she spoke with an earnest sincerity.

When arriving at a party it was important to appear as if you owned the place as soon as you walked into the room. Not to easy to do when the room contained some of the most powerful people on the planet but Lucy Harker did exactly that. It helped that she had been doing the same thing since before most of the people here had been born. What took the real skill was arriving before or on time for a party, anyone could be fashionably late but it took real skill to say to the room that you were the one who bought the party with them. Feeling that trouble was unlikely that trouble would start her tonight she had risked not turning up in her normal uniform, a so far indestructible suit, for a tassled and sequined flapper dress in traditional black. She paused at the entrance looking around the room at who had already arrived to this unique Christmas party.

Take this action explainin' to Raven
-
Blodeuwedd dropped down to the shadows beside Raven, allowing her to see her but to still try and hide herself for any camera’s in the room. Not wanting to waste any time she opened her hand with Crow’s magic stone now in it and clasped Raven’s open hand over the stone. Are you okay? If you need to leave Crow has a portal set up in the corner. She gestured in the appropriate direction of the portal she came through. All us can hear each other through this stone so this might be a good time to tell us what happened. And please keep it breath I don’t have much oxygen left. Her tone was slightly mocking and she managed a tight lipped smile.

One thing Lucy had learned was that when trouble started it was important ignore anything that wasn’t important to the task at hand. BUt still pay attention to any possible danger. It wasn’t any easy thing to do but useful if you could manage to learn the ability. Ironical it was something she had learned to do all those years ago as a street fighter, though nothing as serious as what was happening her. “I was always told it was rude to tussle with a man without introducing myself first. I might not look like I normally do but I’m called Revenant. I’d like to say it was an honor to meet you but that would be a lie.†As she spoke she picked out the perfect time to throw a punch towards the man.

Whilst Lucy was a lot more open minded about technology than Rene she still struggled with anything more complex than a Radiogram, so she was more than happy to let Alan to handle all the technical detail. It was all really fascinating and she drank it up with a sparkle in her eyes, though she wasn’t quite ready to do it all for herself. She gave Alan a little peck on the cheek by way of a thankyou before returning her attention to Harry. “Is there anything else that I should check out? Or should I just meet you back at the office? This is going on your wall by the way.†she gestured to Rene’s painting “It can replace that pinup you both seem to like...â€

Blodeuwedd greeted all her friend with a wide smile and a series of large hugs. THings had been a little rough at the start of the year all that they had gone through had only made their friendships stronger. “We spent the 4th July with the family and it was... an interesting day. So we decided it would be best if he spent today with his family. Honestly I was just going to bum around Claremont if Mali hadn’t made her generous offer. I think we’re going to spend New Year together, though that might mean I have to endure two New Years...â€

Blodeuwedd had entered the warehouse unobserved, as was her habit, as the other three had been discussing what their plans would be. She had made the relevant phone calls and packed a bag with all her necessary equipment. “It rather depends on what type of arena fighting this is all about? If it’s a pure blood sport then it will be all about quick rapid takedown, and rather brutal at that. Whilst if it truer to the original gladiatorial game it would be more about showy moves and longer games. A little like modern wrestling.†Blodeuwedd looked around the warehouse that would be there home for a bit she was impressed how thorough Raven was in planning in all this. “I wouldn’t be surprised if Raven has left us some cliff notes about what we’re getting ourselves into.â€

Daphne greeted each of them in turn with her normal enthusiasm still trying to take everything in at the same time. It was strange to have a whole world arranged around her in 360o vision when she had grown up with just an image in front of her. She resisted the urge to scan their mind to find out what they were thinking, she had discovered rather quickly that humans didn’t like there thoughts scanned. Luckily no one had figured out that it had been her who had the powers. For the same reason she resisted the urge to scan this new man’s mind, even though he could be one of those “bad men†she knew about from this world broadcasts. That didn’t mean she feared him in the slightest. “Were here to study Ecosystems of this park.†she held out her books in front of her as if to prove a point. “But I’d love to see the rail works when we get a break. What is a rail work?†she asked with no hint of irony.
