Well she doesn't have no taste, but it is severely reduced so she can only detect strong flavours. If that counts I'll take the HP.

Freedom City was a place of many strange sights and sounds. But even the most jaded of the city dwellers had to marvel at the sight of Lord Steam Airship taking to the air, a magnificent object all brass and wood gleaming in the sunlight, steam pouring from its engines. It kept low in the sky, for safety sake the various Aviation authorities insisted that the Airship stayed below the normal flight paths Lord Lockwoods staff were as efficient as ever and a flight path had been cleared all the way to their destination.

Lucy happily accepted the Champaign with a broad smile at the Matre’ d. It didn’t have any effect on her, and she didn’t really taste the alcohol, but it helped to maintain her cover. “Try not to enjoy the Champaign to much Doctor; I need you to keep a clear head in case trouble starts. And don’t worry about the cost of the meal, I have money stashed away. It’s one of the advantages of not having to normally eat or drink. Unless you want to go Dutch, I’m a modern 20th Century girl…†It wouldn’t be that easy but she scanned the room looking for someone who fitted the man description of this Vampire, despite herself of cause.

A brief interlude with Grue drones. Initiative please. Grue Assassin 1d20=12.

At the Commanders insistence they were all ushered up onto the bridge, in case the Lor contacted the ship immediately. Which was fortuitous as everything wasn’t as it seemed. Everything seemed to happen at once. Lavender noticed that they weren’t in the part of the Soo-Tine system that they had decided upon. Whilst Starlight and Synth notice that the ships Helmsman was getting up from her seat, some form of blaster in her hand. All the while the Holotable showed a approaching ship that was defiantly not of Lor design, but a small Grue craft.

â€I’m sorry what did you say? Ah you have your pistol ready.†She held her hand out “Best I keep it somewhere safe, we have to assume they will try and confiscate any weapons from her presence. There are places where a man would never search a woman.†She gave a knowing look. The Sinking Ships was a substantial building, designed in a time when it might have defended itself again. It had prospered from those arriving too late to enter the city at nightfall. Especially in these uncertain times. Around the Tavern were some supposed locals gathered in small groups around the building. Rene soldiers eye saw that however relaxed appeared they was keeping a shape eye on the coming and goings on the road, and all their weapons were in good condition and ready for action. -
It was the old tension between the warriors and the seers. As an infiltration expert she needed knowledge of the Arcane side of their business, so she straddled the line between the two sides. It didn’t help that one of the two warrior here would probably have inherited Dyrnwyn if it hadn’t been for the Seers prediction of possible doom. She couldn’t help but give a grin at Subito’s pure enthusiasm. Whilst she could appreciate the cold logical method of the Order, his can do attitude was infectious. “I’m sure you can If we could capture the Afanc not only could we subdue the beast we might be able to trace the magic used back to its source. It unlikely that they would use magic from the Otherside, its different time flows would make control difficult. If we’re lucky they’ll have a link here in Wales."

There was a brief pause whilst coffee was served, and Merge asked them for a few minutes to consider there order. “So I went through the portfolio to see what could be worth so much effort. Most of its was straight forward stocks, share and some property. All of which are still being maintained, you old romantic you!†she gave a little smile “The stand out was a safety deposit box in her name. So I managed to get into the vault and take a peek inside, and no I won’t tell you have I did it, and of cause it was empty. But of cause you must have done all this as well, as I’ve said before you’re not a stupid man. But I’ve got avenues of inquiry that you couldn’t even think about, and wouldn’t consider investigating…â€

“Well I can’t gave away too much, after all the whole point is the reveal†after a though she blushed a little and looked embarrassed “And of cause to celebrate the foundation of the French Republic." she sipped her champagne to calm her nerves But as it you Monsieur de Saens I could reveal a little of my findings.†Beatrice gave a conspiratorial wink. She pointed up at the noble looking visage of the mysterious lady. “Everyone agrees it’s a 19th Century painting, but her clothing’s all wrong it contains influences different periods. But then I figured it meant to be like that.†She displayed real passion about her work as she spoke “Then I remembered a story about a flamboyant figure from the Terror… But I’m revealing too much.â€

Blodeuwedd there was something comforting about the general chatter going on around the table. It was a nice change from the rapid improvising she had gotten use to in Freedom City. She was In a strange situation, she was still there junior in age and the order, but she had also seen and done thing that none others had experienced. And there was Subito, it shouldn’t have bothered her what he thought about her, but for some reason she really wanted him to still think of him as the cool kick ass woman. It wouldn’t hurt to make a few observations here and there. <â€Is it to late to sooth the beast back into slumber? If not is it worth trying to subdue the creature until we can find the Twylyth Teg and break there enchantment?â€>

Merge didn’t seem at all bothered by Amir’s blasé response. Instead she polity ordered a coffee, her voice full none of her normal bounciness. She sipped her water before speaking. “I hope you don’t mind my subterfuge, but I remember you saying that I’m not welcome at your offices. How are the refurbishments going anyway?†she paused slightly before continuing, waiting for some kind of response from Amir “This isn’t the magazines fault they did book this interview, I just hijacked the event. I wouldn’t normally do this, but I think I’ve found out something you’d like to hear. I’ll even cover the cost rather than let the magazine pay for it.†It was hard to tell with Merge but she seemed to be telling the truth.

Attack Roll 1d20+9=29 yay! I'll take the +5 so he'll need a 23 Toughness Save.

