Zhenshchina-voin A long trained warrior Klara quickly switched from trying to save people from potential disaster relief to fighting the perceived threat. She’d been a hero long enough to always wear her armour about, she’d gotten so use to it she no longer noticed in her day to day life. It might be a little cliché but she went straight for the biggest and most threatening one here, the werewolf, and gave the creature a massive punch to get’s it attention. Obviously something more was going on, but her part here was as a warrior to keep them busy. “I had my fill of werewolves the other month, so if you could move along that would be great.”

Ms Bright She’d might have been temporary blinded but the pastor had forgotten one important details, she was also filled with powers of light. With a flash of energy she quickly transported herself to just in front of the man. “Here’s my response to all the crap you’ve done down here!” She gave a rather mean looking grin before punching him squarely in his face, as much as she wanted to do other wise she held back on using her full strength hitting him with enough just to floor the man. “Here endeth the lesson.”

Scarab III Kamala was feeling a little out of depth, she was smart but here she was feeling very much like a third wheel. Still she wasn’t going to admit that though and was trying to figure a way that she could help. There should be a way to use the virtual environment to there advantage, and help solve the entire mystery of what had happened. “If we give him limited control of the environment could he not build a version of the events as he remembers it? That way we can compare it to what we’ve found and see if anything been altered in any way.”

Madame Raven Slumped in a chair, that she’d almost staggered over in her stalking around the edge of things. She was happy that everyone seemed to be having fun, but she wasn’t quite feeling it still. Instead she munched down on one of the cookies she’d swiped from the food tables, though she guess they were for everyone, and tried to figure out if she shouldn’t just sneak out and find something else to do this night.

Merge Trois “Unlike breathing I can do it even whilst thinking about it, no need for a magic frather for me, And as for the viewpoint I’ve already got one.” Merge said with a smile She pointed to a nearby building where yet another Merge waved down, there was no perceivable point where Archer could see her concentration waver between the two. “Fire escape is over there, I suggest you hurry looks like a meeting is about to start down there. To many people to stall them so it’s going to happen, and as much as I hate to say it people are more likely to believe your word over mine.”

Madame Raven Callie had to admit that there was this weird disconnect about this entire situation. Here she was in her own era, more or less, fighting villains that she’d watched at home. But she also knew from her research back in the 21st century what would happen to them. Callie tried to ignore the memories of such things was with her mother, who she now understood why she was always slightly nervous watching Raven fight. She couldn’t bear to attack Beekeeper, knowing he sort himself out soon, and Traveler was to tough for her so she threw a few ravenrangs towards Fearmaster. She’d never really liked him for so, so many reasons.

GM Post Office There was the faintest of whines and the light flickered for a few second before the door burst opened and one of the goons seeing Kamala made a snap discussion to fire a shot at her. It would have been a potentially deadly shot but mere centimetres from Kamala it seemed to halt in the air, with a faint shimmering, before falling to the ground. Surprised the goon stumbled and fell over Charlie’s tripwire and sprawled to the ground. Boardroom In the near quite the shot reverberated through the floor catching the attention of the guards in the room. The lieutenant that had taken over from the leader looked at the remaining armed goons and sent two of them to investigate the attack, just leaving him and another to look after, the apparently, defenceless board-members.

And there's no way the mooks are going to advoid the tripwire, so I'll post about that soon-ish. I figure at this point we're probably due for Initiatives.

Blodeuwedd “Blue Jay had… issue with Terminus, we just assumed that something had set her off. Or something was affecting her, it seems to be a common occurrence in our line of business.” She waved her arms, knowing Paige at least would understand the situation. “My aim was to try and talk her down before resorting to force, I’d gotten good at hitting thing with the flat of the blade, but accidents can happen you know. And she was my friend I didn’t want to fight her unless I had too.”

ic Only Doing Good When I'm Having Fun
Tiffany Korta replied to Electra's topic in The Theatre District
Frostbyte The paper had been folded with some care, and the string tied into a fancy bow, but it wasn’t at all difficult to open. It was wrapped around a rather colourful fisherman’s style jumper, the kind that Cathy herself was often seen wearing herself, with the colour coming from carefully knitted flames licking over the whole thing. “I know it’s not normal what you like to wear…” Cathy remembered well Raina general attitudes to certain clothing “But I was teaching myself to knit and I though you’d might like one for those cold winter nights. I can assure you that they’re very nice to snuggle up against!” -
Blodeuwedd “Whilst I had my costume there wasn’t time to get changed, this fake Blue Jay was hurting people indiscriminately.” she explained, she was surprised they’d tracked her down considering she wasn’t in her regular costume She’d been amused to find a discussion on the ‘net about who she was based on the pictures from the media, one or two had even gotten her identity right. Though the spelling of her name was pretty atrocious. “With Dyrnwyn in hand I clambered up to where Blue Jay was and tried to talk some sense into what I thought was my friend.”

