Since she had returned her didn’t really feel pain how she use to, except for the wounds caused by fire. The sharp stab of pain as her clothes and flesh began to burn momentarily stunned Lucy and she was unable to react to the sudden escape of the Master. Once she’d recovered from the pain she spurred herself into action. She didn’t fear the fire but she was aware that if she stayed too long it could do her irreparable damage. She wasn’t sure what would happen at the point and wasn’t sure she was quite ready to find out, ironical she still had so much life to live. besides it was her responsibility to stop the Master’s further plan’s. The obvious exit was the door she had entered through, despite the steel currently protection it. Striding to the back of the room, ignoring the flames flickering around her, she gained as much distance as she could before charging towards the sealed door.

Well her regeneration will take care of the injury I'll roll for next round action now to save time 1d20+12=28. So she's okay for next round at least. I'll go for the easy option and take out the steel door, even though she could make the jump. Do you want me to roll the door's toughness?

Gallia Falling, part 2 - Rene-le-Chateau (IC)
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in Europe
“Well I’m only a simple travelling priests and gave none of the experience you’ve seemed to gathered, but I’ll happily provide you with whatever assistance I can.†Father Henri gave a little grin. Pulling on his coat she gently guided Rene away from Marianne was happily sat there humming to herself. “But what of your sister? These men may not be happy to see us, especially if they are plotting against France. And such a place would not be safe for a young woman, especially as she seems to be distracted easily.†-
Blodeuwedd crouched down beside the rest of them her hand falling naturally to the hilt of Dyrnwyn. She also pulled down her goggles from the top of her head so she get a better use at whatever “flavour†of magic’s the Serpent Sorcerer was using, it was fairly obvious what the magic’s effect was. “We could go around, I doubt it would add much extra time to our journey. But then again these creature’s might be able to provide us with information, and it should be awhile before there missed. If at all, these are dangerous lands.â€

In some way Blodeuwedd had been dreading this moment. She of course knew how to do small talk, she’d been trained to be able to find common ground with almost everyone. But that was to gain a persons confidence so ultimately revolved around the “targetâ€. Her life didn’t really have a normal to talk around. “You know I’m not very good on small talk, and I’m not sure you want to hear what various cliche around Claremont are up to right now. To be honest you probably know more about that than I do.†She put head on her hand and looked at him as innocently as she could, in these circumstances it’s was best to sneak up on the person, conversationally speaking. And sneaking was one thing she was good at. “There was one thing I was wondering about. You’ve meet my family, so when do i get to return the favour?â€

Agnus stopped mid cleaning and gave her new friend a relieved looking smile, she felt a little guilty that she had to lie to her but it was really for Megans benefit. “When I got seperated from you I thought it was best to hide away until all the trouble had died down. Did you get to see what happened? All I saw was the three costumes turn up, was one of them a hero? I assume there was some kind of smackdown.†She hoped she sound excited enough and wasn’t showing too much knowledge of what had just gone on. “Sorry I guess this is everyday to everyone around here, for me the novelty still hasn’t worn off. Even if I go running when trouble starts.†she gave a broad grin.
-
Agnus blushed at Broken Crow’s comment’s, she really hoped that the Master Mage’s didn’t share memories in the same way that she and others did or if she did meet the current Master Mage there would be a lot of awkward silences. Before she could say anything back the world just lurched around them, she hoped she had enough time to blow him a small kiss as they faded from the 19th Century and back to the 21st Century. Even then when she arrived she checked her phone to see if they we’re really back home, though she didn't really expect a good signal in the middle of the swamp. but on the off chance it did work she would have liked have know how long they’ve been away. Still she somehow knew that they were back home, ever since she’d been in the 19th century she’d had the vaguest itch of another version of the spirit just on the edge of her (mystical) senses. “Well we’ve got Madame Malise to worry about, but not right now, I suggest we go home and get some rest. Do you want to fly? Or I could teleport us both back to the studio.â€

