  1. As the trap was sprung Blodeuwedd dropped effortlessly from the ceiling as she did she swung Dyrnwyn in a wide circle, she had made to sure to position herself so as not to harm her companion in any way. As sword made contact with the scaly serpent people she made sure to strike only with the edge of the blade or inflict minor cut’s while they weren’t human she didn’t want the deaths of any of them on her hands. Even though she was quite aware that they wouldn’t afford her the same luxury if the situation was reversed.
  2. I shall do a takedown attack and take 10 on the roll so that's 20 to hit the little scaly buggers...
  3. Like I said in IC she'll continue to try to break the rope whilst seeing if we can coordinate out efforts.
  4. This situation would almost be comical, all these heroes struggling with one rope, if a person life wasn’t at risk. The one consolation was that all these people didn't stop to determine if this life was worth saving they just tried to save them without even thinking. “All of us together should be able to defeat one rope? Maybe if we timed our attempts to bolsters each others efforts?†Even as she spoke though she carried on putting tension on the rope hoping against hope that one of them could break the thing even as they tried to organise thing for all their benefit.
  5. Lucy briskly knock on the door to Rene’s apartment holding in her hand a bottle of French wine as a bribe. She wasn’t an expert on the quality of wine but she tended to go for those from the 20’s when she could get them. She supposed that it was because them were both from the same vintage. She patiently waiting for Rene to answer the door smiling to herself at his moans and groans abouts his age, though she half suspected that he was sharper and more capable than he made out. When he did open the door she was all smiles as she poured on the charm to try and convince him to help. “Rene how wonderful to see you again, I need to ask you a little favor...â€
  6. After what seemed like an age, but couldn’t have been more than a minute, Marianne gently placed a hand on Rene arm. “I’m afraid we can’t stay here much longer, we all have our part to play in the future.†she gave him a sad smile “Do you wish to return to Rennes-le-Châtea to say good-bye or shall we return to Paris? The Grand Master will be too busy for a while to bother either of us. I shall keep an eye on the town in case he returns, though I won’t be using this form. I suggest you endeavour to stay out of his way for a little while.â€
  7. Let's get an Intimidation roll from Pitch to see how many Mercenaries bale on the demon. She gets a +4 situation bonus for the kind work the demon did on there behalf . Let's say DC 10 a quarter scatter, 15 it's half, 20 three quarters and 25 she manages to threaten the lot.
  8. Blodeuwedd was a master of reading body language, and it wasn’t an idle boast she wasn’t the kind for such hyperbole. She did pause for a second just in case even though she knew the woman was probably about to reveal her hand. She was probably lucky that they hadn;t met a few months ago, she wouldn’t have waited incase the situation turned more serious. So as it was as soon as she revealed her hand Blodeuwedd sprung again into action planting a well timed ick to the woman. “There nothing stupid about treating your enemy with honour, it just a shame you were too stupid to grasp the chance when you could.â€
  9. Another Unarmed attack on the controller 1d20+10=26, another DC 19 save for her.
  10. Well in that case we better both get into the dock somehow, she gave him a comforting smile life had meant she wasn’t one to quit when things got difficult. “I might be a tad overdressed for this but I best plan is to pretend that you're a sailor and I’m his companion for the night.†She knew he would be to much of a gentleman to make the first move, so to speak, so she pressed up against him and put his arm over her shoulder. “Stagger a little like you drunk and talk in loud whispers like we’re trying to sneak into the place unnoticed, but we can’t manage it because we’ve been on the drink.â€
  11. Lucy gave Arcturus a worried look, she didn’t exactly have an sort of magical senses but she could tell that this lumbering giant was trouble. But the kid also seemed to know what he was doing, and she had learned to trust those kind of instinct in her time. “Okay, but I really want that explanation when I get back.†With a quick burst of speed she quickly caught up with the Detective and wasting no time tried to take the woman down. Instead of stopping she caught the woman leg’s hoping to bring her down without harming her in an way.
  12. Going to do as requested and fo after the detective. With Speed 2 (250 ft/rnd) catching her shouldn't be a problem. Nothing fancy I shall just attempt to trip the detective. Attack Roll 1d20+12=23, it that works the opposed roll for the actual trip is 1d20+10=29.
  13. Whitby Friday, 25th April 2013 10:30 am Agnus had been a little worried how Rene would get on with a modern libertine like Lucy Diamond, but Lucy had been on her best behaviour and was an almost perfect host. She wondered if he had know any of the original Libertine from Revolutionary France but the Marquis wasn’t something you could casually dropped into conversation. Despite the late night and liberal flow of alcohol she had managed to wrangle the two French hero and delivered them to Whitby without to much effort. Where they were met by Aaliyah who was as immaculate as when they had left them. “I have to go but if things get too serious with Gallia give me a call, I’ll give any assistance I can. And it was fun we must do this again sometime, without the whole threat from an ancient nation spirit.†And with a final burst of photons she was gone again leaving them alone with the Ministry Agent. “So I’ve been given permission by the Ministry to give you as much help as I can, not that I doubt you’d waited for permission anyhow. So how do you want to start looking for this little lost goth?â€
  14. “If you don’t let the monster go then how do the other’s know not to do such a thing. It’s something we’ve been doing for a very long time.†Her voice had an edge to it suggesting a faint menace behind it, she lowered her head so the hood cast a shadow over her face and she spoke in a matter of fact way. “Be assured that if you attempt anything like this again we will show you no mercy. THis is you first and last warning, there will be no others I will be swift and precise and you will never see me coming.†To illustrate she turned away from him, sure that Subito would make sure he left, and began to walk away from them fading from sight as she did so. She stopped a short distance away to watch the creature leave just in case it tried something stupid.
