Lucy raised an eyebrow. Selling the secret of immortality via a Dadaist style cut-up. An intresting idea. But something was missing, why was she doing this, and why were Jake and his kind grappling for her secrets? “There must be people who put this all together; the reward must be pretty special. After all there are plenty of ways to gain immortality.†After all I managed to do it “What’s so special about the brand of Immortality that she’s selling?†She gave a friendly encouraging smile; she hated to play people like this but needs must.

Damn Canadian Goths they're so Emo Bluff Roll 1d20+16=36, that just might work!

She checked her sunglasses before replying, she didn’t really want the man to see her Black eyes and get the wrong idea. “Lucy Harker.†she gave a broad smile and took his hand. She wished she had taken time to read some of her content, it might have helped. Oh well maybe she could find out a little from Jake. “I really hope she can see me, we’re distantly related and I was in town for business so I thought I’d look her up. I’d heard she was writing but I’ve never found the time to finish her book. Maybe you could tell me a little about her work?â€

Her instincts were screaming to do more research; she had spent far too many days as a Lawyer rather than a hero. And as she had a deadline before she had to return to Freedom City, however she would achieve that, time was of the essence. So after a few minutes of standing around getting the feel of the area, a checking that it wasn’t too early she was still on East Coast time, she made her way up to the front door of the house where Veronica Stone lived. She’d though of a plan of how to approach this as she waited for the door to be answered. Best to be Lucy Harker than Revenant. If the woman knew nothing, and she didn’t expect to be well known outside Freedom City, she was just another fan who loved the authors Goth stylings.

“Yes there is some kind of bad vibes about this room, and we all seem to be after the same people so let’s take this outside.†Even though this was an area where people general appeared not to pay attention a small crowd had gathered and the driver of the CSU truck was currently trying to park up with adding another incident to the day. The three hero’s obviously go a lot of attention especial Pyre, who couldn’t help to stand out in the crowd. “This may be a little too crowded to compare notes, does anyone have somewhere nearby we can go?â€

Agnes had to bite down a sarcastic response she wasn’t sure why, no she knew exactly why. She had seen scores of women like her that got success through their natural talents. She felt tired and not a little homesick. “I was going to say you don’t realise how much power you have. But you do don’t you? People are willing to die for their little Nightingale, and what do you do with that power?†she kept everything calm and gave a little sigh “I wish you could see where I come from. It’s not perfect but there are people who are trying to make things better for everyone. And one of those people just saved your life.†-
Branson's Plaza The shapechanger wasn’t even bothering to hide his form, walking out if the lobby of the building still in his paramedic form. By now the security had been down and the square was beginning to quieten down, but crowds were still mingling around in case anymore drama was about to start. The shifter didn’t seem to worry about any of this instead he took a straight-line path through the plaza sending several people flying. Ignoring the cry and yells of the people he had sent reeling he instead made his way down to the curb. At the curb he hailed a cab as if nothing had happened.

CEO's Office The CEO didn’t seem overly surprised by Synths transformation; instead she unsteadily got on her feet to check on her slightly shocked PA. After convincing the poor woman she’d be okay and to make sure Rosemary got sorted. Only then did she turn her attention back to Synth. “Please call me Nikki.†She looked Synth up and down “I think you good in anything, especially with that face.†Synth wasn’t quite sure, but she didn’t seem completely serious. “But this blouse is ruined. Please follow me.†She led Synth to a walk in closet filled with beautiful expensive clothes; beyond which was a bathroom, both of which were probably bigger than some of the dives Synth had stayed in. “My poor husband had these fitted. I’ve not quite decide a better use for these room yet, but at least today they have a use. Take what you want… I know you hero types don’t normally take rewards, but I was going to donate most of them to charity soon anyhow.†She took a small card and wrote something in letter that Synth didn’t recognize “If you need anything tailoring take it to this address and give them the card, they can do magic with almost any fabric. And if you'll excuse me I'm going to take a shower.â€

k, Going to take the direct way out so my Toughness roll 1d20+11=15, that an Injury.

She was taking one last look around the burning warehouse before she left when she spotted him. The corpse (hopefully) of the man who had started his whole business, the reason she was here. She should just go leave him to burn unknown and unknown… And yet that was exactly what he would have done, what he had done. Curse she hefted the body onto her shoulders and walked to the nearest window, it was the quickest way out and she couldn’t use the trash from earlier in case the man hadn’t exited yet. She simply stepped from the building, landing in a crouch to try and minimize the damage. She felt her ankle twist badly as she landed but nothing major. She could literally walk it off.

