The mansion showed signs that it hadn’t been looked after for some times some spaces suggested that the mansion had been looted, possibly during the Revolution. The house however showed signs that it was still quite actively in use, with many feet having traipsed through it’s space recently. Marianne seemed completely at home, but she seemed to be at home everywhere, Father Henri however seemed a little nervous at being in his house. “Where do we go now? Without missing a beat marianne spoke a little spaced out, or more so than normal, as if listening to an inner voice, “We go upstairs, we have any ally in this house.†They both looked to Rene, for better or worse he seemed to have become the De Facto leader.

Unless she was playing the part Blodeuwedd wasn’t normally a tactile person, she didn’t normally hug anyone unless she considered it important. The plaque declared it was a Ether Rifle and described how it projected bursts of energized Ether. On a small workbench in the corner was a series of small devices of various function and completion, all of which showed it’s previous owner had a ingenious invented mind. Finally in a pedestal in the center of the room was the pride of the collection the so called Lockwood Diamond. A magnificent example of an uncut diamond and to most eye’s it was almost priceless. To Lord Steam’s trained eye all of these mechanical wonder were still in perfect working order, though the weapon was made safe.

Blod's going to try and Intimidate the Bridge crew to do as she ask's, mostly the Pilot, to try and shut the ship down. With Skill Mastery her Intimidate is 24.

She could she in the way he talked, but more in his face, that he was lying to her. Never a good thing. “Please Captain don’t try lying to me, no Captain worth his salt doesn’t know what he’s carrying.†As she spoke she slipped one of her throwing knives from it’s holder. “Final chance, stop the engine’s before I have to do it myself.†She threw the knife so it embedded in the window mere centimeters from the ship pilot, the aim right now was to make him more scared of her than the Captain. “And that’s my final warning.â€

Merge gave another of her cheeky smiles. “Well I’m not really good at one with plan’s, I tend to improvise on the spot.†It was a tiny lie, Nicki use to plan there heist in minute details, but when trouble went down Merge tended to take over and she tended to make thing up as she went along. “Though knowing Marvelous she’ll be fashionable late so I’d like to keep things low key, so no backup. We to disperse the crowd or at least keep trouble to a minimum, then go see what she wants.†she waved her hand is a vague manner Cause the whole thing made up a plan, but she was hoping that Velocity didn’t notice that...

“Well I’d be happy to take you Free Climbing, but I’m not sure you’d get the whole thrill of the thing. It’s mostly about the challenge, but it also about the risk.†there was a sparkle in her eye when she spoke, a spark of passion about something that she rarely showed. “And to be honest you’d never really understand the risk, because if you fall you can fly. I mean I know I have my grapple, but there’s always a risk I won’t react in time. And to be honest when I want a real challenge I often don’t bring it along.â€

Blodeuwedd was still scouting slightly ahead of the group as they moved, but she was also paying some attention to what was going on in the group. She often found Subito inane babble relaxing. At the mention of Mencius she was reminded of a quote which she found herself saying out loud. “He who attends to his greater self becomes a great man, and he who attends to his smaller self becomes a small man.†She looked back at the rest of the group and feeling they needed an explanation of how she knew about him she explained. “Taid insisted we learn about the philosophers and scholar whilst he taught me to fight. Said it help one understand the fighting styles better. “

Agnes didn’t bother to look up at Roi as he entered and spoke continuing instead to touch up her makeup. Sometime it paid to keep someone waiting, it made sure the person knew who was in charge. “I hope you didn’t have to make a deal with Jack, he’s as slippery as Old Nick and worse than that he’s in the pocket of the Mob.†She lit up a cigarette and blew out a long plume of smoke, on then did she finally she looked up a Roi and gave him a smile. “So now that you’re here what do you think we should do with the problem or our mutual friend?â€

As most of the guards are minions and there weapons can't hurt Asad could you give me some narrative combat before we move on.

Merge looked a little disappointed. “Well if you’ve read my file...†her face scrunched up in thought “... if I have a file, you see that I’d never harmed anyone. In fact I even gave up anyone I worked with who I thought we’re about to hurt people.†She carefully picked her up, keeping an eye on Velocity the whole time. “I think she must see us as kindred spirits, seems everyone still thinks I’m the villain,...†she gave an exaggerated hurt look “... that must be why she invited me. And I plan to use that to try and blunt the usual chaos her plan’s normally cause.â€

As they took there seat’s she picked out the potential troublemakers in case thing ended, as they tended to, with trouble breaking out. In her time in the 21st century Lucy was still surprised by how much some things had changed. But it was more surprising how many things had stayed the say. Or as someone put it Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. All the bookies, guards and general spectators reminded her of the same kind of sorts that existed back in the 20’s. It was just that everyone was so much better dressed in the 20’s, but then again not everything changed for the better.

