  1. Toughness save : 1d20+11=30, no damage by a hairs breath!
  2. Ah she expected some of this pure culture clash, but what could she do? Saying anything would arouse suspicion. She’d just had to play along and hope he didn’t notice her discomfort. She have to deal with the smoking too. “Why Mr Trowel I’d love a Rum Totty. But just a small one.†Never having started the habit she had been spared the joys of standing out in cold enjoying a ciggie. But her it was as natural as breathing she guessed. But it would be rude to just refuse out of hand. She put on her best pained face. “I’m afraid my good doctor had forbid me cigarettes. Some mad cap idea from the Americas I’m afraid. But it does seem to be working.â€
  3. One more round of full defensive, then I'll let her have it!
  4. Would she have turned out like this if it wasn’t for others? If Silhouette hadn’t been there to bring her to her senses a creature of almost pure instincts. But that made her difficult to fight, Lucy didn’t think she could defeat Nora and there was still so much to find out about what happened. She wasn’t sure she was happy with the answers she had discovered so far. “Nora I don’t know what happened, I was incapacitated long ago. I don’t want to hurt you I just want to help.†She just hoped it was enough.
  5. Ow everything hurt; she had forgotten how much living took a toll in you. She was full of that nervous energy adrenaline give you, hopefully she’d live to regret it later. But she had to keep focused she wasn’t that keen on dying twice. “I remember everything about that night. Have a little reminder right here.†She pointed to the scar on her forehead. Even her voice sounded off. She thought she recognized the type, a massive ego and need to talk a need to gloat. Keep him talking buy some time that was her best option. “Don't I get a last request? At least a glass of water, or hopefully something stronger. And I believe a last cigarette is traditional.â€
  6. She wanted to just dive into her meal remembering she hadn’t had anything to eat all day. However she was sure that ladies didn’t wolf down there food. So she tried to eat the food as demurely as possible. “I didn’t understand exactly what the good Doctor said. But a few more days rest and my voice should be as good as new. It may even improve my singing voice.†She waved he fork in the air. “Of cause you must come to the first show, I insist. I’ll arrange for Mr Peabody have some tickets on the door.†She was looking forwards to seeing his face when she told him she had given away tickets. “Oh say you’ll come?â€
  7. I'm going for Sense Motive for that 1 point advantage . 1d20+7=14, bah! I was planning on more round of full defensive anyhow...
  8. The OOC for Revenant kicker here.
  9. She was meant to be a Revenant a spirit of revenge on those that had ended her life, or the survivor of the mob family. But things had happened she had thanks to others become a hero and began to help people. And revenge seemed less important, but a crime family, like any family, have long memories when it comes to revenge. She even made it easy for then helping out in the soup kitchen in Broadway, a strong hold of the Mafia’s legitimate business. The soups kitchen was off limits but the rest of the strip was fair game. All it took was a scream for help in the alley, a simple ambush. When she awoke Lucy could tell that something was wrong, it was too cold. It was cold, she hadn’t felt the cold since she woken up before. Woken up dead. She tried to lift herself to have a look around briefly seeing a group of men watching her. Before one of them struck her around the face, knocking her again to the floor. She tasted blood in her mouth, but all she could think of was how healthy her skin looked. One of the gangsters lifted up her face and looked into her big brown eyes. "Long time ago one of our family tried to kill you. Guess I'm going to have to finish the job."
  10. Damn and I finally had something for TH. Oh and I don't have access to my computer so I'm happy for you to start my kicker off. If not I'll set it up in the morning.
  11. Damn it I knew it was to good to be true . I'll take the bonus on Bluff, that probably the most important to her.
  12. The crimson strike fuzzed and splattered around the aura of light that always surrounded Young Britannia which grew in brightness until the crimson colour was enveloped by the pure white light of the young hero. She continued to float there appearing totally unharmed by the attack. Agnes allowed herself a quick smile, but reminded herself how lucky she was the attack hadn’t hurt her. “Looks like the righteous isn’t on your side today. Maybe you should go away and have a little chat with him or even her?â€
