Right I've made a fair few alterations which I hope addresses all the, rightly pointed out, flaws. All I have to do now is work out Mother Unit. I'm not quite sure how to build her as a AI and a ship at the same time.
-
I'm growing to like the idea of keeping the name it seems the kind of thing she'd do to "reclaim" the name. Fit's with her Congrueity complication as well. I fixed the typo, added in the costume and dropped the blaster. I just had it as a ranged option and that just doesn't make any sense with the character. And cheers Ari.

Lucy's Initiative 1d20+6=25

Blod' initiative 1d20+9=24. Luckly she goes a little faster than I do .

WIth Nikki seeming unbothered by the church influence stood boldly in the doorway whilst Pitch and her colleagues was cunningly hidden nearby. It was hard to fault the accuracy of the magic’s that brought them back to this place. “Trust me I know what i doing. S/he has a massive ego and also wouldn’t dare get to close to this little church.†And indeed Tadyofyla stop at a little fence that surrounded the church. “So you finally decided to return to face the consequences Roseus. My Lord will be pleased when I bring you back home.†the voice has a strange harmonic’s as if it was a male and female voice fed through a vocoder. “There no need to do this the portal’s sealed permanently and even I can’t reopen it. And I won’t let myself be taken. You don’t need to risk any off these humans.†“Why would I care about these mortal? I pay them handsomely enough for there services.†A few casual glances by some of the mercenaries suggested that they didn't quite agree with that assessment. “Beside there only yourself and you’ve always been my lesser Roseus.â€

Lucy will attempt to bluff the two, for however briefly that lasts, 1d20+16=20.

Lucy gave Harry a little squeeze and a comforting smile “A hero is someone who when scared but does thing anyway. And me being un-dead isn’t necessary a permanent thing, remind me to tell about the time someone managed to make me mortal for a while...†She fortunately paused at that point so they weren't completely surprised by the two thugs. And that good fortune meant that she could attempt to con these two. She hug Harry close in an apparently loving way. “My Harry here he’s gets all worked up with the fighting, I tell him that it’s bad but he insisted on attending. He felt a little queasy so I would taking for some air, I haven’t taken a wrong turn have I?†again she dropped into her broad Freedom City accent.