Maybe she was little jaded the world of magic was almost an everyday thing to her. Atlantis was just a fact of life to her. “When you live in a place it tend just to be the place you live in, I’m sure that for most people living here Freedom City is just a place they call home.†She was just kicking herself for not noticing the connection with Thaelia, though the Order and Atlantis had very few encounters. At least in more recent times, the only aquatic people that sometimes gave the order trouble… “We’ve not had many encounters with the Atlanteans, but we do have intermittent trouble with the Fomori who live off the coast of the Tory Island. I think most people call them Deep One’s now. They try and set up outpost in Cardigan Bag even couple of decades…†She paused and turned to Thaelia all smile now; she was trying to play the part of the perfect host. “I’m sorry this must be all new to you, the school I mean. Would you like us to give the tour? Or at least show you to the Dorms.â€

Wow I really don’t think he is happy to see us! Well what do expect the first time we met him we robbed him and the second time we bought him to the virtual ghost of his old girlfriend. How exactly would you feel to see us again? Point taken. So how do we do this? Well let’s try the truth. With the door closed Merge whole demeanor changed she was a little less flamboyant around Asad. She pulled her tiny skirt down into a much more sensible charcoal number and buttoned up a better fitting white blouse. Finally she tied her hair back into a simple ponytail. “Camera’s doing much better now thanks’ to your help, he can even hold a conversation for a minute or two.†She paused and fiddled for a few seconds, she was actually feeling a little nervous “Thanks to you I’ve decided to go straight, and you have no reason to trust my word right now.†She got a rather expensive top end Cell phone and put it on the desk. “It’s mine bought and paid for, you can have the number if you want. All I ask is that you watch the video after that I’ll leave if you want.†She pressed the play button and Madame Marvelous began her unique sales pitch…

Blodeuwedd thought for a few second then spoke calmly and carefully. “I’m going to the hold to try and find out what so precious could you slow down the ship leaving Giang? Maybe cut the propellers off from the water or something similar I should only need a few minutes. But try to stay out of trouble.†As she spoke she made her way towards one of the hatchways into the bowls of the ship, before she entered the superstructure she pause to check in with Mali just in case the ship interfered with the comms. “Mali we could use some help up here are you finished with that lughead yet?â€

As much as the idea of the two of them being unstuck in time, Angus in the Deep South in the 60's would be interesting, it probably been a bit to long since the thread started. So yeah back to the modern day. And I'm up for further threads involving Malaise et al.

Yeah I figured as much no worries. Though if you do want to post I've made sure everyone saw Merge's entry .

Agnes still wasn’t quite sure if her new found ally would yet be partner or her patsy. He seemed to be after the same thing, but she’d been in this game long enough to know not to trust anyone on first impressions. She stubbed out her cigarette and drained the last dregs of her whiskey. “I have a little changing room out back, it’s not much this place doesn’t have many comforts for its star. Except Harry of cause.†She blew the barman a little kiss “I have to get ready for a show soon anyhow, Maybe you could join me backstage Roi?†Without waiting for an answer she began to sauntered away almost sure that the Roi would follow her.

“It seem’s that what they say about the Celt’s applies to us as well, For their battle’s are all merry, And their song are all sad.†As the other had told there tale Blodeuwedd was trying to decide what story to tell. She’d been tempted to tell stories about perseverance, about Rhiannon and Pwyll how he persured her and eventually wed her or how Rhiannon and Pryderi carried on when all the Welsh disappeared. But one tale was close to her heart one she knew so very well. “When Arianhod gave birth to Lleu Llaw Gyffes she cursed him so denying her an important position in the court of Math. The worst of these was the final curse, that he would never find a wife from any race’s living on Earth or beyond. But Gwyidon and Math were wise and cunning and devised a way to circumvent the curse. Taking the flowers of the oak, bloom and the meadowsweet they conjured up the fairest and most beautiful maiden anyone has ever seen. And they baptised her Blodeuwedd.†She paused a few second and hoped they all wouldn’t consider her choice of story a vanity. In no way did she consider herself the fairest and most beautiful of women. “And when Lleu Llaw Gyffes save her he was instantly smitted with her and they were wed, and for a while they were happy all in the kingdom was well. But no one ask Blodeuwedd opionion on the matter and she meet and feel in loe with another and hunter called Gronw Pebr. Together they plotted to kill Lleu Llaw Gyffes and she learned in what circumstances that her current husband could be killed. Gronw did the deed but Lleu was no normal man and the blow didn’t kill him and he escaped by turning into an eagle. When Gwydion found out this plan he tracked down Lleu and transfored him back to human form. He tracked Gronw down hiding behind a rock and struck him dead with a blow from a spear straight through the boulder. And for Blodeuwedd part in the plan she was transformed into a Owl and cursed to live only in darkness shunned by all the other birds.â€

