  1. Casual, casual, what was he thinking? She was going to be late. She bustled around her hotel room, still in only a towel, clothes scattered around the room. She was meant to be packing to fly home soon, but what to wear? “So you remember if I text you gotta call me back.†“What the message going to say?†that was Emily her agent “It doesn’t matter you just have to call me away. Just in case the whole date is a bust.†She briefly considered a trouser dress, but dismissed it out of hand who would want to spend all day dressed like that? At least she had her shoes picked out, a pair of beautiful Jimmy Choo’s that she still considered expensive. “What like if he’s a total playboy like every media outlet in the world suggests?†“Nah, I recon it’s all a front like Christian Bale in that movie. But defiantly not in the machinist, that’s just a little too much.†There perfect, not to revealing, but enhancing her curves stylish yet yup casual. “I got to go I’m call you later. If you don’t call me.†At least she wouldn’t have to worry about getting there fast. Stepping out onto the balcony, and checking she wasn’t being watch, change into her Young Britannia form and flew off towards the restaurant.
  2. Eclipse Nightclub 11st December 2011 The club look eerie in the cold night air, an effect the owners had spent a lot of effort to achieve. This effect wasn’t reduced by the music pumping out of the building; after all it was the music that everyone was her for. And there was a rumor, always rumors, that tonight someone special was here. Someone who would take the lucky girl, or boy, to special places where they would be the special as well. Though the crowd she moved catching a fair numbers of the cueing crowd’s eye. She wasn’t especially tall, even in those impossibly tall heels, but she carried herself with a detached superiority. Her impossibly porcelain pale skin caused whisper through some of the cue that she was one of them. It was true that it was almost impossible to wear a corset that tight and still be able to breath, but even in Freedom city one wouldn’t be that obvious? She ignored all that, and the fact that everyone was queuing, and went straight to the bouncer at the door. “I’m here to see him.†it was a statement not a request.
  3. Whiplash, Pyre and revenant learn about the sinister plans of a gangsters they've been fighting. IC is here
  4. Rooftop of Floyds Bar and Grill 1st December 2011 GM He shouldn’t be doing this he thought for the hundredth time as he paced the flat roof top of the bar. From below the sound of the bar drifted up, it was shaping up to be a good night down there. He had good, well cheap, whiskey waiting for him downstairs and it would be so easy to leave and go back downstairs. But they shouldn’t have done that to Mike, yeah so he squealed, but it was just too much. A simple bullet to the head yeah, only to be expected, but not this strange mystical Mumbo-Jumbo. Hands shaking he lit himself a cigarette. So he’d just tell these heroes nothing, well maybe a hint or two about Mike…
  5. Diplomacy Roll : 1d20+5=21
  6. Agnes looked a little thoughtful for a few moments. “We need to get the Bishop away from most of his guards. Hmm, If the mountain will not come to Muhammad...†She gave Mr Trowell and confident little smile. “Do you happen to have a sample of Ms Wheatly’s writing? Maybe we can tempt him out of his room.†She wandered over to the reception desk. “Hello there I wonder if you provide me with a room for a days.†Even though she only needed if for a few hour, she didn’t want to have that kind of reputation. “And I would like a pen and paper and oh I could really do with a cuppa, it’s been that kind of day.â€
  7. The force of the blow caused the dark magician to collapse to the ground completely stunned by the powerful blow. Thankfully the golem didn’t spring into life with his masters unconsciousness. The box must be more substantial that she would have expected, it still looked pristine untouched by the force of the blow. Slinging the captured wizard over her shoulder she went to the back room to help poor Yakshini to her feet. “Let’s get you out of here. And this back to its owners.†She waved the box vaguely about. Together they stepped out of the shop, and into somewhere out.
  8. She gave an encouraging little smile to the man; if they were going to be subtle then she would have to prepare the man to the fact that she looked like his beloved. “Do you think it’s a good idea for me to wander into the hotel into looking like this? I mean going looking for a Bishop whilst looking like a glowing creature from the heavens? It’s bound to bring out all his Inquisition guards.†She took a deep breath; this could be quite traumatic for the poor man. “I have another ability, to take on the visage of another. I could take on the form of Ms Wheatly and together we could confront him, it might get more information from him than a direct confrontation.â€
  9. The fleeing man if I had a large man shaped item to throw could I hit him?
  10. Agnes rolled her eyes at the two villain dramatic entrance; whilst they were standing around posturing she leaned in and whispered to Liz. “I don’t know about you but I need time to change, I’m going to try and distract them. Wish me luck.†Agnes gave quite a confident smile as she stood and approach the two villains. She might be in her civvies, but right now she was the ever confident Young Britannia. As she got nearer she gave a little clap at the villains. “I say that is really quite an entrance, you have a good strong theme and everything.†Her accent had gone up several social groups. She gave a sad little head shake. “But really hitting a popular coffee shop how small time. Villains like you should really be doing bigger and better thing. Maybe I could help? I’m Edina Monsoon I run a small PR company, and think I can help you. She gave her best saleswoman grin. “So what do you say?â€
  11. As YB need a little time, and privacy to transform she going to try and distract the two villians until Starlight ready. So I'm going to try and Bluff them 1d20+5=18.