Despite everything Blodeuwedd couldn’t help but give a little smile, it might be a serious situation but she couldn’t help but enjoy herself. She rapidly considered her options. The problem with speedster, artificial or otherwise, was working out where they would be at any time. Luckily the user was either inexperienced or tended to stick to same attack style. She just had to pick her time. “That the problem with some men all speed and no style. What a girl is looking so is someone with a little more substance.†At the just the right moment she stuck out her hand at neck level, which he ran into at full speed.

The buggy made its way through the dirty streets of Paris, with all the life it had to give. “I’m hoping we can get through this with subterfuge, but make sure your pistol is loaded just in case.†They travelled for a while before she again spoke “It’s time you let you I on the plan. We’re travelling to a Tavern just outside the city called The Sinking Ship; it seems that the Countess and her supporters have taking residence there. Once we have giving the correct passcodes we should hopefully gain audience with the Countess. What happens next depends on her, but I think we should try and convince her to attempt to free the Prince. The Temple should be a good place to try and capture her.†She gave Rene a little smile “Unless you have a better plan, I’m willing to listen if you have a better plan?†-
And were back, could you both give me Notice Roll please.

Grue Embassy, Soo-Tine VII The Grue Ambassador sat in the darken room sat as though meditating, though he was instead monitoring the Grue ships currently in the system. As he did he again mused on his simple plan to capture the rogue Grue and sort out the problems of the Tine. It was a simple plan bring the Rogue Grue here using its warped sense of honor, then capture and reintroduce it into the Unity. Then the Rogue Grue would admit it planned the incident on Earth, with a Renegade Tine, to discredit the species. The Lor would leave to continue their infernal meddling elsewhere, the Tine would share there secrets with the Grue and they would be able to pick apart this Rogue Grue and learn the secret of its magical powers. He smiled it was almost too easy… Soo-Tine System With a burst of photons, neutrinos and more exotic particles the Sleipnir returned to normal space. No massive Lor ship was ready to receive its arrival however, but a smaller circular Grue ships powered it up and began to make its way rapidly towards the Sleipnir.

The Starlight Room, Tremont Hotel, Downtown Freedom 10 am, 18th September 2012 The interview had been arranged months ago, before the incident at his offices, and Ms Van Cleef had insisted he attend. She reasoned in her irritating calm tones that it was his absent that has caused all the trouble in the first place. And if he was honest things his hunt for Angela had reached an impasse. Despite his best efforts he’d been unable to track down her movements; it seems she’d dropped off the radar again. Probably planning one of her crazy “art crimesâ€. As the waiter took Amir to the table to meet the Reporter for his interview something seemed familiar about her, that wasn’t unusual he’d meet plenty of the press over the years. But that wasn’t that, it wasn’t until the waiter was getting him seated that the penny dropped. She was wearing a sensible, expensive, suit and her blond hair was tied neatly up but it was unmistakably Merge Trois!
-
Ms Van Cleef answered with her normal controlled manner “That crazy woman’s gone from your office. I’ve alerted security but she hasn’t apparently left through any of the exits. I’m just about to deal with the police now, before calling in someone to deal with the damage. Oh and this mad woman ask me to pass send on a message, I’m doing it now.†As the message came in Asad’s cell begun to play a little tune, some modern pop song. On screen was a cute cartoon Merge. Clicking on the app bought up the number and the owner of the client file Merge had claimed to have stolen, in a cute little speech bubble. The file was from a Portfolio he’d set up a couple of years ago, the name of the owner gave him a pause it was Angela Milan.

Blodeuwedd supressed a little frown by nibbling a little on her food. They’d always been told that as a last resort they might have to kill somebody. Keeping the Order secret was so important that it was an option if there security was about to be compromised. Whilst it seemed all good and fine it the isolated environment of the dojo, in the real world with people she considered friends she wasn’t sure she could do it… “I wouln’t dare, I’d break Dyrnwyn on that thick skull of yours.†She managed a weak smile
-
“Your cell has the decryption key for the message from Ms Van Cleefs phone. It’s an exclusive app. I can only provide the name of the files I was hired to help find, I don’t know what they were after.†Her face hardened for a minute “And I plan to find out, I don’t like being betrayed and abandoned. It may surprise you but some of us have a code of honor.†She crossed her arm and gave him a stern look “So you have everything you need now. Let’s hope you also have a code of honor.†She spoke quietly to the air nearby and with a slight blur Camera Obsura appeared. He was masked but the deadlocked man bore a passing resemblance to Merge herself. The way she acted around him suggested she cared for the man. He seemed oblivious to the world, not focusing on either of them.

Agnes picked at the food and looked longingly at the wine, it was still a couple of months before she could legally drink in the States. And yeah she was on an alien spaceship but best not to take any chances. She polity refuse the wine and sipped at the water. “Well I must say this is wonderful spread, though you should try my Mums fried banana fritters someday.†After picking at the food for a more minutes she gave some thought to everything they’d learned. “Sorry to bring work into the meal but I think we should split up again. Someone should go with Jubutus to check out the Subway station, I’m sure this thing could drop them off on the way to the lab.â€

Merge was sat in one of the offices expensive couches holding a glass full of expensive scotch. She’d tied off the jumpsuit at the waist showing a very tight fitting tube top. “You know for a Muslim man you have a very well stocked drinks cabinet. Not that I’m complaining, this is a very fine aged scotch.†She drained the scotch and stood up, throwing towards Asad his previously abandoned cell phone. “You should be care with those; there are some unscrupulous people out there. Steal anything these days." She gave a cheeky smile. “One tiny change in the plan, oh don’t worry the deal still stands. I’ll make my own way out I need you to transport Camera Obsura. Seems Mr Grey left us to our fates when he got what he wanted. Can’t trust anyone these days.â€
