  1. Mad was she mad, there was the man she been hunting for months, and she was calmly talking to a complete stranger. But she’d need to get her gun, and she couldn’t be sure that he wouldn’t leave. Maybe he could come in useful. “Can’t a woman just buy a man a drink?†she offer up her cigarette and waited for a light “Beside it’s stop Harry hassling me too much. It’s Alla by the way, Agnes Alla. Some call me the Angel they seem to think I sing like one.†She sipped her Whiskey and leaned provocatively against the bar.
  2. Whether or not the card had any effect the King of Suit’s couldn’t tell. Her blasts of light continued to go wide of her target, but that could just be the obscuring mists of Rene magic. Those disadvantages however didn’t seemed to be her main concern. “Those innocents are the dependents of the people who trapped me in that prison. You’re friend there was my Jail keeper until my imprisonment. And now he consorts with that abomination.†There was real fury now in her voice, any veneer of calm stripped away.
  3. Gallia's Reflex Save; 1d20+8=18. So she's blinded, which ironically leaves her in the same situation with the concealment. She'll fire back at KoS. 1d20+8=17, you've obviously put her off her game.
  4. Unless anyone has anything else to say, we're go back into rounds. For ease we'll keep the same rolls. 21 El Heraldo, bruised, 6 hp 17 Avian, unharmed 9 Lord Steam, unharmed, 3 hp (full defense) 7 Blodeuwedd, unharmed, 3 hp
  5. Fort Save: 1d20+9=24, so no sickened for YB. Initiative: 1d20+1=12
  6. Surge for second attack 1d20+10=11, right one last try (and my last HP) 1d20+10=27. Yay!
  7. Blodeuwedd knew that she didn’t have much time before she had to leave, she didn’t want to lose the rest of the groups. Still maybe she didn’t have to she did have a friend in the air. “Subito I need a lift; we don’t what this thin trying to follow my scent.†Whilst she waited for her lift to pick her up she decided to try one more attack. Dodging between the creatures grasp she aimed for the underside of the creature with Dyrnwyn. She hoped that like most creatures it had a soft underside she could wound with her weapon.
  8. I shall defeat this T-Rex, oh yes I shall! Standard Action: Power Attack 1d20+10-2=26, so a DC 27 Toughness Save. Let's see what that does.
  9. “Well I’m not sure being a semi-failed pop starlet’s is a good qualification to be able to spot current trends. To be honest I tend to just go for act’s which are good, whatever there genre.†Thanks to the spirit she was blessed with a perfect memory, but for show she thought about it for a few seconds. “Jumping Jackie’s, a new local group from Lincoln. There’s pretty good, you should check them out. I offer cheap recording time for newcomers. It fills dead studio time and if they become famous…†she gave a little shrug “I might be able to score tickets, but right now they probably need the money. Sorry no perk’s just yet, just quite good coffee.†She gave one of her easy smiles.
  10. “I’m not normally meant to do this, but as it’s an emergency it should be okay. Things might get a little weird.†AS she finished talking there was a flash of light and Rene felt a sensation like falling. OR maybe flying as his vision cleared the vast vista of France was laid out below him. Covering the land was millions of globes of lights, which Rene somehow knew that each was an intelligence human or otherwise. Magnificent isn’t it? Turning Rene saw Marianne, but not the tiny Woman-Child, this was the proud noble warrior woman Rene remembered from the painting and stories from the Revolution. I’m afraid that you have been done a disservice by our kind Rene deSaens. Our reason for existence isn’t to rule over or control mankind, just listen and you’ll hopefully understand. As suddenly Rene could hear the thoughts of all of France, peoples hopes, dreams and ambitions. But the loudest voices were those of hopelessness and despair, people who cried out for someone anyone to help them. Those are the voices I hear strongest as well. Those who followed Reason feared giving me too much power and bound me envoy into a form that couldn’t threaten then earthly power. I could have become like Gallia and raged against the crimes that were done against me. But then who would answer some of those cries for help?
  11. “To mirror the person movements and to give little motions and touches to feint possible attraction. How to appear to show an interest in their work and hobbies.†Her voice wasn’t particularly unkind and softer than her normal matter of fact tone “I was trained how to get close to people to find out important information and recover artefacts, not how to go on a first date.†She reached over and gently touched Suito on the hands. “I’m here to spend a pleasant evening with my boyfriend, we’ll eat some nice food, have some conversation and maybe some kissing. After that who knows…†the final line was punctuated with just a simple raise of the eyebrow.
  12. “Unfortunately I’ve found out I’m a half decent businesswoman. It mean’s I can’t spend as much time on my music as I’d like. Maybe I should get an assistant, ‘especially if I do manage to write some new material.†She gave a little twirl and struck her most outrageous fashion pose. “Hundred Quid Camden Market, my Dad pick it up before I left London. He seems to think it makes me look like some kind of Sci-Fi hero.†Stopping only briefly to tell Gail she’d be out for about half an hour, and to subtly remind her that there was work that really needed doing. “She’s a good kid, but she can forget sometime quite why she here. I’m helping her with her University studies, she help keep my business organized.â€
  13. “I don’t want to say I told you so, but I did offer to try and help you in the first place.†But how to describe her existence since coming back? “The difference between me and the other is than unlike Stone I feel, passionately but unlike Nora I not controlled by my emotions. When I came back I found that I had lost everything, I miss my family and friends. I still miss them, whilst it’s been 80 years for everyone else it’s still only a year about for me. But you know what I get to see the future, the wonders of this age that we couldn’t have even imagined in my day and age. And you know what I get to see what the future leads.†She couldn’t help but give a little smile. “The world is full of amazing wonders and people and I get a chance to see it all.â€
  14. On John’s summons Bloduwedd responds almost immediately dropping off of the creature onto the ground. That didn’t mean she wouldn’t take another chance to try and harm the dinosaur. As she dropped to the ground she used Dyrnwyn to rake the side of the creature, both slowing her decent and harming the creature in the process. At the last minute she couldn’t help but give a little roll before she hit the ground. She then gestured to the ambassadors to leave the wreck of the building/ “Go now, I’ll cover you as you leave. Getting yourself eaten trying to be a hero will achieve nothing for any of your causes.â€
  15. Move Action: Drop to the ground Standard Action: Rake the poor beastie 1d20+10=18, I'm sure that hit's so another DC 25 Toughness save.
