she's joined Starlight in the control room, sorry I should have made it clearer.

We're briefly out of combat whilst everyone decides what they're doing. When we pick up we'll keep the initiatives.

Starlight’s blasts hit the Merge solidly, but instead of doing any apparent harm she just begun to fade away, blowing Starlight a kiss before dissolving completely. Meanwhile the other Merges were cordoning the audience out of the building towards the waiting police outside. In their hurry they weren’t paying as much attention and Agnes was able to slip away from the crowd. She was looking for some place to change when Starlight’s attack got her attention. Making sure that she wasn't being watched or followed she made her way into the control room. “Hey Starlight whatever you did seems to have spooked them. What are they doing now?†Only one screen showed any images, the rest now having been shut down, and showed the remaining Merge’s standing around the studio they had just left apparently waiting for something.

The Order had never considered human threats, only those of a supernatural nature, so Blodeuwedd’s knowledge of SHADOW what was publically know about this evil organization. That said there was a strange overtone to the way that Myrmidon had declared that they had to destroy everything. She turned round to look at him, drawing her hood down to block the light from her goggles so not to ruin his night vision. <<â€That a bit extreme even for people like this. There got to be something else going on here for you to put many people at risk. I’m not asking you to tell me everything…â€>> it wasn’t like she was an open book herself <<â€But give me a reason why we need to go to such extremes? I won’t let you harm people without a very good reason.â€>>

Summit Transnational Offices, Wading Way 27th August 2012 Despite the reputation of the company’s playboy owner its board meetings were normally quite unremarkable things. Today however things were a little different. The meeting was just about to get started when two people just boldly walked into this private meeting. The gentleman was totally unremarkable, to the point of greyness; the woman with him was a totally different story. The young African-American woman towered over the man in her almost impossible heels her blond hair piled up on her head. She wore a pair of over sized glasses and a parody of a business suit just the right side of decent. The pair took up a position at the head of the table, a position normally reserved for Amir, the woman standing behind the grey man. Whilst the rest of the board seemed shocked and perplexed by this sudden turn of events the unflappable Ms. Van Cleef just dialed a number from memory before whispering to Amir. “Sir I think you might be interested in this…†she put the phone on the desk in front of her. The grey man leant on the table for emphasis before speaking. “Ladies and gentlemen I come to discuss you all signing this company over to myself.â€

“Heya. Yeah the doctor also mentioned this guy, so kinda a bust.†Agnes gave a frown and leant against the wall. How would they be able to track down this cult? They’d need some massive advantage, but where could they find such a thing? “Wait we’re on a starship with a massive computer that can keep track of a planet rotating a star going around a galaxy and plot a course to another planet doing exactly the same thing. Could we not track all the victim and look for release points or do some face recognition to look for the cultist?â€

Normally Lucy tended to stay in her dress suit, it helped that the mystical energies that revived her also made the suit indestructible. But for a night out trying to find vampires she thought it would be worth dressing for the occasion. So she had fallen back on what she knew and went for a simple fringed flapper dress and a pair of heels. If she got into a fight they’d be ruined, but for a place like this they’d be perfect. She also went without her sunglasses in this situation her inhuman black eyes marked her out as one of the special few of this city, Freedom City loved its mystery men and that could hopefully play to her advantage. “Hello there I’m Lucy Harker, I telephoned ahead about a reservation.†She gave her best winning smile.

<> It was quite pleasant to deal with someone who was so professional, compared to some of the free spirits she’d dealt with in the past. She spent a few minutes checking the vent for any security measures before carefully removing the grill and placing it to one side. She scanned the darkness for a few moments before indicating that it was safe and plunging into the darkness. Her goggles provided her with perfect night vision as well as filling the vent with a soft eerie green glow.

