  1. YB's initiative: 1d20+4=19 Staring out longingly into the crowd has some advantages.
  2. In that case I PERFORM, 1d20+7=27. Wow I guess I've found her calling .
  3. Agnes took a deep breath, well this was it. She smiled to herself in recognition of the act on stage; she’d have to get there autograph later. Agnes gathered her thoughts and Annice strolled onto the cell. “Good Evening one and all and welcome to the show!†she milked the audiences reaction here she was still a star “First one last applause for that Quite Interesting bit of Fry & Laurie, the finest comedian of the House.†She gave herself a small smile; she didn’t expect anyone to get the joke anyhow. Not missing a beat she walked to the front of the stage and swept her arms over the audience. “I’d like to thank the gallant members of His Majesties finest the 31st Regiment of the Royal Navy. Who so kindly took care of me all last night. I always enjoy a night when I coveted by Seamen…†she hoped she’d put just the right emphasis for the joke. “This one is for them and my other special friends.†She waved towards the box where she hoped Mr Trowell was watching. "I'm a poor hungry woman and I want a knob... “
  4. Lucy sighed she knew this moment had been coming, but she had wanted to put it off as long as possible. “It’s complicated, well actually it’s quite simple but it’s… unusual. I suppose I wanted to wait until you knew me better.†She stood there painfully thinking through a number of possible options. “I’d ask to wait until after you’d eaten, but you’d only sit there worrying about what terrible fate was about to befall me.†She managed a weak smile “It easier if I show you.†She carefully grabbed his hand and placed it on her chest, roughly were the heart would be. Instead of it's steady rhythmic beat there was nothing.
  5. Lucy inwardly rolled her eyes, no point in upsetting a potential witness. She also gave the police officer a gentle nudge in the rib, gentle as in not breaking any bone in his body. “Please just Revenant, or Miss if you must. You’re being very helpful.†Now the important bit. She gave another of her charming smiles “If you can remember anything, any of your, that you may think of as important now would be extremely helpful. I’d be ever so grateful.†She tried to out on the best amounts of authority and cuteness.
  6. She's not unconcious yet so she could still use her power, so do your best.
  7. The Bluesmans aim was accurate and efficient the throwing star dug deeply into the woman shoulder causing her to scream out in pain. “You son of a bit…†At this point Revenant struck, moving with an unexpected speed for an injured woman she struck clambering over the desk and barrelling into the woman, knocking her to the ground. Coming up Revenant landed a solid blow on the young woman. “That really hurt, but I get better. So I thought I’d return the favour.†She dragged the stunned woman to her feet.
  8. Right I'm back, and Revenants up 1d20+10=28, Femmes Toughness save 1d20+8=12. So that would make her Staggered and Stunned. I'll do the attack you can have the Big Damn Hero moment.
  9. Lucy stood up and brushed herself down “Please just Revenant will do. I didn’t know you fight one dragon dressed in a Renaissance dress…†She had noticed Lord Steam’s critical eye on her as he arrived, as she passed him she raised a eyebrow. “One mystery at a time Lord Steam, the corpse if you will.†She wandered over to were the Garbage men who found the body were impatiently waiting to continue their job. She gave them a broad friendly smile. “Hello there, I know you’re probably sick of all these questions. But anything you can remember about how you found the body anything you saw heard or even smell could be incredibly useful to us, to me.†She gave a coy little smile.
  10. Agnes stared into the crowd think through her options before coming to a decision. “Agnes, my friends call me Agnes. Annice is a stage name, a stage persona. Annice has to be careful what she say’s how she acts. Annice has to stay aloft be unapproachable. Agnes on the other hand would love to go flying with you.†She gave a broad smile You know I think in some small way I understand why some hero have a secret identity. “I’m like a little Russian doll. First there’s Annice the aloft pop star, then there Agnes the off duty Annice who always has to watch what she says and does. Then there the real Agnes in the privacy of her own home.†And of cause there’s Young Britannia, but not just yet. “I’m a complicated girl in short; you still want to fly with me?â€
  11. Agnes gave a little laugh “You should try living in the shadow of the symbol of your nation! I’ve spent the last couple of months avoiding Britannia. I can’t help thinking that she’ll look down in me as a lesser hero.†She spent a few minutes carefully picking apart and eating her croissant. “The one thing I’ve learnt from the music industry is no one gets the big time straight away. Oh yeah you can get that initial boost, but unless you work at it you’ll never get anyway. The Beatles didn’t have overnight success, they learnt there trade in Hamburg, and I’m sure Centurion didn’t save the world on his first day.†She took a quick sip of her tea. “Mmm not bad… suppose what I’m saying, do your best to try and help people, that how you should measure your success the people you help and the people you inspire. I’m sure the magically forces won’t mind, if they didn’t think you were worth it you wouldn’t have been given the gift.â€
  12. Toughness save 1d20+8=11, Dazed and Bruised. Nicely done. And I was thinking of Lady Fatale for a name if you want to keep her around as a recuring villina.
  13. As all my skills are mostly social I'll take a pop at the garabage men. So using diplomacy 1d20+9=28, thats 34 if they think me attractive. That should get me on there side if needed I'm try Gather Information from them 1d20+8=20. Hopefully that should cover it.
