“I might not quite have the classic education of yourself, but even I’ve heard of Daedalus. I’d always consider his example before developing anything wing based propulsion.†At the offer of one of the woman’s strange contraption she shook her head politely. “I prefer to use this†she held up her sword Dyrnwyn “It may not have the range of those contraptions, but I know this won’t let me down at an important moment.†She quickly scanned the airship looking for any alternative route to their airship. “Well we could go outside, but as two of us can’t fly that would put us at a serious disadvantage should more Avians attack. Maybe those wings wouldn’t be such a bad idea after all; could you create them in about 3 minutes?â€

Just when you thought this night couldn’t get any more complicated things changed again, it seems that they’d stumbled on something a little more than simple drug runners. But right now that wasn’t important; no right now they needed to take down before someone got really hurt. So without hesitation Blodeuwedd followed Mali into the warehouse the large bulk of the man didn’t do anything to slow her progress. Taking a position beside her friend she began to rain a series of blow on him with Dyrnwyn on larger man, the blue flames of the magic sword casting an eerie glow on the three of them.

Move Action: Close on Berserker Standard Action: Attack Berserker 1d20+10=16, hrm probably not good enough a HP for a reroll 1d20+10=14 so that'll be a 24. If it hits its a DC 25 Toughness roll.
-
Le horde's action, leave forth with. So we're back again to the top. 23 King of Suits, unharmed, 3 HP 11 Gallia, unharmed, GM 11 Rene, unharmed, 3 HP 11 Deadbeat, unharmed KoS to go.
-
It wasn't Henri that reacted to Rene call to free all those innocent’s, it was Gallia who responded. <“You I know your mind Rene you’re a good man, despite some dubious choice of allies in the past. And your little friend is of sound heart, his intentions seem pure, but this creature is another thing entirely. Whilst there is no love lost between myself and the ruler of France, I still love the people of our land and won’t see them hurt for no one.â€> And one the guest started to file of the room at great speed, as they reached the corridor they seemed to retain some there senses though no once seemed to panic at what happened. <â€There it is done, now we shall finish this at last.â€>
-
The discord was still growing within the music, it was by now as much about the discord than it was about the tune Gallia originally set into motion. This seemed to send Gallia into more of a rage; she seemed to sense that something strange and powerful was happening in that room. Nothing was holding her in the room, apart from her desire for revenge, and she could have fled. But instead she rained more of her blast of light down into the room, actually managing to come close to the gathered heroes.
-
Well Gallia has a cone on her Blast attack, and as you've so helpfully gathered together 1d20+8=27, miss chance 1d20=9, 1d20=6. So everyone fine. K, Rene do your stuff.

It seemed that general chaos had broken in the whole of the savages camp, but for now she could only focus on the problem on hand. Beside she heard John taking control of the situation, and there wasn’t anyone she trusted more in a combat situation. Releasing the jaw of the grapple gun she dropped effortlessly on the wounded dinosaur neck. As she did so she plunged Dyrnwyn into the creature’s hide with all her might, it seemed to bite deeply in the creatures flesh. Making sure she had a solid hold the creature she grab the little note for later use.

Gallia Falling, part 2 - Rene-le-Chateau (IC)
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in Europe
Marianne looked a little perplex at Rene’s questions, she didn’t seemed to be one for deep philosophical thinking. Or much thinking at all. “I’m Marianne of cause, I used to be someone else to but I can’t remember…†there was a strange mix of certainty and confusion in her voice “But it’s okay when I’m a few years older Marianne will move one and I get to remember who I was…†she paused as if listening to someone else speak “Yes okay I’ll tell him, the voice what’s me to say that it’s okay I chose to be like this. I was very sick, but I’m better now thanks to her help.†She seemed to Rene that this woman was one of the rare individuals with any guile what so ever. -

ON the night the band managed to secure a residency at Freedom Cities hottest Jazz club Edwin asked Agnes to marry her, and she didn’t hesitate to accept. The light went down and Agnes and her band once again begun to belt out another round of soulful jazz tunes. She sang from her broken heart, pouring her wounded soul out to an uncaring audience. She’d played some of the finest club’s in New York and Freedom City and still could; with no false modesty she was too good for this place. But this was the place she could find the people who'd brutally murdered the man she’d loved. Finishing her set she sauntered over to the bar lighting up a cigarette as she did, once there she attracted Harry’s attention. “Harry a Whisky on the Rocks, easy on the Rocks.†Soon she’d have the chance to kill the man who torn her entire future from her.

Blodeuwedd perched on a roof top silent and still like a gargoyle, watching events unfold down in the dock. Thing were more or less back to normal after a couple of week’s spent home in Wales and after rebalancing herself she was ready to get back to kicking criminal butt. Subito didn’t really get the whole idea of meditation, despite her trying to explain the whole idea, but she liked the still space’s where she centre herself. Mali had mentioned he tried to meditate himself, bless him. So here she was keeping an eye out for possible trouble, following up on a vaguest hint of a rumour.
-
Wow it's seem's Blod is lacking in both of those, so untrained it is! Knowledge first, then Streetwise 1d20=5, 1d20=15.