Mali’s confession managed to completely floored Blodeuwedd. Her sheltered upbringing had meant she had little experience of such bullying. Everyone in the Order were untied together in a common purpose. Luckily Sam just had this ability to lighten the entire mood, even if it did involve reminding her about her less than successful episode. “Remember I didn’t taunt him I just told him a few home truths. Anyway it worked out didn’t it?†she called after a retreating Kit. “Mali you look amazing. Who could resist you looking like that?â€

“She right you know Tona there are some men who think that if you show a little skin that you, how can we say, an easy target.†She gave a small smile at Tona reaction to such a thing “And it’s generally frown upon to break their noses, a verbal put down probably a better option.†She turned her attention now to Mali. “But she right too Mali, you have a wonderful physique and it wouldn't hurt to show it off a little. I mean we’re never going to be super models or playboy centerfolds, but I for one are bloody glad we ain't.â€

Agnes gave a little sigh and dumped her half-finished soda in a convenient bin. Why couldn’t she just have a quiet afternoon without something weird happening to her? This city seemed to thrive on this kind of thing. First thing first distract the monster so that everyone could escape safely. Lighting up her aura, mostly to disguise her features, she flew up until she was in the T-Rex’s eye line. Waving her arms to make absolutely sure she had its attention. “Oi! Fang face how about picking on someone with a bit of bite of their own?â€

Agnes subconsciously leant forward, pulling around her the jacket she picked up from a helpful trooper. “I believe you Wilkins, there are many strange things in the swamp.†She turned to Commander Basque “Me and my colleagues are trouble shooters of sorts, sent by the War Office to deal with thing beyond the experience of it’s regular soldiers.†If need be she could reel off the names of some of the relevant people in the Unions War office. “If Wilkins here can tell us where he encountered these fanged men we can deal with them without risking any more of your men.†She gave a broad grin “After all a doctors best tool is prevention.â€

It didn't take long to recover her sword, she had bought it along but kept it in her car just in case. A few quick texts to inform all her friends and important people she might be away for a couple of days and she was good to go. So she wasn't more than 15 minutes behind Lord Steam as she drove up the drive off Steam mansion, which she had to admit was quite an impressive place. Almost unconsciously she shifted her clothes from a practical t-shirt and combats combination to a rather more fitting dress for the location.

Gallia Falling, part 1 - The Death of Kings (IC)
Tiffany Korta replied to Tiffany Korta's topic in Europe
Rene was woken in the morning by a healthy breakfast and a change of clothes. There guide from last night was serving breakfast even though he seemed a little worse for wear. It seemed his fear of Constance overcame even a hangover. “The Madame asks you to join her in the courtyard within the hour.†In the courtyard was a simple buggy something as such owned by someone with some means but nothing two fancy. Such things were important in Paris where being to fancy in your dress or possessions suggested wealth, and wealth meant nobility, fuel for the mobs both professional and ad hoc. “Ah good morning Rene. I hoped you slept well? We’ll be traveling to a place just outside Paris, I’ll tell you details once we’re on our way.†-
The General looked around her weighing her options before coming to a decision. She took off her helmet, revealing that her curly brown hair was shaved at the sides the rest tied into a bun below her helmets neck guard, and tuck it under her arm. she spent a few second viewing Ironclads images <â€They wore this cross like I said, but the uniform and equipment are all wrong. It’s about fifty years behind the equipment they were carrying. I know nothing of these Nazi but it seemed they spoke a variant of the language of Germania.â€>

The man didn’t seem to react to anything going on around him. “Dwayne we both in danger, the plan do it now.†At this the man simply disappeared and all hell broke loose. Throughout the studio alarms began to blare out and the sprinklers began to kick into action. In the studio the react was almost instant, Agnes was let go and there was suddenly a multitude of Merge’s who seemed intent on getting the people out of the studio as quickly as possible. “Damn the heroes are here already, I thought we would have more time. Right everyone out, right now!†In the control room though the camera seemed to be shutting down one by one by Starlight could still see the room being evacuated. She also spotted from the corner of her eye the screens from the other studio. In there was a multitude of Merge Trois in the process of emptying the big Box O Money of it billion dollar contents.

Lucy was tempted to push a little further to find out just a little bit more than she already knew. But not at the sake of the man whatever what he had done. “That’s fine Mr Dickens you get some rest now and get better, I’ll speak to you soon.†She gave him a little pat on his hand and nodded towards Doctor Wessex. As she watched the Doctor work she considered her options. Well there wasn’t really any option she’d have to check out this restaurant. She waited until the doctor had finished until she spoke again. “I need to borrow a telephone Doctor Wessex; it seems that I’m going out dining tonight. But until them I’m at your service, it seems only fair.†She gave the doctor a bright smile.