  16. Blodeuwedd had a fairly important decision to make here, in her training for infiltration she’d been taught how to have and act in almost any social situation. But to do that she’d have to play the part, and not be Cerys or even Blodeuwedd. The other way would be to act just like she always did, but that carried the chance of embarrassing Subito. “Imagine yourself as one of those secret agents’s you keep comparing me to. Even if you don’t know what you’re doing, act as if you do. Or just be yourself, you'll never meet these people again so why worry what they think?â€
  17. “I’d be happy for anyone to try out the longbow, but it was built for my height and pull strength so some of you will have to careful with it.†She’d listen as each of them told there idea’s for the kind of stories they’d like to tell, as she did an idea sprung to mind. A very old idea as it happened to be. “There’s an ancient bardic tradition where everyone tell their best tale to audience. Then the audience gets to decide whose story was told best. The winner would receive a prize, for traditional Eisteddfor it’d s chair but that might not work here. Maybe we could do something like that?â€
  18. Agnes almost absent minded offered up a five dollar bill, it was an old routine between her and Henry. She wasn't a sucker for a hard luck story, but something in the way Henry spoke stirred up old feelings. She’d never known her real parent’s but she knew she’d been conceived in France during the Great War. Beside he could be useful to get closer to hatchet, she might need some muscle when thing’s went down. “The Beer’s on me Henry, keep the change. And leave the kid alone Harry, this dame can look after herself.†She offered a hand to the newcomer “Name’s Agnes, welcome to the Wild Joker’s"
  19. “Oh no you don’t have to stop them, we have to stop them. I’m kind of France so it’s part of the job. So we need to know where Gallia is right? Well let me have a quick look.†Her face went serene and her faint aura begun to glow more fiercely. Rene could sense the magic roll off of the young woman in waves. “Gallia at a long way away, but also not too far away. She’s to the far south or France.†Marianne look more confused than she had before, something that would normally seem impossible “She’s there but she’d not, I’m not sure what’s happened to her.†She quickly recovered her composure and jumped off the chair. “She’s a bit too far for us to reach on foot, so I’m going to have to cheat a little. Is there anything you need to do before we leave?â€
  20. Survival Roll 1d20+2=6, Notice Roll 1d20+9=26. Agnuses have good senses but poor survival instincts .
  21. Grabbing her bag and goggles from Subito she put in an ear bud she’d borrowed from Claremont’s. As she but on the rest of her gear she listened to Subito take charge of the situation. She could help but feel a little proud at that. “I figure the best tactic would to be to take advantage of our Teleporters. I’d suggest that Warp drop’s Heraldo and myself near the machines, then either clear out any innocent or help us harry the robots. Whilst we’re doing that Kit can teleport behind them and disable the transmitter. Apart from myself she’s probably the stealthiest of us, and has a talent for breaking things.†She check that everyone seemed ready, of cause they didn’t rely on equipment like she had to. “Unless anyone has a better plan? But I don’t think we should leave things too long.â€
  22. Remember it’s February on New Jersey, most people would need more than a t-shirt and mini skirt. “Cool I’ll get my coat, you can see my office as a bonus.†She led Megan down the little corridor to a tiny room opposite the recording studio. All it really contained with a desk piled high with paperwork, it’s only decoration was a single Gold Disk mounted on the wall. “This is where the paperwork behind the magic takes place, not to glamorous I know.†She took from her hat stand what she called her Captain Jack jacket, a massive greatcoat, throwing it quickly on. “If you’re ready?â€
  23. She threw back the whiskey with a single motion and put the glass back down on the counter. “You know you couldn’t afford to keep me Harry, though if you keep me supplied with these all night I might gift you a kiss.†She took a puff from her cigarette and scanned tonight’s audience. It’s then she caught the eye of Hatchet, saw that look of true recognition. “Fill her up Harry, I need to powder my nose.†She choose a path through the club to pass right by Hatchet’s table, but he couldn’t see her. It seemed her timing was perfect as she heard him say. With that she lost her footing, giving a couple of young men a surprise. Picking herself up she managed to stumble to the restroom. This was it, she’d found the man who’d did it, who killed her beloved Edwin. She was almost tempted to just get her gun and shoot him there and then. But first he had to suffer, to feel the pain and loss she’d felt. Gathering herself together she managed to walk confidently to the bar, to wait for her chance to gain her revenge.
  24. Agnes's Notice 1d20+9=23
  25. With a slightly self-mocking tone Agnus corrected his pronunciation “It’s Ag-nUs, not Ag-nEs. My parents are strange like that." “You’ve obviously never been introduced to the wibbly-wobbly nature of time. Remember he belongs there, there’s no way we can take him with us. And besides…†she gave a grin “We just happen to have THE Master Mage of that era to deal with him. And I think it’s more important to deal with this canker on reality than some two-bit cultist. After all there are few of them, but there are superheroes around in this time period.†She took a quick breath before continuing “In short Time will tell. It always does.â€
