The figure was obviously humanoid and female with long flowing hair done into dreadlocks, apart from her four arms she could have pass for human. She was also in the process of putting on some kind of hi-tech body armour onto of an oversized t-shirt bearing the image of a cartoon six-legged horse like creature. “Wait it’s running, I told you to wait…†The image spoke to each in their own native language, she straightened up and look to the camera “Under the proculation of the GCC I have been tasked to recover the fugitive know as Starlight and her accomplish â€A pair of images of the two heroes appeared below her hologram “To answer against crimes against the occupants of Soo-Tine system. I will give you fine minutes to arrange matters (and finish putting on this armour) before I arrive to arrest you. Be warned the use of force has been authorized.†To emphasize this point she hefted an impossibly large gun in her lower arms.

Agnes finished the last of the water and carefully put the bottle back in her handbag. Best not to leave this lying around I’ve probably screwed up the timeline already. To be honest she’d gone for food for much longer than this in the past, a fact that whilst she wasn’t proud of, was defiantly proving handy right now. Though she was defiantly feeling tired right now, not from carry Subito he hardly registered, mainly from skipping time zone let alone timelines. The sight of the horse made her more upset than she should; she was a realist when it came to animals but this hit a upsetting note. Then it hit her. “Were chasing someone who wants to be turn back the clock so he can treat people like this. I for one am not going to let it happen to anyone… or anything.†It was a long shot but she felt she had to try dropping to her knees she put her hand on the horse allowing her healing powers to flow through the animal.

Eyes: Brown Hair: Black Nicki is an unremarkable looking teenager, an image she works hard to maintain. Her clothes are fashionable, but off the peg, her hair cut helps hide her features and she taken to wearing glasses, though she doesn’t need them. Merge is the exact opposite she dresses outrageously in bleeding edge, and often slightly bizarre, clothes that show off every inch of her curvaceous figure. Her hair is “naturally†blonde is also long but falls to the side to extenuate her heavily made up face. The tips of her hair is often dyed in a different color with each copy having a different shade. Tacky yet stylish may be a way to describe her look. Power Descriptions: With a few moments concentration Nicki can call up her alter ego, Merge Trois, who can create copies of herself. Despite her name Merge Trois can produce an almost unlimited number or copies, though she often limits herself to three initially to confuse her foes. Whilst the Nicki and Merge are mentally linked, and Merge is driven by Nicki’s desires, Merge can carry on independently of Nicki for an almost indefinite period. History: Growing up was often hard for the Dee family with her parents struggling to make end meets, this tension often led to heated arguments between Nicki parents. To escape this she created imaginary friends who she would spend hour happily playing with, her brother however escaped into alluring world of gangster rap and gang culture in general. Whilst Nicki studied hard to try and make a better life for herself and her family Dwayne fell into a life of petty crime and violence. Despite this Nicki care deeply for her brother who in his own way was always trying to look after and protect his little sister. For a while however things were okay the gang Dwayne ran with were pretty minor happy to commit relatively low key crimes, staying out of the way of the more powerful and violent gang and the notice of Lincoln resident supers. Then one day this all changed when a strange man offered the gang a chance for one big score. Nicki has never been sure exactly what happened as Dwayne came back changed. All of the gang were granted powers of some sort but Dwayne, who had volunteered to be lookout, came off the worst. As well as gaining the power to conceal him from all senses, he also gained the power to monitor and control all electronic devices as well as receive and transmit all broadcast frequencies. The problem was he can’t turn the signals off and is constantly bombarded with the chatter of the electronic devices that fill our world. Whilst he can look after himself and following simple instructions, apart from occasional flash of his old self, Dwayne has been lost in the constant electronic noise. Her parents couldn’t cope with what happened to their little boy and it fell on Nicki to take care of her big brother. Whilst doing that, and trying to complete her studies, she also started to make subtle inquiries about a cure for her brothers condition. Eventually she found somebody who was willing to help, but he warned her it would take massive amounts of money to achieve a cure. Luckily for her he could offer her powers, safe ones at that, which would allow her to gather this necessary money, for only a tiny addition to the total. Having exhausted all other options for a cure she reluctantly agreed asking for the type of power that would allow her to be in several places at the same time. Then she carefully began planning ways to earn the money necessary for his cure. Personality & Motivation: Whilst Nicki can come over as introverted she anything but shy and has, over the hard years of high school, learned to stay in the background and subtly manipulate people to get what she wants. Up to now this was mainly to be left alone in peace, but now these skills have been transferred to her criminal career. Merge Trois acts loud, brash and eccentric and comes across as a little bit dumb, but this is just an act to throw people off what really going on. Her crimes normally involve some form of distraction a flash flamboyant and apparently pointless crime, whilst the real profitable crime goes on in the background hopefully unseen. Whilst she has been forced into a life of crime Nicki, and by extension Merge Trois, consider themselves good people. Nicki would never try to intentionally harm or kill anyone and there are targets she would never consider robbing. She picks large banks and corporations that she feels can afford to lose the money. It also means she won’t work with many of Freedom Cities Villains, except maybe to take the fall, preferring to work alone or using the abilities of her brother. In certain circumstances she may even choose to work alongside some of Freedom City’s heroes, though the need for profits is never far away from her thoughts. Powers & Tactics: Whilst Merge prefers to use guile and cunning to avoid conflict if trouble starts she tend to rely in sheer strength of numbers to defeat her foes flooding the area with as many duplicates as she can. She also tend to avoid bringing Nicki into direct contact with the plan in hand, if possible she will remain a safe distance away and allow Merge to handle the situation herself. Complications: Secret Identity: Nicki works hard to keep her true identity separate from Merge Trois. If thing look to be going bad Nicki, if she’s there in the first place, will disappear allowing Merge to get capture. Who will then just melt away into nothing… Brotherly Love: Nicki feel responsible for her brother and will try to keep him safe and out of danger. Whilst she sometime uses him in her plans, if he’s put into immediate danger she will put all her energies into protecting him. Even if that means her well-constructed plans will fail. I wanted a villian like MM and as she was currently in use I decided to create a villian influenced by MM, plus I have this weird fascination of Duplicators as opponents... There is a major difference between the two, honest, whilst MM is all about crime as a form of art, Merge Trois is all about the money. If MM is a Joker analogue, Merge Trois is more like a (cut-price) Catwoman. I suspect that if the two ever meet, and I'd love to be a part of that thread, they'd probably end up butting heads.