Frostbyte Whilst Raina was busy with Fred excellent present Cathy took the opportunity to pass a present to Merlin. The similarly wrapped package contained a perfectly monkey sized jumper decorated with a banana pattern. She’d taken up knitting to fill the time when she wasn’t patrolling, working on the farm and not snuggling. She’d gotten quite good and had been creating jumpers for all her friends and family, she’d bought a jumper for everyone but she figured Raina deserved her moment and she’d give out the rest of the knitting tomorrow before returning home. “Your always welcome to come visit the family farm if your in the area,” she been following along as she sipped her drink “But the local ponies are a little ornery tough little blighters though.” -
Madame Raven The thing about being out of time, with a plan the eventually return, was that you had to be careful about what you did and didn’t do and Valentines days was one of those. In generally Callie was avoiding romantic engagement, despite many temptations over the last few months. But she was bored and just needed a chance to get out for a little bit, she’d just lurk around at the back and watch everyone have fun. After all it seemed that Raven’s were built for brooding, so good to get some practice in now. So she put on the best dress she had on hand, a red cheongsam with embroidered black birds taking flight. She then snuck into the place and was wandering the edges trying to take in everything, and everyone, that was going on right now. So much so she wasn’t looking where she was going, and was very literally heading for a potential fall...

Right let get to the stealthy punchin'. Give me a stealth and initiative roll please.

Madame Raven Callie had spent a lot of time studying tactics and she’d been looking at the three below, though not with the detail that Nevermore had to hand. She wasn’t sure but they might be more dangerous that they looked, after all who would be stupid enough to try and pull off such a bold heist in the worst possible circumstances? Or she would if she wasn’t ready to tear down towards the trio. “Let’s do this then!” she whispered “Stick to the shadows and lets do this quickly and quietly.” They’d practed together enough that she knew that he’d be more than up to the task. Really she was more worried about letting the both of them down.

Frostbyte Cathy blushed as Raina pointed out how much noticed everyone had gotten, she should have remember what a sharp mind her friend had for such things. “Well you see my powers are a hella rough on batteries and bad weather meant I didn’t get to the mainland for a few weeks and the long and the short is that I only got my messages a day or so ago.” She slid into the seat as she explained herself managing to control herself enough not to chill the room any more than normal, though the drink might be the odd degree cooler than before. Cathy was thankful that she could now legally drink in Freedom City, it felt like the kind of night where a few drinks would be needed. -
GM Post With the boss apparently out of the room one of the goons took it upon himself to grab the offices small first aid kit and throw it at the feet of Alek. “Stop that idiot from whimpering if you must…” he turned to the other goon and gave a rather nasty smile “Not that it will matter for much longer as it is.” This was starting to look less and less like simple hostage situation, something far worse looked like it was on the cards.

Blooduwedd Here was where things got a little dicey and she had think for a few seconds to get the sequence of events right in her mind. “Heraldo had gone up on stage to try and reason with some firebrand, I won’t credit him by mentioning his name.” she’d had enough experience with Politicians to have a general dislike of them “Then Blue Jay just seemed to go crazy attacking the stage with a hail of arrows.” She still remembered distintively the feeling of horror and betrayal at the time, that still felt like a fresh wound even though she understood what had happened.

ic Only Doing Good When I'm Having Fun
Tiffany Korta replied to Electra's topic in The Theatre District
Frostbyte It had been a long day helping out on the farm, but Cathy was still up and about excited about another chance to visit Freedom City. She was a little late making sure her dress looked perfect, she would have gotten a new one but with the lateness of the invitation she’d not had time to make a trip to the mainland. Besides it was far to late find anywhere open, even if the tall lady from the Ministry hadn’t asked her not to use her powers to cross the mainland. She quickly grabbed the present she’d spent months working on, before after one last check was ready to go. Her arrival at place was telegraphed by a sudden chilling of the room and a faint smell of sulphur. She hadn’t really changed much from the last time they’d all been together, though she wasn’t as bundled up as normal. “I hope I’m not to late?” she cheerfully greeted all her old friends warmly, before offering Raina her present actually wrapped in brown paper and tied up with string “Happy Birthday! Sorry about the wrapping but it was really late when I got your invitation.”