Merge propped herself up, but didn't yet bother to stand back-up. She was deliberately not making any sudden moves, in case it could be seen as the opening for an attack. “I think I’ve spent more time on my tush, literally and metaphorically, since I’ve decided to become a hero. Seems she decided to recruit an assistant, a Marvelous Idol if you will. She sent me a copy and I suspect it’s some kind of trap, so I asked Asad for some help.†She held her hand up and slowly opened the little jacket she was wearing. “I have the video here on my cell, and it is mine all bought and paid for. I’ve even got a receipt.â€

Well I had to be nice to Asad, he’s the closest I’ve go to an ally, but I don’t need to be nice to this one... Oh no you don’t we need all the help we can get, be nice. Then she tipped her head to one side and gave a dumb look, before pointing to her head. “But wait I can do this.†And just like that Merge was gone from in front of Velocity, a voice from behind her ear then spoke. “I could have escaped any time I wanted but, and I know it’s hard to believe, but I’m trying to turn over a new leaf. I needed help and Asad is the only person this side of the fence I know and trust. Though given his relationship to madame Marvelous I shouldn’t have expected a warm welcome.â€

Blodeuwedd paused just inside the bridge, once she had secured a reasonable hiding place and whispered into the comm’s “It seems the ship does have something dodgy going on. Giang at the rear dealing with Devil Ray of all people, I’m going to try something but please come join us.†Keeping on the move and the shadow of the room, though she didn’t need them, she spoke out loud to the Captain and the room dialing down her accent to be almost unnoticeable. “Then do the honourable thing Captain, shut down those engines. Once we’ve dealt with Devil Ray we can discuss the cargo you’ve got in the hold.â€

On the Stairs The young woman on the stair gave a little sigh, and suddenly there was two identical versions of the woman. The new one standing there helped the other to her feet. “No I’m not a student her Doc, the names Merge Trois. And despite what you might have heard about me I’m actually the good guy here. There are some very bad people on the way up the stairs, so the me here...†the Merge on the left indicated to the other her on the right “Will lead you up and away from danger.†In the Stack’s As Nicki tried to lead Liebniz subtly away he paused and looked slightly spaced out for a minute. “Do you feel that it’s like... it’s like...†he then recovered his composure “Take your hand off me child, I’m not some kind of imbecile.†He began to move towards the rear of the stacks, but slower than Nicki would have really liked. he seemed to be dawdling like he was waiting for something to arrive.

Luckily they played us early enough in the season, that was a busy year for me.†she spoke as if these things had happened yesterday, which to her it almost was. As they were speaking a few of bricks they had unloaded began to rattle slightly as they began to move under their own control.

But we can probably jam them.†she gave a little smile “In the panic they forgot all about poor little me in the chair.†There was a little shimmer, and suddenly there was a merge in the corner, seeming listening to a voice that only she could hear. “It seems that Angela is still in there, but she being suppressed by a much more powerful AI, luckily it’s keeping them both busy right now. And they’ve not bothered to cancel the 911 call, so the Ambulance is going to be here real soon. So do we go round or through?â€

The two guards seemed totally taken in with the duplicate of the party and began to shout insults back at the insulting phantoms. It was fairly obvious that they wouldn’t get fooled for long. Father Henri was about to say something, but instead said something that a priests shouldn’t really know. Crossing himself he drew Rene attention to Marianne. It seems that Marianne had decided she needed a better view, and so was now floating just above the two men. “It seems your little friend has a few talent’s you neglected to mention†Father Henri had recovered quickly from his shock Marianne for her part looked her normal innocent self, not quite realizing what she had done.

Blodeuwedd enjoy just dancing around for a little while whilst Subito talked his little heart out. She’d always liked his earnestness, even if she didn’t really agree with what he was saying. She nodded in the right places and paid just enough attention to answer question, she could help but take it all in it was how she was trained. Though mostly she enjoyed being physically close to him. “You know what I really like doing? Free climbing, there isn’t a tall building in the city I haven’t tried climbing. I’d take you with me but I’m not sure you’d be able to appreciate it, it’s all about the challenge and possible danger.â€