Player Name: Tiffany Korta Character Name: “Miss Grue†Power Level: 10 (150/150PP) Trade-Offs: None Unspent Power Points: 0 Progress To Gold Status: 0/90 In Brief: A teenage rogue Grue who is enjoying everything that Earth has to offer. Alternate Identity: Daphne Celeste Identity: Secret Birthplace: Deep Space Occupation: Student at Burroughs Community College Affiliations: None Family: Meta-Mind (Gene father, distant), Mother Unit Description: Age: 16 (DoB: 199) Gender: None, has chosen female form Ethnicity: Grue, appears Latina Height: 5’5†as Daphne Weight: 120 lbs as Daphne Eyes: White normally, Brown as Daphne Hair: Black In her natural form Daphne appears mostly as a typical member of her species though her years travelling through space and her unusual “upbringing†have made a few changes. Even in her Grue forms she appears as a though a teenage girl, her Mother Unit always wanted a daughter, and she keeps her long black hair. Whilst she can assume the "natural" Grue form it's not what she considers normal and if her power's are ever neutralize she defaults to her teenage Grue form. In her normal disguise of Daphne she has constructed the identity of what she considers the typical American teenage. Unfortunately as all she has know is from teen drama she looks like she has stepped from hours of make-up and wardrobe. She still hasn’t quite worked out why her “average†looks seem to draw her so much attention. In her natural form Mother Unit is a large oval spheroid around the size of a small car with a silver yet un-reflective skin. The interior consists of just a crash couch and a bank of monitors whilst the inner working, anti-grav warp drive etc, a located in a small pocket dimension. Mother Unit herself is a cube of mat black material around 1 ft (0.3 m) in size. The ship can collapse around the cube allowing her to easily transported, the only sign of the difference is that the cube is now silvery-white. Mother Unit can also form around Daphne herself to form her costume a White Jumpsuit with black around the arms and legs with a three pronged star on the chest. Power Descriptions: As her genetic material is that of a Grue she has been geneneered with all the normal abilities of telepathy and shapeshifting. However as her experience in her shapeshifting is limited she cannot do the full range of abilities, instead she has learned a number of trick’s that she can do with her body. History: The history of Daphne start’s, like many Grue, with one of their many attempts of conquest’s of the Orion-Cygnus Arm of the Milky Way. The Grue ship carrying a number of birthing pod’s was attacked and destroyed in Deep Space scattering it’s cargo to the four (solar) winds. Mother Unit wasn’t activated at the time so neither knew who their assailants were, though this area of space is under the protection of the Lor. Daphne was designated as an infiltration unit and her birthing pod primary mission was to gather information on the target to allow the Grue inside to better infiltrate the targeted civilization, as well as educate them on the basic’s of Grue culture. Damaged in the assault the birthing pod still managed to lock onto a Grue signal and began to make it’s way towards the signal at it’s best speed. As it travelled it attempted to repair it primary databank’s using the information provided in the signal. However in this state it mistook the local broadcast’s for part of the Grue data transmission so began to incorporate them into the educational database. So Daphne was raised on the transmission beamed into space from Earth thinking for all the worlds that this was the culture that she had to integrate with and learn it’s way as well as learn important lesson about how best to live her life. Being so far from any other Grue Daphne was never linked to the Grue collective and developed independently from the baleful influence of the Meta-Mind. Also Mother Unit shielding was damaged and Daphne was exposed to extra Cosmic radiation which altered her body structure allowing her to alter it’s density and solidness. Somehow the Pod, who for the last sixteen year insisted Daphne called it Mother Unit, managed to land outside Freedom City without detection. With Mother Unit’s highly advanced computer skill they carefully constructed identity sure to fit into normal society. The Grue teen, possible the first of her kind, enrolled in the Burrough’s Community College to better learn about this wonderful planet that was now her home. And there was no doubt that she would use her natural abilities to help defend the people of her home, that was naturally what people did when they were gifted with such things. It helped that she enjoyed helping people so much, it didn’t seem so much as challenge as the educational database made it out to be. Personality & Motivation: Daphne strides through the world with a wide eyed wonder at all the amazing things that she sees. She knows that there is injustice and inequality in the world but she believe that if everyone could just sit down and talk thing out people could sort all this out. Even in the darkest of time she keeps her optimism that things will work out for the best and will never give up when situation get dire. Powers & Tactics: In her enthusiasm Daphne tend to go off half cocked spending no time assessing the situation instead rushing into danger to try and help people as quickly as she can. She will attempted to use her limited form of shifting abilities to best cope with the situation in hand. Complications: Grue are you? Daphne knowledge off her own species is based on a very damaged copy of the original database contained in Mother Unit. As such she know almost nothing, apart from the media’s portrayal of them, about her own species. Grue the looking glass Almost all of Daphne’s knowledge about Earth come from humanities broadcasts into space. As such her knowledge is slightly skewed and she expect life to behave just how she had experience thing from watching television and movies. Hide and Grue Daphne know that as a Superhero it is her duty to preserve her secret identity to protect her love one. Not that her strange habit’s make this easy sometimes. Grue the best Daphne is a natural optimist and naive and tend to natural assume that people are telling her the truth. Even when all evidence should be telling her the exact opposite. Congrueity: Shapeshifters and Grue especially are feared and hated by a majority of citizens of Freedom City. Daphne feel that this is just a massive misunderstanding and everything would be fine if only she could explain things to them. Mothering Grue: During her time in space the birthing Unit, now calling herself Mother Unit, has gained some unusual habit's based on the broadcasts she has monitored. She considers herself Daphne's literal mother and occasional will intervene of she consider that her daughter has been placed in to much danger. The GM can take control of Mother Unit to try and influence Daphne's actions or even attempt to stop her acting. Yeah Rene would be Lucy's first choice. So that would depend on whether SC, and your good self, were cool with him have a little cameo.
-
I'm not sure the people who go to those things can be quite viscous .
-
After a moment though, and a few sips of coffee, Lucy decided to suggest a few possible ways that they could proceed. “I know someone down at FCPD who part of the squad dealing with Super villains. I could ask Rhonda to run what we’ve got through their database to see if this thiefs been encountered before. I could probably even ask the League for help, though I’ve never spent much time with any of them.†Sometime she thought it was a little weird how she kept her detective work separate from her general superhero work. It wasn't like she treated either of them like a hobby they were both important to her. “We could also try some mystical help to try and trace her. I know this mage who helped me before, I’m sure he’d take a look at this. Though I must warn you he can be a little cranky at times.â€
-
After her failed efforts to collect any more information she had returned to Harry and taken a seat next to him. Whilst she did she went over what little she had discover which lead to some rather unpleasant possible outcomes. They would have to do something soon, but first they’d have to get together to compare notes. WHen Harry suddenly decided to leave she knew it would be best to join and protect him. “It’s it nerves they get to him sometimes. I better make sure he’s taken his pills today.†She quickly caught up with Harry, but not as quickly as she could, and slipped her arm round his own. Then she whispered in his ear. “So what do you have in mind? I think we should think about breaking up this party soon.â€

“Weirdly that’s just who we’ve been talking about.†What were the chances? It must be something about her magical nature, it freaked her out sometimes. “We’re go check him out see if he’s half man, half biscuit like you claimed. Now about those comm units?†Agnus turned towards the other two women with a little shrug. “You two go down and get what you need from the car park, I’ll get some comm’s and join you there. Then we can teleport straight over.†She gave Dee a quick look before asking. “You’re new to all this stuff right? Do you have yourself a costume or even a code name we can use?â€

