  2. Yeah lets go with that, ta
  3. That all fine, but its a lady CEO! Could you also roll me a relevant medical roll.
  4. Actually I think I'm out of HP's, if not I'll go for the takedown. 1d20+5=16, I think that squeaks by as a hit.
  5. Can I do some kind of sweeping motion with the door to try and knock some (all?) of them down?
  6. These two held the clue to what, or even knew who had murdered the man. Whilst Lord Steam took a more direct approach she thought she’d play the kinder one. She didn’t know but they probably had a term for this kind of tactice these days… So Lucy softened her voice to be the clam caring one of the group, though she meant sure she still blocked the door. “Please you know what happened to that poor man, I think his family deserves to know the truth.†She gave a kindly but concerned look at the two.
  7. The receptionist looked rather panic at this revelation, but managed to keep her composure “Only Brennan her PA, we sent security to find the shooter. Oh dear did we make everything worse?†She looked like she was about to panic, but managed to recover her composure “The Branson Building is 20 story’s tall if that’s any help. Please you have to keep her safe, if she got killed…†Starlight had the strangest feeling of vertigo and weirdly the smell of sulphur. Then the feeling subsided and she found herself standing beside a bank of elevators. A quick look behind her revealed a large but rather simple office and a rather concerned woman holding in her lap the bleeding form of what she guessed was the CEO. Just then the elevator pig as the car arrived at its destination.
  8. Let say 20 storys which is around 200ft. Starlight is stopped for reaching the CEO's office by some kind of teleport barrier, but you are just by the elevator.
  9. “Not much more than you. We were called to check on a no show at court. When we broke in we found the poor man like, what did Sato call it, like someone had done a Willow on them.†He looked a little embarrassed “So yeah black magic is as a good a solution as any. I was just about to call it in a get the detective and CSU down here; do you want a quick look before I do?†Through the window Whiplash could already see the corpse. The poor man was lying on the floor his limbs and face contorted in agony. All of his skin had been somehow removed from his body revealing the muscular underneath.
  10. Maybe now was the chance she was looking for, the Atleanian seemed to be a little woozy from the last round of strikes. Whilst she had the chance she stepped close and made a successful grab for the man. Then she moved to try and pin his arms and stop him for a while hurting anyone else. “Maybe now you’d like to consider just talking to us? Maybe, just maybe if he calmed down he might see this as a chance to stand down without losing his honor. But she had a feeling that he was a death before surrender kind of idiot.
  11. Another straight foward attack 1d20+11=27, toughness DC 26 save. Actually no, let's try for a grapple, 1d20+19=33.
  12. Lucy couldn’t help but smile. “Sometimes I think you’re the most infuriating man I have ever known. It’s like every conversation is a complicated dance, and I don’t know the steps. And I don’t think I’d have it any other way. Besides…†She looked over toward the owner and the attractive chef. She gave them both a friendly little smile. “… I think I’m a little too old for the poor little Phillip. And of cause the owner like my customer I hardly anything and always pay, I would call that the ideal customer.â€
  13. And we're good to go. I'd like to use my new foung dazzle to blind the inqusitors. And hopeful using the door to spare my companions from the blinding effects.
