Personally I think Crownguard sound's like a brand of paint . Maybe we could have it both way's with a official name and a more tabloid name. I can see the Ministry would call it something like Team UK or Taskforce UK whilst the UK tabloids would give them a cheery nickname. If it's is a four man team it's probably be something Beatle's related like the Fab Four either that or something like the Fantastic Four, except that one's taken. As for a the old team I have an idea for an old friend of Agnus's mum who had a very bad trip in the 70's. Agnus's mum then got her help from the Ministry and they've stayed in touch since. I was thinking psychedelic type illusions. Maybe called something like Lucy S Diamond? What can I say I'm having a Beatle's things today .

You know it might be a little cheesy but I quite like Team UK or even Team EU.

Agnus gave the Zookeeper one of her winning smiles as she floated over. “You were probably under some kind of influence, trust me it could have been much worse.†she gave Subito a knowing look “The snake was as well so go easy on her, maybe an extra rat as a treat.†She plucked her special phone for the ether, the one she used for superhero business. “Here you can have have my number, and we'll be back to help tomorrow. What time would be best? Oh and I’m definitely not his girlfriend, so I’m open to offers.†she gave the man a cheeky wink.

All there is about Britannia is from the Book of Magic, p 107, everything else about her and YB I made up out of whole cloth. One of the main points, and the most useful is that one of the previous Britannia's is Annie Pennington is the Head of the Ministry of Powers. It also say's that she take's an active role in mentoring Britannia. If Britannia went missing I'm sure she would actively take an interest in finding what happened to the woman. It could also be that whilst she no longer Britannia she still has somekind of ink to them all. As for YB and Britannia I can she them connected in two way's. With YB still being active in the UK, despite spending time in the US, the two would have met in someway. With them sharing a common origin through the Spirit of Britannia I could she them striking up a friendship. Then there's the idea that the Spirit of Justice is a part of Britannia and as such linked in someways, so anything happened to one the other would be aware of it. If something happened to Britannia's host I could see it making a beeline towards YB to help sort out what happened. Luckily I've kept the whole pastlife stuff quite vague, so she doesn't instantly know what happened. I'd quite like for Agnus to end up become Britannia, but I know it might not be possible what with Britannia being an established NPC.

With Skill Mastery that would be 21.

You know with YB the obvious choice would be Britannia, I ilke the idea of this mantle of responsabilty thrust upon her along with the mystery of what happened to the previous owners. Cause I understand that it might not be possible and all, but I gotta at least ask.

Lucy didn’t have any reason to doubt what the Detective was saying all that bothered her was that this could be some kind of elaborate setup. The whole deal was a legal grey area and if thing went wrong she’d be the one on the wrong side of the law. but there was really only one way to find out for sure. She didn’t let any of her concerns show, but instead gave the Detective a smile. “Of cause Detective Chase I’d be happy to help if you want we can go now I just need to go get my coat.†She hoped she wouldn’t get into any trouble this time the problem with heroing was that it played hell with her clothes.

Blodeuwedd gave the Serpent Person and glare, acting as if the young jungle’s girls action hadn’t had any effect on her. In truth she was quite pleased that Tsunami had dealt with the situation so well, but now she had to concentrate on what this creature actually knew. “That would be a good start, but I’m not sure if you know anything of value...†Pride was almost as good a weapon as fear, and Serpent People were as a race nothing if not prideful. Which meant there was a good chance that this one Serpent knew the whole plan in full.

Let's finish this for real this time . I'll spend a HP for a Takedown attack and try and punch the two thug's out. Attack roll 1d20+12=21 if that's a hit it's a DC27 Toughness save.

After the impromptu introduction she returned her attentions to the remaining thug’s, it was amazing that after all this time thug’s still fought the same way they had back in her day. Actually she was more surprised that they still did fight, then again some people never learned. That said it did mean the they were just as easy to take down, with a lot less grace or skill than Crimson Tiger she went so a punch against the nearest thug to her, putting herself in the perfect position to follow up with another blow against the second thug. Well that was the plan at least.

Okay four floor, a basement and steam tunnels. At 10 ft a floor that would be a +6, let's increase that by 50% for HM mass and a sneaky +1 cause. So that a DC 25 Toughness roll 1d20+16=26. Damn it!

The creature made a series of strange sounds in the infernal tongue even to Carmen’s ear it made no sense, Nikki however seemed to recognize the sound’s. She didn’t look particularly happy about this. “Ah that’s could make things interesting. It was my old boss when I got assigned to Earth, and probably a demotion when I went rogue.†The Hellhound made a little surprised looks, they weren't exactly used for their brains. “So it didn’t tell you that. Do you know how many other demon’s she has on staff?†The hellhound said that it didn’t deal with anyone else. “Great so one or more shapeshiting demons. It’s a Succubus so it’s probably got human followers. This could get complicated.â€

As everyone was picking on the same Hellhound it's now returned to it's comfy hot home. The other hellhound is going to stop struggling and await it's fate. We'll drop out of combat whilst you decide what to do with it, info wise Carmen would know the creature only had animal level intelligence.

