  1. You're missing the Iniatives 14's AA, I say this not for me of cause but for poor Quickstep .
  2. Blodeuwedd's initative 1d20+5=14, and I was worried that it would be to low  .
  3. Whilst Lucy liked being a hero but there were other way that she could help, she spent a lot of time and effort helping the locals of the community she chose to live within. And there was this, a tiny office where for a few hours a day she met people to help with their problems. Sometimes it was legal advice or the occasional piece of superheroing, mostly it was just a friendly ear of someone who could just listen. She hadn't had a real case yet, but she more than ready for when the time came. It probably helped that she only charged what the person could afford, though if she heard the joke dead cheap one more time… With her feet up on the table she read through today’s newspaper waiting for her first client to arrive.
  4. Blodeuwedd gave a little proper friendly smile after all today she was Gwen and friendly helpful reporter. <â€This is a bloody mess; it’s an inch from a full blown riot.â€> despite her irritation she kept her voice calm <â€I know Walsh is on the level, however misguided he is, but apart from Warp I don’t know any of the other people up there, do you?â€> She could name almost every Fae clan and all there twisted sets of alliances, but she hadn’t yet gotten to know every superhero and villain in this city. It didn’t help that they seemed to pop up regularly like weeds. <â€And keep an eye out for trouble, try to keep Warp safe and Walsh to we don’t want a martyr to make thing worse.â€>
  5. She had to fight all her upbringing to not snap back at the Queen, the idea of joining the two worlds was against everything she was bought up to believe. But now was not the time, all she had to do was delay the Queen until everyone was in the right place. Talking of which. “Times have change and we humans are a stubborn bunch, it might take time and diplomacy until we can achieve that dream.†She gestured at the agents behind her, acting as though it was an afterthought “Do we really still need them around? They might still interrupt your plans, and releasing them will show the Order you a merciful and caring leader. With my help you might be able to talk them round to your cause.â€
  6. Blodeuwedd's Initiative 1d20+5=10, she not slow it's a carefully considered action .
  7. Bluff roll 1d20+12=19, I have the (mostly) truth on my side.
  8. Epilogue IN a place that didn’t really exist sat a man who wasn’t there, he sat beside the idea of a fire waiting for her to arrive. And seen she did walking from nothingness into the circle or light cast by the fire. The man didn’t look up but spoke to the woman I his own tongue. <â€So it is done the potential threat has been stopped?â€> Constance sat down opposite the man, probably one of the most powerful men on the planet. “The people of France will now be able to determine their own fate. Marianne will not play a part in there politics. She’s a sweet girl but she lacks the focus or desire to interfere.†<â€But that’s not why you came here is it?â€> She smiled it was a pleasant change to meet someone who could read her so easily. “No it not, I came to say goodbye. I’m tired of this life, I want to settle down and live a normal life. I’m sure there be another woman who take up the mantle soon.†She sounded truly tired, letting her mask fall for the first time in ages. “But before I go I wanted to tell you about the young man who assisted me, I believe he has great potential. Let me tell you about the man called Rene de Saens…â€
  9. Lucy really didn’t like lying to the police or medical professionals, it had been a bit of a weakness as a lawyer but somehow she’d managed. But at the moment it was probably for the best, she just hoped the trust she placed in this Vampire would pay off. “He has healing abilities, he just needs the liquid to help the process.†Which was to a point the truth. She gently guided the Paramedic away from the vampire before they checked for life signs “He’ll be fine trust me.†She walked over to the SWAT leader, still keeping an eye of the vampire. “I’m terribly sorry about all this; it was just a bit of a misunderstanding. Is there anything I can do to clear this all up?â€
  10. Agnus paused for a second and gave a mock hurt look. “What kind of girl do you take me for? I expect diner at least before I see your townhouse.†The effect was ruined slightly by her broad smile. It didn’t take long to lock everything up and as Asad predicted she was soon streaking past him leaving a streak of light behind her. As she left the building she gave a little roll and hovered a few feet above the building, waiting for Asad to catch her up. “Just to be clear we’re just here to fly around a little, none of that mile high club melarkey.†She gave a saucy wink “At least not today.â€
  11. Edmund sat still for a few minutes considered Rene words and then with a nod he sprang back into activity. “Then it is settled, you shall nurse our poor Gallia until time are better.†He stood and without waiting for Rene answer began to make for the door. “I shall inform the staff here that you are in charge of the Temple until further notice. Anything your desire shall be provided for you, but I suggest you are not to extravagant it would attract undue attention.†He gave a friendly wave “I’m afraid we’ll not meet again, it has been a pleasure meeting you Rene de Saens.†And with that Rene was once again alone with Gallia.
  12. “Pff Ferrari I’m holding out for the Veyron or the Aston Martin, if he’s going to try and bribe me he’s really going to pay.†Her quite broad smile didn’t fade as Lord Lockwood as the subject of dancing came up. She wasn’t really much of a dancer, quite a handicap in the kind of work she was in. She gave Asad a sharp look. “Before you say anything about dancing. In these shoes I don’t think so.†The large platform shoes she was wearing meant she look Asad in the eyes without effort, not the easiest set of footwear to attempt anything but the gentlest of dances.