See look this is what she does . Sense Motive 1d20+8=25

Rhonda a friend of Revenant/Police detective I've used in other threads. As for my Gather Info I've only got the name, Kollwitz, the location and the Daylight vampire so I'll have to work from those. I'll go for the whole day so that would make the total 28.
-
One last question, well two. Did they bother to take the old Dons corpse with them. And how far is the drop to the ground?
-
Injury goes in, injury goes out . Toughness save 1d20+11-1=23, so on my goes i'm completly recovered, yay! Is there anyone stupid enough to still be in the building apart from myself?
-
That cool, it mainly for fluff anyhow. So do I need to roll anything to find my information?

Lucy spent a few minutes just taking in the sight and sounds of Anchorage while wandering the streets of the city. She was enjoying herself and really wanted to spend a good while exploring the new sights, but she was here for a reason and had important work to do back in Freedom City. So after a while she reluctantly found herself a little café that still owned a pay phone and ordered herself a very strong black coffee. Carefully dialling the number, and after help from the friendly waitress, she managed to get through to her friend in Freedom City.†“Hello Rhonda I need a favour.†“No I can’t come round and visit I’m in Alaska.†“Yes it’s a long story I’d like to tell you but I’m on a pay phone…â€

Agnes was trying to follow Ada explanation of the plot to use the Bishops Amor to destabilize the region or upset the balance or something but her mind kept wondering to other things. First it was hard to keep up with the whole political situation, it was a little like reading about conflicts in far off lands it just didn’t seem in some way real. But mostly she kept looking at Ada. She could see that they weren’t exactly twin, this wasn’t some Star Trek like parallel world, but they were close enough to give her pause. She wanted to know about this woman, not the rose tinted version of those two love sick puppies. The tea seemed almost over so she took the initiative. “Excuse me gentlemen but I need a private word with Ms Wheatley. If you could escort the Bishop to the safely of the authorities Mr Trowell I will meet you there shortly.†Once she was sure that the two were alone she turned to Ms Wheatly. “Before we discuss any more matter of state do my mind if I ask a little about your past?†-
Oh Az as a construct all damage I take is lethal, so that should have been Injured. As I dazed I can't do anything, except for my Regeneration, which means I'm now fine.
-
“Well it looks like poor Cold Front is losing her cool!†She groaned inwardly at her own joke but said it anyway; it just seemed like that kind of day. She was still a little stiff but her mind was rapidly considering option, best to subdue the woman as quickly as possible and as she had helpfully come so close. With centuries of acclimated knowledge buried in her head she watched the villain blows waiting for the right time. Then gathering together all her strength she made a grab to try and pin her opponent.

Lucy spent a few minutes making sure that all the Atleanians were both unharmed and would harm them in future. Whilst she was doing all this she half caught Lord Steam conversation about the various people who were involved. So she stayed quiet and tried to kep up with the ebb and flow of the conversation. With the arrival of the new woman she saw her chance to step in and a least provide moral support, and possibly even help, Lord Steam. “Please listen to this man, I thinks it best if we all calm down. Obviously there a story going on her and I think we all want to hear it.â€

As long as I can carry on with my turn without to much penality I'll keep the HP and take the dazed. And yes it's a taunt, sorry I forgot to say.

After a quick check to make sure that the man would land safely and she held him out with only one arm. He seemed to struggle a little but she had a solid grip on him. So she turned her attention on the others. “I know what you’re thinking, she’s just a dumb hero she wouldn’t dare to drop a man to his death. But you know after all that voodoo magic I’ve come back a little different…†without looking back she dropped the man without seeming to care, noting the satisfying sound of him landing in the trash. Luckily only she could hear that. She gave a broad evil smile “Now you have to ask yourself is what she is going to do with each of us?â€

I start at +19, but you never know 1d20+19=39, I think that's well grappled. Toughness saves : 1d20+11-1=11, 1d20+11-1=24, 1d20+11-1=27 (and yes I know the second and third should be at -2, but I don't think that matters this time ) I'm going to spend a Hero Point to counter the stun, I recover from 1 Injured, with still 1 Injured to go. First I'm going to drop the baddie saftly. Then I want to try and taunt the rest 1d20+11=20.

Agnes gave a little sigh of relief; she had assumed the worse for the young woman. Know all she had to do is get the woman out and she could go home. Well maybe another pint first… “Please gentlemen if you could stand back.†She pushed them gently aside Without resorting to any kind of trickery of cunning, if had been a long couple of days, she crashed through the panel into the room they were holding Ms Wheatley. Almost instinctively she shifted back into her normal form, before coming face to face with her double, in the traditions of all good (and some bad) body double shows.