  14. Lucy had never been to a real crime scene before but had seen lots of crime reports, almost a century out of date but hopefully the principles are didn’t change. She crouched down beside the body being careful not to disturb any of the evidence scanning the body to see if she could spot anything useful. “Yes anything you’ve found out would be a great help.†She turned to Leviathan holding out a hand “Hello there I'm Revenant, how about we cooperate to help with this case. If that’s okay with you Detective? It’s your case after all.†She knew from Rhonda that some cops could be a little possessive with their cases so no harm in asking.
  15. She genuinely intrested in Asad, but she's not being totally honest.
  16. “I’m not sure about flying I might not like the heights.†Boy could she be any more ditzy? Why didn’t she just go the whole hog and start wearing a bikini and bunny ears? Still it didn’t hurt allowing people to under estimate and she had to admit the guy was cute and charming and well it had been over a year since she had been in any kind of relationship. “So have you tried anything other than “just flyingâ€, you know you hear all these rumours…†she gave a sly grin. Ugh so unsubtle, just shoot me now.
  17. “Nothing to deep, I just like to think about everything that going on around me. Mostly I enjoy the view of the city and the little objects and people flying around.†“I don’t sleep and you can only watch so much television. So I like to just sit quietly and enjoy the view. It’s like that eastern philosophy; I can’t quite remember the name.†She looked thoughtful for a second and gave a little smile “I not sure if that makes me shallow or deep. Maybe a bit of both? I’m really not that complicated a characterâ€, well expect for my past, “What you see is mostly what you get.â€
  18. Agnes was shocked at the look of, fear? Terror?, that crossed Liz’s face. “Oh I’m sorry I don’t actually read mind, it’s more if you were around in one of my past’s or I could…†Agnes drew a breath and started again. “How about I just forget all about this and just go and buy the drinks. He’s hoping they make a decent tea.†She gave a mock put upon look. After taking order and arranging the various drinks and snack Agnes sat back down to restart the conversation. “So could you tell me more about these Lightbearers? I’ve never heard this term used before.â€
  19. Behind Bluesman the gangster aimed his gun to give the killing shot. “Actually I’d look again.†From the window Revenant came flying down, a well-aimed kick connecting the gangster’s already sore jaw. The force of the blow was just too much for the poor guy who when crashing down to the grown. “Sorry I’m late Bluesman, but there wasn’t anyone to give me a lift up.†She gave a friendly smile “So who’s your friend here?†“I’m not his friend, and I don’t believe we’ve been introduced. It’s a shame you won’t be staying here for long.†Then clutching her head revenant collapsed to the ground, blood pouring from her ears. As Bluesman came to his senses he saw two things, the remaining gangster sat in Bobby's chair enjoying his finest Whiskey. And Revenant on her knees beside him blood pouring out of her ears. “Now then Mr Bluesman why don’t we discuss how you can help me, and yourself, to solve this process peacefully.†What choice did he have? Then glancing down he saw Revenant look up smile at him and wink.
  20. So Revenant finally get to strut her stuff, quick kick to the Gangster 1d20+11=24, yah DC 26 save He rolls 1d20+5=11, so the gangster is down. Now Femme has a go 1d20+3=11, oh sneaks in a hit. My DC 25 save. 1d20+10=15. Why am I the only person who harms my own character? Disabled and Dazed. So I say that's a setback, hero points for all and we'll skip a round.Revenant's recovered and is playing patsie. So to summarize Revenant 20, Unharmed, 2hp Bluesman 18, Unharmed, 4hp Gangster 12, Unconcious Femme 7, Unharmed And you'r up.
  21. Sorry its a Bluff, I don't have my books on me so I trusting your memory.
  22. GM The gangster didn’t seem to see the second punch and whilst he hadn’t gone down he was swaying. The woman’s reaction was confusing; she stood there totally relaxed clapping at Bluesman’s actions. “You’re doing very well I must say, but do we really need all this violence? After all I’m just a simple businesswoman and not here to start a fight.†She gave a broad friendly smile, looking as she said totally non-threatening. Just what was she doing, why was she just standing there talking? It was an unusual tactic in such a situation.
  23. Nah, it all works in context. His save. 1d20+5-1=17, so another bruised and Dazed. Femme going for distract 1d20+25=33, you need to make a Sense Motive or Will save or be stunned for a round.
  24. GM Totally caught by surprise the gangster staggered back more in shock from the force of the blow. “Damn supers they’ve always spoiling everything.†He pulled his large pistol from its holster. The woman just smiled “It’s a shame such a nicely built young man; hopefully he doesn’t have any more surprises.†With all their attention focused on the Bluesman, Bobby always knowing when to back out from a fight silently slipped out of the room locking the door behind him. For now Bluesman was alone in the room with two people who wanted to hurt him, just another ordinary day.
  25. Techincally her power is subtle, but as she was being so blatant we'll let it slide. Our little femme fatale doesn't have a name yet so we'll just call her Femme for now (I've open to ideas on her name). k, for the gangster I'm using the Soldier archtype for a tiny bit more survivabilty. First his toughness save 1d20+5=19, so he's bruised. His Iniative 1d20+1=12 Then Femme 1d20+2=7 and Revenant 1d20+2=20, phew. So we have Revenant 20, Unharmed, 1hp Bluesman 18, Unharmed, 3hp Gangster 12, Bruised Femme 7, Unharmed Okay I'm going to say Revenant will take another round to get into the room, giving you a round to strut your stuff. So your up next.