  13. My Toughness roll 1d20+10=29 . Wowo survived by the skin of my teeth.
  14. “If you can dance the Charleston, then it’s a date.†Her smile faded and she looked thoughtful for a minute. “The King and Queen have kindly provided.†She held up a piece of paper “But until then it wouldn’t hurt to get the feel of the thing. Okay I’ll let you lend me a dress, but for my pride let me at least offer you pay you back.†She tapped the sunglasses she was wearing. “But I’m afraid these have to stay, I have sensitive eyes.†She looked him over and grinned. “Beside I recon you’d look good in tights.â€
  15. Damn despite his laid back attitude he had a sharp mind, she’d had to be more careful. Lucy was still trying to get a handle on the whole secret idea. She’d never thought about wearing a mask in her early tussles, she just got involved without thinking of the consequences. “I bought it cheap a long time ago, it’s kind of a good luck charm.†she tugged at the jacket “Beside I think it flatters my figure.†She fixed him a puzzled look “Beside aren’t I suppose to be the one offering to pay. What with you being the struggling student and me the responsible adult?â€
  16. “Wow you’ve really got a lot of bile to spit out. Whoever you’ve been talking to he ain’t exactly answering at the moment.†The white light began to build up around her; her hair flowed out behind her as if blown by an invisible wind. “Maybe you should give it a rest and leave us all alone.†The light flickered a moment before she thrust her arms forwards causing a massive burst of light to flow towards Zealot. The blast of concentrated light flowed around the armoured figure. “Before someone gets hurt.â€
  17. Focused Blast 1d20+9=12, Ouch. Damn it I'll burn my second Hero Point for a reroll. 1d20+9=23 much better That a DC 20 Toughness save for Zealot.
  18. Lucy turned round from chatting with the owner of the stall. “They say my suit isn’t retro enough. She says it doesn’t look 1920’s enough. Shows what they know. Sorry what?†She paused to catch up with his side of the conversations. “Oh no this is my first. They didn’t have anything like this when I was growing up. And I’ve only recently come back from being out of the States.†She gave a sly little smile “But it’s a nice day, with pretty scenery, happy people and of cause good company. What’s not to love?â€
  19. I'm going full defensive while I give Nora a change to monologue, I mean tell me whats going on. If necessary, and possible, I'll interpose if she's going towards Steven.
  20. Picking herself up Lucy looked at the Nora, she was angry at her for some reason. She had some many questions, so much she wanted to know. So why not ask? She took up a defensive stance making sure she was between Nora and Stevens. “Look I’m not here to hurt you, I just want answers. I want to know who you are and what you’ve got to do with me.†She gave Nora her best friendly non-threatening look. “I’m willing, as long as there are certain assurances, to just leave you be. No one needs to get hurt here Nora.â€
  21. “Lady Lucy Harker at your service sir. Though you may call me My Lady.†She gave a small laugh “Well okay just Lucy will do.†Lucy leaned in conspiratory and gave a mock whisper “If I turn out to be a bit of an Aunt Lizzie, or I’m cramping your style, you can just leave. I won’t be offended. I'm sure you'd rather be with your friends.†She gave a broad smile and waved towards Brain and Morgan “But I have two knights who will defend my honor…†She offered her arm to the young man. “Let’s go see if we can rustle you up some appropriate clothing.â€
  22. Yeah if only I had those things . I'm going to use a hero point to gain Beginner's Luck, could technically use my power but the whole changing part might tip him off. So that gives me an effective +7 for Diplomacy and Bluff and +6 for Sense Motive. Bluff : 1d20+7=23 Diplomacy : 1d20+7=15 Sense Motive : 1d20+6=25
  23. She had been worried that like Freedom City she wouldn’t be able to find decent curry in this version of London. Actually she been craving curry more since the change, she guess it had something to do with it being Britain’s favourite dish. Looking at his face she tried to pitch the level of friendliest as she lightly took his hand. “It’s a pleasure Mr Trowel. I’m so sorry I’ve been away for a while, I been a little under the weather.†She hoped the blank he was filling in would cover for any differences in her voice.
  24. With Bloody Nora in sight Lucy didn’t have time to enjoy the victory, her first most important task was to separate Nora from poor Steve and allow him to escape. She carried on moving. “Well Nora I’m sorry to say that I’m disappointed I thought you’d be smarter.†She glanced at the frightened Steve “When you can run, as far and fast as you can I’ll take care of Bloody Nora.†With a final kick off she launched herself at Bloody Nora, all of that momentum transferring into the blow, colliding with a satisfied crunch.
  25. I'm going to carry on the moment and do a Rush on Nora. That would be a staright opposed strenght check. I roll a 1d20+8+1=19, if I beat Nora she get pushed back.
