  1. Madame Raven Staying mostly to the shadows Madame Raven allowed enough to be revealed to show she was there, a glimpse of the sharp edge of ravenrang to help sell her intimidation. “You can choose to do what we say and let the hostage go. If you don’t well I can’t speak for my friend but things won’t go well for you!” She didn’t plan to hurt the man more than necessary but luckily she was new enough that they wouldn’t know that. She wasn’t sure about the new guy but she had a good feeling that he was okay, he was vaguely familiar from somewhere.
  2. GM Post “Excellent I shall issue you both with a pass for the day.” from her drawer she draws several sheets and fills hands them over, obviously having them filled out already. “However after whatever you encounters today, I do expect a full report on your experiences, this is still in school time after all.” she shoots a look at Betsy before adding “You will not of cause use any of the more… colorful languages that Ms Brooks commonly uses!” She then goes on to other work, the Headmistresses way of telling you all that it was time to leave the office.
  3. If needed to balance out Callie has SM for 25 Intimidation.
  4. Bee Once safe Melissa returned to normal size, taking care to ground the electricity as sparks around her feet. She’d lost more cell phones that way before figuring that trick. For the moment that was her main concern but after grounding herself she finally realised what she’d done. “You need to be careful, people could get hurt!” realising she’d changed size in public, she quickly looked around to see if anyone had noticed “I guess you’re here for the same reason as me?” after thinking she thrust out a hand and looked expectancy “I’m Melissa by the way, pleased to meet you!”
  5. More potential Wolf punchin' Attack Roll: 1d20+10 18 on the off chance thats a DC 25 Toughness.
  6. Blodeuwedd “Thats fine, it wasn’t a fight I relished at all. When I realised it wasn’t a human, the force of the blade striking flesh has a different feel from metal, it helped some but it still had the face of my friend.” She was thankful that her training had kicked in at that point. Blodeuwedd’s were trained to deal with creatures with human faces, with as much force as was necessary “At that point I had to fall back on what I’d learned, focusing on the tasks and problems at hand. It was only later that I had to process quite what I’d done.”
  7. Sorry running super behind, but catching up! Notice Roll: 1d20+15 18
  8. Just to note that its her own natural psyhic ability not the vambrace, but she doesn't know that yet!
  9. The Scarab III Kamala was an engineer at heart and when given an option relied on a technological solution to any problem presented to her. But as much as she hated to admit sometimes it was necessary to rely on less reliable solutions. “I might have an option here if everyone is willing to give it a try. This here…” she held up one of her arms to show an elaborate Ancient Egyptian styled vambrace “… allows me to read peoples minds, the Patriots mind emulation should be complex enough to allow me to attempt such a reading, even if we need to rig up something to allow such a reading.” With so much genius in the room it shouldn’t be that difficult a task she figured.
  10. Liam Conner It had been a long day and the exorcism had not gone well, plus the car was still in the shop until a case really paid out, so Liam was the one who got to walk back to the office covered in slime. He wasn’t sure how it managed to remain when the swapped form and Rosa was being remarkably quiet on the matter. So they really wasn’t in the mood for trouble to start, so the sensible thing would be to stay in the crowd and let one of Bedlam’s (admittedly rare) heroes deal with the issue. But Liam wasn’t really the type to sit by and allow other to take risk, besides people could be hurt. He could feel the sigh from Rosa as he forced his way through the crowd, something that the slime made easier, and struck a pose like a Norse god in a trench-coat. “Can we skip the preamble and just surrender already? Its been one hella day!”
  11. Merge Trois Merge hadn’t, it was the very reason she was both standing on this building and in the crowd, but she wasn’t going to tell this overgrown Robin Hood that. Helpfully the villain choose that moment to appear on stage. “Well I’m just guessing that would be her now.” she said with a smirk She had to admit that the woman had some showmanship about her, as one who used such methods herself, probably the stage seeming how she dominated the attention of the crowd. “A little derivative but she’s got some skills about her!”
  12. GM Post Almost to the moment that the arrow struck the grown one of the roller doors began to open. From the limited light inside the warehouse the silhouette of a woman could be seen. “Ladies and gentlemen if I can have your attention please?” the feminine voice, with what sounded like a local accent, boomed and echoed around the urban amphitheatre. She strolled onto the impromptu stage, on heels that seemed to be impracticable for just about everything, her costume looked like a something superhero inspired designed by a Paris fashionista. “We’ve not yet met but hopefully we’ll soon be allies in running Lincoln. Soon everyone will know the name Dama Maravilla!”
  13. Madame Raven Using some breathing techniques she managed to finally clear her head from the Fearmaster effects. Not that she had much time to celebrate as thing were still going on. Hoping she wouldn’t be caught out by the villains powers again she decided to attack Fearmaster again. She moved with some grace and gave a couple of feints before striking a solid blow on the villains with her reinforced gloves. Finally she could enjoy a tiny victory in this fight. “I fear you are the one that's in trouble now!”