  14. Young Britannia came crashing into the room door still in hand. â€Nobody expects, no that’s far too cheesy. And most you don’t understand a word I’m saying.†Whilst playing the glowing idiot she was scanning the room, trying to work out where everybody was. If she could incapacitate everyone without any harm it was reduce a possible diplomatic incident. And the two poor unarmed fools, after all they were just trying to help. She twirled the door and placed it in the gap before the two could step forward into the room. “I can think of a much better phrase for you.†She gathered together all her power into a quick flash of light. “Fiat Lux!â€
  15. A slight raise of the eyebrow was the only sign that the Receptionist registered Synths unusual appearance. “No today has been quiet, everyone been given a half day off. Except for a few volunteers who have stayed on to keep everything ticking along.†She looked thoughtful for a few seconds. “The only visitor we’ve had were the paramedics that Rosemary… Mrs Thorn just called to treat poor Ms Hawthorn. They just went up to the CEO’s office on the top floor.†She looked a little concerned. “You don’t think someone went up there with them do you?â€

  18. Reacting quickly Lucy rolled out of the path of both of the gouts of flame, but still parts of the stream flowed over her legs. It was a strange feeling and it certainly more painful than normal, but the flames seemed to have no effect on her what so ever. Not wanting to waste time she crossed the room toward the closest armoured thug. Turning at the last minute she panted an elbow into the face plate of the man with a satisfying oomph. “What’s the problem feeling a little hot and bothered?†she put a finger on her lips and looked puzzled “I wonder if you friend can hit me without affecting you? Are you prepared to find out?â€
  19. Reflex Save : 1d20+8=24 Toughness Save : 1d20+11=28 Figure I would have made it anyway! My turn! Move Action to closes with closest flamethrower. Attack flamethrower thug : 1d20+11=26, Toughness 26 save please.
  20. “It’s the Cop’s, the F**king cops. Why are there here.†The snitch paced around the rooftop smoking and taking a small nip from a flask before settling down. “Look I don’t know where it happened, it wasn’t like a video feed or something. But I do know he lived there.†He pointed to the right-hand side, top floor corner “He always picked the one with the fire escape to the roof in case he had to split quickly.†The poor Sergeant almost swallowed his cigar at the sight of Pyre. “Jesus!†a professional he quickly regained his composure “Sorry man you startled me, wait I know you… don’t tell me… Pyre†he gave a beaming smile “Our new detective is keen on your kind, keeps the briefing of all the new supers.†He gave a little sigh “I guess you’re here to see the corpse. If you’re ready follow me, and excuse the rookie she’s just a little keen…â€
  21. Whilst the two villains were distracted Agnes did a quick dive behind a convenient sofa, concentrating as she did a forward roll her PE teacher would be proud off she came flying out of the other end as Young Britannia. “Hello girls. Don’t suppose you’d consider surrendering?†she dropped her accent so it wasn’t quite so obvious, just how many Brit’s were there in Freedom City anyhow? “But just consider this a convincer.†She gathered together her energies and threw towards Coldfront, she wasn’t to try a get any civilians out of the coffee shop as quickly as possible.
  22. Free Action : Transform Move Action : Fly a bit Attack : Focused Light 1d20+9=20, if that hit it's a DC 20 Toughness Save.
  23. The plaza was full of people and hence full of smells but the strange smell of the creatures cut through everything. The trail got a little confused near the building itself but it was obvious that the thing had entered the building. Passing pass the ambulance that had just arrived they entered into the Branson building home of Roseus Corporation just as the elevator door closed, and the smell started to fade slightly. The receptionist must be a long time residence of Freedom City as she seemed unconcerned by the entrance of the two hero instead she put on her best smile. “Welcome to the Roseus Corporation how can I help you?â€
  24. She was over complicating this. “Oh bugger this.†She leant over and grabbing Asad before he could react gave him a large passionate kiss. “Let play a game.†She rolled her eyes “No not kind of game. Instead of me being a wannabe old pop star and you being a billionaire superhero, I’m your attractive talented almost girlfriend, and your my charming alluring potential boyfriend.†She now felt a little embarrassed but ploughed on with her idea “if it helps I’ll be a simple checkout girl with dreams of success and you can be a moderately successful businessman.†Agnes brain then caught up with her mouth and she began to play with her napkin wishing not for the last time that she could have a drink.
  25. She gave a wry little smile. “I myself I’m an old fashion kind of girl. But my employer has an 8 year old daughter who probably knows more about the internet than both of us will ever know.†She sipped a little of the win whilst she considered her option, she was sure the owner would have be horrified if she had asked for a cocktail. “You know we should do this more often, meet up so you can avoid giving anything away about what you know. Possibly without any more revelation about possible vampire relations. Still…†she leant over and gave Rene a little peck on the cheek “…thank you.â€
