  1. “I trust you Doctor and I appreciate your honesty. Now I guess I should show some honesty of my own. You see before today I never set foot in a hospital before today. When I was growing up people didn’t normally go to hospital you just made the best of it or if you could afford it you paid a Doctor. I was born in the house I now live in, but don’t tell the current owner.†She gave a cheeky smile. “So all this equipment “ she swept her arm around the room “I understand none of this, less so than the common man, so I’m counting on you to explain what’s going on.â€
  2. “My friend here has provided a good summary of the events. I managed to track the state back to a small antique shop in Nova Scotia, and there’s defiantly evidence of Avian activity. Look I’ll show you.†She pulled out a computer tablet, causing some tutting from the traditionalists in the crowd and bought up an image of a radar scan. “There evidence that someone is gathering in large numbers in the area. But no sightings in the nearby area, so they must be staying at altitude. But there no where they could land that high up or it would have shown up on the radar.â€
  3. At that moment through the crowd came the Consul pulling behind him an attractive young woman. He embraced Rene warmly before introductions. <â€Rene I’m so glad I found you. I do hope you are enjoying tonight celebrations. This is Sophie Beatrice the smart woman who discovered the painting identity.â€> The woman gave an embarrassed like look. <â€I am a great fan of work Mousier deSaens, I’m even lucky enough to own one of your pieces. Actually I believe there was an artist in the 19th Century with the same name and a very similar artist style. Maybe a relation of yours Mousier deSaens?â€> Her French had a very distinctive accent of someone who learnt it over in Quebec.
  4. Blodeuwedd accepted Myrmidon offer with a nod and used his lift to examine the ceiling of the lift. Now she put into effect the skill she learned for less than legal purposes. “This probably the most prudent cause of actions, and should hopefully keep the element of surprise. Ah here we are.†Having found the cunningly disguised trapdoor she proceeded to check it for a method of opening, and any form of alarms it may contain. “This could take a little while, are you going to be okay? As for what the initial stand for I’m not sure, but the script they’ve used might be significant.â€
  5. She looked over to there guide, who was sensible enough to lock the door and leave. He could obviously see the look in her eyes. “I was honest with you right from the start, but if I must spend a few centuries in purgatory so that innocent are not tarnished by more bloodshed then so be it…†as she spoke her anger began to rise “…and whatever harm his father did to this country, he is not responsible for any of them. And now some made woman wishes to tear down whatever progress we have achieved to restore the very institution that bought us to this place.†By now her voice was almost a shout “And I am not a strange follower of Sade who gets her pleasure in un-godly ways, the mark is an unusual mole on his shoulder.†She stood there for a few moments drawing breath after her outburst, when she spoke again it was in a quieter more composed manner. “But you are right; if you feel you cannot trust me in any manner then it is better if you travel alone.â€
  6. Blod going to climb up and see if she can spot any kind of trapdoor.
  7. The woman turned the focus of her attention away from the two police officers and onto Ironclad, repeating much of what she just said to the two police officers. To Wave-Eye’s ear’s it was Latin, but not the former Latin of scholar or the vulgar tongue of the common man, this was as different as Middle English was to the Modern speech of this city. <â€I am General Hagnes Lapidern commander of the 21st Legion stationed at Freedom City in Ultra Columpnas. I demand that you withdraw your forces from our dimension at once or we will be forced to retaliate with force. And don’t think your servant of Poseidon will dissuade us from such an action.â€>
  8. Revenant for her part was patiently sat at the kerbside waiting for her companions return. When the creature took off at high speed she knew she could never catch it. Better to wait where she could be found that tear off and loose both the creature and her allies. Beside at least by being here she dissuaded the creature from returning to potentially harm the people they had just been visiting. And it at least proved they were on the right track, this and Marlow unfortunate attack meant someone must be worried that they could find something out. She just hoped that the other group was having as much luck as they were…
  9. “I wish I could offer you some words of comfort Penitent. All I can do is promise you that if in the future I can I will help you, no questions asked.†She was confident that unlike some she had dealt with in the past he wouldn’t dream of misusing her promise. “We still have five of this poor souls, if you pardon the term, to deal with plus there mysterious teacher. And I beside what Shakespeare claims I doubt that Hell is empty. There must be something we can use as an advantage, something we can do to tip the balance in our favor?â€
  10. “Please to meet you Synth. And don’t worry Synth; K’Lee has a hard head and big hearts. Though she probably want her clothes back at some point.†She looked at the flower festooned jumpsuit Synth was wearing. “And Starlight isn’t in any kind of trouble; in fact she’s a hero among our kind because of past actions. I’m surprised she’s never told you the tale of how she freed the Trine people from potential tyranny.†She took a seat in one of a number of large rounded chairs and indicated for the two heroes to do the same. “If you wish I can have refreshment bought into this council of war. Now tell me exactly what do you want us to do about this whole situation with the Tine?â€
  11. The one thing she’d been taught was at a time like this you should tell the truth it wouldn’t take long for people to spot if she was lying. “Well I dabble a little bit in everything, a bit of mixed martial arts, some boxing, and some gymnastics even a little ballet in the day. My main focus is the sword, I’m okay but I’d like to improve my skill. All as just a skilled amateur.†It was a simple matter of fact she knew there were many people better than her, maybe even in this room. No scratch that this Erik was defiantly more skilled than her, that was why she was here after all.