The woman looked on the verge of tears as she spoke. She was still confused and scared by King of Suit’s words seemed to bolster “I’m…I’m not sure it’s all so vague. I’m just getting flashes of someone else’s memories.†Her voice broke for a second “She saw so many horrible things… and she has such hatred from that man there.†She had shuffled herself into an upright position and was gesturing toward to one of the two Rene’s “He did something to her, something so devastating. I think it has something to do with how she was bound into the painting.â€

With Asad stunned the drone seemed to lose interest in him and instead focused their attention on the horde of Merge’s currently occupying most of the room. All except two drone which seemed to paying attention the box that contained the virtual Angela. The other Drone and Merge’s were engaged in a flurry of fists and a blast’s of energy. For a while it was difficult to follow who was gaining the upper hand as new Merge’s seemed to pop up as quickly as them were taken down. Finally all the Merge’s were still standing whilst a single drone was still on it spindly legs.

She hefted the large sport bag, which contained her possessions, to her shoulder. It had a number of hiding places and slot to help conceal the various devices she relied on. “I can’t promise I’ll never tell anyone.†She was supressing a smile “But for now your secret’s safe. But I’m sure there be plenty of chances for girls to see you naked…†She wondered past, it was enough to imagine the colour he was going right now. â€The gateway is right here, we can leave when you ready." She looked at him over her shoulder “But one day I’m going to take you up on that dinner date in Cardiff.â€

Gallia Falling, part 2 - Rene-le-Chateau (IC)
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in Europe
As a priest he was obviously use to listening to other peoples issues and confessions, but the young priest seemed to be genuinely interested in what Rene had to say. Marianne put her head on her hands and rested them of the back of pews watching the pair with rapt attention. “I like to think I am also a man of reason, it’s just that I see God’s plan in the details. But I have also seen the world of spirit’s and demons behind the veneer of reason. Maybe after we have dealt with this you could tell more of your story, as two Frenchmen telling tales of their lives. But first…†he raised her glasses in a toast “To France may it long continue.†He drowned his wine and stood up. “It’s strange but I wasn’t going to visit Rennes-le-Chateau today, but a young woman not unlike your sister convinced me to visit this little village.†-
“Oh I’m fine thanks’ I guess the whole situation just spooked me a little.†Agnus gave a little friendly smile. “I got separated from my friends so I decided to hide away until the whole situation died down a bit.†Almost subconsciously she picked up one of the fallen chairs is was after all partly her fault for the mess. As she spoke she carried on helping the two women tidying up the coffee shop. “I guess it’s all old news for all you, but we don’t get many super’s fighting back in London.†Cause she saw it all everyday but even she didn’t get the sheer number of fight that happened daily in this city.

Nicki had watched the video a number of times and kept coming back to one detail. You know that’s where we fought those two human glow worms. And out of all the Studio’s and even building she could pick she just happened to choose that one. It got to be some kind of invitation, or even a trap of some sort. So I figure I’m going to need some help. Into the lobby of the building that Summit was based confidently strolled another Merge dressed in a similar manner to the merge currently taking Nicki’s lesson. Leanig ovrer the counter of the reception she took time to blow a bubble before speaking. “Hi there I’m Merge Trois, I’ve got an important matter to discuss with Asad.†Once the poor receptionist had recovered her composure a flurry of calls, along with a couple of Security Guards, Merge was carefully escorted up to one of Summit’s conference room drawing attention to herself everywhere she went. Merge of cause lapped all this attention up blowing kisses and doing little wave to people as she passed by.

GM “Hello I reaching out to you my fan because honestly I’m a little bored. There’s just something missing from my life right now.†As she spoke the camera zoomed out a little as she removed the head from the Teddy bear suit revealing the face of Madame Marvellous “The problem is that I’ve just got no-one around to have a proper conversation with.†As the camera continued to zoom out it became clear that she was sat on a throne made out of half a dozen people, in a variety of different costumes. “So I’m holding open auditions to find for myself a little assistant, If you think you’ve got what it takes then I’ll be at Onika studio from 8 am sharp, well thinking about it make that 9 am, on the 5th of March.â€