The fireball engulfed the already wounded demon dog and when the smoked cleared the creature was no longer there, all that remained was a faint whiff of sulphur. The other creature seeing it was outnumber stopped struggling and gave a rather pathetic whimper. “Always gotta show boat haven’t you Missy? Just like your Dad in that matter.†The vehicle’s drew to a halt throwing up a cloud of thick desert dust. Rachael took out her cell and held it up to take a picture of the beast, though wisely she kept the shotgun trained on it. “Don’t worry just for personal use. Though I might Blog this all later†Nikki for her part stood up and leant on the Jeep’s window, looking down at the bound Hellhound. “What do you plan to do with this one?â€

Madame Vapeurs eye’s sparkled and gave a broad smile, giving a little clap. “It’s such a primitive machine all it can do is arithmetic. Nothing compared to the wondrous computation machine of this world.†she breezed past the other two heros and patted the Differential Engine, which clattered into life making a sound not unlike a very angry clock. “But it can tell one of it’s more advanced colleagues to increase a certain figure by an amount. Rather a lot as it happens. The statues are rather more complex, and all my own work, and are here to protect these precious device’s.†She stood under the mock fireplace looking rather pleased with herself.

With as much slowness as she could get away with she took out a cigarette and took a few puffs, offering the packet to her would be assailant. “I can say with all honesty very little. It seems he’s not been in country long but he’s already made friends and enemies. Is that not the American way?†she took another drag of her cigarette "Beyond that I don't know anything else." She was fairly confident against this upstart thug for one reason somehow she had this gift an extra-special ability, that and the comforting steel of the revolver in her purse. If things turned ugly she was sure she could simply deal with things.

“I’m sorry to be the skeptic here, but how are we to believe this woman’s marvelous story of a strange aporting woman? I would like a little more proof than that before I take one someone like the Priory. They made have some... unusual view’s but I don’t think they mean harm.†Father Henri seemed almost apologetic, he seemed to still be struggling with the day’s revelations. “Oh I know her, or at least one version of her, Spiritus Iudicii some call her.†her tone took on a more serious tone “They wish to restore the divine right of kings with there pure holy bloodline. What better for a group like that to have their own spiritual protector, one who hates everything the Republic had achieved.â€

There was no answer to the door, not surprising from a vampire during the day. After a few second the Guest Houses manager, who had followed them up, stepped delicately between the pair and unlocked the door. The room was quite spacious and decorated in quite a restrained manner, and seemed to have been completely untouched. Light even filtered in from the window, which meant it was unlikely that the vampire was sleeping in this room. Which just left the Bathroom, which seemed to be closed and locked.

Lucy didn’t pose much of an imposing figure she was short and didn’t appear more than a pretty young thirty year old woman, if not a little on the pale side, until you got to her eye’s two pits of pure darkness. It all seemed at odds with her warm friendly smile. “Hello there Detective Chase, please excuse my dress I was having a bit of a lazy day.†She was dressed casually in a pair of jeans, a Flag’s baseball shirt and a pair of sneakers which despite any instance she’d just thrown it on still looked good on her. Out of habit, having dealt with vampire’s for the last couple of year, she didn’t invite the detective into the house. Once the Detective had entered she was once again the ideal host guiding the other woman into the lounge. “So detective what can I help you with?â€

Madame Vapeur sipped her Champagne a rather bemused look on her face, she then gave a little look at her rather expensive little watch. “You know I’m almost disappointed in you Lord Lockwood, I thought you’d have this all figured out by now. I’m on a tight schedule so if you’d like to show that keen intellect of yours. UNless you are the brainless fop you make yourself out to be...†Whilst Subito tried to figure out the crime in the room Blodeuwedd was looking at the two statue’s that held the curtain separating the display from the party. “You know I think these thing might be articulated. Why would you have two Art Deco statues in front of a very Victorian display?â€

Hellhound Toughness 1d20+6-1=15, so he's Staggered and Dazed as well

Nikki looking back noticed that Carmen had dropped her bike so suddenly soun the Jeep round in a tight bootleg turn. Unfortunately for her the hellhound reacted just as just spinning round and catching the jeep with it’s massive claws. “Well that’s going to be difficult to explain on the insurance claim.†her ow blast of hellfire going wide. Axel for his part was as cool as always just standing up in the Jeep, despite it sudden change in direction, and pumped a shotgun round into the beast. It gave a little whelp, the silver slugs must have been as effective as he claimed. “I’m beginning to like you kid, despite the whole demon thing.â€

Hellhound 1 is going to try and take out the Jeep 1d20+5=25, and with that it's quite likely. He's just going for damage so DC 29 Save 1d20+9=25. So poor Jeep is injured, and the fire aura is still in effect so it needs to save verses DC20 1d20+9=26 no worries. Rachael tries to hit it with the Shotgun 1d20+4=8, a miss, and so does Axel 1d20+4=16. Which is just a hit, I'll treat them as solid slug so DC 21 Staggered and dazed. That Axel a bit useful you should keep him around . 16 Pitch, Unharmed, 1HP 15 Nikki, Unharmed, GM (Her Jeep is Injured) 10 Hellhound 1, Bound, Helpless, Bruised, GM 9 Hellhound 2, Dazed and Staggard, GM 9 Ironhorse, Unharmed, GM 8 Axel, Unharmed, GM Pitch is up.

YB doesn't have any kind of Intimidate skill at all 1d20+3=21, not bad for an amateur. It has been kindly pointed out that it would be more useful if I assisted Starlight in Intimidating them rather than strike out on her own. So YB shall assist Starlight, giving her a +3 bonus.