  12. I often wonder how I survived awakening up into the 21st century and I’ve come to an unusual conclusion. It was a simple note quickly scrawled but meant in care. Not long after I woke up I was attacked by some people for just being who I was something that I was only just begun to realize myself, the Un-dead. That night I was rescued in more ways than one by a hero called Silhouette not only did she help me defeat the hunters, and showed me a way I could use my new gifts to help, but she gave a little bit of paper with two telephone numbers. One was her own number the other was for the renowned hero Nick Cimitiere. Not only is he a hero he’s also an expert on the way’s and mean of ghost and undead, someone who could explain to me about what I had become. I never used the telephone number for that purpose; we finally meet in very different circumstances. But anytime I was a little low or struggling about what had become of me the fact that I had that piece of paper that I could if needed call for help was enough to get me through many difficult times. As for Silhouettes number well that’s a story for different time…
  13. To be honest i was expecting a little bit of winging it. Talking of which... Can I follow up with some kind of snare/entangle?
  14. Lucy rolled her eye at Nora comments, dealing with Nora was a little like dealing with a small child or even an unruly animal. She felt a little guilty at even thinking such a thing and concentrated on dealing with the problem at hand. “Now Nora, remember he’s here to try and help you. Your best behaviour please.†She wasn’t sure what to expect but beneath all that leather and face paint, and she had seen stranger sights in this city, was quite an attractive young man. She gave a genuine broad smile and offered Nick a hand. “Hello there I’m Lucy Harker and this is Bloody Nora. Thank you for coming on such short notice, you already helped more than you could possibly imagine.â€
  15. Revenant Bloody Nora the Devil his Due (GM and playing) Karma, Yakshini, Karma Gangland Violence Gothic Revenant Something Fishy Urban Regeneration Autobiography, part four Wiki page, the Roseus Corporation Young Britannia Light Lunch Making Musical Magic Music Hall Mystery Pass the Plate Recruitment Table for Two, and Some Villains GMing Double PInk (points to Revenant please)
  16. yeah sorry I want to pin him for now.
  17. My Toughness save 1d20+11=30. I think I'm okay there!
  18. Free Action Revenants recovers from Bruise Going to Charge with a Power Attack 1d20+4-2=4. Oh that's not going to work, let's try for a reroll, 1d20+4-2=22. Much better being a Critical and All . I'll take the +5 damage so he has to save against DC33.
  19. By the time she had stood up the bruises caused by her throw were already fading. As Revenant stood up she clicked her neck. She looked all business and had a rather wicked grin on her face. “So that’s how you want to play it. Anger, Violence and Intolerance no wonder Atlantis sank.†As she spoke she ran towards the Atleanean gathering up speed as she went. At the last moment she almost lost her footing but recovered in time to plant a well-aimed blow with her shoulder into the small of the Atleaneans back.
  20. So the Ministry got me to impersonate a right trollop, but this poor sap genuinely cares for her. She hoped that if found Ada would return his love, but she doubted it. So some bishop want’s his wicked way with the long lady and tries to keep her to herself, or based on the wound she took silence her for good. She could us the fact he must expect her to be dead to her advantage, but first she’d have to explain a few facts. Before the difficult conversation a little bit more information. “So Mr Trowell tell me everything you know about this Bishop Innocente.â€
  21. As far I understand it at the start of each thread you start with your normal allotment of hero points. I'm going to grapple the ganster that the furthest from us. Move Action to reach him, which is fine unless he's over 1,000 ft away! Standard Attack : 1d20+10=26. Grapple Check : 1d20+16=31.
  22. Revenant gave a broad smile, well that worked better than I expected, but there was no time for celebration the gansters were still a threat and the other hero was seriously wounded. She gave Whiplash a little concerned look. “Will you be okay a minute? I’ll start rounding them up.†With only a quick pause for the answer she kicked off toward the gangster who was fleeing, with an almost unnatural speed. Reaching him she scooped down and without pausing tried to scoop up the prone man. “Will you people never learn? You’re in totally the wrong kind of business for this city."
  23. She hated to be the one show up the negative, but she’d been burned by contract deal before. And it wasn’t just her she had to worry about this time. But she didn’t want to upset this King of Suits, he seemed like a fairly upstanding type of guy. Oh well nothing to do but resort to the brutal truth. Agnes took a little nervous breath, and Young Britannia spoke.. “Okay there’s no easy way to say this without sounding like a right cow. So I’m just going to come right out and say it.†“I mean I know about you by your reputation, and I trust everything that you've said. You believe every word you say. But what guarantees that Asad will stand by the promises that you’ve given us on this windy rooftop?â€
  24. Agnes shall also take 10 on her singing for a total of 22.
  25. Agnes tried not to look to impressed, damn this kid was good. Look like she might have got a lucky find. But in this ego fuelled field of music it wasn’t a good idea to show your hand to early. “Not bad, you did your homework. I’m almost impressed. Though you missed the unnecessary key change before the last verse.†She sipped her water and gave a little smile. “Now that was my old style, clichéd and workman like. I want a slightly different style. Instead of this…†Now her time to show off, she sang a few bars of one of “her†old songs almost pitch perfect. Then without missing a beat she shifted mid verse the style and tone of the song. Giving it a faster and more upbeat tone whilst all the while introducing more emotion and soul to the piece. “…To something a little more like that.â€