  15. Agnus's Reflex roll 1d20+7=9, ugh HP for a reroll 1d20+7=19. Just scraped by...
  16. Agnus didn’t miss a beat as time resumed its course it was something you just seemed to get use to, and Young Britannia had centuries of experience with such things. “Right Mr Willis let’s get you the hospital where you can do some good, El Heraldo will be accuponion us on this short hop. Don’t worry this won’t hurt a bit...†Agnus’s Office, Zenith Studio’s, a few hour later Agnus had really tried to limit their visit to just a few minutes, after all this business with Madame Malaise was real important, but she couldn’t help but make time for as many sick people as she could. Once she had made sure those suffering from Malaise influence were okay, she had just popped down to visit all the sick children to see if they were okay. She couldn’t heal all of them, however much she wished she could, but any visit by a superhero even if they were not A-list heroes was an exciting thing for those poor kids. It had seemed like they had spent months there when it had only been a few hours. With a quick check to see if Simmone was still around, she had obviously took an early day like Agnus had suggested, she pointed Subito’s attention to a rather innocuous little business safe set in the wall. “The chains are locked in there under temporal stasis. I can stop the stasis but how should we handle the chains? They have a rather baleful effect on the people who handle them.â€
  17. Actually Normal Toughness as a Feat for Shrinking is a house rule which to be fair I forgot until SC reminded me. At the cost of repeating myself I think she's all fixed again.
  18. One shall continue to pummel the same Battle Bro 1d20+12=31. If I'm lucky that might just hot
  19. “Really that’s the best you got? You know when I was younger, a long time ago, I use to do street fighting. Would you like to see what I can do?†She dropped into a stereotypical fighting stance her feet spread and her fist held up. It must have looked rather comical to see a woman of Lucy’s stature posing in front of a giant like the man she was fighting. Right up the moment she threw the first rather solid punch at the man. She might not quite have the finesse of Crimson Tiger but she was just as capable a fighter when the chips were down.
  20. To get up to the top she'll use either Acrobatic, 30 with skill mastery, or Climbing, 21 with skill mastery. Begin to cut the cables if I can. If it possible can I spend a hp to get a rebreather? Though I'll save it for later.
  21. Holding her breath she quickly scanned her the room looking for the possible ways to free the captive from the webbing. For now she had to trust that they didn’t want to harm them so the web wouldn’t be trapped. Working out the best route she began to have climb half ounce up the wall until she was in a position to use Dyrnwyn on one of the holding cable. Wedging herself as fairly as she could against the wall she made as rapid progress. She had a backup plan but she still knew there was still a time limit on freeing the captive.

  23. Okay I think I've managed to squish all the bug, sorry if i missed any. For Mother Unit I'm thinking Strength - [-10PP] Dexterity - [-10PP] Constitiuation - [-10PP] Intelligence 20 (+5) [10PP] Wisdom 14 (+2) [4PP] Charisma 16 (+3) [6PP] Skill 12R=3PP Computers 2 (+7) Disable Device 2 (+7) Gather Information 4 (+7) Notice 4 (+6) Feat Equipment (Birthing Unit) 7 Skill Mastery (Computers, Disable Device, Gather Information, Notice) Well-Informed Powers Datalink 5 [5PP] Immunity 30 [30PP] Shrinking 8 (Tiny) [8PP] Ability (-10PP) + Skills (3PP) + Feats (9PP) + Powers (43PP) = 45PP Birthing Unit [31EP] Strength 35 (+12) [1EP] Toughness +13 [4EP] Defense Bonus -2 Size Huge [2EP] Powers Flight 10 [20PP] Immunity 7 (Environmental, Suffocation) [7PP] Space Travel 1 [1PP] Ability (1EP) + Powers (28EP) + Combat (2EP) + Saves (4EP) = 31 EP If everything looks cool I'll start cleaning up the formating.
  24. Will strike one of the two of them whilst there back is turned 1d20+12=25. Unsporting I know but a girl need's an advantage now and again .
  25. As the two men seemed distracted at the sudden noise Lucy took her chance to try and even the odd’s a little. First she lent in and whispered into Harry. “Go get Fred as quickly as we can I’ll try and keep them busy, it seems our little friend has decided to crash this party.†She then kicked off her shoes they were nice and she wouldn’t like to keep them, for some reason only the clothes seem had been buried in seemed to be able to survive the punishment that superhero combat. “You’d think after all these years people would learn to to underestimate people. Hopefully you’ll learn your lesson after this.†Stepping up behind the two she struck one of them solidly on the back.
