  1. Blodeuwedd's already expressed an admiration for the sword-fighters of Freedom so i can totally see her coming to a place like this to brush up on her skills.
  2. Blessed : 22, Unharmed, n/a Blodeuwedd : 14, Unharmed, 2 HP El Heraldo : 4, Unharmed, 5 HP He's going to try to hit the little man that does all the talking 1d20+8=17, so a DC 25 Toughness Save Blodeuwedd tries to hit Blessed 1d20+8=26 DC 23 Toughness Save, a he rolls 1d20+10=27. So he's fine. Back round to EH
  3. Blodeuwedd turned to Subito and clued in him to what she suspect was happening as simply as possible. “I thought so, it seems the artifact is nothing of the sort, it’s some sort of mechanical device. He must have been tracking it down somehow.†The man had worked himself into a frenzy over his apparent slight and was hardly listening to either of them instead he continued his, rather loud, rant.. “I SHALL PUNISH YOU, PUNISH YOU BOTH, FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE.†And if to punctuate this statement he caught El Heraldo with a mighty blow with his Warhammer. As she spoke she watched the man movements to try to figure out his fighting style, and finally with deadly efficiently made a strike with Dyrnwyn. It struck true but skittered harmlessly off his armor.
  4. Toughness save 1d20+10=11, you've obviously taken all his luck . A little bit early to take him down so a GM Fiat and you get a HP!
  5. Blodeuwedd looked relax as she started to climb. “You sure you’ve never meet my Tain. He’s a fan of such incentives.†She sounded confident but after a few minutes it was one thing was obvious. That this girl was a better climber than her, and despite her knowing almost every foot of this wall she was going to lose. She considered for a few second just dropping from the wall, gravity would do the job just fine, but that would be rather unfair. Instead she lost with what she hoped was with a certain amount of good grace. “Well my arrow cutting is a little rust but I’ll give it a try. Do you want to go now or later?â€
  6. The bridge was darkly lit and dominated by a large holographic table displaying what was apparently displaying the destination system. “Ah there you are. We’re close enough to receive telemetry from the Tine system, and we picked up this.†She tapped an area of the display and it bought up an image of a starship, a massive slither of a craft that looked massive even at this scale. “The Glorious Dawn pride of the Lor fleet. You don’t bring out a battleship like that for a simple local disagreement. That suggests another stellar power is involved here.†She gave a wide grin “Wouldn’t it be a shame if we came out of hyperspace too close to that ship?â€
  7. So the Initiative are : Blessed : 22, Unharmed, n/a Blodeuwedd : 14, Unharmed, 2 HP El Heraldo : 4, Unharmed, 4 HP So Blessed goes first, so he'll attack EH with his hammer, 1d20+8=10. That's not going to work. Blod going to move into position and draw her weapon ready for action.
  8. The massive man swung his hammer at El Heraldo with more enthusiasm than skill. It did encourage the crowd to take a step or two backward. “I SHALL HURT YOU HUMAN FOR THE HARM YOUHAVE DONE TO OUR CHILDREN.†It didn’t take Blodeuwedd long to figure out exactly what was going on. Did this city have anything like a normal night? It would be a massive coincidence if the two incidents weren’t connected. “Stay here. And put that away, we don’t want to irritate him anymore than necessary.†As she spoke she pulled on her goggles. Running towards the action she built up speed, vaulting the bar separating the VIP area from the main dance floor. As she did her cloak unfurled around her so it flowed around her as she landed. She had scoffed when Tain had made her practice acrobatic in heels, but now she appreciated the effort. As she did a perfect landing beside El Heraldo she drew Dyrnwyn which filled the area with its unnatural light. “Friend of yours?â€
  9. Lucy tilted her head to one side and gave a little shrug. “Sorry I can’t be of any help, but I skipped the whole death thing and when straight into being un-dead.†Lucy threw a punch towards the necromancer. It wasn’t quite as fancy as other methods she had seen over the last couple of months, but it did seem to work in most circumstances. It seemed to connect with a very satisfying sound. She gave another of her little smiles “I didn’t know that we had to pass a test for the whole death thing. I didn’t even manage to pass the practical.â€