A young runner still in his teen’s guided Starlight to Agnes dressing room, pass the massive sound stage that proudly proclaimed it was the home of Box O’Cash. The dressing rooms were tucked back at one corner of the building and by the size of the room she was quiet low on the pecking order, thought at least she had the room to herself. Agnes reaction was immediate she embraced the hero in a massive hug. “Hey Liz you made it, I was afraid no one would make it. Let me look at you…†she held Liz at arm’s length “I think you look more radiant than ever. Please take a seat we've got a while before they start recording, help yourself to the rider it’s not much but hey it’s free…†Agnes seemed to be nervous about something and Starlight could tell she wanted to her ask her something. “Um I was wondering do you notice anything different about me?â€

After all the arrangements were made Nikki escorted the two heroes back down the lobby. She was polite and courteous but it was obvious she wanted to return to her business. On seeing the protestors she gave a faint smile. “Let’s hope next year bring us all better luck. And Happy Holiday’s.†Farrel BioTech In a corner of the business building sat a device, a dome of black glass, a link to the Tine’s now abandoned invasion. It sat there waiting for a signal from its partner and sign that they were here again. Silently it blink away in the dark, waiting always waiting… ~Fin~

Nikki gave a faint smile “It’s your aura, both of you have the strangest auras I’ve ever seen. And I don’t blame you for not trusting me I’m after all a fiend from hell.†All this was said while she was still looking at the craft floating just outside the window. “It started off higher in the sky, but it’s spent the last few hours narrowing in on this floor. And it’s got some kind of perception filter we’ve had the chance, and time, to test and you can only see it if you’ve been near that thing.†She waved towards the Ansible.

Agnes returned as the Stable master revealed the information about their foe. “I’m set Seamus on his way, and hopefully not screwed up the timeline to much. We can pick up speed once we get outside the city, I’m not sure there use to people flying around yet.†For a few minutes she allowed herself to enjoy the view of Victorian Freedom, in some ways it reminded her of London of this time. Oh well maybe they could sight see after this was all over, time for business. “I figure the fastest of use should help the other along, it won’t take use long to catch up but I don’t think we should face him alone. Okay to avoid embarrassment I’ll go first. I can clock around 250 mph in flight and at that can carry about 240 kilos. And I weigh about 74 kilos that about um… 160 pounds or so.â€

If anyone can try to follow the Master Ninja’s then I suggest you do so.†With that the time for words was over, she knew some heroes liked to keep up a constant stream of words as they thought. She however preferred to concentrate on the task in hand. Crouching down she began to draw Dyrnwyn its unnatural fire lighting up the alleyway. As she drew the sword she leapt and struck the sword out at the Ninja’s it fiery blade sweeping out in an arc. Following the spin she ended crouched back down not worry if the sword had struck. Either it had or now all she had to worry about was there reactions. Tucking the sword under the folds of her cloak she activated Ffoniwch Eluned and faded from sight.

As Starlight entered the laboratory she felt a strange sensation, like a barely heard whisper, in her mind. “Well the evacuation is mainly a precaution, talking of which.†She raised her voiced to the collective scientists and technicians “Okay you lot out, it for your own safety so no complaints. Anyway everything being a recorded so you can look at the data later.†With a faint mumble of protest the remaining staff left the room. “The device activated earlier this morning but that not why I contacted both of you. That is.†she gestured toward the windows, not that it was really necessary. The laboratory was a generous side, taking up a whole floor of the tower block, and was covered from floor to ceiling with massive glass window giving impressive views of the city. Dominating one side of this view was the massive bulk of a craft, hovering a few meters from the building.

k, I'll spend a HP to gain takedown attack. Also take 10 on the nasty minions and hopeful get all of the 10 Little Ninjas. I'll also need a quick draw to get out Dyrnwyn and I'll use a Free Action to activate my Concealment. So an attack roll of 28 and a DC23 Toughness Save.

The receptionist seemed totally unconcerned by Starlights sudden appearance and outburst. “Just one minutes I call Mrs Hawthorn.†After a few minutes Nikki arrived and Synth couldn’t be sure but it looked like she looked her way and give a faint smile. All around her people were bustling around the lobby in a controlled manner, it looked like the building was being evacuated. She then wandered over to Starlight, stopping herself from a friendly hug and settling for offering her hand, she must realize that neither of the two heroes totally trusted her. “It’s a pleasure Ms Starlight as always.†She turned to the receptionist “A pass for Ms Starlight and leave one on the desk for Ms Synth she should be here shortly then get yourself out of the building.†She then turned her attention back to Starlight “The laboratory is one the 13th floor if you’ll just follow me."