She stepped out of the trailer and paused before Sam, dropping her voice to speak with her. “There are more of them out there, Freedom City’s in chaos. But none of us would blame you if you can’t carry on." She put a, she hoped, comforting hand on Sam shoulder. "But I promise you that as soon as this has settled down we’re going to find the real Tona and punish whoever’s done this.†As she passed down to see the newcomer. Remembering she hadn’t changed from her reporter’s disguise she changed it to her normal costume. “I’m Blodeuwedd.†What more needed to be said?

Blodeuwedd who had bluffed a Queen of the Tylwyth Teg and faced down prehistoric monsters was nervous. It was the first time she had chance to go on a real date, with a real person, well Subito at least. It was important enough that she had asked Sam for help pick out a suitable dress for the evening, she’d then run the idea pass Mali to get something that was a little less risqué. She’d even been tempted to ask for Tona input, but she didn’t have much knowledge of this world fashion, and she’d seemed a little off the last couple of days. She’d taken a taxi, not trusting her nerves enough to drive, trying to time everything to perfection as usual. Freedom City’s traffic was kind to her and she walked through the door more or less on time.

Yeah give us a post getting us out of the camp and well take it from there.

I don't want to ruin such wonder rolls, and they'll be enough to fix the weapons. But I also much point out there are several perfectly serviceable Steam Cannons just lying there...

“Wow I hope it wasn’t to dangerous, the shot-out I mean I don’t think working or dating are normal that hazardous.†Unless there was a chance of dropping your date from orbit, but that might just be her “I’ve banned work talk when we’re together, at the threat of Rom-Com. I think Pretty Woman final broke his will.†She gave a little smile. “I’d give you the grand tour but apart from the break room, toilet and my office you've seen most of the place. They should be done recording in a half hour if you want to see the studio proper. Gail makes a half decent mug of coffee, or there’s this lovely little independent coffee shop just round the corner…â€

It seemed the time for arguments had passed; all she could do now was try to stop him going to excess. Before she carried out his order she quickly scanned the room to see if the cloned sorcerer kept anything magical in his office. If this SHADOW were starting to take an interest in magical artefacts maybe she should advise the Order to add them to their watch list. Satisfied that there was nothing to magically dangerous in the room she proceeded to kick in the vent, releasing a little of her frustration on the metal grill. Venting her anger if you will. She then used one of her throwing knives to jam open the door. “Anything I should be watching out for in their tactics? “

let's do this

If Agnus was embarrassed by being interrupted mid solo she didn’t show it, instead she finish her rendition before giving Megan a bright smile. “Oh hey, sorry I lost track of the time. I’ve been trying to write some new material.†She tucked the guitar behind her back an looked a little guilty “Well mostly anyhow. As a great man once said What's the point of being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes?†She put the guitar, a Les Paul 60’s, reverentially back on its stand. As she did she tried to determined how to deal with Megan. Should she be professional and treat her as investor?, or just treat her as a friend? Well she decided her mum had always insisted that she was at her best when she was just being herself. She went over to Megan and gave her a friendly hug, which was weird as she was a good portion taller than the other girl. At least today she had worn her Converse or the height difference would have been weirder. “Wow you’re looking good. Sorry we couldn't do this sooner but January was a little crazy.†She wince a little the possible wrong choice of words. She’d been out of town when the Day of Wrath stuck, but knew things had gotten pretty bad in Freedom City.

Agnus had always had a good feel for trend that were going on here and back home. And thanks to Adele and *shudder* One Direction British acts were hot right now. So now would be a good time to try and record a second album, and also a bit of a break from just being a Business Woman. So she had spent a fruitful yet frustrating morning trying to write new material. She wasn't a natural musician and couldn't write song or play instruments, at least not without the memories contained within the spirit which resided within her. She knew the material wouldn’t be that great but at least she could pass her ideas on to someone to polish. And it did allow her to play the electric guitar, something she’d wanted to do since she was little, right now rather than do any work she was doing a passable version of Purple Haze. “Stephanie look I’ve got to go, yeah we’ll talk later.†The secretary looked up at Megan and gave a passable professional smile “Hi there, and welcome to Zenith Studio. I’m Gail and if I can get anything for you just let me know.†She checked something on the screen in front of her “Ah yes she actually remember to make a note of it here, she so chaotic sometime I don’t know how she remember anything sometimes.†She realized how unprofessional she sounded and looked a little embarrassed “Straight down the hall to the Rehearsal room, you can’t miss it just follow the sound of the guitar. Please don’t try to enter the studio, some local band are recording at the moment.†One she was happy that Megan was happy with her directions, she put on earphones and started doing work (or at least pretending to) on the computer.

Sure that will avoid those difficult conversations Stealth Roll 1d20+1=17, Survival 1d20+2=11. YB is immune to the hot environment thank's to her well Immunnities. Once we're clear of the camp can we not fly, and avoid some of the moment penalties?

Agnus couldn’t help but make light of the situation, it was almost automatic and it beat the withering sarcasm she used to resort to. “Well my mum would be horrified to hear that, cause that who I think off when you call me Mz Stone. Just remember power comes from there...†she tapped him lightly on the forehead “…and there†she pointed towards his heart. “And failing that you’re linked to every one of the people who have ever taken the mantle of your Blue Dame .It’s there even if you can’t feel it directly.†She floated just behind them as them move out keeping an eye out for any of Madame Malaise’s minion, wondering just when she’d become the sensible mature one?
