  1. Blod's Toughness save 1d20+9=21
  2. The woman listened to Rene’s impassioned plea though her face showed she was still skeptical. “I am a proud woman I will not accept charity even though I live here by the will of others. But I am always happy to accept the friendship of others. Few seem to wish to visit a crazy old woman such as myself.†Father Henri seemed to look a little sheepish at this. “I apologize for that, I have been busy settling in to this new parish.†he picked up one of the glasses of Brandy “Maybe another toasts is in order?â€
  3. Lucy smiled a gracefully took the painting, she knew better than to argue with Rene he could be incredibly stubborn. She struggled with new technology almost as much as Rene, she had over 80 years of catching up to do after all. But she did appreciate how use the technology could be, even if she couldn’t operate the things. “Thank you Rene. We’ll get together for lunch and I’ll tell you all about it, I believe it your turn to pay.†Whilst the painting was nice and all she really needed to get the image sent to Fred so that he could check with his contacts if they knew where this warehouse was located.

  5. Blodeuwedd would face god and monster without breaking a sweat but the idea of her as Cerys having a quiet meal with one of her friends and family filled her with dread. Over the last year or so she had gotten more use to being Cerys at school but away from such an environment she was still a little nervous. Which was why see tended to seek out those situations whenever she could. To relax herself she had spent the last couple of hours patrolling the city travelling from rooftop to rooftop keeping an eye out for trouble. Things had been quiet but the exercise had done its job and she fairly relaxed as she arrive near the Benjawan house. With merely a though her jump suit had transformed itself into a fairly conservative dress, still in it’s midnight blue, though she kept the boots. Stashing all her other equipment in a hidden compartment in the bag she carried she was ready for the meal. At more or less the arranged time a rather demure looking Blodeuwedd arrived at the house and rang the bell.
  6. YB opposed roll is 1d20+5=14, just scrapped by...
  7. Daphne beamed a large friendly smile at the Professor. She resisted the urge to hug the man, it seemed that some human’s found such things a little off putting. “That right sir Daphne, Daphne Celeste. “ She listened intently as he then went on to explain the purpose of today’s visit to the park. It took all her effort to stand still and take all this in, she was just so excited by the whole experience. When the teams were assigned she waited to see how the other student’s behaved on meeting each other. She had made some embarrassing mistake on her first day at Burroughs. “Well I’ve only just started there recently, I’ve just moved to the city from a long way away. But it’s just the best, I’ve already learned so much in just my short time there.†her voice was a mixture and sincerity and excitement. There wasn’t a trace of irony in her words.
  8. Whilst Blodeuwedd was a skill warrior she was also very capable of dealing with people in a much less violent manner. it was just rarely that she got to use her abilities to deal with people in Freedom City. She gave the woman a reassuring smile and a comforting look, with her hood drawn back and her goggle tucked away she looked like a very non threatening and helpful young woman. Something that she would happily use for her advantage. Even Dyrnwyn was propped up by the door out of the way, many Fae didn’t like the magical blade in there presence. “I’m sorry for my friends here bluntness but we’re very concerned for you and your husband’s well being. If you know anything about the situation that led to poor Mr Bolar’s untimely demise we can make sure no more of your community are harmed in any way.†She gave the woman a comforting pat on the knee to emphasise the point.
  9. Lucy watching with some fascination as he carried out his work, she knew he some talent’s as both an artist and a magician but it was still a wonder to see it in action. It was a shame that in this case the result, whilst amazing, weren't exactly the most enlightening of results. “Well it something I suppose.†she tried not to sound too disappointed “And with other evidence I’m sure we'll be able to find them.†A very reluctant thought stuck her maybe she was still thinking like a 20th Century girl, maybe she wasn’t that different to Rene in that manner. “Do you have one of those portable telephones? I’m sure I heard somewhere that you send images over those thing. My partners might have a better idea than me of where we can find this place.â€
  10. For now she'll just move to the bottom of the building and gather her senses.
  11. With some relief that the rope had finally given up it quarry. BUt there was no time to savor the victory as letting go of the brickwork to attempt to catch and soften the guy’s fall. Luckly Cannoade beat her to the punch and instead she lande fairly softly some distance from them. “Is he okay? Is he in any fit state to tell us what happened to him?†A very quick head count showed that he wasn’t the only thing that needed to be dealt with straight away. “Hound did you see where Bloody Mess was heading off to in such a hurry? I suspect he’s got himself into trouble again...â€
  12. Cerys with her years of training and experience with supernatural forces tended to think of them as almost part of her everyday life. So strange and unusual effect were not something that surprised her in the least. These thing always seemed to follow certain rules and patterns it was just a matter of working out what these patterns were. “We should go see one of the Order’s Seers, they might be able to work out what going one. Though it seems to me like a very weird form of dimensional travel.†Seeing the guard approaching she called out to him, luckily they didn't know what she had been planning to do. “Wait this woman is any ally of mine and the Order. She is dan fy amddiffyn, under my protection.†she translated for Tona’s benefit.
  13. YB will fly up as fast and far as she is able. If she can do a full move she'll forgo her grapple role and they'll end up at around 10,000 ft, where the air starts to get a little thin. Other wise they'll end up at around 2,700 ft and she'll try to break the grapple 1d20+18=34.