Gallia Falling, part 2 - Rene-le-Chateau (IC)
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in Europe
With little fuss of ceremony Maranne threw back the cover of the painting. It was the sketch that Rene remember drawing so long ago he could see in his mind eye the the time when he drew the image. The sketch had been expertly painted, finished by someone with a skilled hand, and seemed so vibrant and alive. Not the strange color’s of the fake but somehow the combination of the colors seemed to make it live. “She’s aware of us, at least in some ways, it’s like she in a waking dream.†she bowed her head a seemed genuinely remorseful “I wish there had been another way, this was carried out by an evil man, but fate demands that she stays this way for a while.†-
Against all the rules of physics, though not magic, the night glowed with darkness. In the centre of this illuminating darkness stood the source of all this trouble. Whilst Nikki had taken care to craft a subtle bend of people to create a beautiful visage s/he, for they refused to take a gender, was a brutal merging of stark angular features. In some ways it was a beauty of a different type. S/he was rarely spoken of on Earth but the few mentions called the demon Tadyofyla. Flanked by the rest of the mercenaries s/he strode towards the church with a cruel purpose. S/he halted where the other mercenaries had taken cover seeming uncornered by any harm that could befall her. At that very moment the heavy wooden doors of the church were flung open, as if they weighed nothing, and Nikki threw her hand out wide as in greeting. “I’m back!â€

One of dress as a Foo Dog and wait for some to steal us?Well it worked for Scooby Doo . I'd think they could ask around the Police to see if they anything similar on record, or Lucy could ask her magical friends if you could find out anything?
-
Agnes looked up at the massive bulk of a vessel that brought her newfound friend her to America. You could say that this was what had started off this entire chain of events that lead to there being blood on her hands. To help the long road to cleaning them she hoped it also contained some answers. “Okay we need to get aboard that ship without attracting to much attention. Do you have an idea of how we can do that? The sensible thing would be for me to wait here, you could easily pass off as one of the sailors. But we can’t be sure that there won;t be any more trouble inside the ship.â€
-
Lucy popped back into the office and large bundle of takeaway food. She put the steaming hot food down on a rare spot of clean table. “Hope you like Szechuan food I’ve been told it’s spicy but I can’t really tell. Don’t worry I payed for it myself, I know the budget can’t handle a meal like this.†She smiled as she perched on the edge of the table and sipped at her strong black coffee. “So my little trip was a bit of a loss, apart from providing lunch, seems the label was just shipping information with nothing useful. Did you two have any more luck?â€
-
Lucy pulled a frown and did her best confused face, then resolving to a faint hint of anger. Whilst outwardly she player the upset ditzy inside her brain was whirling considering her options, to say the wrong thing could problems and put everyone in danger. “I knew the guy wasn’t on the level, he sounded far too keen on getting to flutter a bit of cash.†She paused and took a puff on the cigar, wonder not for the first time how she could do that without working lungs. “Don’t suppose you know what happened to kid? Is he still fighting or did he upset the wrong person?â€

“Right I’ll teleport us there in a moment I know this rough old pub down there that should do perfectly. Once were there I’ll keep air support incase thing get a little hairy. One thing i need to sort out first if you'll give me a sec." She stuck her head round the door looking for Cruxberry, when she spotted him a smile before asking for her demands. "We've go a lead we're going to follow up right away. I need four Comm Units, preferably Vanguard units, and a tablet with access to Archangel."

As Crow started his prayer for the dead Blodeuwedd removed her hood and lower her head, eye’s closed as she privately joined along in his lament. After he finished she allowed an extra minute of silence. Once that had passed she was again all business, though she kept her hood down. “Do you trust the efficiency of these detective? We don’t really want them ruining any evidence, mundane or otherwise endangering themselves. As for chasing up contact all of my magical contracts are back in Wales, so we’re going to have to rely on you contacts in this case. Will they have any problem with my presence or should I try to keep out of the way?â€

“True maybe I’ve been spending too much time in Freedom CIty, these kind of things tend to happen all the time. But if something going down I’m pretty sure he’s heard about it. Beside it can’t hurt to ask.†Jasmine statement cause Agnus to look at her with a gleam in her eye. “That’s exactly why I want you on board, it’s why I want this guy on board. We need these guy’s on board but that doesn’t mean we have to trust them completely. And I’d like someone with an outsiders perspective. As to finding him I suggest taking to the docks, though we’re definitely aren't playing the damsel in distress card.â€

Agnus didn’t reply straight away, instead she wandered over to the blueprint’s Dee had been studying. “If it was me trying to enter Haven I’d go in through the Thames... well I’d teleport in directly but thats me.†she gave a guilty little smile. “That would probably mean bring people and supplies through the dock’s.. Now it happens that I’ve heard of some hero that’s been working down at the dock, but he’s one of those stick to the shadow’s types. I’m never going to be able to find him, I’m just to obvious and well know, but the pair of you should have problems. Fancy a field trip?â€