  10. A simple straight forward unarmed attack 1d20+12=22, that should be a hit for a DC 27 Toughness save.
  11. How could she refuse not only did she always enjoy a challenge like this it gave her a chance to measure up the new girls talents. She just couldn’t help herself she just wanted to know. And well it would be fun. She gave a wide grin “How could I refuse such an offer, I won’t even use my grapple gun.†She jumped up on the window sill next to Tona and gave her a little nod. She had considered a little flourish but now wasn’t the time to show off all that she could do. “If you’re ready let’s do this.â€
  12. And now we're in combat. For our Avian friend, let's call him Blessed , I'm using one of AA's build Steel Eagle. So let's start with Initatives. Blessed : 1d20+11=22 (he's fast for his age ). Blodeuwedd : 1d20+4=14
  13. Pushing away through the crowd the assailant came fully into view. He was a foot taller than most people here and looked to the entire world like a middle-aged man with a massive beard , that had begun to put on a weight. However he also had a massive pair of feathery wings and was dressed in some kind of medieval armor and carrying a massive hammer. Freedom city being what it was the crowd didn’t panic but instead formed a massive circle around the pair, whilst the music carrying on now playing a remix of an old 80’s classic. His voice boomed, cutting even through the noise of the nightclub. “YOU TINY HUMAN THINK YOU CAN STOP ME? IF YOU INSIST ON STANDING IN MY WAY THEN I WILL HAVE TO SHOW YOU THE ERROR OF YOUR WAY.â€
  14. Agnes gave a little smile “Trust me there’s a very fine line between an talented amateur and professional. It’s amazing what you can get away with just a vocorder and pretty look.†Her smile turned into a frown “Wow that sounded almost a little bitter didn’t it.†She stood up, smoothing down her sparkly dress. “But you really should drop by the studio sometime; I’d like to hear you play. Let’s go have a look at the studio. I’ve got you a good seat near the front, or if you want you can watch backstage. Your part of my staff today.†She gave a little laugh “Well you’re my only staff at the moment.â€
  15. It turned out to be quite some time; it seemed that the less than a dozen warriors had little to do with the, apparently solo engineer. And the pair had plenty of time to explore the rather cramped crew areas of the ship. Apart from the strange views of the hyperspace and the rather limited database of the ship there was very little to do on the starship. The Mercenaries bustled about in an efficient manner, and whilst they were all polite (and a few properly star struck), had little time to assist the pair. So it was almost a relief when there heard the communication from the bridge. “Starlight would you care to join me on the bridge?â€
  16. Revenants Initiative 1d20+6=16
  17. Actually they were already in the VIP area, but no worries he's already got something else to worry about . Another Notice roll 5 to see the flying Bouncer, 15 to see a silhouette of the assailant.
  18. Nash drew the artifact from inside his coat; it was a rather crudely sculpted statue of a winged figure in a golden color. It look a little like someone who had seen art-deco, but not understood it, and tried and copy the style. Blodeuwedd slipped out her goggles and took a look at the artifact, she quickly realized something very important. “It’s not an artifact, it’s not magical!†He hated this grim human place full of there grim buildings, he wanted to return to the vast blue skies of his home. But first he would stop those that made those blasted statues and tempted away their youth. He touched down in front of the building where he could hear the blasted thing screeching away and folded his wings behind him. The sound was almost masked but the blasted noise that human’s called music, but his keen sense could still hear its presence. There was a man at the door who seemed to want to stop him entering the building but with no time for niceties he threw the man in front of him into the thronging crowds.
  19. “This won’t take long if you all want to wait a minute.†It was difficult to tell that the room was lived in at all; it was spotlessly clean with everything tidied away. Even the only personal touches in the room a collection of magazines, mostly fashion, lifestyle and celebrity with a smattering of Science and Technology, were neatly stacked away. The only decorative item in the room was a sword intricacy carved with Celtic figures. “I’m a simple roommate all I ask is that you keep the window off the latch. I like to scale the wall out of practice and while I can force the lock I prefer not to. Shall we get back to the others?â€
  20. Weird I thought I'd posted them :? . Attack Roll 1d20+8-2=20, Miss chance 1d20=5
  21. Blobeuwedd didn’t often use the doors to the dorm, when she could she tended to scale the walls to her room. It was good practice and a small part of her had enjoyed freaking her roommate out by just appearing in the room. So it took a little while to remember what her room number was. “Wait 314, that my room. Wow it looks like we roommates after all.†Despite herself she gave a little smile. “Do you want to store you stuff first before we give you the grand tour? It’s not much to see I tend to keep the place rather Spartan.â€
  22. She gathered herself up and fought back the fatigue she had been feeling. Whilst her healing here was helpful she was still facing an uphill, and possibly loosing, battle. “So what we split up and then combine what we find? It would make sense as time is of the essence.†She turned round, resting on the desk and looked at the rest of the heroes. “I suggest we split into two teams one looks at the medical evidence and see if we can cure this thing. The other look to see if this cult is behind this whole mess. I can probably teleport myself and another anywhere in the US.â€
  23. Agnes didn’t want to risk relighting her light but from the faint glow of her aura and his constant curses, which had become boring 300 years ago; it wasn’t too difficult to work out where he was. She wasn’t sure if it was just that there luck had turned but the darkness didn’t seem as oppressive as it had before. But best still not to dwell to long in the darkness she had meet, abet another lifetime ago, some of the creatures that dwelt below the earth. Building up another charge of light she sent it rattling off towards the sounds of Lorenzeo.
  24. She let Mr White go, now wasn’t the time to try and take him down. Beside here no-one, well sadly almost no one, could get hurt in a situation like this. She picked up the book but resisted the urge to flick through its page, not before she got someone who knew magic to look it over. She wouldn’t put it past him to put a magical booby trap on his own work. Then she wondered backup to find a writing desk, he of cause would have the kind of old fashion writing kit that she was more use to, and after a few seconds though she penned him a quick note. I understand you ennui, it must be difficult to live so long and not get bored with everything around you. And if you want to just study me to find out how I work I’m as curious as you and would happily help. If you however are determined to carry on with experiments, like those poor creatures downstairs, then I’m afraid I must make every effort to stop you.
  25. “I’ve had a little practice with the Welsh Longbow myself. So I know how much they hurt if you handle them wrong. Taid always let’s people mishandle the bow the once, tended to discourage them from doing so again.†She rummaged in her backpack and bought out a small first aid kit that she had been building up. “Here at least bandage it up, it’ll keep us happy at least.†She listened as the man explained about her arrangements at Claremonts. “Maybe you’ll end up sharing with me? My current roomie is moving in with someone else for next term. I’m surprised that she even noticed that I was there to be honest. We can show you around the campus if you want. I’m still fairly new myself, but this big lug here.†She indicated Subito “Knows the place inside and out.â€