  14. “Everyone mop thing up down here, I’ll keep Osprey here busy for a little while.†Young Britannia did something that no one should really do when someone is trying to squeeze the life out of you. She smiled. “Shall we see how high you can go little bird? I’ve heard that ornit nice at this time of night.†With that she shot up into the sky as fast as she could leaving a trail of light behind her. It was a calculated risk but she knew she could survive the cold and lack of air of the high atmosphere better than any crushing action he could bring to bear.
  15. Playing along with the whole masquerade she gave a little giggle and she walking with him, seeming a little unstable on her feet. To anyone observing she seemed to be the one directing them towards their destination, obviously aiming to relieve him of his hard earned cash. She leaned in to apparently whisper sweet nothings into his ears. “Seems like good a place as any to start. And don’t worry you're doing fine. Though I get the impression you’re not telling me something.†She’d noticed that whilst there blazed there drunken trail he kept them to the shadow’s as much as possible, as if trying to prevent anyone from watching them for too long. She’d matched his actions so far, but was more than a little curious as to who they were trying to avoid.
  16. Aaliya looked first bemused by there sudden transformation, then thoughtful at SUbito’s question. “Well a lot of them spend their time promenading or having a few brew down the pubs. There’s a bring and buy down at the Pavillion, but I doubt she’d come all this way for just that.†She pulled a flyer from one of her pocket’s and quickly scanned it’s contents. “The best bet is the bands, that what many come here for, door open at 2pm but the band’s start at 5pm. You wouldn’t believe most of the band’s listed here the only one vaguely sensible is Voltaire...â€
  17. Blodeuwedd never quite like to admit it but the fighting part of her job always seemed to put her in a good mode. It was a little more than just the adrenaline rush it was simply something she enjoyed. So she was already in a good frame of mind when Subito gushed about everything they could spend the day enjoying, it helped that she couldn’t help but be swept along with his almost boyish enthusiasm. “It sound’s like quite an eventful day you’ve got planned out. Let’s not keep them waiting any longer.â€
  18. The safe appeared mostly empty, apart from a few rather official looking documents, there was a slight flicker as if the sun was catching an object even though the room was currently shaded. Then slowly the flicker seemed to become more solid until the vague outline of a chain began to appear. “It’s not just a clever interdimensional storage space. It hard to explain but it’s like the thought-sphere of the entire United Kingdom. I’ve heard that people have even entered such realms and visited the spirit of the land itself. Though I’ve yet to have the balls to try such a thing. Best not to stick to much stuff in there, just in case.†The chain was more solid now and Agnus carefully moved the chain with the tong and placed it in the bag. Which almost as quickly disappeared into the dimension she was just talking about. “Talking to Malaise is a risky business considering what happened last time. Best to start with the intermediary until we know her true strength.â€
  19. Blod will continue to try and free Raven.
  20. Shifting her weight around a little to get to the rest of the restraints Blodeuwedd continued to try and free Raven from the bounds holding her. She wished she could tell the other woman that she was here to help, but if she also fell to the gases influence they might both be lost to who ever was running this whole show. She was also aware that by now they must know something was going on, both here and with her allies effort, and if he had any other trick she didn’t have too long before he, or she, deployed them. So keeping an eye out for potential trouble she continue at the task at hand.
  21. Still retaining her motion for the last attack she swung around to the remaining warriors launching off a series of throwing knives that followed her movements almost perfectly. Not waiting for the knives to hit she was back up on her feet’s. charging towards them before at the last minutes tumbling over the warriors to land the other side of them, just before the knives found their target. “It would foolish to continue this assault. Maybe you should consider an alternative plan of action?†She held her sword Dyrnwyn up towards them ready for any assault they had planned, the mystical sword glowing with an eerie magical flame.
  22. Blod will throw a couple of throwing knives towards on of the still standing warriors 1d20+8=27, that a DC 25 Toughness Save. She'll then move acrobatically to get in a position to attack them.
  23. Father Henri joined in the cry with almost as much enthusiasm as Rene but the Mademoiselle de Rennes face only scowled at his outburst. “You’re glorious France has stripped me of everything I had, even this house, and reduced me to this. I will however toast to your health, if you’ll indulge an old woman...†She gestured to a decanter and several glasses in a tray, all whilst fine were not as fancy as a lady of a manor would normally own. “This is all that remains of my once great cellar, I think it is a suitable time to enjoy them with good company.â€
  24. Tadyofyla is a Greater Demon, powered down to PL12 so not to be to big a threat, her initiative is 1d20+8=18. Nikki initiative is 1d20+12=30. Give me a reaction post to Nikki's actions and we'll then go into combat.
  25. In the real world Nikki pressed a piece of paper as subtly into pitch’s hand as she could. If she defeats me she will betray you, I have no doubt, it’s in her nature. If it looks like I’m about to loose cast this it will teleport all of you to safety. The second word reveals documents hidden under the altar, they reveal the location of all the portals and document’s transferring control of the sites to the owner. I only ask you preserve the sites until the time is right, my company will provide you with the resources necessary to do the job. In the “real†world she pressed a small piece of paper, or parchment, into Carmen’s hand. She then walked over until she was nearly face to face with the other demon. “Right let’s do this.†Tadyofyla gave an evil grin and stood back allowing access to a cleared area just beyond the churches protection.