  13. Several quite creative Welsh curses sprung to mind when her two friends decided to join in defending T-Babies. Unfortunately that would have broken character so she kept such thoughts to herself. It also stopped her getting a good reading on the other on the stage, she suspected that Walsh truly believed what he saying, even if his views were misguided. The "heroes" however she couldn't yet read, but she strongly suspected they weren't on the level. She rapidly considered her options. Appearing in costume would be a bad idea, it's dark colours and glowing green lenses would probably cause more harm than good. She also considered playing cop, there was enough police around she could move around unchallenged, but she didn't have the right badge if she did get challenged. No her reporter identity would have to do, and luckily there was a gaggle of reporters getting as close to the story as they could. She slip almost unnoticed through the crowd until she was as near the front as she could, near enough to be in earshot. With Heraldo being carefully shunted off to the side-lines she took a chance to get his attention calling out in her native Welsh. <"Heraldo it's me Blodeuwedd. Why don't you come her and grant Gwen and interview.">
  14. Despite herself Agnus couldn’t help but smile. “I’m not sure that Rene would be glad to see me, I deceived him last time we met. Shame too he would have been quite a catch back then, but I don’t think I stood a chance for various reasons.†As she spoke she laid her hand on Broken Crow and allowed her healing energies to flow into the man. Unfortunately it filled the pit with a soft glow, but that couldn’t be helped. Hopefully Subito was providing a suitable distraction whilst her healing powers got to work.
  15. She swam over to Kat and made sure that she was okay before continuing. “It’s a complicated thing, but not just yet. I’ve got to take him to meet the family first, and then we’ll see. We’ve been through quite a bit through the last couple of months, which I’m sure Subito would be happy to tell you all about.†She pulled herself out of the pool and sat on the side. “But we’re distracting you, it would probably be best if I go. But if you want, like Subito suggests, we could meet up for lunch and swap stories.â€
  16. Gallia gave a rather unpleasant laugh as the blade harmlessly bounced off her toughened skin. “Oh Rene you’re such a hopeless romantic. But Madame Guillotine held no fear for me, I had nothing to fear as I was among the unwashed masses. Talking of which…†She clicked her fingers and the awaiting guests begun to file into the room, Rene who could see them perfectly could see that rather than empty eyed they seemed to be totally aware, but where being compelled to act on Gallia’s account. It might have been worse than the sight that King of Suit’s could see which was just vague shadows moving towards him as they filed into the room.
  17. Gallia's Toughness save 1d20+12=30. And now le horde! There not going to attack, but Gallia is gong to feed then into the room, making it difficult for the two of you to move. I'm going to treat it as a snare starting at 5 and increasing by 5 for three rounds. So I need DC 15 reflex saves from you both to avoid the Snare effect.
  18. Me neither , but that looks good enough. Steam Gun is disabled.
  19. Standing in the street Blodeuwedd mused about when this actually became part of her normal routine. Yet here she was waiting in case trouble started. She’d considered a number of options, but considering the security situation and the feeling toward any heroes showing up in costume would be a bad idea. So today she was Gwen Cooper slightly hassled reporter who had been sent by her editor at the last minute, hence her gym bag (which concealed all her equipment), to cover the protest. For now she was content to chat away with the cop waiting for something to happen.
  20. Tagged and ready!
  21. Tagged as substitute GM
  22. With burst of steam the two standing Avians fired upon the advancing heroes. The one firing on Lord Steam but that on Blodeuwedd struck home, only to skim off of her body armour. The two seemed to be bracing themselves for the possible assault from the still standing heroes. Whilst through the docking port door Subito could see only a single Avian guarding there entrance to Cressida. But the Avian was a massive example of the species, probably larger than any of his king that any of them have seen before.
  23. The recovered Avians is going to fire Blodeuwedd whilest the other going to take a pop at Lord Steam. Attack Roll 1d20+5=21, 1d20+5=16. So Lord Steam's fine but Blodeuwedd need to make a Toughness save. 1d20+10=27, so she's fine. Lord Steam's next
  24. As Gallia has an area attack I'm going to do this the other way around, miss chance first, keeping the same order (Rene then KoS) 1d20=8, 1d20=15. Seem's she doesn't like KoS. That's a DC 20 Reflex save, you can have a +4 bonus as she's firing blind. Thank's to the glow Gallia only has partial concealment. Rene's up next.
  25. From King of Suits view Gallia was just a faint glow moving through the fog, the fog gave her glowing aura a slightly sickly look which seemed appropriate for Gallia. “If you’re trying to appeal to my human side, poor Jeanne passed on many decades ago. And Beatrice is in no condition to help you, just Gallia.†The glow paused it’s floating and a beam of light lanced through the fog, catching the King of Suit in it’s sickly brilliance. “And don’t worry Rene I’ll get to you in a minute. We’ve got so much to catch up to do.â€