  12. Compared to austere military décor of the rest of the ship the Commander was homely and all in pink, looking for all the world like that of a teenage girl. Now out of her armour and dressed in a simple jumpsuit and t-shirt with the symbol of her ship she seemed much more relaxed. “Ah on time I see, and you must be our mysterious sensor glitch. K’Lee wanted to space you for hurting her engines, but I convinced her otherwise.†She gave a broad grin “My name is Lavender, Commander of this vessel. Welcome aboard my starship…â€
  13. I didn't mock him, I just told him we didn't want him here. Subtle difference . Reflex save 1d20+7=18, we duh she was expecting trouble.
  14. Healing Roll 1d20+8=18. This poison might be tough, but just as tough!
  15. She sat there for a few moments looking at the poor man. Did she have the right to do this to him? He could give her the answers she wanted, but then she could be condemning him to an early death. But more people could die before she gained another clue into what was going on. She gave the doctor a reassuring smile “I believe you Doctor, that’s what important. I need everything you found out from him, I’m not going to risk him without knowing there no other options. And what about it’s his family, they should be allowed to determine his fate. What are his chances Doctor?â€
  16. Blodeuwedd gave a little chuckle at Tona reaction “I think they were afraid that some of the modern music might be a bit too much for you. Trust me an unexpected burst of Thrash Metal can be a bit of a shock to the systems. Personally I’m a bit of an Indie fan myself; you can go wrong with a guitar, bass, a drummer and a singer. Though I not that familiar with the local stations around here so I’m counting on you to see me right. If we’re going to hit a club later on it’s a good idea to sort out our musical tastes.â€
  17. I quite fancy so straight up dino action for Revenant, or if she's to high YB.
  18. Rene strode into the room expecting the worst, only to see the young King sat at a small desk concentrating on writing. Just behind him Constance stood holding a large lit Candelabrum. “There nothing wrong is there Rene? I was just getting young Louis here to write a letter as proof of our visit. It should help convince Gallia of our access.†Her face looked concerned for a second then lit up with relief when she. She stood up and carefully took the paper from the young Kings hands. “Thank you Louis, I’m sure we will visit you again soon. “ she walk up to beside Rene “You obviously have questions, but not in front of the child.†She then slipped past him back into the corridor.
  19. Using my Healing to give him a +8 to fight the poison. Also I'll spend a HP to get Medicine 5 from Beginners Luck. I'll take 10 to get 17 on general medical care.
  20. Almost unbidden to her mind came the knowledge of the Medicine she need for the task in hand. And as a befitted her position as a Doctor she took over the situation. “Hi there I’m Doctor Stone, Agnes Stone. I need some hot water and clean, and I mean clean bandages. Straight away if you could please.†Making sure she was left alone she knelt beside Wilkins and held her hand just above the wound, allowing her healing light to permeate the wound. “Shush now don’t worry the Serpent’s or there kind can’t get you here. I bloody well wouldn’t allow them to. Now rest you need to keep up your strength, you’ve got a family to go back home to.â€
  21. Blodeuwedd kept holding Tona hand until she was sure she was calm again. She’d never suffered from panic attack herself, she been taught to confront and conquer her fears, but it didn’t stop her from feeling for someone who did. “It’ll probably help if you concentrate on inside the car. Maybe we can do something to take your mind off of the journey. Maybe some music? I’m sure we can agree on something we all like.†She knew that that would be a near impossibility, but the general bickering would help take Tona’s mind off of the journey.
  22. Left alone in the corridor the Jailer smiled at Rene and struck a conversation. Like many he was probably scared of Constance status as an agent of Committee of General Security, who had already sent many people to the Guillotine. “A bit of a shock when you first talk to the lad isn’t it. The last people to care for him raised him as their own, probably where he picked up the accent. Bit of a shock to the Committee last time they visited here.†There was a sound of furniture being moved in the room and light leaked through the cracks in the door.
  23. In the last 24 hour she had travelled through time, carried Subito for a day’s worth of flying, fought a foul mouth racist and had seen a side of herself she thought she’d left behind her whilst by being tempted by an evil artefact. She was so tired she just wanted to sleep it all off, about 200 years should do her fine. But she also didn’t want to let anyone die because she was a bit tired, it defiantly wasn’t a sin to care too much about people. “I’ll take a look at him right away; though I’ll need some privacy some of my methods are unorthodox. And something resembling coffee wouldn’t go a miss.â€
  24. With the practiced speed of someone who had to memorized multiple cover stories she quickly and efficiently filled out all the form. “I’ve finished the from as requested Taid…†as soon as she said it she realized her mistake, obviously the Dojo was bring back memories. “Er sorry Mr Espadas, Erik. When I was learning to sword fight back home in Wales I called my teacher Taid. It means Grandfather, it’s meant as a sign of respect. Not that I was suggesting you were old or anything, I think I should stop talking now…†She blushed slightly.
  25. Blodeuwedd offered her hand to Lord Steam. “I do believe I have you at a disadvantage Lord Lockwood. We meet earlier on an unfortunate cruise, though I was wearing something a little more flowing at the time. Call me Blodeuwedd.†She paused for a few moments to allow the information to sink in before continuing. “It seems that someone wanted us to meet up, hence the statues. So this mysterious V must think you have something we need. I have some knowledge about the Statues but I’m missing the final piece. So what do you have that could help us? Apart of cause from your infallible wit and charm.†She managed a cheeky grin.