  14. The Scarab III Kamala never doubted her impromptu force field would work, though she would have liked a few more moments to calibrate things a little. Her batteries were efficient but it wouldn’t last more than a few minutes, they’d have to move quickly. Not having time to work on any kind of offensive method she cast around the desk to find anything she could use on the attacking hostage taker. Her hand found a stapler and without really thinking about its efficiency she grabbed it and threw it towards on of the thugs coming through the door. With an unexpected accuracy, which surprised even Kamala, the stapler flew true to smack into the forehead of the man, causing the surprised man to go tumbling to the ground.
  15. Sorry for the delay for initative we have 20 : The Scarab III, unharmed, 4hp 19 : Raven III, unharmed, 3hp 10 : Thugs x 2 (2), minions 7 : Nevermore II, unharmed, 4hp Just to be clear there are two teams of two thugs each, one group in the boardroom and one group in the office Kamala has no weapon to hand so she'll resort to the nearest improvised weapon, a stapler. Minion so she'll take 10 for a hit, no dmagae bonus so a straigh DC 15 toughness save for the thug. Toughness Save: 1d20+1 7 and the Thug goes down, I'll get a post in the its time for Raven to do his thing @KnightDisciple when he's ready.
  16. Callie will keep trying to beat on Fearmaster Attack Roll: 1d20+12 20, if that hits DC 23 Toughness.
  17. Madame Raven Callie was more than happy to let Charlie take the lead on the interrogation, she could do it pretty well but always on the verge of giggles at how silly her intimidating voice sounded to herself. The sirens bought to her attention that she shouldn’t really here, and she didn’t want to get in trouble with older her. “I can’t been seen around the cops, you’re welcome to stay and hand there two over though. I’ll just wait up there for you.” Pointing up she fired off her grapple and disappeared in the upper reaches of the building, merging into the shadow to wait for her fellow cowl.
  18. GM Post The villain looked up at the pair of cowls and had a moment of resistance spitting as he declared. “Children I’ve been taking down by mere children?” he left out the point that he himself was barely in his twenties. His bluster quickly evaporated as he looked at the stern looks of the pair, he probably would have put his hand up if they weren’t bound. “Okay, okay, if things went south we arranged to meet in a small lock-up down by the Hudson. I’m guessing Magpie would have gone there to see if either of us got away.” In answer to his statements police sirens could be heard getting close, finally responding the diamond exchanges alarms.
  19. Thugs Resist Intimidation: 1d20+8 14, I think you're okay. If Charlie is waiting around for the cops feel free to skim the details and we'll get to the next part.
  20. The Immutable Betsy Brooks The woman in question took the hand with a smile, showing more eye teeth than was standard. You could tell she was cool, or though so at least, because she was wearing shades indoors. “Why haven’t you managed to teach your students so manners. I’m Betsy Brooks.” the Afro-Carribean woman spoke with cut glass English accent “In case your wondering your headmistress and myself went to the same school, briefly for myself, though there was a few decades difference.” Murines introduction caused a different kind of smile “Bloody hell thats Anglo-Saxon! Sorry that I don’t speak it but we had to study Beowolf this one time, don’t remember much of the text but the teacher had a good bum…” she shook her head to clear an apparently good memory and get to the point.” “So I’m up from Vibora Bay…” she did a terrible Southern accent before falling back to her own accent “… so I don’t know Freedom City, figured I’d call in a favour and see if I borrow a few students for a field trip. You two in?”
  21. I'm going to stick with the two for now, I've been promising this for far to long, but I'll bare you in mind when I get anther slot open.
  22. Claremont Academy, Freedom CIty 10am 15th March 2021 As you entered the secretaries room of the Headmasters Office, to which you’d just been mysteriously summoned, a strange an unusual sound was drifting from the imposing room, that of laughter. Even stranger on being waved in it was the Headmistress herself that was laughing, a sound you’d never thought you’d hear in all your days. “Ah Mr Landers, Mz Sceadusangere, please come in I have someone I wish to show around.” She gestured to the relaxed looking woman in the chair opposite her.
  23. Madame Raven Callie was tired. Patrolling the streets and doing homework wasn’t the easiest to manage what with the need to actually sleep. And whilst she was doing okay she really didn’t want to have the deal with the disappointing looks of the elder her. Even though she wasn’t to finish her patrol and get sleep in a nice warm bed she couldn’t let someone get mugged when she could do something about it. She slipped down into the shadows behind them before confidently projecting her voice, she’d been practcing her commanding voice based on the older her. “You get one chance to go now, before things get… messy.”
  24. The Traveller “The last time I was here the Lor had just about figured out basic firearms, it was a crazy time for all.” Sitara had seen her share of dead or destroyed planets, civilization and races that existed only in her memories (and Ākāśavāni’s growing database). After the millennia she choose to celebrate the good in those lost, apart from the few that the galaxy was better off without. “So how do you want to handle this? We should at least try and gather data about this thing, natural or not, it is a thing of beauty.”
  25. Emerald Spider Peri tended to keep away for Mars, as she somehow became a symbol of the city it was difficult to seem as critical of the biggest employer of the city. Not that she did pass on what she found out to the others, you picked up a lot when servicing someone's air conditioning. This was different however, with everything going on she had to try and take a look. So Emerald Spider was now stood on a nearby building trying to figure out the best way to get into the building, the obvious place to start when investigated this disappearance(s).
